We have been going to Marjon Ceramics for more than 10 years mostly to support local businesses but also because of the helpful, friendly service. Not so today - mostly rude and really not interested in helping us with what we needed. We both will think twice before going back and plan on finding what we need online.😶

Possibly the best store in Arizona dedicated to craft pottery. They only sell primary components, not finished products. Clay, colors, some forms, some spinning wheels. They have big time experience in all their stuff and will special order for you...very good people to deal with. They have been there since the 60s...

Kind of run down and off the beaten path,but evidently the only place in Tucson where modeling clay is available

I buy and sell pottery for my business, but am new to the creation process. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable, and helped me find the right size kiln shelves for a diy wood fire kiln. I also picked up some clay and glaze at really great prices. The selection was overwhelming and Ill definitely have to plan my next visit soon. :)

Possibly the only local resource for potters. I get great supplies as well as fantastic advice from the people here. Great resource for hobbyists but, perfect for teachers and parents, too.

Bad customer service. For sure, they need to improve their customer service when the client is NOT white!!! especially the old woman. If you are NOT white, I don’t recommend to spend your money with these people.

Great place, wish they had an east side location

Diverse products with knowledge staff. I paint low fire bisque. Duncan and mayco products are well stocked. I bought three faulty bottles of paint out of many. 1 was dried up, 2 were completely liquified to the consistency of water. I was able to contact the supplier and obtain new ones for the liquified colors. They sell kilns here too. They have a diverse stock of bisque. 1/2 price of bisque to fire. 4x4 tiles are 1.25 each

I was told by a friend to go see this store. I went and the greeting i got from them was so dang bad. The moment i walk in she like at like she didnt want me in the store. my husband went outside and i continue to look around. I ask her ( the older lady ) about something she turn her back on me like i wasnt there. Then this husband and wife came in she turn right around saying can i help you both. funny she just look at me like she didnt want to help me. I was going to buy some things, but Im not now. ill order online better. If you are white she will be glad to help you. but if your a different race good luck on getting help or a thank you from her. a very rude person i may say. I walk away saying Thank you. she didnt say one word to me and her back was turn like she didnt hear me.she was looking for my husband thinking he was going to steal from the place. like i say... very rude customer service.

Always have what you need or have suggestions for where to find them. Very knowledgeable about the field of pottery.

I would give it ZERO STARS, but apparently you must give it one star to be able to write a review.-Customer Service= 0There is no customer service. Nobody acknowledged me. Not even to ask how I was doing, if I needed help with something, etc.-Extremely self absorbed atmosphere that only lends itself to an established potter. You are basically left to fend for yourself. I asked myself, Why would I even want to infuse that kind of energy into my work?-Very sad that I drove all the way from the east side of town (45 minutes) to have this kind of experience.-I wanted to support a LOCAL BUSINESS that was recommended by a teacher nonetheless. I would rather order online at this point.A LESSON TO THIS BUSINESS WOULD BE HUMILITY.
