Terrible experience! They sold me some very dry chicken shawarma. I went back to complain and they said too bad! I wanted to get a discount or exchange because I wasted my money! They were expensive and not good. They said that depends on taste and it’s not their problem. Incredibly rude. If I could give them zero I would as their customer service skills are appalling!They asked why I didn’t call sooner. I bought them on Thursday and came back Saturday as soon as I could. Obviously I have other things going on in my life than to come back immediately and complain about your dry chicken. You’d be better off going somewhere else. Don’t waste your time or money. There are many other markets with better customer service and food.

I love this market. Everything I need to restock my pantry is here. Canned food, spices, dairy, fresh bread, frozen, and ready made ready to eat. Always have to buy enough so theres some left over after the hour drive home!

Was their customer since they opened years ago. Mostly shopped meats from here. Unfortunately, we stop going here primarily due to bad customer service from the father and son team that owner has working here at the meat counter. They both -F&S - are full of resentment against certain folks and doing dis-service to business. During our last visit the son at meat counter refused to make ground meat for us saying shipment came last night and hes not doing meat until 3pm (this guy was literally standing there and watching videos on his phone while fetching paycheck from the owner). He also refused to sell me meat from the display saying you wont like this. Really? Note to owner: please show up at your store often youre loosing business without you knowing. Please make adjustments accordingly at your meat counter so wont continue to loose old/loyal customers like us. We took our business to Fowler and Cross Creek etc. Hope you heed this advise and look into this matter!

Best lamb, chicken and beef in New Tampa. The meat is butchered on site. It is fresh with little fat. I cooked 1.5 pounds of ground beef and it produced less than a tablespoon of fat. I highly recommend the Moroccan lamb sausage. Cook in a hot non-stick pan just enough to brown it and enjoy a mouthwatering spicy treat!

Been at this store multiple times trying to give it a second chance. Was not impressed with the quality of products. Everything we purchased was expired. For example, kvas we bought in 2021 was manufactured in 2018 and was good till 2019. We didnt realize it until we open the bottle - there was no gas inside the bottle. Pockets with spices were also expired. Pickled turnips were bad upon opening - colorless and very soft - sure enough that can was also expired. Needless to say we wont be coming back and I recommend to check expiration dates before purchasing anything at this store!

Clean market (not big) where you can find some important products and freshly baked foods. They take pride on their fresh meat and the people there are respectful and professional.

We have been regularly buying halal meat here since we moved to the area. This weekend for the first time we purchased some whole chicken cut up. After a few hours in the fridge I opened it up and realized it was rotten. It smelled like horrible eggs and vinegar. We took photos of the chicken and our receipt and called the store. They said the butcher wasn’t there and we should call today. We spoke with the butcher and he said after 2 hours it is no longer their problem and that they wouldn’t refund us or do an exchange. He claimed that even Publix wouldn’t refund for a rotten chicken but we all know that’s completely untrue. I’ve also been regularly shopping at Publix, Walmart and Whole Foods and I have never had a problem with returns even if many days have passed. Of course these things happen occasionally when buying meat but if this store wants to keep loyal customers coming back, they have to take responsibility for poor quality meat and make it right. We will never go back and I would caution others if they want to visit. Basically if you buy meat that is already spoiling and you don’t happen to notice it AND return it within two hours, you will be out a lot of time and money. Try somewhere else :)

Really disappointing. I have wanted to come here for a very long while but i don’t know if it’s because it is a Tuesday but there were no meat pies or any pies at all. Or any Tabouli which is why I came out for. I’m really upset.

This market was quite a drive from South Tampa, but worth the drive. I had called in advance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had plenty of the special soap I wanted to purchase. I highly recommend.

This spot is my husband’s favorite! We go for their authentic and delicious bakery items. The baker and his assistant are so friendly and kind; they treat us like family! I love going because we get to enjoy the bakery items and shop within the market as well. They also offer European chocolates which are usually hard to find. This market is also in a great location!

Love this place,great Mediterranean foods and you can get chocolate and candy bars that are very rare in America as they are only made in Europe.

Love the pastries very delicious. They have everything that I am personally looking for when making Middle Eastern food. I also like their cheese, zaatar, meat and spinach pies! Super friendly people and honest! Once I overpaid in error and the owner came running outside to find me in the car and give me back my money hard to find honest people these days.

Freshest meat and poultry anywhere in Tampa that Ive found. Bakery has fresh made Arabic pies of many varieties.

I wish I could say I like this place as its close to where I live. However, there are better priced and more varied places in town. Their Mediterranean assortment is really reduced to products from the Arab world. I dont have a problem with them but I have not seen anything Italian, Greek, etc. That makes their title deceiving.

Fabulous. They have a bakery making breads and have an incredible selection of products from around the Mediterranean.

They have a very great pastry in the morning. the pastry deserves 5 stars but for the market itself its missing a lot of items and its 15 to 25% more expensive than any other Mediterranean market in TampaUPDATE***Down from 3 to 2 stars. Went last weekend to have pastry but the pastry quality went down not worth the price now. I would eat it if its half the price its sold now.

One of Tampas local secrets, they have a nice selection of import wares including gernan chocolate, kosher, and halal as well as some of the usual items carried as ethnic by the big stores (and a few not carried by the big stores).Staff is friendly and store is clean and well-lit.

So glad we now have a Mediterranean grocery/food store in New Tampa! Went for the first time and am glad to say i plan on being a regular customer. The service was great and it had everything i was looking for. I also loved the bakery that sold me all types of delicious food/breads and the butcher shops meats tasted great.

The freshly baked breads and pies are delicious! They also sell them frozen. Everyone very pleasant and friendly.

I entered the store thinking this would be an opportunity for me to see new eats and possibly experience something different. There was beef cut up on the counter behind the meats it was left unattended nothing covered it, the guy was outside having a cigarette, it was despicable how the meat was left out on the table.It was especially shocking to my friend Sara who purposely wanted to go in there because it was a Halal market. There was blood on the bottom of a chicken package. When asked why this was his comment was that it was shipped frozen. No excuses.This is a big health department code issue and someone needs to do their due diligence in either re-inspecting this place or give it a low rating due to unexplained practices.

Great atmosphere and environment! They have everything you would look for in a Mediterranean store. They have a great butchery with the freshest and cleanest quality of HALAL meats and chicken🍗🍗🍖🍖! They just opened their bakery and its the best Mediterranean pies I have ever had from chicken, zaatar, cheese, and spinach.😋😋Definitely would recommend to everyone 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

I love this place. I stop in the morning twice a week to pick up a quick breakfast snack or brunch. Their baked goods and varieties are awesome. Very well stocked store with excellent staff and excellent customer service . Keep up the good work. The chicken shawarma is sooo delicious.

Love the spinach and fresh bread here. They can be expensive so try out their frozen stock (frozen the same day as baked and sold at BOGO 50%). I sometimes buy canned chickpea or tahini if I cant go to Walmart. Havent tried anything other grocery items yet.
