Great experience with store staff except the textbook guy just hung up on me when I asked for Manga.

This is seriously the best campus bookstore I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They ship and deliver books extremely quickly, and all books I have needed have been in stock. They also process returns pretty quickly. After dealing with some difficult campus bookstores elsewhere, I can say this one by far is the best.

Nice store, well organized, but highly expensive!!! I only bought 2 books and ended up paying almost 500 dollars and one of the books was just to rent!!... I couldnt imagine if I was going to school full time and had to purchase books from here, luckily I only have 3 classes. I see why ppl say get your materials online!!!💯

I walked into a clothing store not a Barnes and noble

I ordered my textbooks through this location online. They failed to deliver my books, failed to give me an order confirmation, but were more than happy to run my credit card anyway. When I reached out to customer service they were less than helpful because they can only search through their orders using the same criteria as their publicly accessible website. Goodbye Barnes & Noble hello Amazon.

The B&N has everything you need for campus life from textbooks to wall decor! Youll find a great selection of spirit wear, too. They are a bit on the pricey side but the savvy shoppers will fine some pretty good deals🙂

We had just had our tour of The University of Toledo, and we were going to Barnes & Noble to use our 25% off coupon the University gave us to go get some U of T wear, and man did they have the goods, they have such a huge array of great stuff from Sweatshirts, Rain gear, tank tops, to key chains and U of T cups. This Book store has it all!

Customer service is top notch. Book selection is great! Be aware that there is NOT a Starbucks location inside despite the signage outside. They only SERVE Starbucks coffee. Minor quibble in an otherwise great place!

I mean its just an average book store with a Starbucks in it. Its not really meant for getting books for leisurely reading but more for getting textbooks and some UT merchandise. Its nothing special, but they do a good job with it.

Kristina was such a wonderful help. She helped us look up our sons schedule and helped us with books. Very nice place!

My experience here was so HORRIBLE I refuse to buy textbooks here ever again. I bought a book online for an engineering class I was taking. I couldnt open it on my laptop so I went and wasted an hour at the store for them to only give me the wrong book. I went back a week later when I realized their mistake. I spent nearly three hours with them messing with my account, redoing the purchases again and again only to tell me the textbook was no longer in publication. I understand that this wasnt the stores fault and dont blame them for that. My customer service was AWFUL though!!! The kids working there were more concerned about talking about their weekend plans and gossiping than being professional and taking my concerns seriously. They did more standing around than trying to help me. When I asked for a manager and complained about my experience was the only time that any work got done. Plus, I had to go back to the store another time to actually get my money back since they did so many transactions with the wrong book and had to call me to tell me they screwed up. I only shop at Rockets Bookstore now since they are much friendly and the prices are much better.

Selection very limited. Super focused on the students at UT and not traditional book lovers or average Barnes & Noble customers. More UT gear, text books, and electronics than anything else.

Realize that the University of Toledo bookstore was with in Barnes & Noble. Looked to purchase a gift card for somebody that would be at UT this fall, none of the gift cards said University of Toledo. I think thats something that could be easily rectified.

The gates that they put up around the parking lot to keep students from parking there just make it harder and more stressful for customers to find parking. who thought it would be a good idea to build a strip plaza next to a college campus and expect students not to park there

Pretty pricey to say the least. This store has a great number of books though and a very chill atmosphere. UPCOMING STUDENTS just buy your college textbooks through Amazon and save yourself a couple hundred bucks. My bill exceeded $600 for the first semester.

Located in the great business area of the University of Toledo Ohio...The area is called Gateway and they have large parking lots.The Bookstore sells snacks and drinks..teaCoffee. cookies etc as well as Reading materials.Meaning that you can read as well as take refreshments.tea

Expensive, but the staff is nice and its on campus. I like the locally owned book store down the road better, but this place has more books for my classes.

This book store is an awesome place to go and chill or do some schoolwork. Theres a Starbucks right in the store and tables with charging outlets for your computer, tablet, etc. The prices on the book and other item are a little bit high, but there is a huge selection of books and other stuff to choose from.

Has just about every thing you could ask for. The staff was very helpful in finding the information I needed.

The books are sold at an immense markup and the availability is hit or miss at times. If it is your only option, the staff provides very good service in helping with what you need. Some special University of Toledo gear is nice too

Would give 0/5 if possible. They don’t have the books needed for your courses by the second week of the semester, and then apparently have a 6 week turn around to get more. This bookstore taught me that you can be out of ebooks... I never realized that would be possible, but I guess that’s the most valuable that comes of this place. The manager is rude, and extremely unhelpful. If you want to get good service and a better price on books, go to the small bookstore on the Bancroft side of campus. They actually keep the materials you need for you classes plus they are a couple dollars cheaper, and the employee are super friendly. :) The girl at the desk offered to grab the book for me and I was in and out in less than 10 mins.

To be honest, I dont normally like leaving g negative reviews. However, the staff was really rude to me yesterday and I left feeling unhappy!

The first week of class I went to get my books and spent an hour and a half finding everything I needed. I had a problem with my financial aid and they said theyd hold everything for me, failing to tell me they only hold your stuff for one day. After getting my financial aid figured out I went back to get my books and was told they didnt hold my stuff. After wasting another hour of my time, finding out they didnt have 2 of the books I needed anymore as well as the printer I was going to get, I complained to them and all I received was a look and a sorry. They didnt help me out in any way, shape, or form. I mentioned that my total was almost $150 more than it wouldve been had they held my stuff for me, and even at that point they did nothing for me, not even a discount. On top of it all, this made me late for class. The customer service was terrible.LONG STORY SHORT: I recommend that you buy your books online. You may not be able to use financial aid when getting books online, but theyll be cheaper and you wont have to deal with crappy customer service.

Went to turn in my rented books at 830 on a Friday but it was closed. The posted time online was 10 but on the door it says closed at 8. Not very convenient for people who live an hour away 🙄

Went to pick up my cap and gown and the man on the second floor was SO rude and unhelpful. So was one of the women sitting at a table. He had white hair and classes and was so incredibly rude and mean. Glad I’m graduating so I don’t have to come back

Ambiance is really good. Little expensive for international students.

Never the cheapest, will not price match rentals, used books, or books with online codes. They will only price match new books without codes, so basicly a very small amout of items. Amazon and Chegg always have best prices. Customer service is also pretty bad, and the checkout lines are always long.

I ordered a used book as soon as I knew what books I needed to purchase so I could save a little money. The book was still 100 bucks. They gave me a book that had extremely unreadable faded text and when I asked for another used book they said I would just have to pay 35 bucks for a new one. They should really check the quality of their books before telling students they have ones available for sell.

Just buy your books on amazon. The workers are very rude.Update: A this place is a waste of time and money. I ordered $300+ of books went to pick it up and it wasnt ready and was told it would be ready the next day so I came back 24 hrs later just to be told that my order still wasnt ready. Bull$h!t.

This is the saddest barns and noble I have ever been into. They have more University of Toledo clothing options than books.

Expensive clothes/textbooks but thats kinda what you expect from a bookstore. Can find books an order or magnitude cheaper online if not free, this is always my last stop
