Small shop but LOTS of great pieces, and affordable. Bought a beautiful polished sphere of obsidian, some fluorite, and a little mixed bag of gems (tiger eye, sodalite, etc). Also bought my boyfriend an obsidian spear head - we just watched Game of Thrones and its the same as dragon glass - super beautiful piece and a great present! Will definitely be going back again soon!

One of the best rock shops we have been to. We agree from Phoenix, would say this is worth the drive for better prices. These owners are Craftsman, tumble their own inventory, make Amazon jewelry !!

Great little store with prices that are not unrealistic alot of dyed stuff but I enjoyed the atmosphere and they were very clean wiping my cards and requiring people to sanitize their hands at the entry. They have another part of the store that is all jewelry style products. A rock stand for the kids to fill bags of beautiful little stones. Lots of small pieces to that are good for making projects with and are super cheap!

This place is absolutely amazing!!! My wife and I are both rock and gem nerds, and anywhere and everywhere we go, we’re always looking for different places that have rocks and gems. Dah Rock Shop is by FAR one of the best and most well rounded shops I have ever experienced!!! They have it all. Some incredible specimens in a variety of different categories!!! They have both refined and unrefined gems and rocks. In addition, they also carry lapidary tools, as well as a variety of books that will help readers locate stones on their own in different locations!!! So many of my favorite pieces in my collection were acquired at Dah!!! We even bought a Himalayan Salt lamp for a nightlight for my daughter’s room and they beat the prices I had seen for these anywhere. If you are a lover of rocks, gems, and minerals; do yourself a favor and stop into this place, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!!!

They have top grade everything! Very friendly people. The prices are what theyre supposed to be. So many places sell quartz, fluorite, etc for ridiculous prices but Dahs is fair. If you are into rocks they have a wite section of rocks/mined minerals to look at. Both raw and polished. They also have tools and equipment if you polish your own rocks, or want to learn how to do so.

No one helps theyre kind of shy and theyre more worried about people shoplifting more than they are making good customers an relationships that could last... My ending statement they will be there for a while but they wont make it in long run... and if they are rude to you when you come in if you are a new customer dont mind it they are just curious to see if you are a shoplifter or if you are a real customer.

We drove up from Phoenix to spend the night & had some time before check in. I researched all the rock & gem shops online & based on the pictures & reviews, I chose Dah Rock shop. The photos online promised a large selection with open shelving, (as opposed to being under glass) and it didnt disappoint! I also was looking for some unusual bigger pieces which they had in almost every category & the prices compared to those throughout Phoenix were crazy reasonable! I bought a large, beautiful amethyst geode that was 19 tall x 10 wide which was on sale from $265 to $239! They also have an entire room of gemstone beads, cabochons, jewelry and lapidary equipment. If you want a broad selection of stones that are reasonably priced, then this is your place!

Out of all the rock and gem stores I have traveled and visited to, Dah Rock Shop is the only one that holds a special place in my heart.The owners will take care of you and listen to your needs if you are genuine and respectful to them, every time I have come here to buy gifts for myself, family and friends I have always left satisfied and ecstatic.The quality of their crystals is incredible, their prices are more than reasonable and they even possess some of the more rare specimens in their cases. Moreover, if you are looking for locally found pieces they carry those as well!Even though I no longer live in Tucson I will always make an attempt to visit the uplifting energy this shop gives me each time I walk in the door.Do not waste your time with any other rock shop but this one!

Nice staff and a great selection of minerals, fossils, and gemstones. Prices are very reasonable. Purchased a shiva lingam stone for under $4 and a two-inch tall fluorite tower for $7.50.. The back section of the shop has strung and loose beads and jewelry. They carry tumbled gems and cut gems in most varieties. Tons of crystals. Will definitely be going back.

There were many Arizona minerals and crystals--just what I was seeking. Besides, a diverse selection from around the globe fascinated--running from less to more to most expensive. Also, a room of jewelry-making supplies entertained the imagination. The place was a tad cramped and not a place to ask geology questions.

Got a great Amethyst orb here for a very nice price deep purple too.

My 3 daughters, age 7 and 10 were fascinated with all the rocks on display. I found a pair of orthoceras fossil bookends at a great price, and the girls each got an array of beautiful stones for about $10 each. Dah Rock Shop is definitely on our list of fun places to go in Tucson.
