For someone who works on doors you would think you would know how to fix a door alarm. Your own building alarm has been going off every night between 11 PM and 5 AM for a week. Get your house in order!

My service tech came to my home and worked diligently ( on the hottest day of this summer)to repair my 35 year old Overhead Door opener. It had several broken wires, none of the remotes worked anymore and it was beyond repair so I asked him if he could just replace the opener. The price was extremely reasonable ( in my opinion). He had all the equipment with him and had my new opener installed within 2 hours! This is absolutely the best money I have spent in a long time! I love my new opener!! This is the second time that Overhead Door has been out to replace my garage door springs in the last 10 years. Both times the installers were polite and did the job quickly.

Ive had my garage door since 2011 with no problems until this year. The big cold spell we had took the circuit board out. I called in the morning and they came out that afternoon. About a week later, it wouldnt work properly and they came out the day after I called nd fixed with no charge. Very nice people on phone and in person. My friend who referred me has had her garage for over 30 years with only one problem about 10 years after installed. Great business!

We called, and they came out the same day. Fixed the issue with no problems. Plus they did extra stuff that needed to be done on our garage doors that we weren’t even aware of and didn’t charge any more than the basic service call price. The garage doors work better than they ever have since we’ve owned the house (six years). We will definitely call them again if we ever need them.

We had someone come out because our remote didn’t open the door anymore and it turned out to be a very easy fix with just the touch of a few buttons to reprogram it that we could have done ourselves had we known. It took him literally 5 seconds to do but he still charged us $89 for a “ travel fee” . It would have reflected better on the company for us if he’d just let us off the hook on that one.UPDATE: I received a call from Jared, a manager of this company and he apologized and offered to cancel what was charged. He was very nice and I appreciated him reaching out.

The serviceman with Overhead Door that fixed my residential door was topnotch. He knew what he was doing. Our door is 20 years old was sticking on its old track which no amount of oil fixed for long, so I assumed we needed a replacement door. But he saw that we needed a new garage door opener. He installed what seems like a better and much quieter one quickly. AND best of all he demonstrated the garage door and explained what he had done very clearly. And he explained the new key pad that we needed and took me through programming it while not watching me key in the password. He was friendly without being too chatty, he went about his work, did a great job, and told me everything I needed to know. These days the devices are so complicated, it seems that I never get a full explanation. The new device works much better and I work much better with it. That is the type of service needed today that we seldom get. Thank you!!

We’ve had Overhead door come out for several different things and they always call 15-30 minutes before arrival or if they’re running behind in there schedule they let u know! The last guy that came out ( can’t remember is name! ) he was very detailed in his assessment as to what the problem could be... I like how they leave a lil sticker on the door with their name & the date! The last time they came it was no charge cuz it’s been a ongoing problem with the door not closing properly..... Hopefully it’s fixed now! But if not I know I can call and they will get me on the schedule as soon as possible! Overall our experience has been great!

Showed up a little past the window that was given by scheduling. Arrived and got right to work. Quickly identified replacement springs on the truck. Less than an hour and $270 later, door functions perfectly again.

Called for issues with the carriage and sensors. Brad came and was very helpful. The part wasn’t in stock, but Brad showed me where to order it directly from the manufacturer. After the parts arrived, Brad returned and completed the repairs in less than an hour. Overall, terrific experience and very helpful!

When I initially called to set up appointment there was no mention of a service call. I explained to the woman who answered the phone the problem I had going on and still no mention of service call. Tech came out looked at what I had going on and said nothing he can do but unfortunately he still needs to charge me for a service call. Tech was nice but I dont like surprises.10/19/20 I got a call from Jared who is the manager of the store. He said he was going to refund me my money and was sorry for any inconvenience. He was very nice about the whole situation. My bad review is not about the company or employees its just I dont like surprise cost for no work performed.

I had called two other companies before calling the Overhead Door Company of Topeka. The first company didn’t show up when they said they would (they never showed up, actually), and the second company never returned my call. The Overhead Door Company of Topeka has a great website that let me schedule a time for maintenance, then called to confirm the appointment. I then got a call 20 minutes before the technician arrived to let me know he was on his way. My garage door key pad wasn’t working. It had to be replaced, and my “clickers” had to be reactivated. He had all the needed parts with him, the repair was quick, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

Overhead Door has come to our rescue 3 times in the last 2 years. When a lift kit was added to our Jeep, it was then so tall it would no longer fit into the garage, but Overhead fixed it quickly, and now it fits once more! They were very professional. Arrived on time. They were able to install a new opener for me. I originally was going to try to have mine repaired and decided to put in a new one instead on the same visit. Definitely will use them again when ready to repair or replace other opener.

It is a difficult time for businesses, during the Covid 19 restrictions. However while the company was slower than expected, they gave me a great door at a bargain price because of the delay. I would recommend them, and do business with them again.
