Bullpen Garage is the ONLY place I will ever take my truck for upgrades and modifications. Bullpen is owned and run by Jon R., who is one of the most knowledgeable, skilled, professional, and thoughtful people I know.From the very first day that I walked in to his shop to discuss a vehicle purchase and the mods I wanted to make, Jon has been extremely helpful, spending time working with me to identify products that best suited my needs. Hes also absolutely honest and straightforward. If he couldnt obtain an item through his distributors or if there was a better price elsewhere, he would say so. Many other shops will ONLY install items purchased internally, limiting options. He has now worked on my 4Runner at least a dozen times, installing bumpers and a winch, rock sliders, skid plates, a roof rack and rooftop tent, new suspension, interior storage, an upgraded battery system, lighting, etc.Jon is also absolutely meticulous and detail-oriented, treating every job as if its his own vehicle. Further, hes gone out of his way to accommodate my schedule, offering to pick up/drop off my truck at convenient locations/times.Please disregard the recent fake reviews being left by friends of a disgruntled delivery driver. Jon would NEVER be rude to anyone, particularly a potential customer. Just call him or drop in to the shop to see for yourself. Work with him once and youll be a loyal customer, guaranteed.

Jon at Bullpen Garage was trustful and a man of his word. He did a fantastic job lifting my voodoo blue Tacoma. Very happy with the customer service and installation he did. He put on some 2” bilsteins 5100’s in the front and 1” rear blocks to give it a nice little lift plus leveling. I highly recommend him for lifting your truck/jeep and any other suspension work. Does great work. Best in town.

Reading the negative reviews, I’m wondering if these people have the wrong shop. I called Bullpen last fall to get a part and he was cheaper and faster than 4WP, and added military discount to boot. When I showed up to pick the part up, he saw my leg splint (I’m a disabled vet) and offered to install it immediately, also at a discount. I can’t recommend strongly enough. I’d post more stars if Google would let me.

Jon took on a difficult project for me - lifting a Second Gen Sequoia - and despite breaking some of his own equipment, completed the job on time. I have since been back to have Jon install spacers and he charged me 1/2 what 4WParts had quoted when I bought the part.Unlike most shops, Jon will install gear purchased elsewhere.I have put 25K miles on the lift kit without any issue.Jon does quality work and any vague negatives reviews you read are bogus.

There are no words to express the true integrity of Big Jon! He saved me almost 3K by taking a look at a problem one dealership incorrectly diagnosed and refused to cover under warranty, he determined it was likely something much simpler and recommended I seek the warranty related repair at another dealership. He was spot on!!!!The issue was corrected and covered under warranty at the second dealership at no cost. Needless to say, it would have been an easy pay day and repair for him, since I was upset with the first dealership and not willing to give them a dime for not honoring the warranty. Instead, he diagnosed and provided a truthful and ultimately correct cause of my vehicle’s issue. This shows a dedication to customer service and a level of integrity that is rare nowadays. Jon installed an aftermarket electronic tailgate kit on our 2017 Toyota 4Runner. This kit I bought came with unclear directions but Jon figured out how to hook everything up and wire it properly. Quite frankly, he didn’t an amazing job. I highly recommend Bullpen garage to anyone who needs work done on their 4x4 vehicle.

Im impressed. He installed my King 2.5s front and rear, along with new UCAs. The truck sits perfectly and drives even better.. Ill be installing Deavers next week. Jon put 4 new Rancho shocks on our 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Was ahead of schedule getting us in and ahead of the time he quoted for putting them on. He only charged us for the time it took to put them on, was very professional, and answered all the questions I threw at him concerning future modifications. The price was right for the shocks and for future modifications and we will definitely use him again. Won’t have to look anywhere else. Best place in Tucson for Jeep Mods, period. I work as an engineer in Aerospace so I understand the concept of doing things the right way. Too many shops just want to get you in and out and dont take time to listen. This is not the case with Jon, he does work the way I would and like it was his own Jeep. He makes you feel welcome, gives you the options, lets you know what he would do, and then its up to you to do whatever you decide.Heres a refreshing idea: I was all set to spend some money on expensive driveshafts and he talked me out of it. He is the most honest straightforward person I have ever met in the modding game, and I have been around the block quite a bit with German Performance cars, American Hot Rods, and now Jeeps. Bottom line, if you want a no-BS situation, high quality standards, attention to detail, utmost integrity, and a great atmosphere, go to Bullpen Garage.
