We purchased a vehicle here three days ago. It was pretty much the best used car experience I have had. He was honest and fair with us. We had noticed some issues with the vehicle we wanted. Most places wont address any problems but he did without any problem. We will do business with him again.

Ben treated me good. He has a pretty laid back, no pressure approach to selling vehicles. I myself prefer that over the larger dealerships. I had to slap Ben around a little bit, ha!..... but in the end, his word stands true. Id go back if I was looking again. You should check him out.

I wanna start off by saying how much I LOVE MY CAR! Ben was so helpful and was very straight forward. I told him from the get go my problems and he did everything he could to help me get into the car. I had been looking for a while for the Turbo model with other particular things I wanted from the car and luckily I ran across his Facebook post. From day one Ben kept great communication I feel if your upfront with anyone in any situation they will be upfront with you and that he was. One of the few times we spoke he mentioned a handful of people were interested in the car that if I put a $250 deposit down he would hold it for a certain amount of time. Point is I love my Veloster and I love that Ben did such an amazing job helping me and guiding me for my future plans.

I’m uploading my review after having plenty of time to enjoy my car! I bought a 2007 Kia Sportage with about 140k miles from Ben in February of 2020! I haven’t had a single problem out of the car and I love it so much. I have felt safe in this car, and it’s extremely reliable! I’ve driven it back and forth from NC, TN, and SC. I haven’t had a single situation where I thought this car wouldn’t make it. I hope it last forever. It’s my favorite little car!

I will admit I was afraid of buying a car because I had a firm budget. There was no wiggle room at all. Im here to tell you that Ben was amazing. Get everything in writing! Prior to buying a truck from here I took it to my mechanic to get it looked at they told me the ac wasnt working but theyd need to do some further diagnostics to find out why, I returned to the lot and explained this to the dealer I was planning on asking for a reduced price and fixing it myself, but the dealer said Ill commit to fixing the AC whatever it takes upon hearing this I offered $5000 in cash (they were asking $5300 so it seemed a fair offer to me) he agreed saying that theyd look at the AC and as long as it didnt have anything crazy wrong with it $5000 would be fine. I returned the next day and the AC was working so I payed for the truck and left satisfied. Less than a week later the AC quit again, I wasnt worried though because he seemed like an honest guy and hes committed to fixing it, after dropping the Truck off I received a text saying it needed a new compressor and Id need to pay $200 for my portion of the repairs, I was not expecting this given his prior commitment. If hed have done diagnostics on the truck prior to sale to discover the true cause of the AC problem he wouldnt have agreed to $5000 and I wouldnt have paid anymore than that. I wouldnt have even bought it. I was willing to pay $5000 not $5200 not $5100, $5000 for a truck with working AC. Unfortunately I still wound up paying $100 for the service and will not be returning to this dealer again. And within a week of getting the truck back the AC quit again, Ill be taking it to my own mechanics and dealing with the problems myself. DO NOT LET THE DEALER DO REPAIRS ON YOUR VEHICLE.

I bought the car on a Saturday. Had plenty of time to go ahead to test drive a 2012 Dodge Avenger that Ben was selling. Not only was he kind, but he was very helpful and honest with the salvage history of the vehicle, and how it ran. The key not being in great shape, Ben offered to help out get a new one at his shop (when I get back from vacation).Coming from Europe, I had no clue on how to register a car in the USA. He was very helpful in taking me through the legal steps at the dealership to getting the car on the road. Purchased two used vehicles from Ben Bowers at UpCountry vehicles five months ago. Warning: get any potential purchase checked out by a mechanic or two. I just replaced a water pump & starter in the 2006 Cadillac, ($834) which is understandable but the very next day, the transmission went out. The other car has transmission and electrical issues as well. I ended up losing a lot of cash for these cars and will never recommend buying from country...it should be DownCountry junk cars..

Be careful! Make sure you get car checked by a mechanic like I should have before purchasing. In the 8 weeks since purchasing I have had to replace the fuel sensor, fuel rail, front headlight unit, upper radiator hose, serpentine belt, alternator belt & tensioner, brake booster, brakes, and front struts. I wonder whats next!

I love my new Volkswagen Jetta GLI! Having had some issues with shady used car places in the past, this was a very pleasant experience. No BS he was straight up about his cars. Ben Bower is not that honest of a person. My fiance and I bought a vehicle from him and that was almost 3 months ago and weve still not received the title. Was told that the title would come back in our names, however now were being told that it will not come back in our names. Hes told so many different stories to our face and in emails, he just isnt that trust worthy of a car dealer. Plus its taken almost 3 months to even get the title; which by the way I still havent received to this day. Just all around a horrible experience dealing with place and Ben Bower.
