The staff was very friendly and Mara was a sweetheart. Usually my kids hate going with me to Tandy, but this location was very friendly and inviting, and now my kids want to stop in everytime we come to town. The products and inventory are on par with every Tandy location Ive been to, but the service is superior.

Went to Tandy leather, to find the rudest manager Ive ever met. For now on Ill order what I need online. Tandy leather can go out of business! The saying is true, your business is only as good as your management!

It will be a cold day in hell when I buy anything from you again in the line of leather. A couple weeks back I bought a piece of sole leather for some new moccasin soles. After wetting it to awl the holes and shape them I let them dry in a cool dry place and they went from a 10 to a 6. Not only that but they were as brittle as ice.

For anything you need to work leather, this is your best local supplier. It has been a while since Ive been there. Im an old shoe maker and mostly I was buying larger Lots from larger suppliers. I mentioned when I was there that the thing I loved about it was the smell of new leather. Something short of warm and comforting and I spent a couple hours just carefully checking out everything They Carried. So if you go take your time these are great people and they will help you. My name is Brandi Walters and I wouldnt say it if it wasnt true.

Discriminatory practices. I have Doctor treatment for breathing issues and cannot wear a mask. Tried to enter this store and was refused, when trying to explain this to the workers, the manager told an employee to call the police.I wonder if they would refuse service based on other medical conditions? Physical conditions? Seems like this store has prejudiced bigots working there.Buy your leather here if you want a side of discrimination with your purchase.

This location is fantastic. The staff are incredibly helpful and always go above and beyond to help me when I shop there. Ive learned a lot about working with leather from these guys, and wont shop anywhere else because of them.They sell any kind of leather you need, every tool (and wont hesitate to teach you how to use it), dyes, buckles, threads and lacing, and everything else a person might need.

This place is amazing. They have a huge selection of leather materials, tools, conditioners and oils.Staff here is very helpful. Ive asked them several questions and always get an expert answer.They also have a military discount and you can register an account with it on there.I highly recommend this store. And if you cant get it at the store, they sell their stuff online.

Ive been to Tandy Leather several times and I dont think Ive ever had a bad experience. All the personnel have been friendly and much more than helpful. Im not a leather expert by any means, and Ive had them spend a huge amount of time answering questions giving advice on how to better accomplish a project. I know some store managers dont like hearing this. But Ive had them even stop me from buying something that would just waste my money and not benefit me and help me accomplish my task. That to me is the main thing that lets me know Im dealing with honest caring people and a good company. And that is why I come back again and again. I recommend Tandys to anyone looking to do anything in leather and concerned about dealing with honest caring people.

Everyone here is so nice! I was greeted when I walked in, and asked if I needed assistance. No pressure. I wandered around for 15 minutes and when I started looking confused someone offered to help me again. I love to shop here. And, I just found out they have classes. This might get dangerous.

They have everything you need to work with leather. Everybody here is incredibly friendly and really are experts in the craft. They have great ideas and solutions to offer for any project or craft youre working on.

Great store, the staff is helpful and creative. They dont do the leather work for you but they sell the tools and will walk you through how to do it yourself. They have monthly sales so you should swing by after the first of the month.

Dont usually give 5 stars, but this shop deserves it. We have 2 Tandy stores in Tucson and I drive a good 30 minutes more to shop here. Thanks guys for having what I need and making me feel welcome.

What a great new store! And all the sales reps today were exceptional! Especially the happy, courteous, helpful young man who wore a very cool/interesting leather cuff on his left wrist that he made! You wont see another like it ever!! If you need ANY leather supplies/tools, they have probably EVERYTHING!! Atleast go there and smellll!!

We walked in the store, and not one of the five people, one of which we believe to be the manager, who were working acknowledged us. We spent 20 minutes looking around, with the intention of purchasing several items, despite the outrageous prices. However, they were all too busy laughing and joking with one another to actually provide any sort of customer service. When we were about to leave, someone finally asked if we had questions, to which we responded we did 20 minutes ago when we walked in. I can buy the leather, tools and accessories for half the price online, including shipping. Im sure theyll go out of business a second time with this type of customer service.

They have a great selection and Everyone is always friendly and very helpful. The only downside is its usually pricey you have to wait for the sales.
