This is a really sad story. I used to love this place and was a loyal customer for over 20 years. I used to believe in supporting local business. That is until those businesses turned on their own customers last year. I was inside the store the day everyone lost their minds and was joking with the staff about how crazy people were behaving, with customers going so far as buying gallons of everclear and dumping it on their hands while still in the store. Then Plaza implemented the most severe restrictions of any business Ive yet come in contact with. They closed the building to the public and even stopped accepting cash. They bought into the fantasy, hook, line and sinker. Only now, almost 2 years later did they take down the sign outside worshiping their god, the god of masks. Ill never forget. Ill never be back. Ill never support local business again like I used to, because it was the large businesses that were the ones not bullying people and demanding they pretend to live in the same world of make believe. I buy beer, wine, and liquor at Safeway now. It really breaks my heart. This place was an institution.

I showed up 7:50 and waited in line for 15 minutes until 8:05. I finally drove up to the window and the only thing the lady working said was We close at 8 and you werent in line by then. Then she shut the window and walked away before I could respond. I dont mind being told that you are closed but I am surprised by how rude your staff was. I live in the neighborhood, always have a smile on my face, and have loved the service here before, but this was really a surprise. I now know to take my business elsewhere - not for better quality, but for better customer service and plain common courtesy.

This place has a shocking array of spirits, many things simply not available at big liquor dealers. Yes, it looks like a hole in the wall from the street, and feels like a maze once inside, but it manages to cram in more than you will believe. The employees we met were knowledgeable and gave good advice. They also have a remarkable wine and craft beer selection.

Plaza liquors is a hidden gem on the busy street of Campbell. Not like your typical liquor store. This place has a great selection of alcohol all around! The service is awesome and the prices are fair! I love coming here to pick up a good bottle of wine or beer. I definitely recommend it!

Wow. This place has everything. I was shocked to see black-boss-porter in stock, and also that it was less than 3 bucks. Also the whiskey section is incredible. I didnt even go through the whole store, but Im sure the awesomeness keeps going all the way through.

Not where Id go for a super-cheap drink, sure — but a perfect place if I need to talk to someone who knows way more about booze than I ever will. The staff is significantly more friendly than I expected for a liquor store.

This place has a lot of more obscure brands of beer and cider. Id recommend any of the CiderBoys ciders or any of the Rekorderlig ciders. Friendly service and free containers to make your own four or six packs!

They do not carry the typical Grocery Store wines (Kendall Jackson) but carry smaller producers like Davis Bynum, Trentadue and Ridge. I live in Scottsdale and visit Tucson a couple times a year.
