Absolutely hands down, the best car buying experience I have had. I talked to Jeff over emails, texts, and phone calls to start the process of purchasing a 4runner. When I arrived, it was waiting out front for inspection. Everything was very well represented. When it was time to sign papers, it literally took all but 5 minutes. They didnt try to sell me on any extras and I REALLY appreciated that. Great experience!!

My first experience here was fantastic! I knew the vehicle I wanted, color and features. I wanted under 5 miles on the vehicle (basically just off the truck). I worked with my salesman and when it came in, I ran up with my checkbook to buy it outright. My salesman said they are running zero interest and talked me into using their money free. I liked it so much and still had the funds, I went to their sister dealership, Honda, and bought another car right off the truck 4 days later! They gave me zero interest on that. Life was great!A couple months back, I decided I wanted a truck. I met the salesman at Toyota and discussed what I wanted and needed and the color I wanted. He looked through the orders and one was coming in 10 days from that time. I told him I wanted it and I’d be by to get it. He was to call as soon as it arrived. The day arrived and my army green truck with a scoop hood arrived and my salesman called. I rushed home to get my checkbook, got a ride to Toyota (after all, I was driving my new truck home), saw my new truck less than 1 1/2 hours later, still covered with the new film, interior was still in plastic, sat down with the salesman and my checkbook, and when he started the paperwork and went to get the keys, come to find out the floor manager had traded the truck to another dealership from under us. I was completely blown away by the total rudeness of the manager, not even apologetic for what he had done. He was in fact, quite the jerk about it all. He said he could order me another but was not sure when it might arrive due to the pandemic.I will not be back to Toyota! I went over to Terre Haute Chevrolet and bought a Silverado LTZ shown in the picture here along with both my Toyota Sienna and my Honda Accord. So disgusted by the managers behavior. And that poor salesman, I feel sorry for him having to put up with that nonsense!

I have purchased many cars all over the country and this is by far the best experience I have ever had. Not only did they commit to the price advertised online, while other dealers jacked up prices because of the car shortage, they had minimal “extras” and everything was spelled out ahead of time. I drove 1200miles to pick up my car and it was worth it. I was in and out, done with my paperwork in under an hour. Special thanks to Jeff Sheets and the Toyota team of Terre Haute. Also special thanks to Jeff for checking up on me on my drive to and from Terre Haute. He really went over and above in customer service. I wish they were closer to me so I could get my son a car from them. I still might do that.

Probably one of the smoothest car purchases my wife and I ever had. A couple weeks ago I reached out to Jeff about a 4Runner that was listed in transit to their dealership. This was the week of Christmas and I had reached out to many other closer dealerships as well looking for a specific color/model. With it being so close to the holiday many dealers didn’t get back to me right away but Jeff was very fast at answering all my questions about the vehicle. You might think, “Sure, the guy is a car salesman, of course he’s going to be quick and all over you until you buy the car or he gives up.”. I never got that impression and felt 0 pressure to buy the vehicle. With Jeff’s genuine personality and friendly professionalism along with the great price (can’t forget that!) offered to us on the new 4Runner (and our trade) there was no question where we we were going to make our purchase! I forgot to add, we drove nearly 3hrs across the state line for this vehicle. Obviously that says something on its own! Jeff went above and beyond to make our transaction seamless, preparing everything for us before we stepped foot in the dealership. We were in and out in under an hour! I want to give a shout out to Dave in finance as well. Once again a 0 pressure experience going over interest rates and extended warranty options. We will definitely reach out to Jeff and staff on any future Toyota purchases!

Came in for an oil change, no appointment, the lube tech that worked on my car replaced missing hardware on my vehicle (splash shield) free of charge. He went above and beyond! I would highly recommend this place for quality service and fast turn around!!!

Bought a new truck today. Jeff was sincere and efficient. He communicated with us to get a lot of the info ahead of time. His genuine concern and attention to detail when showing us all the safety features of the truck made us very comfortable for the long ride home. I cannot speak highly enough of him and the staff that helped us complete the financial paperwork.

We to buy a used car cash. I knew amount they paid for it. So I go in the next day acting like I didn’t have enough money. Just trying to have fun. So the guy tells me their price (hit the floor) they actually doubled the price on a 16 year old car that they paid for it. So I sent a friend to make sure I wasn’t crazy. His price was 2000 more than what I was told. That’s really a-shame. Knowing that I see them at the auction every week. It’s just pitiful they hit hard at stimulus time. EVERYBODY GREEDY!!!! Never again.

Toyota of Terre Haute impressed us. They were never pushy and always answered our questions. We were deciding between Toyota and another brand even though we have had a Camry since 1996. We still love the reliability and price of the Camry, and Matt was incredible! He answered my husband’s endless questions with confidence and patience, and if he wasn’t sure, he found out. We test drove one day and came back the next. When we arrived, the service guy and several other sales people said, “welcome back”! From someone who is in sales, I really appreciate their extra effort to be friendly. You’ll never go wrong with a Toyota, and this dealership delivers great service!

I had service done on my car for the first time today since purchasing it and had a wonderful experience. It is a used vehicle and when I called to schedule an oil change they also let me know it had a recall they could fix the same day. They got me in the same week for my appointment. When I got there everyone was pleasant and kind. I waited on my car and it took even less time then quoted. I plan on taking my car back for service as needed and purchasing a newToyota there in the future!

We recently purchased a new vehicle from TTH and we were extremely satisfied with the work of their internet sales manager, Jeff S., in answering all of our questions and readying the transaction in advance. Being over three hours away, I was able to work out the deal with Jeff via text, email, and phone call; often times I would email after-hours and Jeff would still reply. We placed a deposit on the vehicle and when we arrived later that week, the vehicle was in the showroom, ready for us to take home. After our purchase, Jeff texted me that evening to make sure we had a safe trip home and then he sent a thank-you in the mail later that week. Great customer care. Coming from out of state to make the purchase, I cant comment yet on the smoothness of getting the title and in-state plates, but our initial transaction was superb. Well worth the trip.

The guys out here were so friendly and helpful! My fiancee received some bad gas from a station up the road a few miles and the tech at Toyota had her car working again within 2 days of drop-off and for a great price! They said they would even provide as much documentation and an alibi, if needed, should we pursue recourse with the gas station! For those wondering, the station we got bad gas from was Corner Stop.

This was a life saver. We were driving from MI to CO on Friday 6/19/2020 and experienced some car trouble that left us to grab a hotel room for the night and with no vehicle to complete our trip to see our daughter. I went on line the next morning (6/20/2020) to reserve a car with Enterprise to find that they had nothing that would suit my family. So I saw that this dealership did rentals. Luckily they had the Sierra, which was awesome. I made the reservation for 10AM and then called as soon as they opened to see if they could accommodate an earlier arrival. They DID. Whitney was fantastic and was very understanding and CALM! That was great as I was a bit stressed with my own personal car issue. The van and the entire trip was saved and we are so grateful to Whitney and you for helping us to see our daughter at Peterson AFB. I had a 3:30 appointment for my RAV4s 10,000 mile service. They were ready for me upon arrival. The vehicle was serviced while I waited in their customer lounge area.My only suggestion would be for the guest wifi password be given to customers who are waiting.

From start to finish, Toyota’s customer service was top notch! Anthony Zachary was a huge help. Not only do they treat customers well but they also have a fantastic product. This is my second time buying brand new from Toyota and I will continue to be a returning customer. I highly recommend.

BE SURE TO READ ALL PAPERWORK BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING! I was recently given about $4000 less for my trade than what was verbally agreed upon. I probably waited too long to bring it up, but when I went back in a few weeks later, they just pulled out the paperwork that I had already signed showing the lower amount and said they have no record of the other amount.

For weeks I have been searching online for a new car to upgrade to. I have came down to 3 cars and wanted to take a look first hand. One happen to ben the Toyota Camry. It started out fine, came and looked around the lot. Wasn’t bombarded with sales people which was great. Then about 15 - 20 minutes of looking an older gentleman came by to check up. As I was by the Camry. Told him was looking for a car on the beginning stages of seeing cars first hand. Instantly profiled as probable not going to be a sale. I asked about test driving two Different Camrys. Then he asked if I was considering buying That one today. Told him I not sure, and that I was starting my in person search of the car. The 3 types I wanted to see and try in person. Again being instant profiled of possible not being a sale and just looking. He decided to give a whole bunch of excuses. And his words exact “well if you not buying, then we like to keep the miles down on the cars, you can go look on our website for car details.” He wouldn’t even unlock one. Didn’t even offer to look at anything else and just went on with more excuses. There was 19 Camry on the lot (used and new). Didn’t even offer trying used one for a test drive that was a 2020. (Though I’m looking for new and wanted to test drive the new one). Again I could have drove it off the lot that day if I loved it but had 3 in mind I wanted to try and see in hand. (I’m from Indianapolis by the way and drove up for this nonsense)So watch what you say cause they will Profile you on half a sentence. Then don’t care and want you off the lot if your not going to be a sale that moment.

Staff was very professional and curtious and provided me the best deal on a used truck. My salesman Ryan Walters worked very hard to stay within my budget and answered all my questions. Thanks Toyota of Terre Haute .

DISHONEST !Went to purchase a car for my daughter out of state, salesman was Scott, put down a deposit $1,000, agreement on the price was fine, finishing up the paper work the next day they told me the car had sold to the owners daughter! unbelievable, and to top it all off we just bought plane tickets for her to pick up the car (fortunately we could cancel within 24 hrs )

Drove from Cincinnati to buy a certified Toyota Sienna. I had a great experience with my salesman, Jeff Sheets, and the car was in great condition when I got there. We had a misunderstanding about the extended warranty to which they were responsive and accountable. Also can’t say enough nice things about Jeff as he was responsive, honest, and transparent. He made the 5+ hour round trip worthwhile!

My AC was not working at all tech said I needed $1500 New system for refurbished parts or $3500 for OEM authentic Toyota parts.I asked for a diagnostic report with code Error that I could go off, they said that don’t exist, that’s the first Lie.I get home few weeks later I start doing my own work and find out I just need a 20$ part so I could have spent $1500 on nothing. I do not trust this dealership anymore and will not come back Ever and will tell everyone not to go to Toyota of terrible Haute.As an update to this review my wife received a phone call from Fred at Toyota He wanted me to call him. He went threw my file and understood all the miscommunication from the service provider to the technician who worked on my AC diagnostics and Fred gave me a full Refund. I didn’t even ask for it I was just going to let it be. So at least there is one Good person who is there at Toyota of Terry Haute Thank you Fred.

The staff was very courteous, friendly, and practiced what I thought were safe guidelines for Covid-19, including wearing masks (or at least mostly). But almost no customers in the waiting area wore masks, I was disappointed to find.

I purchased my new 2019 Toyota 4Runner approximately 2 months ago from a Toyota dealer in Indy. Unfortunately, when I called for service 2 days in a row and could not get an answer or return call. Thankfully I called Andy at this location. He not only returned my call within minutes, but was able to squeeze me in the next day AND get my issue fixed same day. Some kind of animal had chewed thru some wiring and caused all kinds of mishaps. Andys quick response, communication and fast service has earned himself a new customer for life! WORST experience EVER!!! I should have went with my gut feeling but I have to give KEVIN BURTON props because he was definitely a pushy salesman. Purchased a used 2004 Nissan Murano in late March and not even two months later found out it had a blown head gasket!!!! Car was running hot less than a month after I purchased as is. Theres no way this was unknown!!! So now this single mother that used most of her earned tax return for a vehicle have neither!!! But he has a sale!!!! First time ever buying from a car lot and will never do it again. Its really hard to find nice HONEST people today!!!! Thanks Toyota for assisting with making life a little bit more difficult for me!!! Im an honest person who is just trying to work to provide my children with more... This is A MAJOR set back for me. Because Im believing God will help me in some way I wont really speak how I feel but Lord knows this is just ridiculous how men take advantage of women more so in the car dealership business!!!

I bought my daughter a used car from this location. The car seemed to men a great fit. The dealership said it came with a 30 day bumper to bumper warranty. 5 days later I take it in to have the USB port repaired. At first the service department said they couldn’t fix it and it needed to go to another dealership. Then, after my wife told them that we only had they car 5 days, they called back and said they would take it to Bloomington to have it repaired. 2 weeks later it was fixed. They drove the car to Bloomington putting more miles on it than we did. They didn’t replace the gas. The iPhone charger was missing as well as a bottle of perfume. While the sales department went rather smoothly the service department has issues. I will not take any vehicle there again and I will not buy a vehicle there again because of this. I buy and trade vehicles a lot. They dropped the ball on this buyer.

Brandon in service department is completely arrogant! Does not need to be in customer service. Was asked why I keep bringing my truck there when they can’t figure out what’s wrong. Contacted Toyota directly, hopefully get some answers. But if you have a difficult issue and you take it here you can bet you’ll be met with a 15 year experience arrogant dude.

My wife and I just made our second Toyota purchase via Sales Associate, Jeff Sheets. On both occasions Jeff was very professional yet made you feel like part of the family. When we rented the vehicle from her, she always went out of her way to meet our expectations and helped us with any questions we had. I reserved a car 24hrs before my scheduled date, j received a call the next morning at 1030am stating that their last pickup time was at 1130am and could I come in a little earlier. I asked the gentlemen on the phone was there anyway someone could come pick me up he stated well I’ll have to call you back to see. He literally called back in one minute and asked for the address and stated again that he would have to call back and let me know if someone would come pick me up. I called back at 1121am NO ANSWER ! So I decided to wait, here it is now 1153, no one has showed up or even given me a call back. So unprofessional! This is a well known facility and for them to be this unprofessional I’m very surprised !

They wont deal, I have excellent credit and they wouldnt not lower my interest rate to make a deal. They must be getting kick backs from Huntington Bank or something but I will never buy a car here. On top of not wanting to sell cars they are also very rude, they make you feel like they dont have time for you. Go somewhere else to buy a Toyota! Youll definitely get a better deal somewhere else!

We scheduled an appointment to test drive a van and showed up to find the van out with another customer. The other customer put a deposit down but at no time were we asked if we wanted to put down a deposit. The dealership stated they asked when we scheduled appointment and had the audio recorded - the audio reportedly says that they asked if I’d like to put down a deposit but heard no response from me... they did not ask, this was an excuse.Living an hour away, we ended up wasting four hours of our time and gas money to sit at the dealership waiting for a test drive that never happened. My wife traveled there with two young children on her own while I was at work.Lesson learned, place a deposit on the vehicle if you’re interested and don’t trust the dealership to make good on their commitments.After speaking with the pre-owned sales manager about the situation, he said “he’d talk to the salesman and my wife to turn this around”... an hour later the van was sold. Nothing changed.I can’t speak to quality of vehicles or general service at this dealership but from our experience, there is room for improvement. My have just been bad timing but we were treated unfairly.

This is a wonderful place to buy and maintenance your car! All of their staff is very friendly and attentive and I have yet to have any problems! Ive had my car for 2 years and still absolutely love it!

I just had an amazing experience with the service department at Toyota of Terre Haute. My 2009 Highlander had a manufacturer design issue with an oil cooler pipe that failed in the extreme cold snap we had recently. The service department not only got it in ASAP but they also looked into having the repairs covered by Toyota. Wow is all I can say. Thank you for your efforts and taking care of your customers.

I was quoted to get the 4 for 3 pricing for set of four new tires on my Jeep Compass. I got original tires rotated with the intent on getting tires at Tire Barn if the suggested new tires before the Spring. Which Brandon Warnock did. He told me about the 4 for 3. That price is hard to beat. I left Toyota after telling Brandon I might get back with him. Wife and I got another estimate. Decided to go with Toyota. Scheduled an appointment the next week. Tires were installed. When I went to pick Jeep up and pay, Brandon told me he made a mistake. The offer of 4 for 3 was for Toyota vehicles. He was not aware of this. An oversight on his part. He was very professional and sincere. I didn’t get upset, because I could tell it was an honest mistake. I didn’t offer to pay for the 4th tire and waited to see what he offered to make the mistake compensated. He honored what he originally told me. Discount coupon for the 4th tire, minus a dollar. Shook my hand. Apologized and said, “I want to honor my word”. Wow! So refreshing to see in this day and age. I had never bought a car or had one serviced at Toyota. I will start getting service done at Toyota and not Chevy from this point on!Thank you Brandon.

Always did us right. They done negotiate much. I will say there prices are fair. They gave us a great trade in and sold there car below asking price. They gave us the car to drive while the application was going through. They took a big risk on us and were extremely nice. Worked with ryan walters. We bought a camery with all the fixings. Beautiful red leather and the paint is pearl. The last car we got there was $12,000 less than the same one in Avon. It was in better shape too. So cheaper and better looking. I will never buy from Indianapolis. This one is much better. That is why I will be a buying my next car here. You wont regret shopping here.

From the moment I walked in the door I received phenomenal customer service! The guys there are extremely nice, knowledgeable and seem to really care about the customer. It really helped when purchasing a new vehicle (that I love!) I will be going back to them th next time I buy a vehicle and I will be highly recommending them to my friends and family! I also like their place, it’s so customer friendly, has WiFi, TVs and a play room for kids. I’m confident I made a great choice with choosing them as my new automotive dealership.

In my opinion this is the best place in Terre Haute to rent a vehicle. Very friendly people to deal with.

Not favorably impressed. First time I took my new Prius in for service at 5000 miles, they told me it needed an alignment and gave me a ridiculous price quote. I went up the street to Tire Barn, where they do excellent alignment service, and they said it didnt need an alignment, and their price was about half what Toyota wanted to charge even if it did need to be done. I havent had it aligned, and 4 other Toyota service departments have done routine maintenance on it since, with none mentioning that it needed aligned and no sign of unusual tire wear.

Went to two separate car dealerships today, just looking basically,I was taken aback by the unkempt and ungroomed appearance the salesmen had.earwax and nose Bush didnt necessarily make me grab my wallet. Dealers need to beware,no wonder people are buying online!

Total let down. (poorly managed operation)

Being from Grand Rapids, MI I had to put a lot of trust in the salesman who was helping me with the truck I was interested in. Jeff Sheets was my sales consultant and not only did he become my trusted eyes and ears, he was genuinely interested in all the reasons I was interested in th vehicle and by the end of my 10 hour drive I came out with my dream truck, and a new friend. I would drive down there again just to have another such experience. Car shopping can be stressful let alone doing it from 300 miles away, but Jeff and his team made it a really cool story for me.

We were traveling home through Terre Haute and had car trouble. Jerry and the entire staff were very helpful and kind. He and the tech team listened to the engine. They gave us the space to assess our options and ultimately find a way to get our car towed home for repairs locally. They got nothing in return. If I have an opportunity in the future, I would make the drive back to do business here.

Purchased a car here and was less than impressed. Wish the dealership I normally deal with had a something that would of worked for me. Sales person was overly aggressive to the point of harassing me. I was told if I didnt purchase on a certain day, that per management the price would be jacked up $1,500 to $2,000. Also I was told by such sales person in every conversation that I was being ridiculous by obtaining my own financing thru my bank. That I must not care about my finances. Kept trying to push another bank on me (makes me wonder if kick backs are recieved). I dont understand why sales person would not be happy that he knows he has a buyer with financing ALREADY in place and a sale would be easy. Big shocker that 48 hours later the price of the vehicle did not get jacked up in price and I went to my RIDICULOUS bank and obtained my check and went and purchased it. The financial guy who did all the legal paperwork was friendly and I am happy with my vehicle. So just beware that not every sales person at this site will treat you with respect, and will try to belittle your financial decisions.

Traded up to a 2015 Camry which started poorly the day I picked it up, and was told had been setting on the lot a while and we had 30 days or 1000 mile warranty. Car set for a week due to having a Company car. Drove the car Fri. night and almost didnt get home, call dealership Sat. morning and was told to bring it in Tues. Camry in shop 3 day and so far unable to fix it. Car had been driven 3 days and in shop 3 days.Told sale I would like another car, picked a 2017 Camry with less miles. Was treated like I brought in a junker off the street, given less than I had paid for the car and only drove it less than 600 miles, less than 2 weeks. Very Poor sales management behind the wall. Never would come out and talk to me directly. Salesperson was good, his hands were tied. We feel it a used car has a warranty this deal should has started over from the beginning. Alan Ewer

I was a newly single mom who didnt know much about the world outside of my house. My credit was in the low 600 range. They told me I could only get one car on the lot which they charged $5000 extra for above what it was actually worth. They then told me only one bank would finance me which charged me 14% interest. I took the deal because I was desperate for a car and didnt understand it all. Since then, Ive had my oil changed there multiple times. Each time they would call me and say there was something wrong with the car. On more than one occasion, they said a headlight was out or my plate light was out. Headlights dont burn out quick enough to need to be changed at every oil change and my plate light was found to be unplugged. I have since learned my lesson, but I will never do any kind of business with Toyota again...which is sad because my ex and I have always bought Toyota vehicles.
