This is a great shop!!! The choices were almost endless. The sales staff was very helpful and problem solved a downed credit card system like champs. Ill absolutely be going back.

Rooms and rooms of wall to wall beads. I was amazed by the shear amount of beads inside of this building. This shop is a hidden gem. If you like beading or making jewelry you need to check this shop out!

Nice bead store. Most of the beads are individually priced. There are some strands. Some different shaped gemstone strands. Nice selection of colors in the S lon for kumihimo. Prices are average.

Very expensive. About 60-70 percent markup and horrible service. Buy online and skip the bad attitudes. We were treated badly here and no apologies for the service we received. Too bad to see a small business not care about the customer.Edit. The woman working here is mean. She told us to shop elsewhere which we will in the future for sure. I would fire anyone who treated my customers like this! If you hate your job then dont take it out on us.Also after speaking with the owner in person he seemed nice and so I offered to change my review. Now since hes decided to respond like this I know he was only faking being nice.Warning. This company doesnt care about you. Look at their responses to bad reviews. Horrible experience. Owner tried to make up for and apologize for his older lady employee that made us so uncomfortable. Kyle was going to change his review to a better one but it got late. But the response the owner gives online is lies. Not cool! Too bad you are too much of a monopoly in Tuscon. Such bad business. We expect better of small businesses. I love this place, theyre super nice and really helpful and they know their stuff. They also have stuff for every level of beading and jewelry making. Their prices are reasonable and selection is PHENOMENAL! If I had unlimited money I would spend a lot of it here!

Beadholiday was awesome. They actually stayed open past their hours and never said anything to let me finish. The selection was abundant and eclectic. They were very helpful and really nice people. I spent almost $300 by the time I was done. They have a nice gemstone bead selection and lots of lovely pendants. I certainly recommend. I wouldve liked larger turquoise beads, but, hey, that was the only fault. I bought a lot of copper and silver beads, some findings, and an awesome amber pendant. Go when you have time to look around, theres quite a collection here.

Worked at the place a little over 8 years...most incredible selection of bead/jewelry-making materials and accessories. Found something new almost every day, for 8 years...that’s pretty incredible. I was looking for a new bead store since moving to Tucson. I am shocked in part by the reviews but hands down by the owners response to the reviews. How does an adult man and business owner who’s been in business this long think it’s okay to speak to customers this way? People vocalize their concerns- mostly for being treated poorly by staff- and the owner is condescending online even going as far as to devalue their purchases siting the exact amount they spent in store and belittle them. I can’t even bring myself to support this business or walk in the door. The owner describes himself as someone completely ungrateful for his customer base and unwilling to accept constructive criticism. Out of all the people saying what a turn off it is to check their bags with total strangers, his response is to say that it is to protect himself from the very few people that have stolen. If it is so few it seems like he would make the greater population happy and not expect them to leave their belongings with absolute strangers. Although you won’t like my idea you could at least offer lockers. I worked as a bead store manager for many years and never asked for anyone’s personal belongings. A wonderful way to prevent theft is full staff, kindness, and great customer service. Anyway I was compelled to write this because it’s the first time I was convinced to not even walk into a store not based on the reviews but the responses from the owner. Very childish._______________________________________________These are the responses I’m talking about. It’s not weird to google places when looking for a bead store to go to. Seeing a small business owner respond to people like you do is truly bizarre and there’s no way I would give you my business. Your responses to people and customers are disgusting! If you want I can walk in and out so you are more comfortable with my review of you but you won’t get my business with the story of your business partner and how you treat people.

I just found my new favorite shop for beads, selection is beyond huge. They have 5 rooms pretty much wall to walll with beads. I was there for 2 hours today and only got through 2 rooms.

I had originally recommended BEADholiday on both here and facebook as you can see in the images I posted, because of the poor customer service response regarding my experience with checking my bag at the cpunter I have decided to revise my review. Next time I work on a project requiring beads I will be looking for a alternative jewelry store. I had originally enjoyed my experience at the store and have shopped here several times because of their selection and convenient location. But as a business owner myself I know it is important to do whatever you can to make an unhappy customer feel satisfied. The response that I was left by David Smith didn’t make me feel comfortable and was quite dismissive of my concerns. There has gotta be a better way to handle this, if someone expresses a concern with checking their bag and you are not willing to hire more employees to keep a watchful eye on the store maybe offer the customer the option to have their bag search upon leaving the store instead. I do not feel comfortable handing my bag over to anyone. If you decide to conversate with me in a helpful and customer service oriented manner to figure out a solution I will consider revising my negative reviews.

To say that Bead Holiday has an extensive array of beads is an understatement. In addition to the usual packages beads there are vast expanses of beads on display arranged by color. Beneath the trays are drawers with even more beads and findings. The offer classes and offer expert advice.

I love bead holiday. I can get larger tubes of beads for better prices than other bead stores including Hobby Lobby. And the staff at Bead Holiday is super knowledgeable and super friendly. I find myself going back again and again for the outstanding prices and great customer service!!

Shopped here for the better part of 16 years. Always find the employees helpful and highly knowledgeable. I learned so much over the years. There is a dizzying array of bead choices. Classes are fun too! I love knowing I can come here and get the supplies to create unique pieces for gifts.

Over priced, and they always over charge you for something on your bill and if your there at close and they do so kiss that money goodbye because they dont take returns and they wont fix the mistake next day. They try to be organized but its a mess and dont think if you find an strand you like and its the last one that they will be getting more in because they most likely wont be and if you ask they wont know the answer either. They have been voted Tucsons best but Im guessing its because there isnt any other options other than big box stores.

Very very impressed. Selection is mind boggling and beads are VERY fairly priced. I was able to get vintage German acrylics, globally accessed pendant art, patinated copper findings, exquisite freshwater pearls along with more mundane items all in the same store!In addition, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about both technique and inventory. I also want to thank them for the help that they gave my husband AND their enthusiasm exhibited to my 8 yr old granddaughter who proceeded to spend ALL but 1$ of her preciously hoarded allowance.They are now my go to store between bead shows!

I was looking for 3 m beads. Wich are not real common. They did have some to choose from. They have a huge inventory of all kinds of things. Prices are decent. Employees are friendly. I will be visiting again.

I stopped in today for some additions to a project I was working on and discovered an exceptionally inviting and helpful staff in a space overwhelmingly filled with beads of all types and sorts from the past century of manufacture. What I thought would be a five minute stop of finding something that would work turned into a half hour of perusing an amazing selection and simply wanting to look at beads that had no relationship to my project at all.

The selection was amazing! One of the employees was pretty rude but, they cant all be winners 🤷🏾‍♀️ Other than him, the place has wonderful beads and more.

This place has a lot of beads it is magical place and they have weird rules about shopping there.

I LOVE Bead Holiday🤗 Been making Jewelry for many years and BH has always been here for all the beads and findings I have ever needed. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, even the owner is onsite often which means a great deal to me! I am a 5th generation Tucsonian and believe all of us need to support our local businesses! The selection of beads and findings are larger than ANY other store in town and their prices are reasonable. Although I am sure some people do not like or feel comfortable having to give their purse to be put behind the front counter I think its great because I dont have to carry it around with me. My only disappointment is that they no longer have the punch card that gave you a huge discount after spending a certain amount of money, however sales are ran often and people who say BH is too expensive need to remember, You get what you pay for! .......and no I am not a paid spokperson for saying all this, I am just a satisfied customer 😎

I would actually rate this 3.5 stars, and a couple of years ago Id have rated it 5 stars. I really like the owner, theres a HUGE variety, and the place is fairly organized. My recent experience was disappointing for the following reasons: despite the store being fairly organized, their silver plated findings and types of stone or metal are not indicated on most of their items. This never bothered me in the past; staff was very hands on, interested in your projects, and eager to point you to the right supplies. However, they now have a girl (the one with green hair) working there who is not only disinterested in answering questions, but actually pretty passive aggressive. I dont usually work with silver plated findings, but I needed some. I asked her if she could direct me to them. She seemed to be breaking down a box for recycling, and got frustrated with me immediately, just from the one question. She began to point to a few things and I was listening patiently. Suddenly she stopped talking, sighed/scoffed and rolled her eyes as if giving in to the fact that she would need to come around the counter. I quickly gathered that she was frustrated because I knew where the findings were, but couldnt identify which packages were silver plated vs silver colored; the price is marked, but not the material. She tried to recover and be polite after losing her cool over such small things, but I had a few experiences similar to this in the short period of time I was in the store. I had a specific question about a repair project and finally bothered the owner in the other room. He was pretty nice despite being bothered at his computer, and told me what supplies I would need and said that he had them in stock. I had several items on my list, actually. But frazzled and frustrated, not wanting to ask his employee for help in finding the materials, I gave up and left with very few items, feeling like I wasnt welcome in the store. Its very disappointing. I loved this store; Ive referred countless people here. But I dont even want to go back to get the rest of my supplies because I dont want to apologize every time I need help. At that point Id actually rather go to Michaels, which is not my preferred store. I wish I knew what days that employee worked so I could avoid her and still be able to enjoy the store and gather the supplies that I needed. I like being polite, but I dont like feeling like I have to interact with someone who is rude and inconvenienced by her job because I need help identifying unmarked items. Especially because the things I need are in the display which was not only covered, but you have to ask someone to see the items and this does take some of their time. So Id have to interact with her MUCH more than Id like to. :(
