I had never been to this place and here lately I have only had Sundays off to spare so I scheduled an appointment on a Sunday to have a wheel alignment done. My appointment was at 11 and I did get there a little early. There was already 3 people there ahead of me and it did make me a little worried but I was only there for a little over an hour. Not only were they quick on the service they provided me with specific details and recommended a few things which was great. They were very friendly and even filled up my fluids and aired up my spare tired without even asking. I will definitely be going here more often. Plus what they charged was actually cheaper than what it had online.

We had a tire blowout on our travel trailer while on a road trip and wanted to get a replacement for our spare tire. Not only were the folks at Firestone open on a Sunday, but they got us back on the road with confidence in under an hour, saving the vacation we had spent months planning. Im forever grateful for the speed and quality of the service here.

Team was really helpful in even the free, simple task of checking the pressure in my tires and filling them up as needed. Didnt even need to prove having purchased Firestone tires... though my Bridgestone tires were obvious once they started the task.. it is great that they are willing to check and fill your pressure even for non- Firestone tire brands.. great job guys!

Good place to inspect vehicles! I took several autos there I was contemplate buying. The last one passed with flying colors. It only cost $10. And the last one was the only one that passed!

I noticed a screw in my front tire. I had never stopped at Firestone on Wabash Ave, but knew I didnt want to remove the screw. They removed the screw and informed me that it had not gone deep enough to cause a problem. They rotated my tires from front to back and charged me 20$ plus tax. Very clean, very quick, and very honest. This will be the new tire dealer for me and my family.

Used them years ago for my business fleet, but after a few problems, I stopped. Decided to give them another try, so I made an appointment for a simple tire balance and rotation. Was given an appointment for 2 days later at 2pm. I arrived at 2pm for my scheduled appointment, and imagine that? Employee showed no appointment scheduled for me, and then proceeded to basically tell me to get lost. I was told they had no time, and we’re way too busy for me. Okay, so now I have no time to bring you my business of 10 fleet vehicles that I’m sure would have really helped your business. There are many other shops in town that will be glad to take my money.

When another shop in town had a 2-3 hour wait just to plug a tire, the guys at Firestone had me in and out in under 35 minutes. The customer service was also extraordinary. I have the worst of luck with tires and have been a long-standing customer at another service shop, but I will definitely be back to the Firestone in Terre Haute for my next tire mishap.

Steve, Eric & the mechanics at this shop are fantastic. They keep you informed of the progress of the work & complete the job as quickly as possible. I really like that they dont talk down to me since I am a female bringing my car in. Other places I have gone to do. Firestone on Wabash has been my go to place for all issues & maintenance for the last 5 years.

Firestone is definitely a good place to take your car to.I went just to have my tires balanced because I thought that was why my car was bouncing, but it turns out I actually had a busted belt in one of my tires.So they got me a new tire, rotated and balanced the others, then checked all the codes on my car, cleared them, gave me an idea of what I needed to replace on my car still, gave me an estimate for an alignment and a full diagnostic test.And the price wasnt bad either.Im very satisfied with the service that I received there today.Even though I showed up 15 minutes before they closed, they were still very good to me and took care of what needed to be taken care of.

Customer service is second to none. The radio I like this business, is because they seem to be in all cities. If I have a warranty issue, they are able to help my family and I will on the road. Also, they have a no interest card for six months if the repairs are going to be extensive. I enjoy the convenience while traveling. Great operation.

Service has really gone downhill. They do work not authorized and dont do work that is asked. This really saddens me.

I brought my car here for an oil change and was shown a picture on the service managers phone and was told my drive axel was in bad condition and needed to be replaced soon. This was my first time using firestone. I have a trusted mechanic so took it to him for some brake work knowing that he would tell me if there was a problem with the axel. He never mentioned it so I asked him and he said it was fine. I called the store manger at firestone and told him what happened and he asked me to bring the car in and we would look at it together. I did and he showed me a joint in the middle of the axel and said that was where the problem was and it definitely needed replaced or it would leave me stranded shortly because it was in such bad condition. I took it back to my trusted mechanic and showed him the spot. He informed me that it was just a rubber piece that had nothing to do with the axel being in bad condition. I do not trust this place and will not be returning as a customer and hope others read this before they get ripped off.

Very fast and efficient. Called to see if I needed an appointment before just showing up, and they said to come on in! They diagnosed and fixed my problems that day! Very reasonable prices as well! Firestone is a very bad place to get your car fixed. They are liars and they create more problems to your car. I have a 2004 Honda Accord and I got my viper motor and rack and pinion fixed and spent $1300. They created extra problem after fixing. Now when I accelerate I listen to some weird noise and when I change lanes my alignment is not good. When I take it back for an inspection they say it’s something which they did not do. My car was absolutely fine before giving it to Firestone. They messed it up. I am completely dissatisfied with what they did and will never recommend anyone to choose Firestone. Bloody cheaters .

Well use to think Firestone was a fair and honest place to take your vehicle until recently. To replace a fuel pump it was gonna cost me over a thousand dollars plus 107 just to diagnose what I already confirmed, in a 97 chevy lol called Sir Thomas auto repair 550 and a 3year warranty for the same thing. Makes me wonder if Ive been robbed the last few times Ive gone through them. Oil changes and tire rotations are all their good for.

Good service but they over charge for parts

This store sent my family and I out on the roads with a worn out tire, they even checked two boxes that said the tread had been checked visually. When it started to noticably have problems on the interstate we took the car to another Firestone, they could not believe that they had said the tire was balanced and road worthy! I would think twice before ever trusting them!

I have been going to these guys for many years and they do a great job. I have had major work done, long-trip prep, regular maintenance, boat trailer work, etc. They always treat me well and their work has always held up. They do a good job for me on both my cars

I went in for an oil change, fuel filter replacement, and Freon refill. Unfortunately, they were unable to replace the fuel filter for fear of breaking my ancient fuel line. But, considering the circumstance, the mechanics were polite, professional, and never pressured me into getting additional services.Other notes:Labor is ~$50/hr based on my billI scheduled a week in advance, but I still ended up waiting 45 minutes for my car to start getting serviced.Overall, I think this is an good place to go in Terre Haute standards.

Notice loss of pressure in brakes, called firestone. Got jerked around about my appointment for a week. Finally get seen yesterday, single blown brake line. They refuse to replace the blown line unless I get additional work done totaling 1500. Told him to just do the tires and call the tow truck to get the truck back to my home. 5 hours later Im still there and my truck has been lowered in the bay for 3 of those hours. It took harassing the attendant to get the tow truck called. After all of this I took the advice of another reviewer and called dons, total cost for just the needed work of new brake lines was just under 250.

Liars. I have gone to firestone in multiple states and have spent thousands. This is by far the worst I have ever been too. I went there last week for new tires and alignment. Simple enough. They put the tires on and then told me they could not align the back due to the rear end bearings. I couldnt believe it as they seemed fine with my experience. So I took it to Adams garage. Had them check it. Sure enough they were perfect. Firestone literally lied to upsell me. Not to be trusted.

Fantastic service, highly recommend. They worked me in at the end of a very busy day and get it turned around right before they closed.

We have been loyal customers for over 10 years and then they messed up an oil change. We started hearing a noise in our engine and brought it back in and they repaired for free. Receipt says there was a leaky oil filter and it was low on oil. Noise got worse and we took it back and they said there was nothing they could do and any claim was out of our hands. Dons Service Center says the timing chain is bad and there has been damage to the engine after running low on oil. Put in a claim with Bridgestone corporate, and without talking to us and taking a month, they denied. Not only will they lose us as a continuing customer, we are taking them to court. We have nothing but good things to say about Dons Service Center and how they have helped us through this difficult time.

PLEASE HEED MY WARNING!!Here is the story: I was about to travel home for break (I am a college student) when I realized I had no hydraulic pressure on my brakes (my car would not stop). I brought it into Firestone for them to check out what the issue was. They said I needed the following:-2 blown brake lines replaced-2 wheel cylinders repaired-brake hose replacement-brake light bulb switched-head light blub switched-license plate light bulb switchedAll for a grand total of $925. As a college student (or anyone for that matter), this was a hefty bill. After reading their reviews, I saw they have added issues on cars in order to get more money from other people in the past. Worried I was getting swindled, I price-checked with a different local mechanic shop, Dons Service Center, and found that the issue was not as severe and it would only take $540 to fix my car.HERE IS THE TAKEAWAY FROM THIS STORY:Even if your car breaks down in the Firestone parking lot, it is cheaper (and probably safer) for you to tow your vehicle to Dons Service Center and have them fix it.
