I arrived 6 minutes before they closed to return a drill and bits. Very courteous. I asked the location of two different items. I was not pushed into making a quick decision. I actually purchased three items. Cashier as well as manager had customer service excellence.

I always like shopping at Harbor Freight. They have a lot of interesting things there. Every kind of tool you can think of. Most are kind of average tools for the homeowner that are affordable but not necessarily the pros choice, but some are certainly worth a second look and are becoming stiff competition for the top name brands. I like that! I can also always find deals on things like magnets and flashlights which my grandson loves!

They always have courteous people that help me with what ever I need. .

Harbor freight tools have come a long way in the 15 or so years theyve been in terre haute. Most hand tools now carry a lifetime warranty and quality has come a long long way. The maddox tool line has yet to fail me, been using them now for the past 3 or so years. Great products to at very affordable prices.

The workers were helpful in finding the things I was trying to locate. Prices are great! Some stuff is kinda hard to find I think if they placed some of the smaller items in plain view it would be easier to find.

Great for quick tool stop and go

This store has every essential element needed from start to finish your projects. Drills, bits, routers, planers, sockets, hoists, harbor freight carrys it all. Most impressive was staff who were numerous and made coupons work to the customers advantage. My trip was a pleasure.

So so, its not bad, freindly staff, most know whats going on, and a few that are clueless, but you have that everywhere.

Always busy. They rearrange the whole store. Now I cant find anything quickly. Found a cheap bike pump for daughter tho.

They have lost me as a customer for good. I returned an item that didnt work. His response it doesnt work for the job he was doing or doesnt work in general? Im a women, I bought the tool for me to use. Its 2021 and men still dont take women seriously.

Nice store just out of what i needed

I just left Harbor Freight Tools. I needed shims or wedges and after looking where I figured they would be I could not find them. So I asked the younger dark haired cashier at the front. He told me to look in the 4th aisle, so I did. I could not find them so I asked the cashier again. He told me to look in the 6th aisle, so I looked in the 6th aisle. I could not find them there! So I asked the cashier if he could help show me. HE TOLD ME TO LOOK IN AISLE 4 again....... after doing this I asked the Cashier if there was any other employees working that could help me. He used his ear thing to ask someone. But I asked if someone could come help me not if he could ask another person. Long story short I went to Menards asked the first employee I seen and they took me right to what I needed. I will be canceling my credit card at Harbor Freight after this. Have fun playing on your phone some more man.................

I stopped in to find some items I could not find in my local store. They had most of the items.They DO NOT have vinyl gloves, but that is okay. They had a sign up stating they had just donated their entire stock of the gloves to front line workers. Big selection of tools. Sometimes its hard to find an employee but when you do, theyre knowledgeable and friendly.

I really like Harbor Freight stores but my experience was not good. I was really needing help for getting wiring hooked up on trailer I was hauling and the fellow told me what isles stuff was on and that was the extent of any help. I will not shop at that particular store again.

Never expected to get such good quality for a cheaper price Im just mind blown I bought a 3/8 impact wrench battery charger 80 bucks has 325 foot pounds per inch go to anywhere else and try to buy one youre going to spend over two hundred bucks do the same thing that the other one is doing for me now very impressed by Harbor Freight

They had a couple items I wouldnt have expected to find there and at a great price! Id been looking for these items but never purchased them because of the expense. Now I have just what I needed. Thanks Harbour Freight!

I always come here to check for items I need before I go anywhere else, they have unbeatable prices.The last time I went in the store manager let a man in front of me use a coupon that had expired a day earlier, true costumer service.

I have been going to the Harbor Freight here in town (Terre Haute, Indiana) ever since they opened their doors.I have NEVER had a problem in the store as I have found any employee I have talked to friendly and willing to go out of their way to assist me.If I had an issue with an item, the store has been most helpful in replacing it.Some of the negative reviews I’ve seen on here are a joke. (I am talking Harbor Freight reviews over all, not only my local store)This company is doing their best to deliver a good quality tool with quality customer service. Both for a very good price compared to the big name stores and brand name tools.People are expecting to have the best of both worlds. Unbeatable price and unbeatable quality with customer service that only HRH Queen Elizabeth would receive.If you want to be pampered and you want perfect quality tools every time be prepared to pay for it and go somewhere else. I had a little trouble with a generator. The store in Terre haute didnt have a replacement, but the store in Matoon did. So I had dealings in both stores on the same day. The personnel and the managers were both very polite and very professional. I am extremely happy with the service and outcome. Thank you Harbor Freight.

The folks at Harbor Freight were absolutely professional & knowledgeable. Not only were they helpful in finding me the items I wanted but helped as well with finding me discounts and getting me on the mailings for those coupons. Ill definitely be going back in for more tools and I may even take thier suggestion of joining the Inside Track Club. The down side to that is, though there are many savings to he had, its only on specific items and I may not find a coupon for the next few tools I want. Ill certainly be thinking it over as I shop their website and plan my next trip to the shop.

My fiance loves this place especially the flyer & coupons + lastly freebies with a purchase.

They ask if you found everything, and Michael says its over there of we have any, not very helpful, just want you in and out.

We absolutely love going there. Nice, clean and great helpful staff. We probably spend more money there then we need too lol. It just has everything we need to get our little home work shop going at great prices.

Today was my first day to go into a Harbor Freight and it was a very good experience as I was asked three times if I needed help finding anything .. which I did .. and when what I was looking for was not to be found the gal looked it up on their website to see if they carried something similar. Very nice.

I love HF! Great selection of tools but sooo many other things too. If I have an hour to kill I like to just wander around and see what I might find (and I usually do find something).

A great place to get tools at a reasonable price. I havent been disappointed, yet. Im sure its only a matter of time, but the store is very clean, the tools are in great shape and the customer service is second to none. All staff try to find you the best deal, at the same time, try to get you the best warranty. Give them a try.

Always find more then we expected

At one time, I liked going there. Not so much anymore. Never have anything thats on flier. Dont even ask if you can have the display. If Im gonna have to order something it sure as shit isnt gonna be from here.

We were greeted when we walked in the store which is nice and the associates are walking around the store assisting customers find things! But the manager standing at the front checkout announces to the other employees that he is in over time and they have only made $1500.00 for the day so he is going home... I dont think that should be discussed in front of customers! I also do like that I am a inside track member but I still have to clip the coupons to get the sale prices that they have displayed on the products, if you dont clip you pay full price...

Harbor freight is a crapshoot if theres an item youre looking for that you may only use once or twice ever and its much more expensive to buy a fancy brand name versus an item from Harbor freight but the prices 1/3 then its an absolutely fantastic feeling paying 10 bucks versus 30 bucks and still getting the job done some of their products are clearly junk while other products have held up well in my garage with weekly use if youre a professional buy professional tools if your just looking for something to get the job done and likely wont use it that often Harbor freight is a great place to pick up items for very discounted prices but at the end of the day remember you get what you pay for.

If youre a hardcore mechanic youre not going to get your tools here. If you dabble in your garage this could be a place for you. Some items are good deals and other items arent, you have to learn to differentiate.
