Set an appointment online yesterday to get my oil change at 10am today... Two hours of waiting and they havent even brought my car back to do the oil change. As I asked how much longer my car would be, the woman in the front said she would go check and disappears with an excuse to keep me sitting there for as long as I did. Finally I asked them to give me my keys back and left. Literally just wasted two hours of my day.Why have the option for customers to set appointments if the appointments arent keep by the business. This was incredibly terrible business and customer service.

In 2017 I got tires put on at FSs Mesa location. The day they were installed they mixed up my identity; address, name - everything, with someone else. When I complained at that time they acted like they didnt understand the problem. I thought after an explanation they would understand. Today I went into this Tempe FS location to get the tires assessed because they only have lasted approximately half the distance theyre supposed to - according to the warranty. When I gave the front desk my phone number guess whos name is still linked with mine in their system? Yeah...that other person whos identity they mixed me up with 4 years ago. And when I questioned that situation the drama queen with the expressive eyes at the front desk decides Im to be treated as if Im out of line for being concerned about that. While waiting more than a half hour for my tires to be looked at (they didnt get looked at) I researched the probable outcome of a warranty situation. Nope...Im certain I wouldnt get any satisfaction out of this - either way. I asked for my keys back and Im now at Discount getting new tires put on. Ill never go back to Firestone again. By the way those warranties; dont expect a lot - from ANY tire company. Do your research - its a joke.

Outstanding! The shop was incredibly busy but they managed to get me in and out in less than an hour! I blew a tire on the freeway, checked Google Maps for the closest tire shop, and received a message from my boss telling me I needed to be at work at 3am. Its almost 5pm. To the Firestone shop I go hoping for the best.. I was not disappointed! These guys really went above and WAY beyond to help. Thank you!

Wouldnt recommend letting them work on your car at all. I just bought a car and took it in for squeaky brakes as a precaution and they said I need 2000$ of work for new struts and to reshape the rotors. Those were all brand new parts installed 2 weeks prior to my visit when I bought the car. I watched a technician and the manager on duty inspect the car while I was in the lobby. Those parts still have stickers on them there id no questioning they are scamming people.

Very Bad Costumer Service, they don’t even care costumers. very very expensive on everything (Main Labor).I took my car for full safety check ( inspection) before that night I had replaced my windshield wipers, and again they wrote that it needs to be replaced. Very bad service, I don’t suggest anyone to this work station.

The Front desk representative is although knowledgeable. Looks like they don’t want to work on the car or issue. I went for a continuous air leak which happened due to a flat tire on tire which I bought at Firestone. Since they’re not interested in fixing the flat tire. Instead, they asked me change the tire for new tire as they couldn’t fix the flat tire. They added. Actualy, I was looking at the car from the parking and the time they put on the lift. They just put on the lift waited for 6-10 mins and then the service guy and Representative exchanged few words and then they came to me saying. It’s not fixable. Looks like they don’t want to work on the issue or they don’t know what to do ? thinking customer doesn’t know anything about the Car repair & try to rip the customer by adding”the flat tire can’t be repaired and have to replace the tire”. I took out straight to Costco tire center and they fixed my tire for $9.99 saying it’s just a nail. Never recommend this location

Horrible service, NO Integrity....they broke something on my car during an oil change and had I not seen the tech do it they were going to just pretend like it never happened. The service manager that was on duty didnt bother to speak to me about the issue. I filed a complaint with the 800# and have not heard anything back and its been over 2 weeks.

Weve taken all of our cars here since moving to Tempe. We find that theyve always been straightforward with us about whats been going on. And a pinch they can typically squeeze us in. Both the front desk staff and the maintenance crew have always been super kind anytime Ive had questions.

On Oct 16,2020 I took my car to this location. Megan called me over the phone and explain to me which was the maintenance areas that my car needed. I got charged $952 for the struts. I applied to their credit line because of the amount of money that end up paying.However the repair was the worst, my car continue having the same issue of why I took it there as the beginning. Definitely I do not recommend this location.

I went there today to have my breaks checked. They told me they could not find out was wrong but based on what I told them was happening that it was my master cylinder. They said they would have to take it apart to see if that was the problem. I asked how much they said $1000. I told them I am going to wait. They also recommended a new cabin air filter which I told them I just changed a week ago. I checked my cabin air filter after leaving to make sure the place I had my oil change done really put a new one on. I pulled it out and it is brand new. This is terrible. If they are willing to scam people for a $32 filter I would never trust them with a$1000 dollar repair. Never going back, the guy at the counter was nice though.

Came in for an alignment and left with the vehicle worse than when it came in. No mention made to me before I left. Grease smudges all over the door and door panel. In the end I wasted my time and now have a truck that is worse off then when it came in.

I had an amazing experience today at firestone on baseline. The tire techs were super amazing I had a completely flat tire they didn’t have that many people to help me but took their own time and changed my spare for me I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. It was an unexpected very kind gesture. Thanks again for making my Sunday.

Called ahead to schedule a brake flush. Was quoted a price and I asked if they could do it this afternoon. Advisor over the phone said they could. I even asked if there was an ideal timeframe. The sooner the better was the response. I got ready and drove down up there, arriving about 30 minutes later and they said they were too busy and wanted me to schedule an appointment. I told them I was told to come straight down, and they said they didnt know who told me that. After a brief exchange, I reminded them what their stores phone number was and verified that I had called at 2:47 PM. I asked if they could discount the price because I would have to come back another day, they said no. Okay, no problem, Ill let someone else have the job.

This store is amazing! I needed an oil change after driving my Chrysler van across country. New tires were a must and Jeremy made several suggestions for replacing them. We decided that the Bridgstone tires were best for me AND they were on sale. During the tire replacement it was found that my rear brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. They worked me to get the best price for all the work and parts to bring my van up to excellent driving condition. Highly recommended Firestone Complete for your cars repairs.

Jeremy and Megan have always taken care of things for me with both my vehicles, Ford Escort (Vixen) and my Nissan Sentra (Chance). Theres never any pressure, they always keep me in the loop with my vehicle needs. The techs are great and always give a full report on my vehicles. I may not always have my vehicle work done there but keeping me educated on issues with my vehicle is important. This is a busy store and never once have they let that pressure of of the amount of customers that come in the store affect the customer service or take advantage of my time with a busy schedule. Sometimes the prices are a little more than I can budget for but when I do have them work on my vehicles the quality of work is no less than Excellence

I wish I was kidding when I say my car came out worse than when I brought it in. There was a noise in my tires and they told me to replace 2 tires and get an alignment so I did. I drove off and the car pulled to the right, so much that I could switch lanes without using the wheel. The steering wheel also felt loose. I brought it back the next day and they said that I needed to replace the other 2 tires to get rid of it. I had them move the new back tires to the front to see if it was true and it wasn’t, the car still pulled to the right and now it also made an awful screeching sound when breaking. I didn’t even leave the parking lot before turning back around. Once again they said everything was fine but that there was a recall on the car which had to do with the pulling still and that my rotors were bad. It didn’t have the screeching before the second time I brought it in and they also did a full diagnostics and never brought that up. They said that everything was fine still. It’s not fine though, it’s pulling to the right and has the sound like something is stuck in the new tires. I took it to Ford to check on the recall and sure enough there is no recalls for my vehicle. Don’t go here- specifically this location. Now I’m $600 in and 10+ hours of waiting outside in the hot sun because they closed their lobby. I’m taking it to a different firestone who actually knows what they are doing. I went in and they don’t make you wait in 105 degree weather outside. Go to any other Location then here these guys are truly the biggest idiots I’ve ever met.

I had my clutch master cylinder replaced via a Firestone in Surprise Az and it made for a terrible driving experience. I was driving on the 101-N and the bolt that held the spring literally sheared off holding in all the components and luckily I was able to pull off to safety. Well Jeremy was great at assessing what needed to be done and told me it would probably be a dealer part and it would take the next week to complete. Steve I believe is the main mechanic there and completed the job the very next day. I was actually quite surprised and my car shifts so smoothly now. Highly recommend.

DANGEROUS SERVICE! My car is a big part of my job...I depend on it! And thanks to Firestone in Tempe, Ive had hours of down-time because of their incompetence. About a month ago, when I had them do an oil change, they tried selling me a battery, and since Id had no issues with my battery at the time, I declined buying one. The next day, my battery mysteriously died, causing me hours of down-time. Then when I had them do another oil change yesterday, they said I needed both my cabin air filter and engine air filter replaced. I declined since my husband does that type of maintenance on my car...and, low and behold, when I left there, my engine was making an incredibly loud noise when I accelerated and I was afraid to continue driving, concerned it could cause damage to my car, so I had to stop working. Later, when my husband got home and opened the hood, he discovered the air box (which houses the air cleaner) was not completely closed or latched (see photo), which is what was causing the loud sound from my engine. This location is very busy, but that really isnt an excuse for this type of mechanical mistake that cost me quite a bit of lost earnings. Whats next? Will they FORGET to put oil back in my engine and burn it up!?? Probably! Needless to say, I WILL NEVER GO BACK to this location. PS: Their restroom is filthy and I wish Id have taken a photo of the disgusting white porcelain sink, which was literally black!

I usually avoid chain mechanic shops since they are usually priced a lot higher than private shops, but I needed work done to get through emissions, and no one else was open over the weekend. Work was done quickly and the rep kept contact with me before every step of the work. Price was about the same as the quotes I got from the private shops I called (give or take $5 or so) and got through emissions nicely.

I came here for their free tire checkup. You can just park in front of their garage area for that.They were very helpful, and an associate came out of the garage to help me check the tire pressure and then pumped some extra air in. He was pretty efficient, and it was an easy in and out experience. :)Love the good customer service here.

I have been to a couple different Fire Stone Complete Auto Service Centers and hands down this store know what theyre doing.👍 When you walk in its clean no nasty hand prints on the windows or dirt on the floor.👌👌 I recently bought new tires and a lifetime balance and alignment for my car at another location. My vehicle was shaking and pulling so I had to go back twice...let down and clear mistreated... I desided to try a different location because I had already have the lifetime warranty... I called Kim answered i told her what was going on, she was so understanding and made sure I was the first person they saw that morning. Something happened with the other tires...they were cupping and acting funny. Ian came over and said heres what we are gonna do... We are putting four new tires on for FREE (crazy right?? This never happens!!)🙏🙏🙏 the other shop didnt catch the problem (it was the rear shocks needing replacement) so we are gonna make it right. Ian couldnt have treated me better. 🙆‍♂️Everyone thinks they are gonna get taken when there is something wrong with your car. These guys are honest and have a great team of people working there and it shows.Ill be back -Terminator

Poor customer service, rude and unprofessional as soon as i pulled up he saw who i was he automatically disrespected me for no reason it was my first time i will never go back or recommend anyone here. The manager told she didnt have to call me and tell me that their online site wasnt working rite it would of avoided me not showing up hoping i could get my tire fixed although i had an 12:00 pm appointment. Even if i would of let them fix my tire they ruined it because of their bad attitudes and horrible customer service i didnt want them to even touch my car after how they treated me, the trust was gone.

I like the communication and overall friendly staff, but I think I payed for service not needed. I had a serpentine belt replaced at this location and this led to a whirling sound the next few days, which I couldnt tolerate for an upcoming road trip. Brought the car back at their advice and they said its unrelated - AC compressor is bad now. I decided to get this fixed (not cheap), however driving the car off the property, sure enough still a whirl/squeak from the belt. Popped the hood to confirm when I got home but too late to address since we were leaving. May be worth a second opinion before going with service here.

Came in for the $10 dollar ac check up. Was quoted 1,990.28 to get my ac running and this was a special holiday price. I was able to buy all brand new parts myself and had a mechanic get it going for under $500. They also wanted me to buy a new ac head control unit for almost $800 when all I needed was a $20 dollar gear to replace inside of my blend door actuator. Would recommend shopping around before settling for these car care places.

I scheduled an oil change & tire rotation. At the oil change they said to me that I have an oil leak & wanted to put dye in my tank to find the source. Paid for the dye in the tank, new filters, etc. Brought my vehicle back after the suggested time frame & was told that my turbo needed replacing & it would cost $1,400 & that I shouldnt drive my vehicle. Took my car to a dealership to have the work done since it was under the dealer warranty. The dealership advised me that not only was my turbo in great condition, there was no oil leak, & Firestone had installed the wrong size engine box filter.

This is my second Firestone location Ive been to and got to say both experiences have been nothing less then satisfactory. I was having trouble getting my fan to kick on in idle after working on it myself so I decided to take it in because I couldnt figure it out, well after they looked at it low and behold there was nothing wrong with it. Instead of charging me for some made up thing which Ive seen alot of mechanics do, they notified me and sent me on my way. I was very impressed with the honesty and integrity of all the employees here and I will definitely be coming back with any further issues with my vehicle as well as highly recommending them to all my friends, you guys rock

This used to be the best place to bring my vehicles for any repair. However they have grown so much that they have lost their view of treating the customer as important. The quality of work is excellent. But you may wait in line for 10 minutes while the customer service people tend to things other than the customers waiting in line.

Dropped my car at 7 am in the morning for rotation and oil change. Called them in the afternoon and told me my car was still parked waiting for service. I knew it was ready because I called again at 4 pm, they didnt even take the hassle of informing me that it was ready.I think they can improve their customer service and dont receive cars if they have lot of work. This all happened even though I scheduled the maintenance previous day

Ive been using this location for 2 years on both of my vehicles to keep them up to date on the maintenance and have never been dissatisfied. The front desk people are friendly and knowledgeable about their service. I enrolled in the rewards program and it has proved helpful when it comes to paying the bill. As a bonus their credit line is 6 months interest free which really helps when you need to pay for greater maintenance issues.

Our appointment was at 1pm. We bought one tire. My son had to fend off the pushy salesman for 10 minutes. He just wanted one tire. He brought a new rim as he thought one of his might be bent. The salesman kept ignoring what he was saying while trying to sell him a full set of tires.So finally we left to run some errands. My son got a call at 2pm from a mechanic asking a question. He dropped me off at 2:36 and went to work.The car had not been touched. Just sitting there. I asked the nice young man what the point is of making an appt for ONE TIRE is if its not done in a timely fashion.He gave me the excuse that the mechanic had to call for a question. Thats not an excuse for not touching the car 1 hour and 36 minutes from the time we walked in the door.He told me 45 minutes to an hour longer. The lobby seats were all taken so I stood for 20 minutes. Im watching the car the whole time. Its just sitting there with paperwork sitting on the hood not being touched.The nice guy comes back and refills the little fridge with water. I have a seat by now. I tell him its still not been touched. He says hell check on it. Finally the car goes up in and 20 minutes Im handed the keys at 3:45.Start to finish of actual work, 20 minutes. Wait time 2 hours 45 minutes. For one tire.Shameful.

Really Bad Experience.In Oct 2018 I got a Continental Tire for my Rear Right wheel at Firestone.The tire had manufacturing defect, thus I went to Firestone to get it fixed. The Firestone manager told me that they will remove the tire and take a look and will fix it if a manufacturing defect is found. Next day they informed me that it was manufacturing defect and later told me they dont deal with Continental tires and i have to pay out of pocket or I can carry my tire with me. They just handed me the tire in the office when I visited them and did not even help me put the tire in my trunk (may be because I refused to pay them for the manufacturing defect)They should communicate more clearly and show more value to the customers.

I came for soft brakes. I was told that they will be replacing the brake fluid and cleaning the rear brakes. When they called me to tell me that the mentioned things have been done, I asked them if the brakes are working fine. The rep put me on hold and told me that yes, they are a lot better. When I picked it up, they felt the same. Got it checked from another place and found that they firestone had not even taken off my back wheel. Not acceptable. Why are the charging me for something you are not doing and why the hell are you telling me the brakes are a lot better when they are not. Also not to mention the amount they charged for it. 90$ for the brake fluid change and 30$ for cleaning. I never went back to this place.

About almost 2 weeks ago I walked into this location and left with a smile on my face. I worked with an individual named Jeremy, and he was such an informative employee. He did his best to make sure I was well educated about the benefits of purchasing from firestone. I needed 4 tires for a my fiancé’s 2017 Honda Civic. I didn’t have the vehicle with me at the time but he was able to determine what tire size I needed based on limited information I could provide. After having a brief discussion about pricing I told him that I would be able to return with a better decision cause I needed to consult with my fiancé. Right as I was leaving he told me about how I would be able to finance the tires and if we qualified, and came back he would take care of me. I’m pleased with everything he was able to do for me. 4 new tires and lifetime alignment for $550. Car is rolling smooth.Jeremy, Thank you!

They don’t honor their coupons. Over promise under deliver. They don’t listen to you so don’t expect repairs to be done right the first (or second) round. 2, 3, or even 4 day turnaround time is a bit embarrassing for a national auto center that behaves like Walmart. They don’t secure your car for the longer holds so make sure to take out all your valuables. Plan to wash and vacuum your car after such visits to Firestone. TPMS seems to be something they can’t fix after my third visit and still getting charged for it.

Girlfriend took her car here for an oil change. Thier tech told her that her drain plug was stripped and she needed a new oil pan to the tune of $550.00. I bought a new drain plug oil and filter from the friendly neighborhood AutoZone. Long story short drain plug was not stripped. They told her her car had problems that in the real world did not exist. In my opinion they are the worst of the worst snake oil salesmen of today.

I would not recommend this place to anyone I like. I made an appointment with ease but that’s the only good thing I have to say. My time slot was 11am and called in at 3 pm to check in and they said I was next in line. Then I called at 4:15 and they said oh yeah it’s ready. Both times I walked through the door, no one even looked up from their screens or said hi to me. I was promised a discount for the wait but wasn’t granted it.I understand being busy but I don’t understand being rude and giving bad customer service.

I had some issues here with my car. Here is the rundown,- At 7a I dropped off car after being told the master technician would be there at 7a- 8:07a, I called in to check on the car to here that the master technician didn’t get in until 7:30a and that they were just now (untrue) pulling my car in coincidentally. After an hour, no follow up and I had to call just like yesterday. Total time car at shop in past 2 days currently at 5 hours service time- 9:24a, Came in and checked the car. A guy told me they will call me and Linda wished me off. The nice guy I spoke to this morning walked me to the car. The tech again didn’t understand that it was an overheating issue. This is now the 5th time I told them that. So again my time has been wasted. Currently at 6 hours and 30 minutes- 10:25a, the techs have diagnosed the problem as either the thermostat that needs a coolant flush, water pump, or radiator. He gave me a $39 discount but I’m still paying $200. 2 more hours repair time equals 8 hours and 30 minutes do far. Worst experience ever.- 12:30p, Called in, no work done on the car. Told it would take 3 more hours and requested to cancel the work- 1:19p, Came in and they tried to charge me a maintenance fee of $43. The manager was nice and helped me but I’m still unhappy.- 4pm, The manager was nice and they fixed the problem- Total time 13 hours at shop

When I started going to this Firestone in 2016 I felt like I was being taken care of and I could trust the guy I was working with. The employees have since turned over and the service is definitely not the same. Its a shame I need to find a better mechanic :/

I feel the need to give a big shout out to the guys at this location, Israel H. specifically. I went in there with a leak in a tire intending to get a nail removed and plugged only to find out that the nail was too close to the sidewall and could not be fixed. Israel understood that during the holidays money can be tight and I unfortunately could not spring for a new tire. Refusing to let me leave with a tire in that condition, Israel insisted on replacing the damaged tire with a completely new one. All I can say is Im grateful for all he and the team at this location has done and I wish you all the happiest of holidays! Thank you so much!

SCAMMERS! Just don’t go. They say they get things serviced but they really don’t.Took my tire to get patched. They charged me $40. Once I got home. The tire was flat again.Poor service.

Went in for an oil change a half hour before they closed. I was told there were four cars ahead of my and he couldnt help me. That would have been fine but there was literally one other person there.
