The only place our Subalou likes to go for service. Our adult daughter bought a rebuilt Suby from Cullen, zero issues in the four years since. Cullen is the Subaru whisperer of Taos.

If I lived in Albuquerque, I would drive to Taos just to have Cullin work in my Subaru. He consistently continues to go above and beyond with his customer service. I could not be any more impressed with his mechanic ability, knowledge or customer service. He is second to none!!

Cullen helped me with multiple issues with my 2003 Subaru Outback. He knows Subarus (seemingly every make and model) like the back of his hand, has very reasonable rates, and is a good and kind person. You can’t do better when it comes to a mechanic!

2003 outback..Did great work on timing belt. Great turn around.. five starsBut did not want to mess with anything else i wanted worked on though,brakes,suspension ect..l,so took it to Sparkys all the way down in ABQ to finish the work i needed. If you drive an older Subaru before 2010 this isnt the place for you..

Cullen is a competent, extremely knowledgeable mechanic about Subarus, and, as importantly, a great guy. He really helped me out where other mechanics either had no clue, or tried to take advantage (Subaru of Santa Fe). Highly recommend.

I am SO happy with my experience here! Cullen is a great mechanic, very trustworthy and cares a lot about his clients. I was new to the area and my Outback had an oil leak. I had no idea where to go, and after some googling I called Taos Suby Garage just because of the name! Cullen called me back on a Sunday, got me in as soon as he could to inspect my car, and communicated with me everything that I needed to know. He doesnt charge more than he needs to, is very honest and does great work. Thanks so much, Cullen!

Cullen is a great mechanic and doesnt blow smoke. He will recommend and buy after market parts when appropriate. If he feels a particular part should be from Subaru he tells you. While his shop rate has gone up recently it is still far lower than the dealership rates.

My Wife & I purchased a used 2015 Outback. Taos Suby Garage was recommended to us by a local Taos resident. We took our Subaru to Cullen for 60K service, as well as horn repair. Cullen REALY KNOWS Subarus, and does Quality Work at Reasonable Prices. We Highly Recommend Taos Suby Garage. :) :)

Cullen communicates well, helps us schedule our costs and does the repairs as well as the dealership at 1/2 the cost. Its great that you can shake his hand out playing music as well as hes a great part of the Taos community and makes driving a Subaru even greater.

Colin was really welcoming and warm. He acknowledged me as soon as I walked in the door even though he was with another customer. Helped me diagnose my issue and was very transparent about what could be causing it. Highly recommended!

After breaking down outside of Taos, Cullen got our car repaired and ready to go within hours of it being towed to the shop. What could have been a long exhausting ordeal of having to fly or rent a car to get home was ultimately relatively painless. We really appreciate his honesty and thoroughness, since going in it was assumed that we needed a new transmission. Instead, a much simpler set of fixes did the trick and saved a lot of time and money.

My 99 Outback blew a head gasket on the way tot he Ski Valley. I had it towed to Cullens garage. He has been honest, has great communication, and his rates are very fair. I have had a lot older cars with issues, and Cullen is far and away the best mechanic I have done business with.
