FIVE DAY TURNAROUND ON PRESCRIPTIONS??!? My doctor called in a prescription for me on Friday am- I dropped by Saturday to pickup the script. “We’re behind- it’s not ready…” so I agree to come back Monday am. Monday afternoon- “I’m sorry, we still behind. You can wait or come back tomorrow.” So now it’s Tuesday, I’m in the drivethru line to pick up my prescription, when I hear those three familiar words that I’ve grown accustomed to hearing when I try to pick up my script- yep, “it’s not ready- yes, we’re still behind. You can wait about 10-15 minutes or come back later…” I’m waiting for my prescription while there is a line of 4 cars behind me. When I get back home I will promptly move all prescription to another pharmacy immediately.

I drove over an hour, in horrible construction for two items that I had researched on the app and they were Not in the store. One item was discontinued.

I received such awesome costomer service from Brenda . she helps me everytime I come in . and has such great costomer service . she is always working so hard . keep it up Mrs. Brenda the lord Sees your hard work . bless you and see you again.. 🙏👍✌️👍

The way the mangers treat there employees are like leas then human especially matthew Lewis. This is why stores like HEB are better they are more understanding and care a lil less about the bottom line and more about the people

Had trouble getting my husbands prescriptions filled. They were on top of everything and very quick to help!!!!

Love this store, but did something happen to their refrigeration lately? Bagged lettuce/salads have been brown.

We shop here every week they have great workers and its better than HEB. We like to only buy a small amount at a time and love this Kroger. The people that work here are very friendly, all the cashiers and the sackers are very friendly. It has a great Pharmacy, Plus it has a gas station, organic food, and a great meat department. The layout is easy to move through and theres plenty of self checkout aisles if youre in a hurry to get out.

This location has r improved recently.Krogers system still doesnt have prices at the register match prices marked on the shelf. So, I have to take pictures of the signs as I shop. A lot of items dont show a price, and using the item scanner can solve that problem. Its in the middle of the seafood/meat section, so be ready to have your cart in the way.I noticed this location has a lot of closeout items which are usually snack foods that are past their best buy date. This is different from the items they discount that are meeting their expiration date which is marked with a managers special tag. This location also has a lot of managers specials.I dont have a problem with close out items except recently the close out items have been past the best buy date by 4-8 months. What Im curious about is why those items werent on close out 4-8 months ago as soon as they past their date. Those items were full price the week before, but suddenly they are 8 months old and on closeout. Were people buying old food at full price last week? Are Kroger warehouses distributing old food to their stores to mark as close out so they dont lose money?I asked an employee what closeout meant and was told that the item wouldnt be sold in the store anymore but there was nothing wrong with it. Apparently that employee had never had a chip past the best buy date.Anyways, not going to give this store a bad rating because of problems that seem to be with Krogers chain. The location has improved with customer service and cleanliness.

Disorganized, no one able to help you. The lady said she be back in a moment and 10 minute later we walk out and want to the Tomball HEBHave to say the bathroom was clean they had a tankless hot water tank to wash my hands in warm water!!! Meaning employees can do the same and kill germs on them hands before touching food

They usually have a good selection of healthy food warning for the sushi it is old don’t bother

Went to Kroger to cash my check and they couldnt because they didnt have enough cash. I dont know why theirs options to cash $2000 checks but cant even cash one for less. I think thats something that needs to be addressed.

I love the floral department. You can build your own bouquet. Or you can find some great options they have available.

This Kroger location just lost a longtime customer over a penny. I had a floral coupon for $15 off an indoor arrangement. The one I found was $14.99 & was told I couldnt use the coupon unless the arrangement was more than $15.00. No where on the coupon did it say there was a minimum purchase. I asked if they were willing to lose a sale over a penny & was told I guess so. Really? I cant believe there was no way to adjust the arrangement cost to accommodate the coupon. There is always a way if you want the customer to stay a customer. I had other things to buy but after that treatment I walked out. From now on all my business will go to HEB. Kroger used to covet their customer support but I guess that is out the window now!!!!

My family and I really like to buy groceries here and there is a red box outside.

The store is great and grocery pickup is very convenient.The pharmacy and the deli have questionable COVID-19 practices. Employees wearing masks improperly and touching their noses when getting your order. I have complained to management to no avail.

Pharmacy is horrific! Slow turnaround on prescriptions and poor customer service. Had a prescription called in at noon and called at 6:00 to see if it was ready and the tech that answered the phone said 7:30. Not sure why it takes 7.5 hrs to fill 2 prescriptions. Kroger, you can and should do better!!!

Where do I start with this Location 🙄 yesterday is my last time ever trying to do curbside with them the last 3 times I have had to go inside to swipe my card which defeats the purpose of grocery pick up! They are not even apologetic for this inconvenience they are frustrated with me because I complained about having to go inside after I ordered online for a reason! Never ever again

We moved to Tomball from Humble in April and have been consistently disappointed with the service from this locations pharmacy. Management should take a look at the Townsen store if they need an example of how to get the job done.

They have everything you could want. Very clean store. Staff is extremely helpful. They will stop whatever they are doing to help you. And sometimes they have tastings of food or drink. Yum!

I ordered my groceries curb side and they were suppose to be ready at 8;00 on Thursday morning. After sitting in parking lot for an hour they told me they were running 24 hours behind and to come back on Friday. I got there at 8 on Friday and after 45 minutes they asked if i could come back on Saturday. I said absolutely not. Finally at 10:15 (been there over 2 hours now) they brought me HALF of my groceries. I went across to HEB and got everything I needed. I have shopped at Kroger’s for over 20 years but no more.

NO KARTS FOR MULTIPLE KIDS! Dont bother coming here if you have more than one kid! I have complained twice within a two month period and have yet stayed committed to the store. I got different answers both times. First time, manager said, Their wheels are being fixed. Second time, They were all stolen, but we ordered new ones. A month later, still no carts. I spend a lot of money here along with every other mom with kids. They obviously dont care. I guess I will drive an extra 10 minutes to the one in Magnolia. Bad Business and Customer Service.

FYI: if you have a grocery pick up at Kroger’s in Tomball they are running extremely behind AGAIN!!! I went at 5:45 to pick up my 5-6 order and they told me to call back at 7 pm to see how much longer it would be. This is not the first time either!! The last time this happened it was HOURS later and I finally asked to speak to a manager who helped finish my cart. The last time this happened the said the system went down and they got behind. Wonder what the excuse will be this time. This is not Acceptable!!! #stillwaiting

Not much handicapped parking. Store is consistently clean. Personnel range from very knowledgeable to havent a clue. Produce consistently fresh and attractively displayed.

This pharmacy has the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever encountered with a pharmacy. I’m not talking about just the staff the actual pharmacist is dreadful. I just moved from Katy to Tomball after the ending of my 20 year marriage. I take 5 different medications for hypothyroidism, depression and anxiety. When I had to transfer all of my prescriptions from the Katy Walgreens to this Kroger I had no choice, Kroger was substantially cheaper. Not having insurance I needed that price cut badly. Since one of my scripts was a controlled substance they would not even fill it. I’ve been on this medication for 19 years ? The people that work here are atrocious, they are unbelievably rude and extremely unsympathetic towards your particular situation. Total jerks. THEY are NOT THE DRS !!!!

This USED to be my go-to store. However the last two times I have picked up groceries it has been a NIGHTMARE! The first bad experience resulted in me getting my groceries but BEING CHARGED for someone elses. This took a couple of days to sort out. This week, having ordered a week ahead, I went at my alloted time and was told they were running 24 hours behind. Come back tomorrow. I went back today. Waited 45 minutes after arrival. Got half of what I ordered and was over charged by $8.50. Ill just take my money to HEB from now on!

I decided to stop at the Starbucks inside this Kroger but wasn’t sure what I wanted as I’m not typically a coffee drinker. The young lady who was working, Jordan, we very helpful. She was polite, patient, and very knowledgeable about the different options they had. She asked me different questions such as if I wanted a hot or cold drink, did I want something chocolate flavored or not, if I wanted to try any of their seasonal drinks and explained what each one was. She asked me how my day was going while she made my coffee and I was so impressed at the level of customer service she provided. I asked to talk to her supervisor but it was later in the evening and her supervisor wasn’t working. I wanted to let the supervisor know what a wonderful job Jordan was doing. I have shopped at this Kroger for over 10 years and I sure hope the Kroger mgmt knows what an asset they have in this young lady. (Note: I mention Kroger mgmt rather than Starbucks as I have since found out the people who work at this Starbucks are Kroger employees and not Starbucks.)

Older store but still clean and well stocked. In a great location for easy in and out from 249 or old tomball 249. They have gas pumps. Stays busy but is not too overly crowded. Self checkouts seem to be used the most for under 20 items. Al was says friendly and helpful service when ever you need it.

This store has lost all since of customer service. You are lucky to find a register open to check you out. People standing around doing nothing. They are forcing you to check and bag your own groceries. When you are looking for a Manager they are no where to be found. No one is out front to help diffuse the chaos. I am done with Kroger

Kroger has always been my place to shop for groceries. Sure, I have shopped other stores because of advertised specials but I always return to Kroger. Common courtesy is a big part of my every day life along with cleanliness, respect and friendliness which I get with Kroger employees. Krogers prices are responsible and specials are great.

I’ve used Kroger pickup a few times, but rather than improving their service it’s getting terrible! I’ve now been waiting almost an hour for my pick up order. They keeping saying they’re short staffed but I’ve heard this on four separate occasions! This is not the problem of the staff running around trying to make it work. It’s managements problem and they can fix it! I also put in a request for no plastic bags and of course when I get my order, everything is in plastic not paper.

Ordered groceries on 4/10 to pick up at Curbside on 4/17 from hours 9-10 AM. Got there at 9:15 and was that they are running behind and have not called the 9:00 appt to tell them orders would not be ready till 2 days later. Called and talked to asst. manager and she said that they had 500 orders and was running 27 yrs behind. She kept saying I just placed my order and I told her that I placed it a week ago and I was looking at my confirmation. If they would have called the day before or that morning and told me I would have been ok with it. Things happen. But to tell me I just placed the order and let people drive there expecting to p/u order and say Oops sorry we are running behind. Such POOR service. I have been doing business with Kroger for 27 years in Tomball. They have just lost a customer. Goodbye Kroger!

Prices are good, every time I go in and use self check out the same guy is working and he never speaks to me. I even said have a good night one time and he didn’t reply at all. Feel ignored in this store

Im not sure if it is the fact of it being a Tomball located Kroger, if its truly that difficult for ordering & getting incoming shipments with the whole COVID-19 bs going on or whats the problem, all I do know is I havent been able to fulfill a shopping list of items in quite sometime.

I dont usually stop at Kroger. I usually use a different grocery chain. Today, I was seeking a better variety of Oikos triple zero yogurt... Since my usual store does not carry much of a variety. What an AMAZING experience...They were extremely friendly and helpful and had some really good bargains. I was so thrilled that I stopped to find the store manager to let him know how AWESOME his store is... I will be back more often!!!

I have been a very good customer at the Kroger in Tomball for over eight years. I have spent at least 40,000 or more there in the last eight years. There have been things that have happened over that time period. Plus when I have been in there shopping I have heard their employees complaining about this store numerous times, not good for a customer to hear. I had ordered my groceries online, I waited over 40 minutes to pick my order up. Apparently Management did not let the nice lady who works with the Clicklist, know that someone did not show up for work. So that threw her way behind, I understood that.Then I get home and discovered that I was overcharged 16.74 for six peaches. My kind husband took the receipt and the peaches and spoke with the Manager, no apologies for being way over charged and having to wait 40 minutes for my order. Then we were only given 11.00 credit not the 16.00. Plus when you order online, very slow, you cant always order what is in the store, very frustrating. Plus the many times they have one checker and a long line.They have now lost a very good customer, I will start shopping at HEB.They only get a one star rating, but should be zero rating.

Ordered online Sunday to pick up today. Came at 1 pm and order not ready. Told me to come back in hour. Came back at 2:30 and was told Togo home and come back in 3 hours! So, came back and now told to come back in 2 hours. I’m sitting in parking lot. First not feeling well. If I leave without groceries will never shop thi store again. Been using tomball Kroger over 25 years.

Highly recommend this store. Their services are amazing and products are amazing. Recommended.

Used to be a great store with awesome service. Last 4 times Ive been, Ive had to sack my entire purchase and there have been zero carts of any sort in the cart bay. First world problem, I know, but the cost of the food is inflated to pay for these services. Food selection has been very limited as of late as well. Dont think Ill be returning any time soon.

Okay store, but Click List leaves a lot to be desired. Ive had quite a few extra items or missing items. The missing items I still paid for, and the extra items I was charged for. These were not substitute items or adjustments. I am currently sitting in their pickup spot at 7:25 when my order was scheduled between 6:00-7:00. So...here is my review.

I feel it’s a real shame to see this store going down hill. I’ve never seen them selling moldy tomatoes and asparagus until the past month. I’ve used this store for over 10 years and now I gotta go. The restrooms are pretty bad to. Usually wait till I get home. Think this store may need a new manager.

Why in the world would a store only have self checkout lines open. I come here all the time and buy to much to fit in the bagging area. Long story short I told the attendant I had to much stuff this time and if he could help me override some of my larger items so I could put them straight in the cart. He said yes and walked away and I didn’t see him again until a gallon of milk fell and exploded all over me, my stuff and the store. I said I’m sorry I didn’t have room for all my stuff and he just looked at my like I was annoying. No I’m sorry. Nothing. A previous time I asked if they could open up a lane for me instead of me bagging my own groceries. They just looked at me like it was an impossible request...... I hate complaining but this was ridiculous. They need to spend a little extra money on an employee to work a register if they want people to continue shopping there.

I love this Kroger they are friendly in there. You can find things and you do not have to look all over the store for. Then what I really like they give everyone opportunity to work.I would like to say keep up the good work.

I always have a great experience at Kroger. Got a great deal on coffee pods today! And every Friday they have a free item.

Only one checkout open with carts lined up to check out. Manager obviously doesnt think of customer service. Selections were good but means zip if you cant check out.15 check out spots and only 2 open.Manager needs to recognize customer service or people will start going to HEB.

They have once again changed everything in the store around and you cant find anything anymore they should have just left it alone there is some college educated person sitting in an office somewhere that thought this would be a good idea they apparently do not buy groceries . The only reason I still shop there is because I use the pharmacy but believe me every time I go in there my nerves are tested just a little more.

Don’t ever go here with cash. I went there last night and thought I spend $140. I didn’t realize until the next day that my Receipt it was only for $40 and the employee took the rest of my money.. and the manager Said the registrar was correct and is checking the videos. The employee took advantage of the fact I had two kids and was in a rush. This place is horrible. I’m never shopping at Kroger’s again

I stopped by Tomball Krogers this evening to pick up a few things. The store was clean as I usually find it. The shelves are stocked neatly and everything seems to be in order. The employees are friendly and helpful. They cheerfully steered me toward items I could not find. One of these store specials was two packages of baby back ribs for the price of one. I grabbed up that bargain for Memorial Day weekend. Im all set for the holiday weekend now. Thank you Krogers.

Sales items always runs short.... They were out of asparagus, avocados and only a few flavors of the ice cream that was included in the sale. Still 2 days left of the sale... This wasnt my first time experiencing this at TOMBALLs Kroger.... No need to wonder why I dont make this my regular shopping place

Not all of the items I was looking for were in stock. Some shelves were not re-stocked. The bagger employee could use a little more training to properly bag the items and keep cleaning products separate from the food. HOWEVER, I still like this store for multiple reasons. Friendly staff, great selection, overall satisfactory service, convenient location, ability to order online. So hopefully next time I will be able to give 5+ stars to them. I look forward to it. :)

There is a new store manager, and he has done a good job of getting this place in shape. The aisles are stocked. The store is much better. ClickList is better too. I think they finally worked out the kinks. So convenient

Parking is a nightmare and produce is lacking in quality. The most annoying thing is all the stuff you dont need and that no one buys is in the center isles of the store so you have do half your shopping on one side of the store and half on the other side and if you forget anything, you have to walk a marathon to get back to the other side. I know they do that to sell more of it, but we dont want it that way!The curbside pickup is nice and I use it to not have to find a parking spot or walk a marathon inside, but I still get moldy produce. And I wish the fee wasnt so high.

I typically do not have any issues here, and I frequently use the click list option. The only issue when having someone else pick out your groceries, while incredibly convenient for people on the go, is that they may not be as concerned about expiration dates as you. I used the click list a week ago, and purchased milk that will still last for a few more days, and then I picked up the same brand of milk today (expecting it to expire at a reasonable rate), but my newest milk is set to expire in two days. I don’t drink enough of it to last. Now something that I use for convenience, has become another trip to the store. I stopped using this option because of similar issues with produce expiration dates as well.

This place is so sorry. Changed companys for their holiday meal. The new company sucks. Kroger decides to substitute what ever they want because they do not know how to order for customers. Have never been so disgusted. If I could rate this with negative stars I would.

Friendly employees, store was clean. The only negative I could say is that several of the sale items were out if stock and the sale just started yesterday. Other than that great store!

I was refused service at the pharmacy yesterday until I put a face mask on. Just curious if this has happened to anyone elseI think it was really because I had on a Trump 2020 cap.

Every time I come here now they’re always low on stock in produce. Talked to hector the manager multiple times and just tells me they’re short staffed. I’ve been helped by floral employees in produce more than the ones who actually work that department. This store never used to have this problem. Something or someone needs to change.

I love Kroger. Still trying to memorize where everything is since Kroger decided to move all of the groceries around.....again. Ive been a 30+ year shopper with Kroger, and will never shop anywhere else.

Ive been going to this store for 10 plus years and have never had any problems till I met Nic. I dont know if hes a manager or not but either way HE NEEDS TO GO! I dont think Ive ever met a more disrespectful and disgusting human being in my life.

Used the Clicklist for the first time!! And might I say it was a very pleasant experience. Very friendly attendant, and almost everything was in stock. The loaded it in my truck and was very polite and quick.

Nice location everyone willing to help you with your questions. Food selections are fresh and quite appealing. The store also has a Starbucks. The store is clean and well maintained.

Alright Im not going to try to be a Kroger hater for the most part Kroger is all round one of the best big chain stores to shop at but this Kroger its very disappointing! They are ALWAYS out of at least one item I go in there for, No Joke ! Anyone who shops at this Kroger please agree with me that theyre Fresh Tortillas are horrible they really need to get the bakery staff together to figure out what to do about the tortilla machine ! In fact Anyone who reads this review who shops there please comment maybe its just me but Im a very easy to please kind of guy and this store always frustrates me!

This Kroger is inept. Have had multiple issues with clicklist orders but no one in the store or at the 800 number has been able to resolve it. I will definitely be writing a letter to the CEO. I’m not sure why anyone still shops here over HEB.

Tammy at the self checkout and Tobri were awesome! Never in my life have I received such great customer service at a grocery store! Not even rice epicurean and memorial area has ever given me such great service! I told Tammy I forgot to get tortillas and Toby ran over and brought back nearly everything they had! one of each of course. 5 stars all day!

July 5th 2020, Kroger is not enforcing the mask order at all. Several people walking without masks, sneezing without masks, right in front of manager and not doing anything about it

Just moved to this area of town from the west side. I like how this store is laid out, it is much larger than our other kroger and the staff was very helpful. I look forward to shopping here more in the future.

I have been going to Kroger’s for about 12 years now. I needed some help with some of my groceries, I met an associate named Zac. He was amazing! He is a huge asset to Kroger! He been there for sometime and I think he deserves a promotion.

This is my go-to grocery store. It has a Starbucks. It has friendly customer service, and quick check out lanes. The pharmacy is also helpful and easy to pick up prescriptions.

My daughter Tahira Ali rented Carpet Cleaning Machine and it didnt work, no suction; I took it to the Tomball store. An older lady was on Customer service counter talking to a customer for about 10 minutes, without any concern that others are waiting. Then, she attended me, and seems to be too talkative. Her first name is Elizabeth, said if machine is bad should have call Kroger. We were not told!!! Anyway, watch your Store Video, decide for yourself ifMs. Elizabeth should be there or placing things in shelves etc. She is a negative person, and rude. Without finishing me, she again start attending the previous customer, no apologies...It seems she is prejudiced too.Mohammad Ali

I come here all the time due to I live here in the area so this my go to store due to HEB is to costly an big for me. Today 5/15/2019 @3:38pm I bought literally 220.00 worth of groceries all for the bagger to give me 2 baskets..... ok fine...well who gonna pull the other?? No ONE I mean no one offered or asked me for help to take my groceries to the car I passed managers an supervisor an other baggers. All for a nice lady to stop her car in the middle of the street in her car jumps out to help me push my cart to my car.. smh I will take the extra 1-2 mins to drive the HEB. Ridiculous. I was checked out by a Vivian an bagger female name Jordan that were to busy talking to each other.

Horrible. Deli to go food had been sitting to long. Manager was no help in trying to help us. I refused to pay almost 2.00 for a drumstick when a combo is 4.99. With that being said employees need to Be more aware of the steam table presence. If I can come u back in 30 min. I may as well go somewhere and eat. Which that was the solution. Such a Pity becuz i really like Kroger fried chicken

I love Kroger, but.....Tomball Kroger sucks at check out. Only 2 registers open at 630pm. 4 people with huge orders in each line. I wouldnt complain if it was only once, but it happens virtually every time o go there. One Friday evening at 630 I went there and NO registers were open. The store was packed, a dozen people waiting in line for self service. I had a cart full & it sucked!!! Taking stuff out of the cart, ringing it up, putting it on that little space. I had groceries piled up. I was soooooo frustrated. Tomball Kroger customer experience stinks!

Ive been to this many years and while they just got a new make over, the employees seem to be getting worse. I have a service animal with a badge from the government and the manager told me to leave. Said it is unsanitary. I gave him the have and said if youre not blind then you need to leave because she is not an eye seeing dog..? I was just in awe, so I left. Its not worth arguing when HEB is less than a min away. There have been bugs in their pastas (which can be normal) but not in every bag I purchase. I told the manager that their entire stock of chocolate syrup had gone bad. She said she would take care of it and I went twice afterwards 48 hours later and they were all still bad. I think Kroger as a whole is fine, seems just to be this location the employees and managers could not care less.
