We wanted to check out the other oriental markets in the area and chose Kim Bros to roam. Staff was very, very nice. You are welcomed with an aisle of noodles and chips. They have some pretty unique chips but it was quite expensive, $5 a bag. They have the same selection as the other oriental stores such as meat, cookware, noodles, etc. The only thing that was a treat was their fish cake. It was delicious and worth the money!The place does get a bit cramped so just be ready to share the aisle with other shoppers. This place does price their items a little bit more expensive than the other oriental markets. We would probably return for just the fishcakes.

Great place to shop for Asian food and groceries. Plesent people you can find things there that alot places might not have.

If I could give this store zero stars I honestly would. It was my first experience and last experience coming to this store and I was greeted with rude looks from the cashier because of this I was very uncomfortable shopping as a business owner myself I find it important to treat customers with kindness I mean they are paying me after all! The products at this store is very overpriced and the store is very unclean. After doing research of Korean stores around I found MD oriental market has WAY better prices and the cashiers don’t go out their way to make customers feel unwanted. After reading many other reviews I find I am not the only person who had to deal with such poor customer service. To whoever’s the owner please tell your employees to clean up their act wow.

I just discovered this hidden gem a couple of weeks ago while we were out shopping for furniture. I’m really glad we have something like this in Tampa because they are very well stocked for a small Korean grocery store.They have all of your basics for Korean seasoning, sauces, powders, as well as snacks and frozen foods.One thing that really surprised me was that they have a refrigerated section in the front right before you checkout with all sorts of homemade banchans (side dishes) as well as bibimbap kits! We had to grab some because we couldn’t find them anywhere ready-to-eat bibimbap kits besides Lotte Market in Orlando.Also, make sure to go on the weekend because they have hot ready to eat foods at the checkout counter! We got some freshly made kimchi buns and they were still warm to the touch when we got home! They also have homemade mochis too.They are definitely worth checking out!

Hands down best Korean mart around without having to drive all the way to Orlando. My wife is from South Korea and she is always looking for what she considers comfort food. They have a wide selection of the required ingredients and they are very polite and helpful. Just wish they were here in New Port Richey.

This is the best Korean store in Tampa. They have just about everything you can think of. I haven’t found any other store that has a great variety like this one.

This place has a bit of everything Korean. It is a must place to go to shop for all the ingredients for cooking Korean cuisine. I also enjoy their ready made food such as Korean rice cake. I also bought a few pairs of indoor out door slippers from them. I always walk around to see what little cute Korean items are being sold there and have fun finding some new things for my kitchen.

Best Asian store we think that is close to South Tampa. The young woman (owner?) behind the counter is super knowledgeable and tells it like it is on which item is good and worth the extra cost.

My friend and I went to their store. She bought black soybean powder. She open one bag and saw dead black bugs inside the bag and more and they are undividual bags. Pretty grose!. Heads up.. Please do not buy this. If you going to buy please mention the owner and pull out of the shelf. They should not reorder it!!! This is my seond time going to their store with my friend. I for sure would not buy this black soybean powder again!

Love this place!! They have so much variety of Korean food, alcohol, and household products. If your lucky you can pick up freshly made tteokbokki and even japchae

Hands down this is the best Korean grocer in the Tampa Bay area. Thats coming from someone who spent a summer in South Korea and is married to a Korean woman. I lived in Queens, NY for over a decade before moving to Florida.The staff are friendly and helpful and they have an excellent selection of products. They have a wide array of very authentic kimchi (when you first enter the store, turn right, it will be on your right.) They also have a decent selection of Korean side dishes (from the entrance, turn left, you will see them on the left and in front of you.)Around important Korean holidays (such as New Years) they have high quality homemade traditional staples like dduk guk (small rice cakes typically eaten in the New Years soup.)This place has been a lifesaver for me; if you are looking for authentic Korean ingredients in the Tampa Bay area, I do not know of a better source.

They didnt have everything I was looking for. However, I found some treats that I wasnt looking for. The young man ordering the register was warm and friendly. He laughed WITH me when I needed him to read some of the packaging that was written only in Korean. Its always a pleasure to shop here. It is a bit dirty in some areas, but to be fair, it is an older store.

The owner is super nice and theyre always stocked with delicious kimchi!

Reminds me of the local grocery I shopped at while teaching in Daegu, SK. Staff was very nice. Theyve got pretty much everything you could think of if youre looking for Korean ingredients, snacks, produce, or alcohol. Grabbed everything I was missing to make some proper kimchi and samgyeopsal at home. Definitely a cool find and will be back plenty while living in Tampa!

I can buy kimchee 5 miles from my home, and from many other stores within my own city( Sarasota). We drive over an hour in grueling highway traffic to buy kimchee here. It is the best kimchee I have ever had, and I have had a lot, to put it mildly. The radish version is simply outstanding. The family that owns this store is lovely to do business with. They packed up my order for me to pick up outside last time, despite having a small staff (comprised of family members). I feel good about supporting this business. I have for years. It has been worth every awful trip to shop in this spotless store with delicious healthy food and kind helpful proprietors.

Has all my favorite korean grocery items. Im surprised this place has a good amount of japanese items too hidden in the mix. Also if you like chesnuts and see a chestnut cake on the counter when youre about to pay grab it! Best decision Ive ever made. Cheap black garlic and great selections for Tteok-bokki. Different kinds of rice cakes available in freezer section.

The Best place for Korean Grocery store. Besides regular grocery items, they carry ready to eat light snacks and many side dishes. Fresh vegetables, some imported goods like acupuncture needles. The shop is really clean, well organised and the owner is very friendly. The store offers discounts on certain things.

Decided to stop in & browse the isles as I enjoy going off the beaten path & trying something new... This place had a plethora of Oriental foods & snack items BUT is in desperate need of an extreme deep cleaning.Upon entering I wasnt greeted with a cheerful welcome, instead my nostrils were assaulted by the most foul stentch & knew I wouldnt be making a purchase: many items on the shelves were dusty; the floors look as if they havent been cleaned in ages, there was a lot of stock piled up still in boxes & sadly I was further disappointed by an employee who seemed extremely perturbed by me trying to ask a question since she was busy watching TV...Hopefully this place will go under New Management who are compelled to give it an overhaul from top to bottom & everything inbetween.

This is BEST Korean market in town. They make their own food as well, and they are tasty!! They also carries powders that benefits health as well.

Much cleaner and ginger was fresh... compared to other Asian markets Ive been to.

I like the variety they have especially the large selection of rice types. Prices are too high for many of the products and all the fresh vegetables.

I felt so happy going in and seeing all the ingridients that i needed to make kimchi. I was also happy to see that they already sell pre made Kimchi which i will definately stop by tomorrow to get some.

The owner and family are not nice. When we returned the items, he insulted us by talking Korean to their family member. Other families and ours have been buying in this place for many years. But instead of listening to the customer for their bad Kim Chi products. They are arguing to the customer, and bad attitude to return the money to us when we return the products. The true character of bad manner for this place make me and families will never comeback to this place. There are other Korean Store, which is cheaper. This store is selling products more expensive than others. We may never comeback to this place again.
