Went into Verizon store today for a new phone and came out with two new IPhone 13’s, one for me and one for my wife. Cole, our support/sales agent was fantastic. Old phone data was quickly copied onto our new phones. The process went smoothly and efficiently thanks to Cole’s outstanding service.

Whoever was working November 2nd at closing time is very rude. We got there at 6:08, online Verizon says this location closes at 8. This girl locks the door in our face right as we reach the door, no smile, no im sorry, she just walks away. So we notice theres a temporary sign taped up that says they close at 6pm for now, thats fine, yall got your reasons. But change what it says on google maps so we dont waste a trip. And hire someone with some sense and decency to look us in the eye, care, and be able to say sorry we are closing early. Because what my wife and I just went through is uncalled for.

There was a little bit if a wait, to be expected following a hurricane, but the associate that was in the store was awesome! He took great care of us, helped get my phone set up and treated us like we were the only people in the store. 5/5 will be using this as my main store from now on.

I had about the worst retail experience at this location that I can remember. If I could give no stars, I would.I ordered a device to add to my Verizon plan about a week ago and today called in to confirm that it had been delivered (it was).I arrived at 5pm and reminded them about why I was at the store- the manager assured me that he remembered, etc.I was then told to sign in to wait my turn. I stupidly waited until 8:15pm thinking there was a process they had to do I order to link my device to my account- why else would they make me wait three hours while they let people paying their bills jump the line?Basically, at 8:15 they charged my card for the tax on the device, give it to me, and tell me I can go…. They made me wait three hours, knowing why I was there, for a five minuet transaction. When I noted I had been there for three hours when the manager mentioned the wait the other clerk thought it was the right time to point out that it hadn’t quite been three hours at that point…My advice to Verizon customers: avoid this place like the plague. The people managing the store can’t seem to handle customers efficiently at all. They will stand there and small-talk or work on their personal phones while the customer they are “helping” is on hold on the phone with another carrier, ignoring everyone waiting. I sure hope these guys don’t get paid hourly- if nothing else they are screwing the company out of hours of excess “work” time while making everyone wait. My trips to the DMV and USPS have been better.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and with people ready to help. Usually a normal visit into this store is an hour for me for something simple and this time I was in and out in under and hour! Cole was great; knew exactly what I was looking for even when I didn’t and was able to answer all my questions without hesitation!

There was one worker so the time in there was long, but she managed to help everyone. I needed a new phone and a couple before me were changing service and buying new phones. She also helped others in between while our phone were updating. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. Didn’t mind the wait. Casey was very helpful and pleasant.

Service was slow, as there was only 1 worker there (during Christmas - makes no sense) we were there a good hr & 1/2 before we were seen & then done, but worker was extremely nice & helpful. Wasn’t her fault she was alone in a store full of people at one point.

My husband and I got new phones a couple of months ago. Ours were on their last leg but our phone bill was already so high. The store told us we could trade them in and our bill would only be $2 higher per phone (our phones were worth more than we owned so they bought them from us essentially). Two months later our bill is $60 more. Not only is each phone $30 more, but apparently there was a promo on our bill that ended when we got new phones and they conveniently didn’t tell us. Now I’m stuck paying $300 phone bill and can’t get my phone back. Verizon said the store would’ve seen it and should’ve disclosed it.

Everyone was absolutely clueless and undertrained. Every question I asked the rep, she had to stop and ask the manager because she didn’t know. Don’t have representatives trying to sell me products the don’t know about. How am I supposed to make an educated decision if the person who’s trying to sell me the product isn’t even educated? There is no way that upgrading two phones should have take. 3-4 hours. If your employees don’t know how to use the system and complete transactions, they need to either be let go or sent back for more training. It took nearly an entire day to get two upgrades. Unacceptable. I had to tell the rep that I was not interested in having insurance on my device after it was put on my account without my permission. Shouldn’t that be my decision? I’m guessing she didn’t know that it would email me the second the insurance was applied to the account. Her face turned beet red when I addressed the fact that it was on there and I wasn’t asked. Never again. I’d rather make the trip to Houma. At least I’d be able to purchase accessories and charge it to my bill if I wanted.

I was helped over the phone by an awesome Technician Cole total repair time was 2 minutes,I had been having trouble with my phone, when I went to Houma store the technician was rude and shut door in my face. All my business will be at the Thibodaux store for now on. THANKS COLE,YOUR FRIENDLINESS AND HELP WAS MUCH APPRECIATED. .Sincerely and always a customer of Verizon .

My son’s phone continuously gets the message insufficient funds despite having unlimited data. An employee told me she could not help. I asked her if she could look at the account and told her that the Houma store helped me in the past by doing an account reset. She smugly replied, “This is not the Houma store.” She turned to her manager and asked for help. The manager was with another customer but told me she could give me instructions to do an account reset and went back to her customer and the employee originally helping me got up to help another customer. I had to ask again for the instructions. The manager helped me once again leaving her customer once again.This was my second visit. My first visit began with me walking in with intent to buy 3 new iPhones but instead I left with none. Unfortunately, the same smug employee “helped” me!No intentions of ever returning to this Verizon. I am at her drive anywhere else!!!

Don’t waste your time. And believe me, it will be a major waste of your time. A brand new store that is trying to run all transactions on a hotspot. It will take nearly 2 hours to get a simple upgrade because of how slow the internet is. Who opens a Verizon store with no legitimate wireless network? They keep saying “we’ll get internet soon” but it’s been over a month since opening and they are still running on a single “Jetpack”. They will also add insurance onto your account when you get a new device without telling you or asking you beforehand. I’ve seen a representative get called out for it and her response was “I was going to add it and go over it at the end”. Yeah right. Their commissions come from putting insurance on phones. Most of the time, it’s cheaper to just upgrade your phone than getting it fixed, anyway. Paying $13 a month for insurance completely unnecessary. The district sales manager is very shady. I heard him tell and employee to pretend his phone was unfixable so he could get a new one. Stay away from these third party Verizon stores and just go to an actual Verizon store. $3 to pay your bill? Ridiculous. One of the employees there is in her mid 40’s with little to no knowledge about phones or any kind of technology for that matter. She couldn’t even describe the difference between an iPhone XR and XS other than mentioning the camera over and over. My advice: go where the people actually know what they’re talking about in terms of Verizon and the products they sell. Stick with doing business directly with Verizon.
