First time here. Took my prescription in and gave it to Steven. He took me right away and had me pick out frames. They werent quite right, the ones I picked so he helped me pick out ones which would let me use more of the lenses. how cool is that!? Did a very thorough check of my eye focal points or I guess that what that is and he was very thorough and patient with me during this process and he also took a lot of time to get all the info from my vision insurance. Got it all squared away. picked up the glasses and I tried em on. perfection! couldnt ask for anything more and he said come in anytime for adjustments. I was thoroughly impressed how important they make you feel. Thanks Steven!
Just went to vision works I wish I would be went sooner. I meet some amazing people and professionals that knows what they doing and they understand how u feel when it comes to your eyes. If u you have any issues with your eyes I recommend vision works off fowler..look for Steve ask for Steve.. hes is so awesome he knows his profession.. thanks steve...

My wife and I have bought three pairs of glasses with progressive lenses at this store and all three have been flawless. I accidentally scratched one pair by dropping it on a tile floor, and Stephanie at Visionworks was kind enough to let me buy a warranty retroactively so I could get replacement lenses under warranty. Thats above and beyond the service Ive gotten at any other eyeglass store.
Both my roommate and I purchased our most recent pair of glasses here, and so far we are quite pleased with the quality. Dr Walker was very patient and thorough with my prescription, which was especially appreciated given my past experiences with optometrists who for the largest part cannot seem to take the time to get my prescription correct. Know that you will be sacrificing expedience for quality if you come here. However if you are one to prefer the type of fast food drive-through style of eyeglass buying experience from a certain other brand that shall remain nameless, be my guest.
I visited Vision Works on Monday, on my lunch break and I was in and out of there in time to get back to work. The customer service was great and I am excited for when my glasses get to me. 🥰
Ordered two pair of glasses (normal bi-focal, lenses). Got my notice via e-mail as promised. BUT.... picking up my glasses proved to be a drill. This store requires an appointment, which is admirable. BUT (again) they dont answer the phone (20 minutes trying and hitting all available prompts) - and - there is no option to make an appointment via their web site. Did a walk in and luckily hit the store when not too busy. I am very satisfied with my glasses. Now I intend to return to purchase another pair (yes, more business for them), however there is no easy way to make the appointment. PLEASE IMPLEMENT SOME SYSTEM TO ALLOW CUSTOMER TO MAKE THE REQUIRED APPOINTMENT.

Store salesman was ineffective at authorizing me to get ONE pair of free trial lenses to drive 2 hours on the interstate and instead recommended I make the drive without contacts in (extremely irresponsible). Have some decency to help life long costumers or they will take their business elsewhere, I know I surely am.
Only complaint I have about this location is the wait time. Both annual eye appointments in the past 2 years have taken over 2 hours. If you book an appointment in the afternoon, plan to be here for 2 hours.
We just moved here from Tennessee and My sons frames broke. They called the Smyrna Tn store got the frame number and placed the old lenses in the frame form 2018. They went out of there way to help us and I only needed to pay for the frame.
This location has poor customer service. They talk about random stuff with customers before attending to customers that have been waiting for extensive amounts of time. The wait is usually 10 minutes for the average place but here it was about an hour. Overall horrible place I would not recommend coming here.

These are the best glasses I have ever had! I can’t believe how perfect they are. Not only can I see better but they fit the way I hoped they would! I haven’t even had to go back for an adjustment! The people who waited on me were so wonderful. So glad I finally found a place that knows how to fit glasses! I have had so many compliments on these glasses.

The people here are great and thats why I drive out to this location but their lab is horrendous. I ordered 2 pairs and they messed them up every single time. Ultimately, the 1 good pair I got was because the associates at the store fixed it themselves with an identical frame they had in stock. Either the power was off or the lab would mishandle the frame so that it had scratches and indents. Its taken over 2 months to get my 2nd pair (sunglasses) since they could not fix it at the store and it still seems wrong. The associates take good care of you though. Everyone was great but I think the last person I saw (I believe Allison) was the best because she also experienced headaches from tight eyeglasses so she was able to adjust mines accordingly so that they dont hurt and they dont slip off. Thank you Yuri, Amy and Indeara as well for a positive experience.
As soon as I entered Visionworks, the women at the desk kindly welcomed me and showed me to the waiting area without hesitation. The secretary was very kind and respectful as she gave me my paperwork and instructions as it was my first time there. The doctor didnt take too long to come in and I was seen by Dr. Stacey Walker who gave me excellent care and thoroughly answered all my questions as she gave me my diagnosis. Visionworks offers a huge display and variety of eyeglasses to choose from with great prices to match. Bottom line, I will be recommending Visionworks to all my friends.
Made an appt with the doctor. They wanted me to get my temperature and wear a mask. I dont want to. For what? For a scamdemic? No. I can get glasses anywhere. Dont even reply visionworks because there is NO reason. I dont follow your company rules, im the customer.
AMAZING !!! Stephanie helped me pick out my first pair of glasses and I could not be any more satisfied with the service. I went in right before closing time and by no means did I feel rushed on the contrary she took her time to make sure I got the perfect glasses. She also did an excellent job at explaining how the glasses work which ultimately helped me pick the perfect lens. I highly recommend this place not to mention they have GREAT deals. I purchase two pairs of eye wear 9 months ago and the service there was awesome. last week my prescription sunglasses broke and I knew I needed a repair. Two days ago I walked into Visionworks, handed the rep my broken sunglasses and she simply removed the lenses from the broken frame and placed it into a brand new frame. I took out my wallet with preparation to pay for the repair and the rep told me no charge sir. I am completed satisfied of the excellent service here at this location!
I cant not say enough about the helpful staff at this Visionworks! My son wears glasses, and his prescription changes frequently. Everyone, but especially Steve and Stephanie, always remember us and greet us with a warm smile. Fitting a wiggly toddler for glasses isnt always easy, but there has never been a time that they werent kind and accommodating. They always go above and beyond to entertain him, and get the job done thoroughly. As an added bonus, they always help me find the best deal. I am so grateful for their help, patience, and knowledge. Great place!
Went to get some new glasses today and Stephanie and Steve were so helpful! Stephanie was suggesting all of these frames she thought would look good on me and she was so friendly. Steve was helping my husband and was also super helpful. It was definitely a great experience and they both helped us to get a great deal! :)
I came in and was told they dont take my insurance. I went home called my carrier and had them send me a list of providers near me and to my surprise this location did was on the list. I came back and could not schedule an exams because the offices was closed for a few days, which was very inconvenient and would have been prevented if the staff would of actually took time to fun my benefits instead of turning me away.
This is the absolute worst eyeglass place I have ever been to. Staff is very strange and annoying. Some may say crazy (in a bad way). They are disorganized and dishonest. The male staff member who took our glasses order was seriously misogynistic and rude to me. It also took him over an hour to put the order into the computer and he typed with one finger at a time, kept getting the phone number wrong as we said it to him, and he also put the address in wrong twice after having me write it down. He blamed me for all of these things. We ordered glasses for three people in our family and we got calls on time for two of those peoples glasses. Our sons glasses were not done on time and we did not get a call,so my husband called two days after the promised date and the woman said Yes,they are here they will be on my desk. When I went in to get them however she claimed never to have spoken to my husband and when I asked if her name was Stephanie, the one my husband gave me, she said yes, but she still denied talking to him. After seriously poor service they finally found his glasses after 20 minutes of looking for them. Something is very wrong in this store.

Stephanie was fantastic! My husband and I both needed new glasses, were looking for a large selection, which we found at Visionworks, and came in on a Sunday with our scripts, ready to pick out and buy. She has a clear way of explaining and diagramming the many different aspects/options of purchasing lenses and frames. We were never confused, as she is just so thorough. The only downside is that Stephanies time was stretched really thin with the constant flow of clients. With an additional sales person, my husband and I would not have been abandoned, reluctantly on Stephanies part, so often, other clients would have spent less time picking up product, not have left without a purchase, and Stephanie would not have had to apologize so often. Looking so forward to my new red frames!!!

I dont know why this place has such a horrible rating. People are just nit picky I think. The optometrist was very nice and professional and informative. The retail staff was very helpful. Everyone was very nice and efficient.
Paid $500 for 2 pairs of glasses, one of them became severly scartched after only 5 months from daily use, i came back to get it replaced they declined because i did not buy the extended warranty they never offered to begin with, will never come back highly disappointing.UPDATE:i was contacted by the manager and they replaced my glasses at no cost, thanks a lot i will be back and continue doing business there for all my family.
I waited for 55 minutes to get some help last week. I waited with my eye glasses that I wanted to purchase on one of their tables for 55 minutes to eventually be told that they don’t accept my VSP insurance (even though on the phone I called the day before to ask if they accept my VSP and they said yes) won’t be going back to this place. Also lady in eyeglasses who works there during day called one of her coworkers an idiot when a customer came in with for help.
I took a disabled wheelchair bound veteran and everyone was very accommodating. Stef was great along with everyone there. The staff was very helpful and kind.

I had a 3:15 appt for and eye exam and didnt get called back til 4:18 I waited an hour to be seen so i didnt get a chance to even pick out glasses...And that was the main reason i came in was to get new glasses cause my others one are broken and glued together at the moment so im very disappointed... So no i wont be getting glasses from here ill just take my perception somewhere else
Appointment at 4:30, wasnt seen until 5:45, wouldnt give me my pupillary distance. Saleswomen was a little aggressive. Optometrist was competent and staff was overall nice. Wont be going back.
Great selection of frames and the staff acknowledged/helped me almost immediately. Very friendly and helpful with any questions i had about coverage/contacts/ etc.

They are extremely unprofessional! I’m waiting here for 20 minutes no one has yet even answered my question that if my insurance covers eye exam or not. And the funny part is that they just answer we don’t know and no one literally care!! I have a feeling that they are also racist.
I had an appointment Friday August 17 at 5:15 p.m.. ..I was taken care of professionally and the ladies in the eye clinic were awesome and know their jobs very well. Dr. Walker was by far the Best Optometrist I have ever had my Eyes examined by..I went there to get more than just an eye exam for eye glasses and Dr.Walker took the time and explained everything she was checking for and I felt very comfortable.. Thank you very much to the Staff at VisionWorks....When I do need new eyeglasses and vision testing I will be going back to VisionWorks....
Thank You Vision Works. Specially to Steven L. He fixed my glasses after they got bent at work and I couldnt bring then back to normal. He took his time ans saved my MK glasses with No charge. :) I really appreciate your time and kindness.
I believe companies conduct their own surveys and Visionworks does so. They have some high numbers in customer satisfaction, 90% or higher per store. They do this weekly and monthly. If you really would like to know, go in and ask them, they will let you know or show you. Some of these reviews here are dubious and can be fake from competitors and not objective or Just plain hateful customers. Cant make every one happy all the time and its not for not trying.

What a joke.This is two years in a row, my wife called and set up a 9am appointment. We want to get in have eyes checked and out. We arrived at 8:05 its now 10:40 and she is just going back to see Dr. So much for a 9am appointment. They did the same thing last year. If visit continues as last year it will be around 11:30 before or 9am appointment is done.
I went here recently to get new glasses and the sales associate was really helpful in explaining all my options as far as types of lenses available as well as what my insurance would cover.
I mean there isnt much to complain about the staff was attentive to me, they got the fit right and all in all a pretty sweet experience

Awful place to shop. The staff are pushy beyond all belief. Besides that their sales only apply if you do not have insurance. Their signs do not say that though, and you will not find out until youre mostly finished with the process.All in all, there are better places to buy glasses.

This place gets a bad wrap, but its absolutely fine. True, they are super busy (it is in the middle of the city) and it seems understaffed. Still, I got 2 pairs of full bling glasses( transition, progressive, polycarbonate, antiglare) for half the price than the private practice optical up the street.I didnt mind the wait, as I am indecisive and took advantage of the time to try on as many frames as I wanted.They are easygoing, but dont let it fool you, they are fully competent.
Had a great experiance in here today, everyone is so fraindly in there espacilly Stephane, Steve, and Colleen. They had a great doctor as well who did the best eye exam I had in a while. All in all I loved my experince with them and will defiantly recomend them to anyone

I visited the shop a couple months ago to buy 2 glasses and in that experience I thought the manager ( I think her name is Stephanie) was rude but I just preferred to forget all about her and my experience, but yesterday when one of my glasses was broken I stopped by to the fowler location, she put me on hold for a long time and took care of another customer whoever came after me without giving me any notice ..then 2 more people came to pick up glasses then finally she asked me what was my reason to be there..while I was explaining she told me whoa whoa I cant listen 10 things at a time thats all I said this one is broken and this one has to be with same lenses but gives me a headache. Then she said I remembered you came with your husband, Would you like him to fix it? I couldnt get what is about him and my reason to be at visionworksI said there is no make sense why you offer my husband to fix it? what is the purpose to be here? and then she said because I can break it if I try to fix it.This is not the way to explain the situation. and then while I was going to ask something she started to took care of the customer who came after me and even that customer offered her to take care of me and she said dont worry about her she needs to stay here longer sooo rude, this is obviously discrimination, she obviously had a problem with my headscarf as a muslim woman and my accent, it is so sad we live with these type of people under the same sky..I went to Dale Mabry location Gary took care of me with a very nice attitude and my eyes was watering when I was thinking about her discriminative attitude. I am in this country without depending on anybody if I have to face these type of experiences who knows what refugees experience with these kind of people, shameful..
I had great service there. I have gotten 2 pairs of glasses each for me and my daughter. Love the bogo, it was cheaper than one pair at the last office I went to. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had to go back to have them adjusted and they were great then too. Im so surprised to see the negative reviews as I have delt with 3 different people there who were all great. I just got off the phone to make an appt with the Dr and service was again great - which goes along with the prices! I was priced gouged at the last office I went to and not treated nearly as nice.
Very unorganized. I had to go up there 3 times and my glasses still weren’t ready. Then when I called ahead and showed up they claimed they lost my glasses. Staff was very unorganized and the guy was overwhelmed and came across very rude when questioned about how long the wait would be. I do not reccommend this office to anyone!

STAY AWAY . To reiterate the other reviews, this place has the worst customer service in the USA. Rude, condescending, arrogant, they are disorganized, lazy, and oblivious. Warranty is useless, when the glasses fell apart, they say too bad. Destined for bankruptcy and a lock on a Hall of Shame award.
