This store may be busy but its worth waiting for the best Cuban sandwich in Tampa

They are high on meat prices and most of their meat is dry and stinky they only take care of they own people first and the workers at the registers are rude as hell they’ll hold full conversation with each other and with other people across the registers from them and ignore their customers who are trying to check out they are a bunch of of chismosas that are on the clock to chat, laugh and ki-ki-ki. They don’t follow the social distancing rules at all the store is so small as it is and everyone is cluttered at the registers waiting to be serviced but only can’t cause the employees are always running their mouths without a mask they may get a visit from the health department very soon. Aliana Meat Market on N 22nd st is better in my opinion with prices and clean meat plus the added bonus is that the employees actually work.

Place is pretty decent! Great fresh made Cuban bread! And all the hat to find Latin thing you may need.Now the food vendor outside, don’t think he’s associated. DO NOT BUY THE FOOD THERE! He touched the front of his MASK! BLEW HIS NOSE, THE ANSWERED HIS PHONE TO THEN TOUCH FOOD!!!! ALL WHILE WEARING THE SAME GLOVES!!!!🤮🤮🤮

Called and asked if they had fresh flour tortillas - oh yes we have them. As it turns out they did not they only have corn. What a waste of my time. They should LISTEN to people not just assume.

I have been coming to this market for 3 yrs now and am impressed with their services. Staff is always great. There are always a variety of goods at fair prices. Cant go anywhere else for my shopping!

I have been going to this store for several yearsTo buy sandwiches for our family. Things use to be great. However I went on 9.7.19 to purchase a sandwich, the lady behind the counter took my order repeated everything I told her I wanted on my sandwich and didnt even make the food. I had been standing there waiting for several minutes, people had come and gone she was slicing meat. Another lady came to the counter and I said Im waiting on a Cuban. She proceeded to make the sandwich and kept apologizing for the person that just left me hanging. I said a prayer and still bought the sandwich. Its gotta to be the Florida heat thats causing people to be disrespectful. I guess they dont care if you buy a Cuban or not, guess thats the meaning of being Bougie!! Or we dont need your $4 dollars take it somewhere else. Thanks to the lady who made my sandwich and apologized for the ugly behavior of her co-workers.

Went to this place today for a sandwich and nobody at the deli was wearing a mask the correct way nose and mouth exposed And also no social distance ! Walked out of the place, sorry but not sorry 🙄

Just went to get 3 Cuban sandwiches, lady behind the counter, was disrespectful, rude. Our sandwiches were not how we wanted them. Our family goes there weekly, not anymore. The lady that just got behind the counter about 345 was very nice. The other 3 need customer service skills. Saturday Feb 2nd about 330 p.m.

Every time I come here the girls in the register are extremely rude... no customer service whatsoever !!!! They do not respond when you say -hello- and they don’t even tell you the total of how much money you have spent !Maybe they need to stop worrying about their long unhygienic nails... the job is not that hard they should hired better people or train these girls properly.My family will not come back here again ....

I have been coming to this market for 10 yrs now. Ive tried other markets closer to where I live and their service is terrible. Latin American supermarket is great and their employees are friendly, honestly. I have to travel 20 miles just to get my meat but its worth it.

I can definitely find anything I need when Im catering for an event here. But these girls at the registers have to go There rude. There more focused on there nails and dont ever want to grab anything wet as far meats or frozen products. I am asked to pick up my products and place them in the bags because they dont want to get there hands wet.There is one girl at the register that looks like bruce Springsteen and her additude is just out of line unprofessional.Then theres another girl in the deli that looks like a linebacker, her additude is insanely ridiculous. This isnt the first time with these young girls being unprofessional. It just needs to change. Its come to a point that its not worth my time to go thru additude to make ur business money.I shop here all the time and I spend quite a bit much $$$ but this market has to step up on there customer service and a new front line staff.

Not all the staff speak good english, for those who love latin food but are not fluid in espanoel it kind of hinders you. Worth the trouble though.

If you are not Latino, dont expect to be served with a smile. And dont expect to use a credit card. They dont accept charges below $5. I was always under the impression that the credit card agreement specifically forbid setting a minimum purchase amount. If it does, they obviously disregard it. If not, they are cheap.

I visited this store with my husband and he felt and I just as uncomfortable seeing a cashier speak and act so confidently with him. We both feel very bad. I am a serious person and I have been working with customer service for years. And it is one thing to be kind and respectful to clients and another thing to speak with the client with love and with such confidence. It looks horrible that the cashiers treat customers with such confidence AND that they do not respect and do not take care of their way of being and speaking to customers.

A friend of mine had a bad experience with an employee named Bibian for a claim she made and I treat him rudely, its not worth going to this store with that treatment

Every time I go to the area where they sell the bread, the women they serve are extremely rude, if you arrive first and ask for something they ignore you and if Cuban men come they make you wait and attend them first there is a lot of preference to attend to them they feel like on the other hand in front one of the best people is always lived with a good morning very friendly
