I really enjoyed this place, the service was absolutely wonderful. Our server was funny, kind, and very helpful. Immediately took our drink orders, put in our appetizer first, and was very patient with everything we needed. She definitely made the meal so much better. Everyone who worked there was witty, and so sweet. Made me sad I had never been here before. The food was very good, huge portions, and full of flavor. The beef souvlaki plate was out of this world, it came jam packed with so much steak it was insane. The Greek salad had tons of kalamata olives, feta cheese, and yummy peppers. Dressing was great as well. Mozzarella sticks were very yummy and cheesy. Pancakes super big, golden, and fluffy. Combo plate my daughter got came with multiple yummy treats. Potato skins, mozz sticks, and chicken tenders. The burger was nicely done, but my brother said maybe a tad more seasoning to the meat and served with a regular bun would have been better, and that the fries were very crispy, and tasty. All in all it was a very delicious lunch and I cant wait to go back.
Our waitress was Donna and she was absolutely fanominal! She was a blast and made our experience that much more memorable. Their slogan is, Where quality of food and service matters and they lived up to it 100%. We came in the morning for breakfast. I ordered the Chefs special, French toast w/fruit and 3 eggs with potatoes and a side order of biscuits and gravy. Everything was great. No salt needed. The coffee, perfect 👌 Low prices and big portions, you had me at hello Donna!This is a classic, old school diner. They had 70s and 80s music playing. Oh and theyre open 24 hours a day.Will be coming back to check out lunch or dinner.Thanks Donna
Found this little hidden gem in Tampa on a late night stop for food and I am so glad I stopped here. The food was done perfect and couldnt have asked for a better meal they know what theyre doing on that line back there. The staff was awesome and Linda provided great service along with Tara topping off my coffee when Linda was busy. Then when getting ready to leave I watched Tara who was on break start walking around and picking up trash just so the paking lot didnt look trashy. Hands down 1 of the best places you can stop to get some great food and service. I definitely will be back there again.
Weve gone as a group twice now and sit on the patio. We absolutely love our server, Linda! Shes the best and weve had her both visits. We took our pup, Luna, who enjoyed her visit too. Food is always great and I love the 24/7 menu. Who doesnt love pancakes at 10 pm for dinner??? Management should give Linda a raise, and shes so sweet I wish shed adopt me! 😍❤️😁

Staff was friendly and helpful even when there were lots of customers. It was a nice atmosphere and the food was great and low priced as well. Would definitely visit here again.
Excellent breakfast and coffee.I am from Michigan.There were a dozen (top notch) mom and pop diners within a 5 mile radius from where I lived back home.I thought that I would never find one down here until I stumbled upon 3 Coins Diner.They are by far THE best Diner around down here. They know how to cook an egg and their home fries are the very best (just like back home and how my Mom used to make em).I would highly recommend them !
Love coming here. It is an actual diner, run like a diner. There are plenty of options to choose from and also things you can get individually without getting a full meal.Coffee and grits for breakfast? Yes!They have always been a local favorite and Im glad I got to go back recently and remember why I love them so much.Also, open 24/7, so that is a big plus!

Waitresses there are nice and attentive. The food is good. The fact thats it open 24 hours makes it a convenient place to grab breakfast, lunch and dinner items based on your schedule. The thing I will say negative about it is that due to the constant traffic of customers it not the cleanest place at times. The tables sometimes arent wiped down the best. Apparently people eat like pigs from time to time because you can find small bits of food in the stalls in various places.
Three coins is very good place. I have been there a lot of times you get plenty of food for the money you get soup or salad to start off with you get entree and icecream or rice pudding every thing is low price and plenty of food

The Angus Burger was delicious, and the service was awesome. A lot more than I expected from what appears to be a very dated diner, which I guess really gives it some character. Im rarely in that area anymore, but I have a new place to drop by when I am.
Better off going to Salem’s or heater else is open. If not this place is okay
We have been going to Three Coins Diner for many years and love the food!! One of the best plates of pancakes Ive ever had!! The hubby loves the Open Faced Turkey. They serve you heaping amounts of food for the price.... definitely worth the money.

Used to go here 5 years ago and its still the same big portions with incredibly attentive staff to this day. There needs to be more 24 hour food optipns in Tampa but this one holds strong with a giant menu. 3 Coins also has surprisingly good greek food

This has been one of my favorite since the 90s. It is a down home atmosphere and the staff is always attentive and amazing. Sunday morning breakfast spot. They have the best grits & corned beef hash. Thats my go to with cuban toast.
This review is dedicated to the many people who have lived in Tampa Bay for years and have never been to Three Coins Diner! Trust me, it’s not too late...it’s never too late! I’ve lived in Tampa Bay 28yrs. I’ve known about this diner for 28yrs, yet finally had my first visit three weeks ago. I’ve been back once every week since my first visit! Make the drive, take the time to go, please!!! You won’t find a more welcoming restaurant...Liz, Linda and the whole crew will adopt you, I promise!!! The Three Coins Diner team are family now...not because I’ve deemed them such, however, because they address me as family! Go, please go...go and break bread with a family you have yet to meet!!!!
I was a regular morning shift customer for MONTHS while I worked at another place that I wont mention. I would get off at 6:00 am, pick up my husband and go eat a HUGE, quality, fast breakfast. The first time we went, we seriously came back almost every day for the next 2-3 weeks! I went so often, the wonderful servers convinced me to apply for a job here... And I got it!!! I have now been here for about 6 weeks and I love everything about it and (almost) everyone I work with on every shift. The pancakes are what pulled me in and then they had me at their service and friendliness. Now, I can only hope to give as good of service as Monica and Donna in the morning...
The service was outstanding walking though the door. After a hard day period. Work included. Perky Linda was a sweetheart along with her manager liz. Highly recommend. Especially their old fashion fountain strawberry 🍓 ice cream.
Surprisingly good food. Service is extremely slow, but to be expected at any 24 hour diner.The area, dont wear a watch or have a vehicle you care about, the word sketchy is classing up what it really is. The bars surrounding and drunk college kids give you that authentic what the heck was I thinking idea as you sit down and wonder if you will need to check your LoJack on your car when you leave.Overall, I gave it 4 stars because as a 24 hour place, its good food and comfortable seating and service, but lets be honest, its 4 stars with a really.... really... low bar category.
I used to absolutely love this place when I lived in Tampa. I recently moved to Orlando a couple years ago and every time I come back to Tampa I love to come here and get some of my old classic favorites. This time I drove almost 2 hours to come have breakfast here and they were out of almost everything I asked for. They didnt have waffles (apparently the machine was broken) they were out of sausage gravy.. I had to settle for an omelet which I feel I could have just gotten anywhere!
Pretty good but occasionally they over cook My steak and I never get a refund for this and who has time to wait that is the whole point of take out, ppl have to be in work on time but other than that the employees are always kind great and welcoming
A legendary place. Small in size, but huge in food portions. And, it is delicious. Not to mention the staff loves working there. Makes it feel like you are part of their family. A rare find. Highly recommended
The food was great. Definitely diner vibes the staff was friendly. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was due to the amount of flies and gnats flying through. Top notch service tho.

Tha food is great. They r open 24 hrs.... they serve breakfast lunch and dinner however in order to get the breakfast lunch and dinner menu you have to go in after 11 a.m. because before then is only breakfast. The servers gave me that current information.
24 hour DINER, totally Jersey-Style!Eggs the way you order them, toast buttered for you, homemade potatoes AND the dessert pictures pretty much speak for themselves! They taste as good as they look. Not overly sweet, real baked goods!Reasonable prices for the great quality.Donna & Brad completed my 1st, ☆☆☆☆☆ impression with great customer service! Highly recommend & deff will return. Worth my 30 minute ride...AND yours! 😉😉
Service was excellent, but the food was not all that.
They made my breakfast wrap but they didnt have potatoes which were part of it but didnt bother yo tell me they were out. Ceilings leaking when I left. I love greasy spoon diners but there were a few issues.
Amazing experience. From our waitress To the service. All was amazing. I had the home fries 2 eggs scrambled soft and ham. The ham was off the bone and delicious. The eggs were scrambled correctly not overcooked the way I like it. In the home fries!! Are to die for! I am so happy I tried this diner. I will be back again & again. Our waitress was a doll! She was attentive and our food came out piping hot. She passed by our tabled several times to top off our coffee mugs. I definitely recommend this place for nice a affordable breakfast.
Always open most of the food I have had was good. I will pass on the meatloaf in the future. Pancakes and Corned beef hash were very good.

I wish there was a 0 rating. 3 coins used to be a great place to eat but it has went down hill.We came in and was seated, it took 20 min for anyone to acknowledge us. We finally got drinks but no menu. Asked for them and waited and waited....finally a gentleman got a server to help us. She brings our food but no silverware. Never checked back to see if we needed anything. The only that was good was the food.

Came to this diner because of the good reviews. Diner was empty, it was me and 2 friends. We walked in and was told to sit whereever We sat at the corner booth and then was told by another waitress we needed to move because that table was for 4+ people. We moved to the smaller table and it was so small for us I couldnt even move my arms. A waitress was sitting and wrapping forks at the other big corner table... so she could wrap forks but we couldnt sit comfortably and eat. It was so small that our menus were overlapping just to give you an idea. We left before ordering. Horrible customer service.
I ordered Greek chicken on skewers N received almost done cubed chicken. The fries were tasty, but very greasy.
Delicious food..and the give a plate for thre i say..fried chicken and fried fish..the rice pudding was a fabulous suprise..wow and only 20 dollars..the only thing i didnt like was staff didnt wear surgical masks.. friendly staff..loved this dinner.

The only place in town I can get a New York Strip, salad, mashed potatoes, broccoli and ice cream for a flat $15.00..... at 3am on a Tuesday.Its diner food. Its on you if you order eggplant parm or Alfredo. Itll probably give you the runs.
Really enjoyed this place!Our server Dottie was so friendly and nice. The food came out way faster than expected and was hot, fresh, and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised at the Joffreys coffee on order and appreciated them accommodating my request for milk instead of the table tops creamers.We took advantage of the breakfast platter specials. My husband did the hungry man, and I did the cafe platter. We were both fully satisfied with our meals, I couldnt quite finish my pancakes.Whole heartedly recommend this place. Its a great low key diner with yummy breakfast fare.

I have heard so many wonderful things about this place. We finally pulled the trigger and dropped by late night a few weeks ago. First visit was phenomenal! Second visit some how beat that and then this third visit, it was like we were at home. Staff is not only kind and knowledgeable but just a a freaking dayum delight. The food is perfect.... and the hot chocolate with whipped cream is my new obsession.We can not wait for our next visit!

I love this place for Saturday or Sunday morning breakfast. Its open 24 hours which is nice, and they serve food for all meals of the day. They also have a bigger selection than what you would think. They have American, Italian, Greek, a little bit of everything. The food is good, and they are fast getting the food to you. The only cons are its small and seating can be full at times like Sunday around church time, and the bathroom is for one person at a time and not the cleanest. But, still an awesome place overall and the price is good. About $25 for two people.
The food is always fantastic when Ive gone. The server was attentive and very nice even though she was there past her scheduled time. Pretty sure the manager was walking around making sure everyone was okay too. Good service and good food.

I honestly love this place.. I use to eat here a lot but one major issue for me is, THEY NEVER HAVE COUNTRY GRAVY!!! 24 hour diner, great food, great staff but as long as they dont serve that gravy, I wont be back..
