The pharmacy is great. Ive used them for years. They text me when prescriptions are ready. They have a drive through pharmacy for pickup. They have a parking lot (even in busy Mill Ave area) and Ive never had a problem finding a space. When walking, the north entrance is often closed and you have to walk past homeless people hanging under the east side portico sidewalk, so I usually walk through the west side parking lot entrance instead. Well stocked for a smaller footprint but they have printer ink, photo lab, frozen/refrigerator foods, wine and alcohol as well as traditional pharmacy offerings.

Came in to the store to load some money on my card. Never have experienced the rude behavior from a cashier. She started off by grabbing card out of my hand rudely; corrected the way I pronounced the amount rudely and literally checked my bill few different ways and was questioning the bill(older bill). I know it’s her job but dang I felt embarrassed. I literally think she checked it ten times. Very unfortunate experience by Katie

Visiting from out of town and went into grab some batteries from CVS on 9/12 at 12:30. Female clerk with glasses was very rude. Just feel like you’re management should know. You’ll probably receive many negative reviews on her service.

I refilled my prescription for two years in this pharmacist. They always charged me, and multiple time I asked why and they said the plan didn’t cover. Guess what!!? I moved to phoenix so I changed to another CVS. When I pick up my prescription today, the pharmacist told me; You don’t have any insurance on file. I was paying $41 dollar every month for two years because they couldn’t even check if I have insurance…….

They have really bad service at the pharmacy drive thru I literally waited 30 mins on my medicine than when I approached the drive thru I was asked to wait another 10 mins than again was asked to wait another 15 minutes literally waited there for a hour 🤦 in the future I hope I dont ever need to come here again. 👎I wish I can give it a 0 ⭐

I really hope I can give zero star. Was falsely regarded to have oral thrush by my first doctor, she ordered 8 bottles of oral suspension at thsi CVS, I used just 2 bottles of them and the rest is not touched at all (my second doctor said I dont have oral thrush at all so I can stop using the oral suspension). I was told We can not refund you once the medicine leaves CVS, even if I stressed at least three times that the rest 6 of them are not touched at all! (In the end, I paid $53.50 for just 2 oral suspensions, shame on CVS)

Great place in a very scenic area located right next to ASU. Used to come there every few days as a student of ASU. Things generally are somewhat expensive in that neck of the woods.

Bought a few items and needed 8 dollars in ones and asked for my change to be in ones and the cashier responded that she couldnt because the country is in a cash shortage. That isnt true, we are in a coin shortage. When I said, so I can only have 3 dollars of change in ones she gave me attitude and said yup, do you need your receipt . I said no and left. I had to go to another store just to break a 5, not good customer service.

PHARMACY IS NOT 24 HOURS. Even the sign on the front door is misleading

I Love this Pharmacy. I always get greeted as soon as I walk in the door. Brian and the rest of the staff are always helpful and friendly. They do sometimes get extremely busy due to being close to ASU but that has never limited their service, courteousness and professionalism.

Heads up for visiting college parents if your college age daughter or son is with you, they will not sell you alcohol. I was turned away, we all had to provide Id’s (I was purchasing) and because of “the way my son looks” so says Leo the manager...shrugs* they could not sell to me. I understand the caution of random adults purchasing for minors but when with a parent??? Makes no sense at all. I have never been so embarrassed in my life.

Totally amazing ....as busy as the Tempe Mill Ave area is ...I walk into CVS and pharmacy tech Joey knows me by name before I say anything....then Jenna the pharmacist says hello...and knows me by name....lol....its not like I am a stalker --at CVS daily-- I visit maybe three times a month...but Joey encouraged me to register online -- and I now receive fantastic saving coupons off my purchases - constantly....I think the store is open 24 hours...its at the ASU campus so its a busy area...

Great location and easy to find from downtown. Store is clean and the staff very helpful. It’s a large store and they can help you find anything you need. Lots of good sales.

Brian pharmacist extremely rude. He was busy and I get that but put me on hold in mid sentence and then when I called back he hung up on me when I tried to voice my displeasure with his actions. I work in healthcare and understand how unreasonable people on both sides can be. I kept my cool but was not going to just let it go.. This guy does not know how to treat people. Busy or not.

I used to love this place, but what happened today makes me so disappointed. I went to pick up my medicine, and the pharmacy staff are nice and helpful as usual. Then I went to check out the hair products. It says there is a $10 coupon with $30 and more purchase. I didnt know how the coupon can be used so I took one shampoo and one conditioner to the cashier. I was going to buy them if the coupon works the way I thought.However, the cashier was not helpful at all and was so rude. She said she doesnt know the expiration date of the coupon until its printed and she made no effort to help me check it out. I decided not to buy the hair products and asked her to check out other things.Before I can put the hair products down on the counter, she took them away suddenly and roughly, almost right from my hands, and put them away. I can see that she has an attitude, but I dont know what I did to deserve that. I was never impolite to her, even when she did not answer my questions.I confronted her and asked her why she was so rude. She couldnt answer my question.I finally checked out on my own and called the manager. I just wanted to let him know what happened so that the customer service can be improved. However, the attitude of the manager disappointed me again.He didnt really listen. After hearing what happened, he didnt even ask me the name of the cashier or any details. He just said, oh, I will fire her. I said that that was not my intention, and he said he was just saying that to make me happy. Well, I dont need that. I thought that the purpose of customer review is to help them improve, but apparently he didnt like to hear any complaints.

“Wayne” was very rude and had a very sour attitude. He refused to let me use the restroom, even though the establishment was no where near closing time. I then proceeded to attempt to purchase a bottle of alcohol with my friend; that was when “Wayne” refused to sell anything to my friend and I. I would like to never see such a poor employee at this establishment ever again.

Very expedient, curteous and professional. My doctor had just called in my script and they literally had it ready for me I less than 10 min They didnt rush me and took their time explaining scripts and wanted to make sure I fully understood everything! Much nicer than most other pharmacies Ive been to!

Pharmacy staff is helpful and cordial. Convenient location. Well organized beautiful store. The two entrances are a bit confusing but overall a very pleasant place to go.

I bought 2 things. 2! I am now walking 15 minutes back to the store after a 10 hour shift because I got home and there was only one thing in the bag. How does that even happen? You had one job! And its dead after 11 PM. No excuse. Only speculation I wonder if it was on purpose. Take a shot I wouldnt come back and she got herself my item for free. Again just speculation....

A CVS customer that after less than 13 minutes was towed from their parking lot. The manager on duty was no help and only offered that the store manager would be in the following morning.I have never had an experience this bad at a store.I will NEVER recommend going here. Dont waste your time or money. Youll only be robbed via your car being towed and forced to pay hundreds of dollars to get it out.

I needed to return an item that I had just purchased mistakenly and being that it was so close to 10 p.m. and knowing most stores in the area would be closing I decided to go to (Store #1113) Tempe, 10 miles away to a 24 hour CVS Pharmacy. When I got to the store with the unused items and receipt, I was rudely told by the night manager Isis that I would have to come back at 8 AM because she doesnt do returns after 10 pm and it was now 10:25 pm I tried to explain to her that I have work in the morning and thats why I came all the way here from Phoenix to a 24-hour CVS. Than Isis said thats to bad, we dont do returns after 10 p.m. goodbyeAfter an experience like this it really make you wonder what type of customer service training does CVS require when a customer who came all the way here to this store and than is persecuted by a CVS employee in front of a line full of people just for wanting to do a simple return well within CVS is policy.

A couple weeks ago my vehicle was told from this CVS after I had went into the store, made a purchase, went across the street to grab a to go order, and my vehicle was gone. I asked the manager Avalia why she told me my vehicle was towed and she stated I left the property. I told her their is no time limit on the sign & I wasn’t even gone for 30 mins. She got an attitude, and walked off. I feel Like she was being prejudice & she watch me on the camera as I left out but I still made a purchase, and came back in a timely manner.

This place is busy, day & night. Lots of homeless wondering in/around stealing an messing up the bathrooms... the staff work hard to take care of the place & customers. Always friendly to me an Ive been using this store for years

DO NOT GO TO THIS CVS!!!They will tow you if you cannot hear them over the intercom!!! Went over on a Wednesday night when the parking lot had only a few cars but my car was still towed. PAYING CUSTOMER BUT TOWED ANYWAYS. Staff did not even know which towing company they use. Utterly unhelpful. Park at your own risk because you will be towed!

Let me start off by saying that I shop with CVS often, but do not live near ASU campus. I found myself in the area of this CVS and I parked at the CVS pharmacy location at 802 S Mill Ave, Tempe, AZ 85281 at approximately 10pm on 6-12-19. I parked there and walked inside the CVS to see if they carried a few things that I needed. I got a call from a friend and proceeded to walk right next door to the Chick-Fil-A parking lot. I thought nothing of doing this. I was gone for approximately 10-15 minutes and then I proceeded to return to the CVS to make some purchases for some allergy medication and other misc. things. I then came out from the CVS to discover that my car had been towed. When I talked to the front staff at the cash registers, they told me that there was a posted sign warning me that if I left the property that my car would be towed. They also told me that it didnt matter that I was a customer minutes earlier or that I had returned to buy more things. They told me it didnt matter, that the moment I left the store, my car was subject to tow. I want to stress that first off, there was one sign in the far left of the parking lot, that was 8 feet up in the air and was not well lit that. The sign simply states the following: CVS customer parking only. Then, in very small print that I could only read when zooming in with my camera, the sign says: Parking only while patronizing CVS. Do Not Leave Property. Then in much larger print below the sign states the typical info about tow fees and the number to call. I also want to mention that I am 6ft 5in tall and need glasses for distance that I had left in my car. This sign was not at a height or with large enough print that even I could read. Also, I had only left the property for about 10-15 minutes, after which I returned to make additional purchases. Additionally, it was 10pm at night and out of the 30 available parking spaces there were only 4 cars parked there. Mine was one of them. It is uncalled for and extremely inappropriate that my vehicle was towed. I could understand if this was mid-day with a full lot or something, but not then. I am concerned that all this CVS wanted to do was charge me money for the tow. Additionally. I then had to call the tow company, who were incredibly unpleasant on the phone with me. The agent I spoke with called me a liar, and literally yelled at me over the phone (threatening that if I didnt talk to them nicely that they wouldnt allow me to get my car back) .... Why would CVS do business with such a shady company if not to just make money. I then had to take an Uber to go to the tow company location (for a cost of $10), and I beat the tow driver there, who was arriving with my car. The tow shop, called Zip Tow forced me to pay $155 to get my car out of their lot. The charges included an afterhours gate access fee, a storage fee and a tow charge. In addition to this the tow lot also caused body damage to the roof, door, and rear bumper of my car in the form of scratches. I took dozens of pictures. I am furious at you, CVS, for treating me like this and for unnecessarily towing my car. I am also furious at how innocuous, unclear, and not well lit your tow warning signage on suite was. If it was clearly posted and well-lit, I could have easily driven to the Chick Fil A next door and then driven back. Also, the acting store supervisor and 3 additional members of her staff were not helpful at all. They told me that it didnt matter that I shopped there and was returning to shop. They told me that the fact that I left their property at all meant that I was subject to tow. Literally they made it very clear they didnt care about me, my business, or the fact that Ive been using your pharmacy for 15 years. I also want to stress that this all occurred over a 30 min time frame. This is no way for any business to operate.

Not the worlds most amazing pharmacy but they get my meds in on time, and theyre quick when you get up there. They tend to be busier with car side patients than in store but they get lines on both all day. Ive never waited longer than 20 minutes here for prescriptions that were sent in the hour before. You might have to wait a bit but that sounds like most pharmacies to me.

They will tow your car and claim they waited 10 minutes. They didnt wait or even make sure we werent inside before towing our car.

Always read your receipt and make sure everything is correct, they just scanned a single item twice and I got double charged for it.

Omg worst place ever!!!!!! Well the store was fine but ...... the manager MATT was the worst person Ive ever seen or talked to in my LIFE !!!!! The tide soap was priced wrong, He didnt wanna fix the problem at all . We was waiting for him for 22 minutes to come down and say well thats not the price, and he gave us a bad attitude and NOT professional AT ALL, its to much to type Right now but WOW hes the worst, please fix the problem.

This pharmacy used to be great for many years. Now the staff is all new and extremely lazy, rude, and unapologetic. The new pharmacist is absolutely horrible, its the same thing every time. They all need to be fired, clear house and start again. What happened to the friendly fast efficient informed staff that used to work here? Been using them for 6 years and never again.

This desolate, wall-to-wall carpeted pharmacy is a sorry excuse for a store on the clean and vibrant Mill Avenue. Every time I have needed something, it has not been available. The alternative is consistently astronomical in price. The checkout lines are always long and it feels like Im purchasing products that I no-less fished from some rummage bin.

Great store, staff is friendly and very helpful. Especially the overnight crew considering all the drunks they have to deal with. Ill definitely come back...see YOU soon.

Average sized CVS in a good location near the center of town. Easy parking off the street.

Arrived here to find out that my doctor hadnt called in my prescription and was told it would be a while before it would be ready. We decided to take a walk down the street and back as we waited. Once we got back awhile later we picked up the prescription and then saw that our car was TOWED!!! Apparently they deemed that our car had been in their lot too long! Unbelievable! We are both transferring all of our prescriptions to Walgreens and will never ever be back. You have lost our business!

I went to CVS yesterday to buy something, left my car parked there for 10 minutes while I went to make a phone call, came back and they had towed my car. Management was rude and unhelpful about it. Looking at reviews, it seems like this is consistent behavior from them. As soon as they see you walk off the property they will call a tow company and tow your car. DO NOT give these jerks your business.

Absolutely never shop or even stop at this CVS. These jerks will tow your vehicle from their lot even if you are a customer. I bought $30 worth of stuff, and they still towed my car that was in their lot for less than an hour. The management was useless and didnt even know which towing company that the store uses. You risk your car coming to this place, so do yourself a favor and dont.

Pretty average drug store. They have all of the necessities and a little bit more. I got a flu shot here, start to finish it took about 20 minutes, and I was a new pharmacy customer. Its over priced, but thats the cost of the convenience. Overnight the line can be either non existent or take 30 minutes, total crapshoot.

This store has a bad and arrogant woman sales representative. I called over phone to ensure that they have a “nivea soft moisturizing cream” product; she firmly said over the phone (without even checking) that they have it. But when I went to the shop within 5mins to purchase; she was showing me another nivea cream and telling me somebody bought the piece what I was looking for. She was just lying to me and not even accepted her own fault. It’s a very very bad customer service what they have and they don’t care about it. It’s a really bad CVS shop with that worst female sales manager.

Is the only store near the mill area if your on foot. Theres a homeless population that centers around the south entrance due to the amount of traffic and bus stop. The staff is very friendly and kind concidering the amount of unique situations theyre placed in on a 24hr basis. Ive yet seen one employee handle inapropriatly or let impact their job duties handling scenarios outside their pay grade. If anything the service provided at this CVS is comendable to say the least. I knocked one star only because they close the restroom at 9pm and has nothing to do with the people working there. Maybe cooperate can take notice of an honest review from the publics eye.Major Pain

This pharmacy is crazy. The line is always out the door. Pharmacists and staff are not able to be helpful due to the large quantity of people always waiting around.

I havent had really a bad experience at this CVS. They have what I need when I need it, the staff is helpful, the pharmacy staff is good, and its usually a quick and painless shopping experience!

Called in prescription that I needed filled within a 4-day time frame, max. I called every day to see if it was done, and it wasnt. Finally walked in and asked what was going on, and they said they had no idea they were supposed to fill it. I asked them to forward to Broadway and McClintock location. Pharm tech I spoke to said she would do it immediately. That was yesterday. Just got a call from them asking, I see a note in your file about birth control and Broadway and McClintock location, can you identify what that means? Thankfully this was just for birth control, and not a life-saving prescription!

I would like to see a larger selection of goods but really they have most things you would need.

Everything to be expected from a CVS expect their pharmacy seems understaffed and really slow, resulting in really long waits. I put in a script and never got a follow up call notifying me that it was ready. Im assuming they are the go-to for many college students in the area, so you may want to take your scripts to a different pharmacy to avoid the hassle.

Pharmacy refused to fill my pain that my doctor called in, because they disagreed with how my doctor prescribed it. It wasnt even written incorrectly. The pharmacist is rude and interrupts you when youre speaking. I will NEVER return to this pharmacy in my life.

Not great especially outside where you wait for the bus. Very filthy also lots of beggars. Just a regular drug store nothing too fancy. 2 self checkouts & regular checkouts near both exits. Rewards card does save you a little $.
