Poor sales people and service people. I needed another car after I had purchased one from them and would not return even though they had 2 of the exact vehicles I wanted. I bought somewhere else and settled for a car that suitable but not just what I wanted. But what can you do?

First off, I want to advise you if you buy a car here, ask for Angel! He is absolutely THE BEST, attentive, courteous, accomodating. He really works for you. My husband is disabled and we were unable to go to the dealership. I sent a request about a pickup I was interested in, and Angel called me within minutes. My first question was if he could bring the pickup to us for the test drive. he didnt hesitate for a minute, and we set up an appointment to bring the pickup to us. he was there on time with the pickup. We showed him our trade in and did the test drive. My husband has a very difficult time getting into any car, and Angel helped me to get my husband securely into the pickup. As it turned out the pickup wasnt the best option for us. I picked another pickup, and again Angel brought the pickup to us. It was perfect, and we put a deposit on it and Angel did everything for us. He delivered the pickup to us and brought all the paperwork to us. We took possession of our new pickup and Angel drove off in our trade in. This Guy is Really Something! No need to ask for any other salesmen. Insist on Angel, you will not be disappointed! This was the best car buying experience Ive ever had, and Ive bought a lot of vehicles from several different dealerships. Chapman Value Center on Palo Verde is the Best, and Angel is the only salesperson to deal with, I promise!

The salesman knew what we were looking for with the money we hadand showed us EXACTLY what weneeded. I ended up buying a car that was 10 years old but it only had28,000 miles so it was like purchasinga 1 year old car a Suburu Outbacksuper super clean I didnt have tohagel with Jorge because he knewwhat I was willing to spend on a usedcar. Bought our Jeep Renegade yesterday and was very impressed with the transparency and honesty both Jorge and Gabriel showed. The first vehicle we went to look at didnt work out, but Jorge found a nicer, newer model for an even better price at the other location and even brought it to us to drive and complete the deal. Gabriel was awesome, fully detailed and explained everything about financing. Definitely will go back to them in the future!!!

Bought a truck with them a little under a year ago. At first, the truck was awesome but within the same week of the purchase, the check engine light came on (the truck ran just fine and seemed to have no issue it seemed to maybe just have been a sensor). Took it in no problem and they had “fixed” the issue. A couple days later the same issue happened and they were able to take the truck in again and I was then given a rental care for 2 days so they had a good amount of time to assess the issue without me having to come and go to the dealership. Ever since, the truck has been wonderful! I get there will be companies who are not able to satisfy everyone but this place really worked with me and was able to take me in and assess my concerns. Due to the hassle, they even threw in a dash mat for the truck. Would definitely recommend purchasing through Chapman!

Poor! Went in with a wheel barrel full of money and could make a deal.... going to be hard to get me to come back and do business with them. UPDATE: We ended up making a deal but paid for optional dealer add ons I did not want or need. Make sure you tell them you dont want the anti-theft and etched glass.

Very bad experience. Paid cash for a car and then didn’t see paperwork or have any “extras” discussed until end. Our fault for not stopping. Salesman was very deceitful about extras. Threw down a number on a piece of paper with no breakdown, again our fault. Paid for 2 options we didn’t want. Also only gave us a valet key, didn’t disclose until my husband got in car to bring home. Paid for 2 theft programs that are useless on a 2013 vehicle. Beware!!!Part two of bad experience. Bought car on Dec7th and paperwork was filed with MVD until Jan 14th. Temp tags expire in 2 days. Dealership is blaming MVD. Documents state nothing filed until Jan 14th.They did have locksmith come and give us a key but we had to ask, not disclosed about valet key only.

I have bought a lot of cars in my 50 years and I can say this was one of the worst experiences I have had. I should have trusted the 1 star reviews on here and not have bothered. We texted late Saturday about a Mustang GT for sale. Made an appt to see it today (Monday). Texted salesman when we were on the way and he responded.Hubby and son arrived from work separately so they looked at it mechanically and noted a few items. Salesman gave us the keys and sent us off on a test drive. Returned from test drive and salesman said there was another individual online waiting to buy it but because we were there, we had first dibs. They had us go through examining it on a lift etc and then once inside, eventually we talked numbers. They wouldnt budge from their first number because of the other person waiting so no need to.So as we are thinking our answer is no, the manager says, Heres the deal. We already took a deposit on it. It is getting shipped to NM. Incredibly unprofessional and shady. I would rather you tell me that up front and save me 2 hours and 40 miles round trip.If you still decide to buy from them after this, check the car. This one was leaking oil from the oil filter, leaking rear shock, and needed a new battery. They wait for you to find stuff and dont take the initiative to fix it without putting it on the lot.

I bought a car from Chapman less than 1 year ago. At the time of purchase, we were told that all their cars had a GPS system installed in case it was ever stolen. We went on thinking that was a very smart program. We finalized the paperwork and took the car home. When we returned the car to have the system installed, we were told that the GPS system was actually a kill switch that ensured payment was made on time or they would switch the car off until payment was made. This was not verbalized during the time we were going over the car information. Also, when we signed and were ready to take the car, we realized that the key ignition had to be jiggled just a little to be able to turn the car on. We notified them of that and have never heard back from them!!! I am anxiously awaiting the time when we can finally get rid of the car and trade it in!!!! Never again will I do business with them. We have bought two other vehicles since then but went with other dealerships. When we tell them of our experiences with Chapman, they have some choice words. Beware; make sure you get all information before signing with them.

I bought a car in May this year and had problems with a service airbag sensor coming on took it in and they said it didn’t have anything wrong with it. Now the car won’t turn on the same I pay my car payment early so I won’t have to worry about it and the battery on the car is checked so was the starter and alternator all work fine but still some how the car has a 50/50 chance of turning on or not and so far no one is returning my calls.

They didnt fix all the problems when car was side swiped and then came back and said they had no mechanic to work on it and would call me when they did have one. Waited 6 months and went in and asked about what happened and had no clue what to say. Then said the problems with car were not related to accident when the problem wasnt there before. Not happy with them. Now have to pay $1100 out of my own pocket when used should have paid for it. Thanks chapman

Was helped by Juan Reyes, picked up a Mazda 3 2013 with low mileage, salesman was a total gentleman, got me approved for a low rate and lower down payment than expected. Everyone was transparent in the terms of the limited warranty, what they covered, etc.

I have leased and purchased cars from Chapman. I purchased a truck in May of 2016 and although I have had both positive and negative experiences over the years I felt Chapman tried hard to provide good service. Unfortunately I feel as though their service has declined dramatically. When I purchased the truck I also purchased a vehicle service contract from First Automotive which the salesperson ensured me was comprehensive and covered items listed in powertrain, standard, and high tech coverage. I had no problems until February of 2018 when my water pump started to leak. I took it to Chapman and was told it should be no problem for coverage. A short time later I received a call stating it was not covered because I only had wrap coverage which excluded the powertrain and other exclusions. After explaining the assurances I was provided at the time of purchase I was referred to a manager (I will refer to him as manager G). Manager G. advised that they would fix the water pump and he would research what happened with my warranty. He advised it would take a couple of days but for now he would fix the truck at no cost. I was satisfied and very grateful. When I went to pick up the truck I was told that there was an exhaust leak as well. I advised I would wait on that repair until Manager G was able to sort out the issue with the warranty. After a week I left a phone message for manager G and did not get a response. I followed up a couple of weeks later and again had to leave a message. I also followed up with the service department and was advised that they had no answer on the actually warranty but regardless it would not be covered by the First Automotive warranty because there was substantial risk of bolts breaking off when working on the exhaust. I was advised I could call First Automotive for clarification. I advised that I would like to know what my coverage included prior to making that call. I followed up with yet a third message to Manager G explaining that I just needed to know what was discovered about the policy and the difference between what was explained and what the actual coverage included. I did not get a response. I stopped leaving messages and just called off and on until I actually was able to speak to Manager G. directly. After a brief hold I spoke with Manager G via phone at approximately 1:30 on April 25. He advised that he thought the information had been relayed to me and added that he had to finish with a customer and he would email me a copy of my specific coverage when he was done. I thought okay, at least I can move forward. By the time they closed on April 25 at 8:00 PM I still did not have a response, I checked my inbox, my spam folder, and even checked to see if I had accidently deleted the message. No response. On April 26 by 5:00 PM there was still no response. In the end, discussion without follow through accomplishes nothing. My first automotive warranty appears to be very selective on what is covered and not worth the money and effort in my opinion. I accept the old let the buyer beware on that issue because I was the one who willfully followed the information provided by the salesperson and did not look for all of the exclusions, that is my mistake. Not getting timely follow-up on questions and concerns, that is all Chapman and the reason I think their service has declined. Tired of wasting my time trying to get help or answers and will instead will use the time to look for a new service department and dealership for future concerns.

So I got a vehicle in 2017 from the start of had problems I told them but they didnt listen didnt believe me about the problem. Now the vehicle in the shop now thats good but theyll get to it when they can is unacceptable, they work on vehicles but they take there time, their gone for the whole day then try to fix the vehicle when its close to there closing time. Dont even bother trying to get a vehicle here itll die or its a all around bad vehicle look somewhere else. Sales Guys Suck!

I went in thinking this was going to be a negative experiance as a totally different dealership was before being a first time buyer. I decided to give it a try after months with a broken car, and a family. I had called first. The guy was very professional and kind. He told me to go,into the Chapman Paola Verde sense it was closest to me. I made a appointment with me to give me the time and the attention i need or more if needed. I went in automatically greeted with kindness by Adrain Franco. I had told him exactly what i was looking for in payments with this loan, our experiance before, and everything. He had pulled up cars. He was very patient& had let us drive or look at the cars6 hours later weighing our options out when we had fallen in love with one car. He had the manager involved to make it work. We had something set exactly how we wanted it. When we had a hiccup due to the loan and not them. They had made a deal with the loan which turn out our payments lower then what we wanted and a brand new 2010 madza 3 s sport. They were defiantly pro customer. I would reccomend them. It was a overall postive experiance. They did everything they can for,you to get into a car you wanted, very professional, kind, listen, didnt push you, and took,there time. Please go to this dealership if,you can get Adrian Franco. I will buy from here again if needing a car.

I was planning to buy a car from a different car lot, but as I passed by I decided to come here and just look at a few cars. Here I was met by Andrian Franco. I told him my current situation. He said they had a program that would allow me to get a newer car then I thought was possible. We looked at 3 cars, test drove one, and the next day I was driving home a 2011 Honda. Called me and texed everyday until i finally went in. Had only one car that i was APPROVED for. Left in the car for 1 1/2 hours to get comfortable with it so paperwork could be done. Brought in my 500.00 down but later i was asked for 500.00 more. Then was told i need to pay that 500.00 in 2 weeks but call and say i only have 250.00. I told the man i wouldnt even have that. 4 hours later he is no where to be found as i spent the entire afternoon alone. Now hes with someone else and told me hed be right there. Needless to say i left and no one even noticed. Not a call asking where i went. Lost 245.00 out of my wallet that i left on the back of the truck. I took off so mad i wasnt thinking. I have purchased a total of five units from Chapman Automotive. Two I purchased at Chapman Used on Palo Verde. I had a great experience from the moment I arrived at the dealership with my family to see the vehicles and till the end when we finanlized the purchase. I was surprised to receive a thank you card from the sales person less than a week after we bought the vehicle. Over I believe they treated me in a profesional manner. Probably the worst buying experience I have ever had. I purchased the vehicle after already having a rough experience with another Chapman lots sales staff. Everything started with me going to look at a vehicle they had listed on their website, only to arrive and be told that the car wasnt for sale because it was a trade-in that ended up having a major flaw so they werent going to sell it after all. Great, so the company is actively looking over cars...I thought. Moving onto the next car, we find a great SUV that my wife and I both agree on. It was late in the day so we had to put things on hold. We talked figures with the finance guy and sales guy. Were told a bunch of figures that sounded promising, but the next day we received a call with all new figures and a complete lack of explanation. All I kept getting was come in and well talk about it, frustrated I went to another lot (Palo Verde) to deal with someone I had previously talked to.We walked the lot and my wife fell in love with a SUV they had there. Took it for a test drive, all seemed well, we took it home that day. The issues started the next morning. Wake up and go to drive and get an AWEFUL grinding sound from the rear end as well as clunking in the front end while turning. It goes away after a short amount of time, but naturally I take it in. They have the truck for 2 days, only to be told that nothing is wrong and basically Im full of it. No one is even willing to talk to me about it, I am simply handed the keys when I pick it up and brushed off. The issue was still there, every morning its started up there is was awful sound that came from under the car. Im mechanically inclined enough to determine what it is after some trouble shooting. Someone put the incorrect fluid in the rear differential. Ok, so $50 and about an hour of my time and the issue is fixed. The clunk in the front end winds up being bolts in the frame itself clunking around, one I might add I cannot easily access without tearing into the front end of the truck. Next week the water pump blows out completely, leaving me stranded in a parking lot until I can get some water and limp it home. Now I know that the water pump is one of those things that can just go, so I cannot hold that over their head, but simply added to the frustration of it all. Next thing to go was the poorly patched leather seats as they tear open revealing HORRIBLY conditioned seats that were hidden with a glue on patch kit. In the end it has just been one thing after another with the truck and I regret ever purchasing it from them. Im now so far in over my head on it that it will be years before I can be out from under it too. I can honestly say that its obvious this company is more concerned with hide the issue and sell then it is with actually selling quality products. I received a one year phone call from the company too, asking how I liked the truck and if I was ready to buy another one. After going over my issues with this individual, I got a Well sorry, have a good one. So since they werent able to sell me another one, there was no sense in attempting to work with me on anything else. Awful sales tactics at its best.

Do not refer anybody after purchasing a vehicle from Chapmans for a referral fee as they well not honor the referral fee, I spoke with four different individuals who all took my information including the manager who stated they would have a check for me to pick up in person for waiting so long, he would call me when the check was ready that was a month ago and have no heard from him, called again 3 different times and again all information was taken was told it would be in the mail and have yet to receive anything from Chapmans, They informed my the last time I called I would receive it by Wednesday of last week here we are Monday of the following week and nothing, I was nice enough to refer a customer who plunked down 4000 in cash as a down payment and they cant seem to send me 150 dollar referral fee, it is not about the money its the principle, you refer someone they voluntarily give you $150 they give you their business card and tell you make sure you send your family and friends do not refer anyone you well get the round around just like they have done to me for the past 55 days . Stay away from ChapmansI did finally get a check, which I picked up 65 days after my friend purchased the vehicle. Funny thing my name was wrong on the check and my address was wrong, you would think after talking to five different individuals and giving them all my information they would get it right. I do not know if that was on purpose. I was asked to post that I had received my check by the manager of Chapmans .so here it is. I still well never do business with chapmans again so consumer beware!!!!!!

Very bad experience Jaime JJ sold us a very expensive rebuilt accident car and with a lot of interest and when we realized that the car had already been accident we returned to say that the car had already been rebuilt, they responded to us for that fact they treated us very badly a certain Isaac would never return to that abusive place
