CeCe did a wonderful job on my cut and color! She was so careful and attentive the entire time. I’ve never had someone cut my hair like that. She really knows what she’s doing, too! I loved the atmosphere in the shop, it was entertaining for the long period of time I was there (since I have long hair and we did a pretty complex cut). Will be returning for my next hair appointment!

On God, I would rate them 10 stars if I could. Theyre so good at what they do and they keep everything super clean!! James cut and colored my hair just how I wanted today and it turned out perfect!! I got a same day appointment. I had very long, heavy, boring hair. Cece cut it shoulder length and gave me layers after a shampoo and condition. I was nervous asking for bangs but she did a fantastic job of making them look great and not childish. Cece was so sweet and made me feel comfortable. She was very informative about what types of products my hair would benefit from. I love my haircut and bangs. My hair is so soft and beautiful! Cece gave my hair new life!

This is a very chill place to get a reasonable haircut for a fair price. My stylist was knowledgeable, flexible, and friendly. She also avoiding making awkward small talk, which I personally appreciated. A lot of other people here are outgoing, which is great if you prefer that. Overall, this place has a very comfortable vibe.

Bishops was great. My stylist really took time to cut my hair how I wanted it. She even told me that once I got home and started playing with it and styling it, if theres anything I needed touched up I could come back in 7 days and get it done without an appointment. I took her up on her offer and got my hair a little shorter a few days later. I also liked the atmosphere and the people. I already recommended a friend there and she really liked her hair too!!

Gab did a fantastic job on our teenagers hair. They were ready to do something major (blue!) before heading back to school. Gab listened to what they wanted, and we were all delighted with the result. Bishops is a very inclusive place, and my partner and I enjoyed sitting there while we waited for our kiddo. Thank you!

This was my first time into Bishops and I loved it! The price for services was affordable and the staff we’re so welcoming! Stephen was my stylist and he was so knowledgeable. He is a certified barber but he was able to do a long cut and deep conditioning. He’s professional and personal and really made my experience worthwhile. I highly recommend trying this place out!!

Booked my appointment the same day on their website, super easy! It was a fast and good quality haircut and shampoo/condition! The area is a bit hectic due to ASU but doable I’ve also been to their willo location and parking is a tad better there.

Cece cut and colored my hair, she made my hair dreams come true! She got me super super blonde even though I came in with 4-5 inches of dark roots, and she also cut my hair exactly how I asked. I was a little nervous seeing how cheap the services were compared to where I usually get my hair done, but this is the best cut and color I have gotten in years. I was there for hours watching all the other stylists work magic. The whole shop is wonderful, the atmosphere is super cool. Cece’s fun and sweet personality was just the cherry on top! I explained exactly what I wanted using technical terms. When she didnt know what some of those terms were, I should have listened to my gut when I saw that red flag. She said she was a visual person, to try to bring photo examples. I brought page after page of examples in my phone...still somehow she still didnt give me what I explained or showed her. The crazy part, is that I was asking for a super textured a line bob and My hair was super long to begin with. I wanted a traditional a line precision cut, and then for her to go back in with a razor and delicately plane it to leave length but remove weight and then razor the ends at an angle for texture. There was NO REASON she couldnt cut my hair the way I asked or what the pictures illustrated. But she cut way into the bulk of my hair and didnt even start with a precision cut. I know everyone learns it in cosmetology school. So frustrating. She spent a lot of time on it, unfortunately a lot of time f*@k*ng it up.

Got a haircut, it was really bad. I scheduled a womens haircut which was estimated to take 30 minutes, she spent less than 10 with me. Barely even brushed my hair, didnt wet it at all, and just started cutting. I have naturally wavy hair but said I usually straighten it, but that day it was wavy. That wasnt taken into account so when I actually straightened it my layers are all over the place and it is super choppy. Spent $35 for less than 10 minutes of her time to end up with a bad haircut.

I have never had a stylist who just knew how to make me look great from the get go before. Christian and Gab made me and my wife feel comfortable, listened-to, and beautiful after a year of being quarantine gremlins.

Christian, who is also the manager cut and deep conditioned my hair. The cut is beautiful, and my hair is silky smooth. Christian makes great conversation as well, making the whole experience enjoyable. I will 100% be a returning client.

Came with an album full of reference pictures of what I wanted, they barely looked at it, left with a cut looking like a five year old boy. Had to trim an extra long lock of hair off myself when I got home. Back is very choppy, front has no character, looks nothing like what I wanted, and they cut it so short I have no choice but to wait months for someone else to fix it.Edit: One week later, still pretty upset with the cut, the impression is enduring. No contact as promised.

She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable too on products, hair care, and beard trimming! Ive not been in a salon in over 6 years either, so I was very relieved to leave with exactly the cut I had in mind. I will definitely be coming back!Also it was super affordable if you have long hair, 32$ for the haircut itself is the best price I could find in this area! There is a large parking lot behind the building as well which was super convenient. I definitely recommend!

Ive been to Bishops on a couple occasions since they are so close to ASU campus. All of my experiences have been great. When I went today, Evonne Pacheco did an amazing job on my hair! She walked me through what she was doing and made sure I was satisfied with the end result. She was great to talk to and did a fantastic job with my hair!

I brought my teenage daughter for a shampoo/cut/style and they were so great with her. We let the hair dresser know what type of cut we wanted and addressed some other details for her cut- which were all taken care of. Very happy with the service. All of the staff were nice and we loved the atmosphere. They will definitely be getting our business again!

I have booked a haircut. I usually go for an asymmetric bod with buzzed neck, I got that. The guy who was giving me a hair cut is usually doing barbers work than hair but he did a good job and was very meticulous and making sure that the lines are perfect. Im happy with my haircut and I will visit again.An update: I had to go elsewhere to get my hair fixed. After 3 weeks, there were way too many inconsistencies in a back part and all the uneven snips were showing

Not happy. Wont ever come here again. Looked at the good reviews and really thought I was gonna get what I wanted. The 3rd pic was the style and color I wanted. I did not get the cut that I asked for, not even close. I wouldnt normally leave a bad review, especiallywith my picture, but my hair was butchered. The color isnt even what I wanted. I paid $180 and left a tip to be nice. I went home and started crying. Its too short to fix and too many layers. Im going to have to find someone to fix the color hoping it will help with cut.

I’ve properly avoided going to a salon for about 5 years now. With endless trips to Sallys over the years and going from almost 5 years of black hair to blonde was not easy but I did my best at it. But even after a year of Fanola no yellow shampooing I just wasn’t happy with the blonde anymore and felt it was time to go back to my natural. After scrolling through Pinterest and seeing new trends come in, it was time to get a good cut and color transformation. I felt it was time to bite the bullet and get my hair professionally done but not before hours of research on which place to go to. I found Bishops after searching for lgbtq+ friendly salons and they immediately caught my eye. I’ve had such a bad experience at salons I’ve went to in the past hence why I haven’t been to one in over five years. My goal was to find a salon that was inclusive all the way around. I’ve dealt with my share of fatphobic and judgemental salons and hairstylists and I felt, based off of the reviews and client pictures, that Bishops was the total opposite. So, booked my appointment via their online portal and it was so easy! I was booked with CeCe for both a haircut and a color consult in hopes of getting a color session the following week.The day before my haircut and color consult, CeCe reached out and made sure of a few things for the appointment the next day. That communication right away set Bishops apart from anywhere I’ve been. In a way it made me feel less nervous going to CeCe for the very first time. The day of my appointment, I felt welcomed and comfortable the moment I stepped foot in Bishops. CeCe was finishing a clients color and sat me down when she got the chance and really took the time to get a feel for my vision. I showed her a few inspo pics I had in my mind and she went to work! Now, I do have severe anxiety so it took me a second to warm up and not say sorry every few seconds for not being able to really communicate what I wanted (LOL) but we made it through. Plus CeCe has such a fun personality that she made everything super comfortable despite my awkwardness and she didn’t make me feel judged in any way whatsoever. Although she didn’t have time to blowdry and style my hair after the cut, I was totally fine since well, 115 degree heat LOL! She consulted me about the color that I ultimately was wanting and we booked that for the following week and a strand test the day before the color session.Now, a few days went by from my haircut and my bang just wasn’t banging in the way I had hoped. So, the day of the strand test, CeCe had asked me how I was feeling and I told her how I felt. She made sure togo back in and I don’t know what she did but it was perfect. So, we did the strand test and I was so nervous for the next day coloring session.So, now is the color appointment!!! Ahhh!!! I was so nervous but I really felt like I was in good hands at this point. So, I get there at 10am and she gets started! After balayaging, root coloring, and all the rest of the magic she did I was shocked. I’m not saying I went home and cried but I went home and cried. I felt like me again. I felt beautiful. CeCe made my hair lookbetter than I could even imagine. It’s buttery, luscious, soft, blended, and best of all not high maintenance. She really was able to get me back towards my natural color AND making everything POP with the blonde balayaging. It looked even better than the picture I showed her, I was just blown away. For the first time in a long time I woke up and actually looked at myself in the mirror without negativity clouding my mind. It really sounds so crazy but I’m serious. Body dysmorphia is no joke and it may seem like such a small change but it wasn’t. It was catastrophic. Years of not feeling like me and not knowing who I was anymore and hair changed that? I don’t know how but it did. I’m smiling more, I feel more confident in wearing things I otherwise wouldn’t because of how beautiful my hair makes me feel. This confidence CeCe helped wake back up in me is something that is truly priceless. THANK YOU

I love this salon!!!! GAB did such an amazing job on my hair, I went from a brunette to a blonde and then she did such a great job on the cut! So many people have given me compliments! I definately will go back and i have been referring BISHOPS to everyone I know!!!!!!

To be fair my son has a hairlick. But hair too long and scraggly.hair in back short but too long in front. Thank you. We liked hair cut on back of his head.But were told because of hairlick could not go shorter. But we have gone shorter at other places.....i will try and come back

I had a wonderful experience at Bishops. Christian colored my hair and was successfully able to take out most of the brassy tones from my previously box-dyed black hair. The staff is all very kind and welcoming and the time goes by fast from what a pleasure the staff is. I would highly recommend coming here for your next haircut or coloring adventure.

Amazing! I made a drastic hair transformation and the result was exactly what I wanted! I asked for a pixie cut (originally had long hair) so I was very nervous at first, but Cece did a phenomenal job! I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad haircut or stylist. Best prices and quality by far compared to other hair salon franchises. I had a stylist here( forgot her name) who gave me a great suggestion for a hair style about a year ago that I love and have kept ever since. All the stylists are always wearing masks. This place is awesome!

Don’t even bother unless you want the exact opposite of what you went in for. When the woman cut my bangs way shorter than asked for she told me to just flat iron them. Ok cool story I don’t even use heat tools on my hair. Save your money not worth it.

I went to Bishops on a recommendation because I was having trouble finding a hair stylist that understood what I wanted. When I walked into Bishops they got me in right away even though their computer was glitching and didnt have me on the books. The salon was clean, and there was only one other person getting their haircut while I was there. As an immune compromised person I felt very safe with their cleaning practices (which were listed on their website). I sat in the chair and asked for an androgynous style short cut, it was like they read my mind. I left that shop feeling more confident than I have felt in years. During my shampoo they used a curl specific, mostiure locking shampoo and conditioner that they sold in house. I bought both for a great deal and can now have that salon quality wash at home. The atmosphere, the experienced staff, and the quality of the cut has me recommending Bishops to everyone I know.

When you walk in youre immediatly greeted verbally and feel welcome! The atmosphere is awesome, slightly industrial and beautifully decorated. I absolutley love the clipper cut i got from Val. She also made me feel comfortable and i enjoyed the all around experience and cut from Miss Val. My partner and I will most defiantly be back!.High Quality at a decent price. Average price for a barber or salon cut. But better atmosphere and quality.

My favorite stylist at Bishops is Christopher. I have been going to him for 6 months now and I always leave 100 percent satisfied with the cut that he gives me. Chris is very detail oriented and can help you figure out the best cut for you. I have gotten lots of compliments on my hair since I have been going to him. I always wanted a hair salon that would be able to dye my hair the Ashe silvery blonde and bishops is the one!! They can look at any picture and dye your hair to the color you want. They’re friendly, real people who you can feel comfortable around. They take a lot of time and care washing your hair so that it can be healthy and strong. I always get my hair done by Christopher because he knows exactly what I want and remembers me when I walk in. I’ll be going here for a long time! :)
