One of my favorite stores for everything nerdy. From the strange candies to the anime clothing, theres always something new to look at. Employees are very friendly too.If youre stopping in Id definitely recommend trying out some new snacks before theyre gone!

Found a lot of DVDs on sale. I am a 90s kid, so thats kind of a big deal. I also found a real cool poster.

I love the store, and dont have any problem with the staff. However, I cant stand their obligatory exit interview everytime I go to check out. It brings the line to a screeching halt and is very pushy, tedious and intrusive. I do not for a moment blame the staff -- theyre simply doing their job that some clueless corporate shill mandated. Im sure they suffer endless unpleasantness from it.

Went in to buy some records and the lady who checked us out basically forced us to get a “Free discount card”. We said NO twice, but she still kept asking the questions to sign us up. Then all of a sudden we were picking out 3 magazines for the MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION CHARGE she just signed us up for. That is NOT a FREE discount! That’s a slimy way of forcing unwanted magazine subscriptions on people. Shame on FYE for training the employees to sign people up like that. I do not recommend doing business with this company.

The store is nice. They have cool items. Only problem I have is with the staff. I was in line with one other person in front of me. Staff member asked the guy in front of me if he would like to sign up for a membership card. The guy says no thanks. Staff member then asked if he is sure. Guy says sure I guess. Staff then precedes to ask the guy for his info mean while I can see the look on his face getting more and more frustrated. After the info was taken down the staff member then told him there would be a fee every single month for the card at which the guy said no thanks take me off and then just left the store. I understand the want / needing to promote a membership but please make it known that there is a membership fee at the very beginning along with if someone says no the first time dont try and push it further.

Cool retro store reminds me of the old Hastings bookstore. Definitely awesome to see!

This place has a little bit of everthing. Music, Funko Pops, Super7, and NECA. I always swing in to see what is new.

Been here on various occasions. This store normally has good stock of items and everything is well organized. The only issue I would say is their customer service. Every time I have been here, the employees have not been friendly, helpful, kind, etc. If they all fixed this, then the store would be a lot more enjoyable.

Place had no line, felt comfortable looking has a great selection, prices arent to shabby, but im very frugal with my $, buy things when they are 80% off or more, but I collect Disney movies and we all know they rarely on sale, and scored #TheMuppets for $5.#LearningHowToBlossom

Forced us to sign up for extras we didn’t want to and didn’t ask. Didn’t explain why they needed our address and never asked for email. Made us sign up for their “rewards” that you have to pay for after the first month. Then they made us choose 3 magazines for free for the first 2 months and then automatically charge us for it. We have to now go through each paper and unsubscribe from everything so we don’t get charged. We didn’t experience this last time so we’re honestly disappointed. The gal never explained anything as to why we were being signed up either, just how to unsubscribe..

Zero stars is not a rating but Id be glad to give them just that. Do not shop here and if you do just pay and walk away. Dont give them any personal information, not even your phone number. They sign you up with just that and when you try to cancel youll start getting junk email. STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN.

Awful. The discounts were not the same as they said. Ended up paying 17 bucks for 2 mini funko pop keychains. They also force you to give and email in order to buy stuff there, which they then spam. The stuff is cool but a bad business. Id your going to south center there are lots of other fun shops with more reasonable prices

Went to southcenter mall fye on Saturday 1/23/21. The cashier (Alex) was very rude and yelled at customer cause we get want to sign up for a VIP and Magazine. Alex was yelling at a employee name (May). Tell her to talk help my daughter and I. I saw Alex yelling at 2 kids cause their card did not work and made the feel bad and sad. Thanks for May for making the kids feel better and happy.

Got some great deals on their clearance racks. $40 sweatshirts were $6. My daughter thinks this place is fantastic. Sales people were very helpful. Store had variety of merchandise. Nice organization. Very clean.

Love this place! They have all the movies i grew up on and even the ones before i was born. Everyone there is so friendly and eager to help! Before you look on eBay check out FYE first, pretty sure you will find what your looking for!

Thought they had all closed down so I was surprised to find this one.Typical FYE, movies & games & all the usual items i.e. Funko etc.

Wish CD selection was still expansive. Memorabilia galore ! Fun just to look. T-shirts. DVD selection is good. Plenty of anime. Socks. Static models. Movie memo as well

I honestly went there for some Kpop albums, but ended up liking and enjoying a lot more than that. They have many movies, music, vinyls, and toys/stuff to buy. Prizes I believe are very reasonable. Oh! And you can take your good condition used movies and theyll accept them, though Im not completely sure how that works.

This store seems really cool. I just browsed it for a while, and it has a lot to offer. Good selection of boardgames and other pop culture items.

Cool store for all things nerdy, for those lightly interested to full on geeks alike. Very nice employees, helpful and informative. I was looking for the perfect Pop Vinyl figure and I couldnt find it anywhere, literally looking for a solid 10 minutes with my best friend waiting for me. And finally I went up to the counter and asked for help. The lady behind the counter gave me a hand in the search and I got the Treebeard Pop Vinyl figure from lord of the rings. Awesome store!

I liked the prices and or mark downs. I spent a good 1/2 hour trying hurry thru the place. The truth is ya cant hurry and leave. There is so much to see, to look at. From toys to t-shirts! The place was a little cluttered, a little messy, but as I looked around at the crowd of people looking and shopping! Adults and children excited to be there! I was excited to be there.

Ordered some Funko Pops from FYE Online .. Received them damaged ..I emailed them and never received a response.The box that it was packaged in had no damage but the Pop boxes had dents and tears .. So clearly was damaged not from shipment.

So many different options for one. My sister and I were able to find somewhat obscure albums and movies at affordable prices. Over the years, the variety has always made me want to return to fill out whatever artists collection im on at any given point.

FYE is fun to visit to try to get a cd you might not have, but this location was very cluttered and had product sprawled out on the floor. Hard to navigate around.

My issue with ALL stores is that they simply seem cluttered. Things are not grouped together and even the employees have a hard time locating items (if you can find an employee).

Went shopping for Christmas gifts here. Store was very maintained during the holidays. Prices were inexpensive.

If we could give Zero stars we would. My husband and I went into this store yesterday 2/16/2019. The Male employee was not friendly. The store was disgusting and dirty. Shelves on the floor and the product was just thrown in places, cant believe how bad this store looked. We DO NOT RECOMEND going to this store.

Most of the stock can be found in other places that are kept cleaner. The place seems understaffed and the staff that are there dont seem very friendly.

Be wary of signing up for the back stage pass or whatever it is called. Cashier never informed me that this is a monthly subscription. Seems very scammy of them to do something like that. Maybe to hit certain membership numbers? When I went in to cancel it the cashier looked like she was trying to hold back a smirk and told me that I had to call a number to cancel.Oh well, not gonna sweat a few charges on my card- but definitely wont be back either. Not a cool way to do business.

Found sum coo stuff

This place is good but the prices are kinda high even on super old cds. They have a machine where you can make your own cd which is cool so you can pick what songs you want.

Decent store but crazy experience the last time we went. A man came in beeping and the Male worker there told the man he could deactivate his stuff. It ended up in this 15 minute argument and it got really scary honestly. Security was never called. They were almost fist fighting. I had little kids there. We really needed to get something for a trip and they were in the area we needed to be. Definitely didnt feel the situation was handled correctly.

Quieter and lamer than HotTopic but essentially the same. They carry store specific Funko Pops.

Great place to find movies and CDs but dont be fooled by their backstage pass. I was told that I would receive a pamphlet in the mail after recieving my free magazines to be able to cancel the magazine subscription but the pamphlet never came to me (and its been about 4 months now) and now Im being charged for all these magazines (such as Cosmo and Better Homes and Gardens) and dont know how to get a refund since I did not subscribe to them via the magazines website and I have already cancelled my membership with FYE so I no longer have an account with them.

One word: Nostalgia. If you miss going to FYE or Sam Goody like you could in the 90s to look at music CDs and vinyl, look no further. They have those things (not a ton, but they have em) as well as DVDs, collectables, and cereal inspired by various geeky movies and shows.The employees were super helpful, even when my father was looking for a dvd of a show that is not on dvd (because its only on amazon video). They even figured out what show it was when my dad couldnt remember the full title.If someone from FYE is reading this, Im sorry he was literally asking the impossible of you. And that he kept asking how much the full sized wonder woman statue cost.
