We were new to town and went to Priority Auto at the recommendation of an Auto Zone employee for a check engine light and very rough idle. Jeff, the owner, was very friendly and professional - taking the time to explain the diagnosis and repairs that were performed. Paul and James at the front desk were also friendly and helpful. The team recommended services to be performed that correctly addressed our problems. The prices seemed reasonable and the overall service trustworthy. I would definitely return and recommend Priority Auto to others.

Jeff and the crew at Priority Auto are my choice for auto maintenance and repair in Tucson. I take my 2008 Toyota Tacoma there, and have referred other people who have had good results. They are very good at diagnosing problems, including some that others cannot diagnose, and their repair rates are very reasonable. I trust them implicitly, and it has been hard for me to get to that point with mechanics in the past. Plus they are nice folks. I strongly recommend them.

I took my boyfriends car here while he is away at boot camp. I paid around 300$ For the power steering to be fixed and it needed to be taken back in after a week to be fixed again cause it wasn’t done correctly. Then I paid 900$ For an electrical issue and they keep it for about 3 weeks, after they gave it back it only worked for about a week and a half before not starting again. The second time it was at the shop for this issue they kept the car for even longer. And now that I have it back not even a week later the car isn’t working. They have hung up on me over the phone. They are unprofessional. They suggested a used part to me for this repair and they made me think it would work, now that the car isn’t working they say that it wasn’t smart to use the used part. Why would they even suggest it in the first place if they knew it would do this? I would not suggest taking your car here

Dropped my car off and they did a free estimate. The work they did took 2 days partly due to the parts. The guys were nice. They showed me the worn parts and pictures of the repairs.

I had to come here three times in the span of three weeks for three related yet different parts that failed: belt tensioner, crank pulley, and alternator. Each time they were fair, honest, and did the work that was needed. They were willing to use the parts I supplied/preferred, and worked with me through every step. Theyre good mechanics, but more importantly theyre good people.

Our truck was there waiting for repairs. As a gesture the owner said we could keep it there till the repairs were done. In the process it was broken into and the tires and rims along with the stereo equipment was stolen. They will not cover the loss and they told us after it had been sitting there to pick it up or it would be impounded. They put it on the side street before we even showed up!

Save yourself time and money. I took a VW trike in with engine trouble when i picked it up it ran great but it took over a month to complete then within 4 hours a valve went they told me they could just repair that valve after a month and half they told me it was ready got it home and it was the same as when i took it there apparently they worked on the wrong side when i sent them a letter about it they said bring it in we will make it right a month later they finally got it fixed but they charged me for the side even though they did the wrong side to start with. then i discovered it was 2 qts low on oil. Now with less than 5oo miles on it even though it runs good there is a huge puddle of oil under it how jeff is able to stay in business is beyond me not only the time that it took but the poor quality of work

The only place I trust outside of my own garage.

My car had a lot of problems before it went in. I was driving it around and unable to turn my steering wheel for over 8 months. It was always overheating and leaking liquids. The replaced my rac n pinion, switched out my radiator, changed my spark plugs and many other things to my car in the span on a week. My car was truly unsafe to drive. But now i can say i drive around safely and am no longer a danger to the people around me. Me and my kids are truly greatful! Thank you priority auto!!

So very impressed with this location.I received word motor mounts were needed for my vehicle. The original estimate from another location was ~$700.00. At this location, it was ~$400.00. Not only that, quality is emphasized at this location, along with communication, and comfort of the customer.When I reached out, I received an incredible and respectful reply. Moreover, I was able to be seen quickly without an appointment, and the wait was not very long. That being said though..must emphasize - quality is crucial to them - if it was a long wait, I would have been happy with that factor.I highly recommend them! Highly! for auto mechanic needs.

After moving back to Tucson, I went in search of a mechanic and tried the dealer route, which failed miserably. As a small-business advocate, I then started trying the smaller independents in my area. Have now been to Priority Auto and Tire Center on Grant Road for 3 visits and couldnt be happier with their service. They were my mechanic for almost 20 years previously, though it was a different owner then. The new owner, Jeff, is great and Paul, his Service Manager, is soft spoken, super nice and outstanding at what he does. Its still a very busy shop, which I always view as a good sign. Thanks, guys, for keeping my car running well - as a pet/house sitter and errand runner, its impossible to take care of my clients without my car!

Excellent, friendly, professional, honest, speedy service is what I experienced when I decided to take my new to me Jeep Liberty in to see why the check engine light was on. Im a fairly new customer but will be a very LONG time customer. I have taken my 2012 Mistubishi for service as simple as an oil change and one as complicated as bushings and control arm. Jeff and the other mechanics were not only informative but honest. Not only were they thorough yet reasonably quick, one job came in $10 cheaper than on the estimate. That might not seem like a lot of money to you but its a weeks worth of gas to me. Now I can safely take my car to see my daughters and my grand kids! Thanks Priority!! You all are amazing!

Im not a person who will usually post a review online about a business, but in this case, I felt that it was more than deserved.I am the proud owner of my dream car, a 1987 BMW 325. I purchased the car knowing full well that there would be some work required to make it run again. My regular mechanic had been too busy to do the work for me this time, and so after meeting Jeff, the owner, I decided to give Priority a chance at earning my business.I am so happy that I did.Steve really took care of me and has been patient with my questions and concerns and never making me feel that this car wasnt worth fixing. To most people, it may not have been, but to me it was everything.Priority Auto took more time in finding the right engine for my new baby and I am so happy with the results. Theres still a few bugs to iron out (the car sat for well over ten years), but with the new engine in place, she absolutely runs like a well oiled machine.Give these guys a call. You wont be sorry.

While I was waiting there were a couple of women getting repairs and the shop was very honest with them and did not try to up sell or over charge them like I have witnessed in other shops. My repair was the idler pulley and belt, some issues came up while they were working on it the mechanic communicated with me and the shop treated me fair. I would recommend this shop to anyone. The owner of the shop will take advantage of you if you and your money if you are young. I took my car in and asked him to get the car running properly to pass emissions, and fix the issue that was causing my check engine light to be on. He charged me around 900$ and promised the car was fine, after pulling out of the shop the check engine light came back on when I was driving home. He then charged me another 150$ for a part that would actually fix the car when I went back in the next day demanding he do what I paid him to. I was able to pass emissions afterwards no thanks to him due to the fact that my check engine light came back on nearly a month later. After taking it to an actually trustworthy mechanic months later my car was properly fixed

Dropped in with a suspension problem on my Chry 300. Jeff took my car on a test drive, identified the problem quickly, and replaced 2 lower control arms with alignment at a reasonable cost and in just a few hours. While traveling from Texas to California developed car problems in Tucson. If you have ever been in this situation you know how we felt not knowing if you can trust the local business. The guys here got us in right away had our diagnosis and estimate within 3 hrs we were back on the road. It felt like I was dealing with my trusted mechanic at home. No one wants to have to spend money on repairs while on vacation but I can assure you that all the guys here will treat you right.

They totally saved me! I thought I was going to have to buy a new vehicle, but Jeff fixed our van! There was some pretty major things wrong with it and he worked hard on it, got it fixed a few days earlier than promised and for less money than was estimated. I complete trust Jeff and everyone there with any problem I have with any vehicle.

The repair work is average (and sloppy). So your car gets repaired, but with hiccups. They send out their most charming guy to soothe you. This technique, and lackluster repair work merits 2 stars.

A.P.B !!!!! 911 !!!!!!!CUSTOMERS BE WARE !!!!!!!!!!!I took my car to priority to get a second opinion after going to the dealer, and priority told me I needed brakes,rotors and calipers the dealer told me I needed brake pads and turn the rotors so the dealer quoted me $ $325 and priority quoted me $1,150 so before you have them do the work make sure you get a second opinion or you know cars, or just go someplace else Im not into paying $825 I dont have. So use Extreme Caution before going to PRIORITY AUTO AND TIRE

They didnt know what the problem was and changed for a diagnosis and they didnt have a diagnosis machine they was tapping the starter to get it to start when the whole time that was the problem it wouldnt start at frys and I called them and thats how I found out how they Jerry rigged the car to get it to start telling bring to the shop for more repairs talking about $300 on top of the $580 they just changed me so I opt out went to auto zone got a starter put it on myself and the starter was only 179plus $35 off for the core. Not a certified shop if all you do is guesstimate and change $150 for labor and $200 for fake diagnostics

These guys are great. First went to them because my car happened to stall in front of their shop. They stayed late and fixed my car, so I could use it to drive to work the next day. I cant say enough good things. Have been back multiple times for different issues and they are always polite and friendly. They have gone out of their way to make sure I get safely on my way. Who does that anymore? They really understand customer service and I can now say I have a car guy lol.

Charged us appx. $1300 to fix 2 issues & both times the same issues arose only 2 weeks later. Priority wanted even more $ to fix the same thing again (as they weren’t adequately repaired the 1st time). They won’t fix the vehicle without even more money so we’ll be taking our business elsewhere. No integrity, zero customer satisfaction this time.

Drop my car off for service is twice and got my car return with broken parts and it drives worser than when I dropped it off the owner is the one who service my car and delivered it to my apartment with broken parts inside my engine when I ask for my receipt I was told it wasnt in the system he fake made one up real quick little does he know I have both receipts I call the Better Business Bureau and Im currently looking for a lawyer. My check engine light was on when I dropped it off for services and when I picked it up from Services it was still on till this day its still on

I have been going to Jeff and his shop now for almost as long as he has had it open and I could not be happier. For one, priority is a family run shop so the money you spend goes back into our community. Being an older female its hard to find a shop you know you can trust. Even though I know a little bit about cars being around car business for many years I would feel comfortable sending someone who could not tell you the diff from a fuel pump (which he just changed at a fair price) from a water pump. Customer service is outstanding and he has gone above and beyond looking for parts from my much loved but older GMC SUV. They have always stood behind their work and have stayed late to get my veh back to me. Even better this shop wont try to upsell you stuff you dont need like many of the auto repair chains out here. With the quality of work, customer service and prompt turn around this is a shop that is going to be a part of our city for many years to come.
