If I could give this company no stars I would. I was directed to this site by my childs school to purchase the books he would need for the semester. I purchased the books at the beginning of August 2013, everything seemed fine. School about to start and no books, no codes, and no one to answer the phone. I had to re-purchase the books from other sources in order for my son to have books when school started, I was able to get all but one by the time classed started. About a week after school started I started getting the codes for the ebooks, I emailed them (because no one ever answers the phone) to please refund the books that I had already purchase the books. Well it is now September 11, 2013 and still no refund. Please dont buy anything from this company. Once you create a profile you can go to the FAQ and see so many complaints from other people who have purchased books and never received them or codes that are already used. BEWARE
There was a problem with a downloaded book. I realize the publisher changed a format and that wasnt their fault. I had to submit a refund request and purchase the book from the publisher. It has been over a month and I have not received my refund. I have opened 2 tickets and neither has even been looked at by their customer service. I tried to call and got a recording that I should open a ticket online. My next step is to go through my credit card company and dispute the charge.HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Ive been going back and fourth with them for the past week. I recently tried to purchase my childs books on their website and they been out of stock for some time. So i was able to find them way cheaper on another website so I ordered them. I contacted esco and told them I wanted a refund on the book buyback they said they are not able to release a check till my child graduates. I told them this was their senior year so I will no longer need to purchase books but they are still refusing to give me refund. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I AM A VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER..
It is not a good store. the service sucks and the back order on an online book, i dont know how that happens, but that screwed me on a few early school tests. im sorry but bad service.
Have an unrecognized charge on credit card statement. Esco would not/could not answer question over phone; said I had to email my question, and wait 1-2 days for a reply. Not good.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE. I paid extra for expedited service. 80$ down the drain. Still no refund. I ignored the reviews and Im kicking myself for it. LISTEN. This website is a complete scam!!!
Their customer service is FAR from excellent!
Horrible- dont use! I returned books in a buyback three months ago and keep being told the check is on its way. Never use again.
