The Mexican Mocha is just what I needed! Highly recommend. Tip: their online menu has more options so be sure to check that out. The vibe was very relaxed and friendly. The location was clean and the staff was very friendly and patient as I asked a bunch of questions at 7am.

Starbucks needs to be concern because in my opinion, this place is substantially better. The coffee here taste like coffee should taste like. Well done Balck Rock!

When I go out for coffee, Black Rock is the only place I go anymore. The competitors dont stand a chance and Ive left them in the dust. ;DBoth BRs I use have the best employees and coffee menu.Suggestion: their Iced Jackhammer is a must try!

This semi-brand new Black Rock Coffee Bar is great! Theyre open late, have great customer service, have a drive thru, and the inside as well as the outside always looks clean! Gives off a good atmosphere and they have a wide variety of drinks.Ive gotten some of their Cold Brews, Freezes, and the Mexican Mocha. Has never disappointed me.

Black rock will always have a special place in my heart. They have 1/3 of the staff of Dutch Bros. However, they get you your drink twice as fast. Their espresso is also so much better.I love this location. Everyone working here is always so easygoing.So if you want a drive through latte, but dont need the girlfriend experience, these are your guys.

So this place ROCKS, the staff and managers have been great since the first day. Ive never drank coffee til this placed opened in my back yard practically. Im here 4 days a week and it never disappoints. Alyssa and Maggie are always cheerful and run a tight fun ship.Great loyalty program, easy prices and fun music. Great place to start the day.

I went inside this time and it is very cute and nice inside, very quick service. I normally go through the drive up window but it was very busy. Always get great service here! The drinks are consistently good. Only complaint is that when the drive up lane gets too full it’s impossible to get out of the parking spaces. Very annoying when you are in a hurry to grab a coffee and get to work.

Very nice and attentive staff. 1st time there and my drink was really good. My dog loved his pupachino with the dog biscuit in it. They have a big variety of sugar free syrups.

This place needs someone with some basic marketing savvy. Been trying to find out about it to post on FB in our neighborhood. The new one not even on the main corporate site, although I did find it after going into google. . Website is vague as to what is in the beverages. I guess there is no food at all?

So far, good! They just opened this week and I have been there twice; I ordered a fuel, a chiller, a breve and a blackout. They all have been really good. I have never been to one of these coffee shops until this one and they have been great! Hope they keep up the good work and beverages quality. Sad to see other reviews about masks and not about their products.

Coffee is just ok. Wasnt anything too special or anything I was blown away by. The building and vibe itself is nice and so is the staff however if youve heard about this place and arent sure if you want to try it, you could probably pass.

My wife and I go there daily, great coffee and selection, brand new re-modeled facility. Very customer friendly, fast and efficient! If your in Tempe and need a coffee, stop by there, hidden gem.

While most of the employees are wearing masks, in this small work area with at least 10 employees crammed in, there are at least 2 of them wearing the masks WRONG, such as pulling the mask under the nose. If you’re going to do that, you might as well not wearing mask, because now everyone in the close work space are in your infecting area, including customers’ drinks.This is a new shop, I understand everything is still in training, but I will probably not visit again untilI’m vaccinated. Service attitude is however great, but the fact they don’t care about pandemic and others’ health makes me sad.

I only did the drive through and got a large Americano with Soy Milk but man, it was good coffee - it didnt taste burnt and I got a taste of caramel off the quality of the bean and how it was roasted - Ill have to go inside next time but man, I will be back - great java! I like Starbucks but this was a cut above.....

Every time I go back, this place gets better. Drive through is fast and the coffee is “unbelievable”. The selection is unmatched. Hidden Gem for sure.

This place is pretty cool and gas some very nice menu options. Gotta admit, I really wanted one of the free shirts they were giving away by missed being one of the first 100 customers.

Only the employees were wearing masks. None of the customers wore masks and were less then 6 feet apart. This place breaks all covid guidelines. The line inside took just as long to wait in as the drive through line. The cashier did not even ask if I wanted to leave a tip. Other locations are much better. Do not visit.

Love BlackRock Ive been going to Oceanside and I followed them here. Great service so far with the long lines in the morning and uptight people complaining Well worth the wait my personal favorite is the Carmel Truffle and my wifes is the Mexican Mocha! Blackout and Carmel Blondie are also good! 📈

If you want a GOOD caramel coffee this is the spot. I had a lovely time waiting in line. They had someone directing the line, someone handing out menus & 2 order takers. They handed my coffee right off to me at the window. Chick-fil-a level service but faster!!! Literally considering getting another cup rn.

The blended Mexican mocha is the best. Hints of cinnamon and almond make it very unique

It’s a good place to go but don’t order through doordash because they will give you the wrong size drink. I paid extra for a large and got a medium because I wasn’t there to correct it.

If youre like me, dark coffee aint your thang! Dessert coffee...hmmmm...? YUM w/ whipped cream on top!! Black Rock does the best job of Dessert + Coffee Fusion. I get to be a coffee sellout AND still get the taste of coffee. Other popular franchises just go FULL Foofoo. Here, I feel like a real coffee culture contributor. Whatever that means!Great Service, Friendly Staff and were happy to have BR in Tempe finally!!! Yay!!

I had a great experience! This is my favorite coffee place im glad they have started opening them in AZ. As a response to the 1 star review, this is the first day this location is open, of course the lines will be long and ofcourse itll be a long wait as the team is brand new. The employees were wearing masks and the people enjoying coffee were not but thats because they were drinking coffee. Love this place congrats on opening day!

Great place for coffee... usually enjoy a bagel with cream cheese, but sometimes get a bagel with just a little spread of cream cheese and not happy. Ill stick to beverage.
