Steve was rude and flat out disrespectful. I ended up walking away from a car i really wanted in this lot, just so i wouldnt have to speak with this guy anymore. He acted as though i was just an inconvenience. When i brought up the fact that the car i was interested in had 4 open recalls, his exact words were thats your problem, you can spend your time taking it to get them fixed at the dealership cuz were not gunna do it! I would not recommend anyone to shop here. There are plenty other options with better pricing out there...these guys need a real lesson in better customer service and just plain common decentcy.(Reply to company response)As you can see.. even their responses to unsatisfied reviews are rude and disrespectful.. if you see other poor reviews below..thats not how we remember it seems to be their go to response... Or even going as far as banning accounts from being able to leave reviews...guess you not only have a customer service problem but a memory problem as well because this was just today.. response is also filled with grammatical errors ... Just the tip of your unprofessional iceberg i guess.. just a word of advice... these reviews should be taken as an opportunity to improve your company, and give you a second chance to right what youve wronged..instead your responses show you are using them as a chance to argue with someone you have already left a bad impression on...not a good look..thanks for your response.. totally proved my point 👍

I had been looking for a quality truck with reasonable mileage for quite a while. Id been to Canyon a few times to visually evaluate the inventory on 2 prior occasions, and both times Steve simply helped me answered my concerns. The third time was a charm and just as it happened before, Steve allowed me and my wife to size up every car of interest and with his no pressure approach held our hands thru the entire purchase process. The best and most honest used car dealers I’ve ever dealt with. Mine was an out of state purchase. Stuart was fair on the price and made sure he answered all my questions about an out of state transfer. No BS here that most dealers give you. He was efficient with the paper work, communication was an A+, explained the service history and pointed out the blemishes. Once the papers were signed the Mini Cooper arrived at my home within a week of finalizing the paperwork! I was blown away how smoothly everything went and how fast I received the car. He worked with my bank and provided all the necessary papers for California registration. Got car registered here in California with zero issues.Thanks again for the honest and efficient service. It definitely separates you from other used car dealerships.

If you are looking for a great deal here in Tucson, look no further! The guys here were so helpful and willing to work hard to help out. I had made a poor decision on a car four years ago that I was still paying for and felt like I could not get out of it. When I pulled into their lot I was immediately greeted by Stuart who was excited to show me the truck I was interested in. He let me test drive it and looked at my car while I was on the test drive. All their inventory is super clean and very well taken care of! I was surprised how nice each truck was I looked at. Of course once I got on the road I knew I wanted the truck I had come to look at. Once I was done we discussed my current car and just how upside down I was in. I was told that I probably would not be able to get the truck I want because of my own poor decisions earlier in life, but they had something similar for me to look at. After letting me test drive five different trucks over four days, I got a very excited call that they got me into the truck I wanted at a lower payment and better rate then I had now. Im pleased with the service I received from Canyon Auto Sales when shopping for a used vehicle. I knew exactly what I wanted and requested out-the-door offers from multiple dealers for that vehicle. Just want to say this place made it happen for me. They basically gave the truck away to me it feels like. They dropped the price 5k bucks for me. And gave me 3k more than my trade in is even worth. Low key, Vic was willing to fix what I asked to be fixed, listened and acted upon the comments I made about some of the fixes, Stu sent my credit app through multiple lenders to find the best deal. Might want to be careful if you are a no BS kind of person. Just tried to negotiate on a vehicle they have there and was treated rudely by Steve. I was very interested and did all my own due diligence before calling him. I have been looking around for a while as I have specific things I want in our third car, but looking for a good deal, not unreasonable like Steve would have you believe. I offered what my bank valued the car at, even though it has after market upgrades. (he wants me to pay retail when they wouldnt have on a trade) The tone he took with me was I dont know what I am talking about... even after trying to tell him I had done my research. He would not really let me talk. Bottom line... if you like someone talking down to you, telling you that you need to be there to talk numbers (I am in Phoenix and wanted to go down there to fill out the paperwork and pick it up only, like an out of state deal, which he knew and still wanted me to go there, I wonder why?) or just flat out refusing to hear you out then this is the place and ask for Steve. At least come back with something... I get the game... I come in low, you come in high and we get somewhere we both can live with. Nope, Steve went with condescension. Out of all the deals I have negotiated over the years this was the quickest and rudest.

I was looking for a 2006-2007 Jeep Liberty with low miles, but everything in Iowa had rust already starting on the inside of the doors from winter road chemicals. Found one at Canyon Auto Sales with just 52000 miles. They description over the phone was detailed and they had plenty of photos to make sure we werent surprised. They even arranged for some new tires so we could just grab they keys and go without messing with getting fresh rubber installed elsewhere. Yea, it is 23 hours of driving from Tuscon to Des Moines, but finding a fresh, low mileage Jeep at an honest dealership was worth it. They even added a 3000 miles warranty to make sure we were covered on the way home.

I want to say thank you to all the staff. The whole experience of buying a car can sometimes be very frustrating. These guys were very polite, never pushy, upfront and willing to work with us. Luther especially was a wonderful person to deal with. For instance, after we purchased the car, our clock spring broke. We let Luther know and he took care of us right away. He found a place for us to fix it, and took care of our car. The car was even out of warranty. This is what I call customer service. I will be back to purchase my next car from them. Thank you all!

Our mantra has been never to buy any vehicle from a lot - only private party. My view has changed since we first started looking at 2006 Honda Ridgeline at Canyon. Andy, Nick, Jen, and Justin were truly wonderful to work with. I have no question about the integrity of this group. I never felt that I was going through the whole used car salesman runaround. This group is straightforward and easy to work with. I appreciated their kindness and willingness to work with us through out the process. While my general view of the used car lot has not much changed, Canyon Auto is true carve out and outlier. So pleased we found them.

Terrible customer service. Did credit application was approved for truck that was on the lot. I scheduled a test drive with salesman Vick for 9am the next day, as i work 12 hour shifts I explained to him It would have to be early . He calls me back says the manager took the vehicle home with him and would need to reschedule test drive. Why would you take a vehicle home when someone is ready to come test drive and is already done a credit application for said vehicle. Lost me as a customer and hopefully many more.

I located a vehicle online and responded to Canyon Auto Sales to look at and test drive the vehicle. This was my fourth dealership to visit that day. Might I say that I was pleasantly surprised with my overall experience. In the past, I have been hesitant to do business with the smaller dealerships in town. My opinion has now changed as a result of doing business with Canyon Auto Sales. I was permitted to take the vehicle to my wife while she was at work during the test drive on the west side of town. After determining that I wanted to purchase this vehicle, a fair purchase price was agreed upon. The overall staff interaction was a great experience. It included a no pressure environment as you wouldnt typically expect from a car dealership. After purchasing the vehicle, I noted several issues with it and contacted Andy (owner) via telephone. Andy simply instructed me to bring the vehicle back and he would take care of the issues. The vehicle was dropped off just prior to the close of business. The following day, I received a telephone call from Andy informing me that the repairs were complete. After this experience, I felt it was necessary to pull Andy aside to speak with him individually. My conversation with him was simple and genuine. I informed Andy that my overall experience was so positive that I wouldnt hesitate to purchase additional vehicles from him in the future. Went to Canyon with my son looking for a truck for him, and while they didnt have what he was looking for, the salesman was very helpful. It was a extremely hot day out and we had gone to other dealerships where the salesmen didnt even want to come out to help us. The salesman not only came out to help, but never complained when we wanted to look at other cars that we hadnt really been looking for. We ended buying a car for ourselves while we there.

So here is a truck that my bro Merlyn Rogers was writing a review about. Its a 2012 with 110k miles on it and here is whats funny... They want $40,000+ and its not even a one ton OR a dually, its a little 3/4 ton. Dont deal with these fools. Talk about over pricing. LOL. And I dare them tell me that I dont know what Im talking about, I own 6 RAM truck DUALLY trucks that are LOADED TO THE NUGGETS and I know exactly what I paid for them with 1 mile on them. I also know exactly what I paid for my Laramie with EVERY SINGLE OPTION this truck has + mine has a sunroof/moonroof. Sorry used car guys, I got a lot more info apparently. But that price..... Its true that youre ripping people off on some vehicles.

Steve was awesome and Canyon offered a fantastic deal on my purchase. My wife and I were greeted right away and watched as he handled other customers just as respectfully. We bought a 2014 KIA Sorento. We are very happy that we drove away from the New Kia dealer for this deal. We were offered a better deal on our trade (which was shocking) and the price of the SUV was the lowest we found on the internet for a model with miles as low as what our new baby has. We dodge a ton of depreciation and put no cash down for our SUV which still has some factory warranty and Canyons 3month 3,000mile warranty. and the icing on our cake was a free 2 years of oil changes. In summary there were no hidden charges, the deal was great, and no extras were crammed down our throats.

I was told that I had to put down at least 5000 dollars as a down payment for a car in order for these people to work with me since I work part time but the problem I found sketchy is the car I wanted to get was $3556 but the people at this dealership could not even tell me what the other $1500 was for. I eventually left being frustrated cause no one was honest and all these people wanted was to over charge me for a car listed for less then the down payment. if I could give these people no stars then I would for their shady business.

I walked in and asked if they have a car around $4-5k suitable to do Lyft. So the guy behind the desk stood up walk to the door, hold the door open and with a condescending tone said:”we don’t have a car for you to do Lyft, we don’t have anything less than $8k here”. Quick and painful.

My Husband and I stopped by Canyon Auto Sales to look at a 2012 VW Passat TDI that was for sale, we had been looking for a Diesel Car for quite some time so we were excited to check it out. We read some great reviews about Canyon Auto and we wanted to see if they lived up to it! Luther was our sales guy and he was awesome, he wasnt pushy, he was just there to answer questions and give us great info and advice! I have many family members that are in car sales so I know what to look for, with that said, Luther and Canyon Auto are legit! After the purchase I ran into a few very small issues with the vehicle and they took care of them right away and were very accommodating! I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

We bought a 04 F-350 with 89k actual miles that was exactly as the presented it. It has been my experience (Im 70 so have a little) as a car guy since I was a kid that used car lots and sales people are more often that not sketchy at best and had intended to look at a different truck when we ended up at Canyon (my wife and I originally ment to go to a different lot) and saw this F-350 and while we were looking it over we were approached by a salesman (Luther) he was very cordial and not at all pushy, he gave us the current info about the vehicle, said the engine had been gone thru and cited a few other things that had been done. While on the test drive (without Luther) we realized this wasnt the truck we originally drove to Tucson from the Prescott area (200+ miles) to see but the way we were treated by Luther and his sales manager was awesome. Also Luther mailed us all of the receipts for all the work that was done while the truck was at Canyon which was in excess of 3 grand! If we ever need another vehicle Canton is the 1st. place well look. Thx...Wes

Canyon auto was my first experience in buying a car. The used car dealership/salesman stereotype is not the case at this place! All of the staff was polite and informativr to my wife, my two small children and myself. It was very apparent that the dealership cared about my familys needs for a vehicle!! Everything was explained to me in very simplistic terms on the agreement, and I walked awy with a vehicle feeling confident, and knowledgeable in our choice to buy from canyon Auto. I strongly reccomend Canyon Auto and applaud their unheard of, outstanding customer service in the auto industry!
