I am very pleased to see that this place which occupies this corner lot in the busy area around Arizona State University main campus is still up and swinging. At Coffee & Bagels you will get...... gosh I know I am going to get trolled for saying this.... a place that really reminds me of Brugers Bagels in terms of how it is laid out and the overall feel. This place is unique and charming and you all should go check it out.

I like this branch because of two things, its location and before that its staff. Greg and Ceanna are awesome. They are welcoming and taking care of the customer very well. Happy dealing with you.

If youre luck enough to go here when Haydn is on duty, then you are totally set! Haydn is one of the very finest examples of awesome customer service that I have ever witnessed. Polite, caring, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, humorous, fun, delightful - - - all of this and more from Haydn. Plus the everything bagel was really delicious! If youre in the mood for a really good bagel and want to be treated right, this is where you should go.

Awesome coffee compared to other merchandise, especially vanilla Hazelnut, it maintains its authentic smell (around 2.5$ for medium). One should definitely taste it. Although, bagels and other bf options not good enough for breakfast as quantity is very limited. My answer is based on subjective opinion that one should do heavy breakfast in morning for healthy diet.

It was great! We enjoyed donuts in the outside under the cool water mist dispersers. Actually, thats not what happened. We came in to stay for a while while we waited. It was still great though, as they were open and willing to let us stay. I enjoyed it. C=

The gentleman that helped me was engaging and funny. We ralked about spinach and Popeye. ;) Its always nice to walk in a place and have friendly service! And of course, the Bros of Einstein always have consistently delicious coffee and bagels. I got the spinach mushroom swiss egg sandwich on ancient grains. Its fabulous darlings!

Honestly bagels are 5 stars. Got the strawberry and banana smoothie and it tastes like it was made by soaking strawberry and banana laffy taffy in water for a week then blending them together with ice. Furthest thing from fruit Ive ever tasted. Caribou coffee gives Einsteins a bad image

First time here, seems like a friendly place. We had a meeting with a bunch of friends, and it was productive. Saw other people studying. Food was good.

Very good bagels! The location was difficult to find though. I did a few circles before I spotted a sign in the distance. Friendly staff. It is a bit tight walking in. If there are others in line, it will be difficult to get past them unless you use a different entrance.

Love this place!!! They bagels and coffee cake are always fresh. I never like coffee but they offered suggestions different kinds to see what I like, they even offered me to make another one If I didnt like it. Staff is always helpful and always have a smile on, no matter what time of day. Big shout out to Zena for helping me!

Einsteins simply has the best bagels in the valley. This place is a bagel shop first, a coffee shop second. Not to imply that their coffee is bad though - they serve good lattes, frappes and hot/iced coffees. Friendly and fast service with lots of seating. Highly recommended!

I have been coming here a few times a week to get some work done before I head in to work. No interruptions here! This place combines the best of Caribou Coffee and Einstein Bros. Bagels. I love the iced lattes with skim milk. Not too milky--good strong espresso. Bagel sandwiches are tasty. For a change try peanut butter on your bagel.The atmosphere is very pleasant, the music good without being intrusive. Theres a cozy nook in front of the fireplace for chilly mornings and plenty of tables for two of four. Im not the only person here studying and writing. Plus there is a Pokéstop if that is where your interests lie.

We were at the Tempe, AZ location Sunday, 5/14/17, and received awful experience from the untidy, frankly probably hungover, snobby college girls working the mid-morning shift.The gal taking our orders was not helpful in answering questions and generally just seemed annoyed that we had come in to order bagels and coffee. (We were the only ones in line and, I mean, is it really that hard to toast a bagel?) After receiving cold service from her, we waited for our order. The coffee order came out first and I noticed that I may not have received what I ordered. I asked the gal who had given us our bagels if she could confirm whether not this is what I ordered, and I received an eye roll and a cold “I don’t do coffee.” Then she walked away. The girl who DID do coffee was very friendly and helpful once we waited to ask her. I dont mind waiting for an expert to help me with my question, but I do mind the snobby response I got just for asking a question. As someone new to that location, how was I supposed to know who does and does not do coffee? They are all behind the counter in the same spot.Long story short, if I want to pay for average tasting, overpriced bagels and coffee, I will do it at a location where they hire adults and not gossipy, bratty, hungover college kids.

I LOVE CARIBOU COFFEE! Im from Minnesota and when this opened up I lost my mind I was so excited. They have great espresso, and the best chocolate Ive ever had in a coffee drink. There is nothing on the menu I would not recommend. Ask the baristas what they make for themselves if you want to try something interesting for sure. The vibes in there are very log cabin/ serenity, so if thats your thing youll have a good time.

Delicious Carabu coffee and Einstein Bagle. Relaxing atmosphere with seats next to the fire readily available, even in the chill of the morning. Most of the seats were secluded enough to get any digital work done yet still close enough for low key conversations.

Happy with service. Got to order right. No attitude no issues. Smooth operation with morning staff..

I like to judge a coffee shop based on a cup of black coffee. Dark roast. Needless to say it was an excellent cup of coffee and I will try this place again some day. The bagels looked delicious so might have to try one of those sometime.

I really like this place, the baristas and the owners are very friendly and they always make my coffee exactly the way I want, which is a bit complicated. I also like how there is always a nice light there, mostly due to the windows going to the west and afternoon sunlight being filtered through the curtains. And when I want a break from my writing or drawing, I can always watch some funny ancient shows on their TV :)

Entire store was extremely hot, like mid-80s or higher. This location for no apparent reason has no soda fountain, despite having ample room for one. Also, at least on the day we came it, it was filled to the brim with baby Boomers and soccer moms that made the entirely place loud and unpleasant as they slowed down the line asking stupid questions and yelling at staff. Overall, great food and people but a series of poor circumstances and corporate choices make this a bad location.

Come here somewhat frequently and theyre always quick and easy, redone a few years ago too.

Was given two incorrect bagels and was told to BRING THEM BACK to get the right ones. What kind of service is this ? Its their error and I have to drive BACK to get it right. Wow GREAT JOB Einsteins, keep up the good work. 😑

Its a decent coffee shop but the employees here take forever making the order. Even if its packed they are too slow.

My experience was quite pleasant. I didnt feel like the employees were rushing to complete orders and they all seem to be in a vary good mode. I know im not 100% in the morning, hence why i needed my coffee fix. I would definitely come back.

Went here Sunday morning 4.24.2016 and the cashier was less than pleasant. Didnt want to be there, and her attitude showed it. Its an Einsteins, not much you can say about it. Im not a huge fan of their bagels.

We love Caribou coffee. It was our fav back in Iowa but whats up with closing at 5 pm ? Seems too early.

Well alrighty, Im from Texas, and was visiting Arizona, I was looking for a bite for breaksfast, and I found myself at this place, right when I walked through the door I noticed the up tempo vibes coming from the red head girl at the Register, I ordered a farmhouse bagel, it was spectacular, the customer service was extremely well, she had a go, fight, win attitude and a great smile... I strongly recommend this for your next breakfast

If you go in the morning, you will get some of the best bagels ever. Also if you go early try the chilli bagel, it is out of the world

Really nice place, situated at a decently busy intersection, but not at all inaccessible. important thing to note is that the hours vary based on college season, sometimes due to that this location may close earlier than usual during the schools-out months.

The only knock I can make on the place is how stupid the register/ordering works. ANY other system would promote faster service. But ALL Einsteins have this stupid slow two computer system.

I go here for breakfast all the time. Great bagels and friendly people.

They will take forever, serve you the wrong food, and make sure the hummus is ice cold. I have been here 3 times and each time was a disappointment

The slicer is broken or something it didnt slice evenly or even close to most of the way through any of the bagels in the box. i asked to make sure there was at least one garlic and one cheese in the box. I got no cheese and only one garlic and 8 plain. Not what anyone would call an assortment.

There doors were open but everyone was sitting on the floor and chairs and saying there arent open and wont be for a few days.. Then put a sign or something or better yet lock your doors!!!!

Its probably one of the dirtiest restaurants in Tempe. Obviously management does not care.

Closed on 20 Aug 2015, the first day of school at ASU. Smart move mgmt, a lot of revenue was lost today.

Good customer service, good coffee and a good place for some bagels and shmear! It is a little cramped, and during rush hours it gets too loud to really read or do homework.

This morning was the fourth time in a row over the last two months Ive come to this location at about 7am and they are sold out of some varieties (like the pretzel/salt bagel). How does a national chain bagel shop sell out by 7am of anything?
