I’m a metal fabricator I know nothing about cement steps……they shared expert advice loaded my supplies and were beyond kind…..project came out great thanks to them

It would be 5 stars based off of our experience through having gravel delivered. Unfortunately when I walked in to make an order in person, I was hit in the face with cigarette smoke. They are clearly smoking inside, and in such a small space..gross. Youre going to lose a lot of customers this way. If i hadnt ordered from you already before and that was my first impression in the store i would take my business elsewhere. Think about people who are allergic or sensitive for other reasons. Personally I get migraines, and I know others who would be deterred immediately as well. An easy fix to become a better business.Other than this our deliveries have been prompt and driver has been kind.

I pulled up right to the spot that I needed to load up and it was quick and easy to pay and leave.

My husband and I went to this establishment today to purchase replacement masonry bricks. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. We were unable to bring a brick with us but, we did have a picture. They took the time to look at the picture and determine which bricks would be the closest match. The gentleman took his time with us and was very pleasant and offered suggestions to help us with our project. The ladies working behind the counter were also pleasant and helpful. There were other customers coming and going while we were there and from what I could see everyone was assisted in a timely manor and received great service. They had a great selection of bricks to choose from and the price was reasonable.

Jenn at the desk knows her stuff, she always has a answer to your question. They are always fast and courteous (even when they are busy) I just wish they were open later on Saturdays.

I had almost forgotten this place and when pricing pea gravel from the other 2 now 3 hardware stores, you cant beat Taylor Building Supply. The prices are great, the hours are workable too. They even helped me load the items in my truck. Very friendly and considerate. I personally would rather shop here than the other 3 big name places for all my building supplies. Thank you, you made my day and you saved me money on both the product I needed, and fuel, not having to drive all over town looking for the best prices. Located in the City of Taylor on Van Born Rd, just west of Telegraph, North of I-94. No pun intended, but you guys ROCK!

The lady on the front desk has a very bad attitude, they sold me bad item and she refuses to return it, she thinks I came back for the $50, I told her its not about the $50 dollars its about whats right, I left her the item and the money, I will never go there again, now im using Redford building supply, its better and cheaper and nicer workers
