This place is a joke. I made an appointment to visit. Showed up and called the store only to be told they couldn’t figure out who the appointment was with and someone would be right with me. They left me waiting for 15 minutes in the snow. All while multiple people looked out the window at me and walked by. There was no one in there except employees. You will not be getting my whole house renovation money. Good bye.

Unbelievably rude sales lady acted as if she didn’t want to do anything. I tried to switch to a salesperson that could possibly have better manners she blew me off as well. Maybe they assumed I wouldn’t spend enough money for their customer service. Will happily retrieve my item I ordered today and not place any future orders with this company. Yes their selection is good but so is restoration hardware. Seek other options before visiting this store.

Stopped in here for the first time today and met with Kim. She was extremely helpful and offered up some great suggestions for lighting and cabinet pulls. With all the options out there trying to pick something can be quite overwhelming. The store is beautiful and has plenty of items on display. Pricing is also quite competitive to what you will find online. I’ve been in stores where unless you are spending an exuberant amount of money you aren’t treated well. Not the case here at all.

Super disappointing experience. First after choosing, ordering & paying for drawer pulls & knobs and waiting over a month for them, we find out the supplier is out of business. Huge waste of time. So we go in again and pick out different knobs & pulls. Ordered & paid. After a couple weeks we go back to pick up our order, only to find out half of it is the wrong size and the other half is the wrong color and not even what we ordered. The stone was pea green and gray. We had ordered a rusty brown color. It’s bad enough that our order is wrong but then we had to deal with an extremely condescending and rude salesperson. We asked to speak with our salesperson but they were not in, we asked for a manager but we were told they weren’t in so, we had to deal with someone else. She was so rude and felt the need to tell us that any person with commonsense would’ve known that the stone was not going to be the color that was shown in the sample piece that we chose. I explained we understand variation of color but this was just something altogether different and we decided not to take them. Because the salesperson was so rude we decided not to go back for third order.

Sent my wife up there to purchase 15 faucet for our new home, was turned away because she had our 5 year old with her. They both had masks on. Great plan Heralds, last I heard it wasnt illegal to go to a store with your kid. Congratulations, you just lost thousands of dollars. I will never go back to your store ever again and will make sure all of my contractor dont either.

This place has horrible customer service. Do not go here! There are many way better options if you are trying to build a house. I would highly recommend some other place.

Huge selection of products to choose from including kitchen fixtures, lighting for all rooms, cabinet hardware, door hardware, toilets, sinks, plumbing fixtures, bath tubs, shower doors, bathroom vanities and countertops. Plan to spend some time here as there is a lot to choose from!

Their price point is right about what I was expecting. Because I am furnishing an entire new condo, I was not prepared to spend $1,200 on one lighting fixture after I had seen some very attractive lighting fixtures at Lowes and Home Depot.

Staff was so so but my salesperson was great! Helped me find everything and prices were pretty good. I have recommended shopping for many things here. Just be careful who waits on you.

Terrible service no respect for clients

This store has everything. We were having a hard time finding a kitchen sink disposal flange in bronze and they had them in stock. Ask for Jim, he is super helpful. Highly recommend for all your home needs.

Bought hanging pendant lamps in June 2015 which after installation, it was noticed that the lamp shades were not identical. One of the lamp shades was noticeably more sheer than the other. Either shade was fine by itself but it would be nice to have two matching shades as they are hanging on each side of the bed. Repeated emails and calls have produced nothing with the store. I was referred to this store by my builder and recommend that builders find another merchant who cares about their customers.

Was recommended by a well known home builder and realtor. I will never be going back to this place. The staff, other than the GM Traci are all there just to pass the day...rude and clueless. Look for Traci if you want a professional experience.

They have a lot of faucets tubs but they was very helpful they didnt have what I was looking for and they found found it and they ordered it for me

The selection is amazing so I was beyond excited to pick out hardware for our new build. I ordered a small amount of handles and knobs for one of our bathrooms. Unfortunately the color was just a little off so I decided to return them. My second trip to the store for the return was a waste of time. I was told that they would have to check with the supplier to see if they were returnable. I was never told they might not be returnable or I would have definitely thought twice about my purchase. I waited while the employee tried calling several times only to be told he was only getting a busy signal. He said he would have to email them and wait for a response. He took my named phone number and told me to expect a call letting me know the status. I live just far enough to make the trip inconvenient. I waited one week for a response before emailing the associate that originally ordered the product for me. I waited another week for a response. I was told she would check with the supplier and get back to me. I then waited several more days. I was then told no problem just to make sure that she was working. I emailed her several days that I was available to come in and again waited several days to get a confirmation. I was available on a different day so I called ahead only to be told that she was sick and they did not know when she would be returning. Therefore I would have shown up the next day only to have found out she wouldnt have been there. The employee on the phone told me to come in anyway and someone could help me. I went in and was told by the first employee no returns. She said I would have to talk with the manager who was currently standing in front of me on the phone. I patiently waited only to watch the manager continue to assist another customer. I could see that she had been working with them however, she could have at least acknowledged me and told me it might be awhile. She also could have excused herself from her customer for a few minutes and explained that she just needed to get some information from me. I wasnt trying to cut into anyone else time but I did need assistance that only she could provide. Eventually another employee told me he was going to try and help. Same story they tried calling but the line was busy so they would have to email me. Really that is how you treat your customers! There needs to be a better way to get some immediate resolution. The fact that a customer is penalized for changing their mind is ridiculous!! So my $100 hardware has just doubled in cost because of my 3 trips to the store the restock fee and return shipping charges only if they decide to even let me return!!!! So glad I learned this before I decided to purchase anything else for my whole house that needs product!!!

Everything about this business is awesome - the staff, the products, the showroom, and the service!

I do not recommend this place. They messed up my order 4 times! After taking my money, they forgot to place my order, then it was the wrong size, then they said it would cost more, then it was missing half of the product... They delayed my renovation by over a month.

These people are into making the most money they can. Their sales team do not care if you purchase high quality German products or unreliable Chinese products. A person has to do their own research on products because their sales staff really dont look out for the customers. Their scheduling and delivery is very poor as well. Honestly, I would stay away from this place. I know I will after my bad experience purchasing several products there.

The place is beautiful but if you were expecting to come here and find anything at a discounted price turn around now. Unable to find any faucet under $100.00 most faucets listed at $500+.

Purchased a sink Oct. 17th. Apparently sink came in Oct. 26th, NEVER NOTIFIED! Called today November 9th to find out sink sitting in the store. Installer waiting for sink to come in, cant cut quartz counter until sink comes in. It will take two weeks for me to get counter, now I will have NO KITCHEN for Thanksgiving thanks to Herald Wholesale. Girl that did order and that helped me today (same girl), very unfriendly, clearly doesnt like her job, snooty with an attitude. Used to shop all the time when you were located in Oak Park and service was excellent there, they always went above and beyond. Very disappointed with service here at this location. Will never shop here again. Doesnt even deserve one star but had to check since it wouldnt post if I didnt check one.

Total nightmare. After order was placed, took 8 weeks to arrive. On top of that, it was not the correct finish. Calls are not returned. You pay top dollar for lousy service at this place.
