Excellent. Always a pleasure to work with someone that exemplifies the luxury and practicality of Acura even though service. I greatly appreciate his respect for my schedule and transparency in addressing which services are necessary at the time. Leo consistently meets and exceeds my expectations without my having to make a request so I always know things will go smoothly. He also handles multiple customers in a way that doesn’t delay my customer experience and his efficiency and effort are clear. The loaner cars provided are also always well suited to meet my needs, albeit sometimes I’ll admit to wishing the service took just a little longer with them! There are very few professional services and people that I choose to recommend, but with his genuine effort over the years, Leo Ibanez has earned a place on that list.

The salesman Aron was terrific. It was really by chance that we purchased at Acura of T.O. but they had the used sedans we were researching and the car we selected was in like-new condition. Plus its certified. The time it took to get our keys and drive off was a bit off-putting but I think that might be the case at most dealerships. Overall a good experience.

Aron W. was an AMAZING sales consultant. Initially, my son went down to Acura of T.O in May-2021 to see what models were of interest to him. He met Aron and later spoke very highly of him. That afternoon, Aron left me the kindest message about my son and described what the two of them had discussed. There was something about Arons kind message that made me keep his message and tel # for a future date. That date turned out to be last Wednesday. During our initial telephone call, I knew that Aron was who I wished to deal with. A few hours later, I met with Aron who then introduced me to his store Manager (Steve) who also was wonderful. We then had about a 15-minute pleasant no-nonsense conversation about how we could put a deal together, and the three of us did just that. I was very happy with the deal that I made and eagerly began the paperwork process which was painless. NO ATTITUDES there! Car salespeople often times are feard (just like lawyers), that they are going to take advantage of me or worse, act like they are doing me a FAVOR by letting me buy a car from them. I have seen many lazy sales people act in such a way. Not at Thousand Oaks Acura though! This is the second car I have purchased from this dealership and I am glad that I did not have to go elsewhere.Hats off to Aron W. and those who were smart enough to hire him as part of their team!Do not bother going anywhere else.

I contacted Sebastian about an INFINITI they just received, he was very knowledgeable, helpful and test drove the car for me before I drove down. He answered all my questions and took some photos as I asked for. I made an appointment and drove 3 hours and the car was exactly as he described. All the staff were very friendly and I would not hesitate to purchase another car from them in the future. They are a no pressure dealer which made the purchasing process even better! It’s conviently located near a few shopping centers where you can kill time since if you’re like me I always wait for my car to be serviced. I had a very professional experience from the moment I spoke to the people at Acura of thousand oaks on the phone... until I drove off the lot with new rims for my 2005 Acura TL. Sam Ruiz from the parts department was very patient and knowledgeable. I spoke to every Acura dealership in Ventura county, but thousand oaks Acura was the most helpful and interested in my business. When I got there I was greeted by friendly helpful people and I was updated throughout my time there on the status of my vehicle. I would definitely make the trip back to Acura of thousand oaks .

Thus far, car is acceptable. Not disappointed with the purchase or price. Satisfied that the manager honored our price.However, did not appreciate how the salesmen, though very kind and helpful, kept standing too close when it was quite clear that I was attempting to maintain distance (due to Covid) via body language.It was minor though. Do not take my review as a “no-deal.” This is a very good dealership, salesmen are honest, and the manager is a straight shooter, one can tell.I, myself, should have verbalized that I would like to maintain more distance. So that is also on me.But thanks to everyone at this dealership for their help.

I had a very positive experience with the entire team at Acura of Thousand Oaks. The two sales reps that I worked with, Darius and Aron, were friendly, personable, knowledgeable and accommodating. They answered all of my questions and were not aggressive or pushy at all. When I brought my wife down to see if the car would also meet her needs, they were welcoming to her and made her feel part of the Acura of T.O. family. After the purchase was complete they both took me through the vehicle operations and made sure I understood that I could make an appointment to come back any time with questions. Chris and Melanie, the managers, also did a great job of making me feel welcomed and important, and negotiated with me in a calm and respectful manner. The finance person, whos name I cannot remember, also did a great job of explaining the various warranty and service enhancements available to me and helping to make one of them meet my needs. Very pleased with the service from Acura of Thousand Oaks. However, I am not satisfied with my MDX from a reliability point of view. Apparently, the fan and fuse for cooling the battery were malfunctioned at 55,000 miles. In my opinion, this should be considered as a defective part and should be covered under factory warranty. The cost to repair is substantial.

For 2 1/2 years I have complained about intermittent problems with the entertainment/phone system in my RDX. They cannot find the problem.Recently at dealership and they could not duplicate the problem. A day later it is back.Acura - Corporate -- has acknowledged the same problem; but since local dealership cannot hear it; they will not perform any work. They claim to have fixed MOST connection; but Acuras own service bulletin says you cannot fix connectors; the entire harness must be replaced.I had a long conversation with service writer who indicated he was not authorized to do any further work.The fact Acura (Corporate) recognizes the problem and has further issued an extended warranty on the issue tells me this is pure politics at the local dealership. NOT GOOD TO TRY AND HAVE WARRANTY WORK COMPLETED AT DEALERSHIP NOT RECOGNIZING THE ISSUE DOES EXIST!!

Was so rude and unprofessional!!.. she made me feel as if I was bugging and in the way. She didnt care that I was a new customer and was willing to purchase a New car. I took my 2015 Acura RDX in for a B1 service. I declined the free car wash and we were done in about 30 minutes. The service agent was friendly and got me checked in and out in record time. I have taken my car there since I bought it 5 years ago and was always impressed with the professionalism of their staff. I have taken my car for service to T.O. Acura for years. Typically, customers receive shuttle service to a nearby location if the car will be there for a few hours or more. When I made my appointment, I was not told that the shuttle service was discontinued due to COVID. If I had known that, I would have selected a different day and/or made other arrangements. Since I was not aware of this change, I had to pay for a Lyft ride to and from work. Of course, the Lyft driver and I wore our masks and I sat in the back seat as the driver shuttled me to my job. My other concern is that I presented a service coupon that the service person acknowledged before I walked out to get a ride to work. When I came back I met with a different person and the discount (which did not cover my Lyft fees) was not listed on the invoice. While the second service person applied the discount and printed a new invoice, I was disappointed the original worker did not put it on the invoice. I know that Mazda does not use a shuttle service, however, they do arrange, and pay for, Uber for customers. Not a big deal at the end of the day but I was fortunate I did not have time constraints. A little better communication would have helped me make a decision on date and time.

I recently ordered a new FOB for my 2020 Acura after I could not locate mine. Keith, the parts manager, was able to take care of me over the phone. The next day I found my lost FOB and cancelled the purchase. Keith again took care of me over the phone. He credited my credit card and cancelled my appointment to have the FOB reprogramed with the service department. Additionally Keith did not charge me a restocking fee which in my experience would have been customary to do. Keith’s prompt care and kind gesture will bring me back to Acura of TO again.

I was fearful to take my car into the dealership when the B2 service light came on. My car was running perfectly fine, but I know its due for a service so completely understand taking it in. While the customer service was kind and polite, there were numerous issues.1. after my tires were rotated I was told there would be cupping and I should expect sound while driving, (this is understandable and a real thing sometimes, but still discouraging since it was ok before)2. when driving home there was a terrible rattling in the air conditioner. I called in when I got home and was told it was probably the cupping, I explained it was definitely the air conditioner because the sound went away when I shut it off. I went back into the dealership and the technician confirmed that there was debris in it from when they checked the filter.3. I was told the battery had a good charge (the Multi-Inspection indicator showed green just turning yellow), my cars battery died 3 days later.4. I had AAA come to replace my battery today, they told me that strange sound I heard was my alternator not working and they were shocked the dealership did not catch it. Now I am in the process of finding the time to replace the alternator and cannot drive my car even with the new battery because it will drain it.I would say 2/5 because everyone was nice and the service was quick and easy to schedule, but bottom line, the most important part of the experience is the service itself, and this was a complete and utter let down. My exact concerns came true.

Just shopping for odd parts but greeted and treated like a NSX buyer. Three friendly conversations to start a new year.Follow up is still 5 stars...two exchanges in the last year. Both exceptional. A radiator suddenly failed on my 20 year old TL. Parts guy understood I was do it yourself wrenching my car and wasnt going to buy 400$ original replacement. He suggested a second hand source which made it possible to keep running. Likewise the car was recalled for the airbag check which the manufacturer is obliged to verify safe periodically. Service included a maintenance review plus a car wash and vacuum. The service manager understood Id been personally maintaining the car for my step daughter and so made clear what was critical versus nice-to-address without a sales pitch. All the staff treated me like a new car customer though I am clearly just getting along. Consistently, very nice people.

Made an appt. to bring in our Acura MDX to look at some buttons on the steering wheel which for some reason were not working, along with taking a look at our headlights which were cloudy and scratched. The first service rep. came out and we gave him our name, and confirmation number which he said (Ian) would assist us......waited for him to finish up with what he was doing and when he spoke to us he asked us everything that the first rep asked. We gave our name and appt. time again and why we were there. Ian became passive-aggressive when it came to talk about the headlights and said that was not a covered item under our extended coverage and we would have to call HQ if we wanted them replaced. Ian also spoke the same way when he called my husband.After the buttons were checked out, Ian called and said it was an internal set up and the car was ready.. Upon pick up Ian was too busy to show us the correct set up, car was brought up by a technician and we were checked out by another service rep.We referred to our vehicle manual and set up the internal computer for these particular buttons ourselves.Very disappointed in the customer services which was provided, as we didnt not feel like our business was appreciated.As far as the headlight covers, we ended up having our vehicle detail company take a look and they ended up making them look brand new.

It was a pleasant experience with Acura of Thousand Oaks, which I have received right before the New Year 2021. Not only service advisor Ryan Howell was extremely helpful, polite, and accurate, the whole service took exactly the time it was expected, and it was done on a highly professional level. I am very pleased with the service of Acura dealership and the people, who is working there. I am leasing the third car in a row through this dealership, and I am glad to have such business in my neighborhood.

Price of the car I purchased seemed fair and I was able to get one that was certified for price range that I was comfortable with. Staff are courteous and friendly. Aron was very friendly and helpful. However everyone else made poor judgement and mistakes and caused great grief and had me do bunch of work to proove payment went through and yet they still had me wait 10 full business days before I was able to pick up my car, because I paid with a check and did not go through financing. Finance was especially poor in handling this as he ran credit check without telling me and gave me bs excuse about how everyone is allowed to run a credit check at least once a year (incorrect if dealer does it) and ran hard credit check vs soft all the while Manager told me they would only be calling my bank to verify funds were available before processing check and did not mention credit check at all. Again, I was NOT financing. They told me if i did this and that and such and such, that I would be able to pick up my car earlier than 10 business days. I called my bank and did 3 way call and had finance manager explain to my bank what they needed to provide to the dealer. My bank provided that info and after all that work both my bank and I did, they still did not allow me to pick up my car. Why even have us do jumping through hoops if you are still going to say no.
