This place is awesome! The staff were friendly, the establishment was clean, and the food was very good! Prices were not bad either, I would highly recommend a visit. The resultant was kinda of warm when we entered, but I believe this was due to the air being maintenance. Both take out and dine in are available. I would for sure recommend a visit.

I’ve passed by this place often, had a chance to try it. Ate inside, was the only patron in there. Got the chicken and scallops hibachi combo with fried rice, really enjoyed it. I was surprised by how large the portion was actually, since I was eating there everything was piping hot. This is personal preference but I’ve always liked my fried rice that go easy on the veggies, that’s how this was so points for that. Will definitely eat here again.

This place is one of my favorite places to eat now. The staff is super friendly and the place is squeaky clean. We were eating and one of the gentlemen that works there made my little nephew a hat made out of balloons and placed it on his head, little things like this makes a place stand out. I ordered the hibachi steak and it was cooked perfectly, the vegetables were so full of flavor they were some of the best Ive ever had and my rice was perfect. It is very reasonable also for the amount of food you get. Ill be eating here weekly.

My family and I love Saku Japan.Most of the time we used to eat asian food in Egg roll, but Saku Japan is way better then my expectations.The food is delicious, the stuff is friendly, the decoration is amazing, free wifi, Street fighter video game, and much more.I highly recommend this place.(Favorite dish so far is Udon noddles)I almost forgot, every time you get a delicious garlic sauce and ginger sauce.What are you waiting for?

Food is average. We had some ramens, the portions was good. Too much actually. In my humble opinion if you offer a smaller size for ramens and charge less (maybe $7) then it will be good. The staff was great.

Was looking to go to a hibachi restaurant where they cook in front of you. All places in Tulsa were booked, and what a blessing because it led us to this place! Although they dont cook in front of you, there is no lack in quality of food or service. And no wait line! We cannot wait to come back and bring more people to this unassuming yet wonderful restaurant.

The quality of their Hibachi Express offerings matches thar of other high end chains, such as Beni Hanas.I had the Filet Mingon / Scallop combo. Absolutely delicious. The only thing I would change would be to ask them to add a dollop of their garlic butter mix to the fried rice.My wife and I will definitely be returning in the near future.

The only hibachi place we eat at in Tulsa area is called Ichiban in Owasso. Unfortunately thats a 40 minute drive for us. After hearing a rumor that the same owners/family had a place in Tulsa, we came to test it out.$21 for all of this. It is INCREDIBLE, definitely as amazing as Ichiban, so fresh and SO affordable. I am so glad we found this gem!!

This was my first time at Saku Japan Hibachi Express. When I walked in the smell was amazing. And as I place my order the staff was extremely kind and the prices are extremely reasonable.The restaurant was neat, clean and free of clutter. I place my order and sat down to wait on my food. Although my wait was about 10 to 15 minutes, it was definitely well worth it. The food I received was hot fresh and of course made to order. I ordered the chicken fried rice and the vegetable fried rice. I definitely prefer it over a traditional Chinese fast food. Also, there was a sweet little cup of cream sauce that came with the food and it was also very delicious. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant the next time I have a craving for some delicious fried rice.

I got a miso ramen bowl with pork, cheese mushrooms, and wontons. This is the best ramen Ive tried in Tulsa. Fresh, cooked to perfection. The flavors just melted into each other. The cheese mushrooms were bursting with flavor. The wontons were amazingly crispy and the sweet and sour sauce is flawless. The ramen, man this ramen yall! The broth was so tasty, the soy eggs were delicious!, the fish cakes looked just like anime. The pork was fall-apart tender but still so crispy. Yum! I will definitely be coming back here. Their location is extremely convenient and their staff is top notch as well. 12/10 would eat ramen here again.

My fiance and I love this place! You get HUGE portions for what I think is a very reasonable price. My go to is the chicken hibachi, and he loves their ramen!Not only is the food outstanding, but the owner JoJo and all the staff are phenomenal & so friendly. My fiance will eat lunch here frequently as he works just right down the street, and JoJo has sat down with him for 30-45 minutes just to chat. He even made me an adorable balloon rose, and gave us complimentary Ramune!Thank you to JoJo and the staff for bringing a breath of fresh air to Tulsas restaurant market :)

Amazing food for a small place I found on accident

The food is fine but dang the customer service needs help. We came on a Tuesday lunch time and there was only us and one customer alrdy sitting with his food. The lady behind the counter was so rushing us as if there was a line behind us. And she could not hear a thing i was saying even after repeating loudly. It was very annoying. She kept yelling at us bc half the time she wasnt even paying attention to what we were saying. Urgh ruined our lunch.The place looked like it got hit by a tornado. Its so messy and dirty esp the bathroom. Its never busy during lunch. Thats alrdy a big hint.

Been here a few times and have always had a good experience. Food is Good and the serving size is great. Except this time I ordered a side of shrimp and was disappointed that I only got 5 small shrimp for $6.

I ordered the shrimp and scallop combo plate with fried rice. It was amazing, even the scallops were cooked extremely well. The interior has fun stuff to look at and entertain yourself. Hannah took great care of us at the counter.

My husband and I both got the chicken and shrimp combo hibachi. There was a ton of shrimp! My only complain would be I wish there was more broccoli. Regardless we will be returning!

One of my new favorite places. The owner is super friendly. The restaurant is super clean and slick. Portions are large and great price, the chicken teriyaki is only 7.99. I have not tried everything yet, but I have had over half the menu. Nothing. Not one thing have been bad. Ever! I really have to say this place gets a.12 out of 10

Tried this place out after it was recommended for being new. Not only are the prices fantastic, but the portion sizes are extremely generous. Food quality was excellent, even with the cheaper prices, and was pretty quick. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you like Japanese style Asian food, such as hibachi or ramen.

My wife and I have been waiting for one of these places to come to Tulsa. It is really good food. Although it does smell like they have a sewage leak. But you go nose blind to that after a few minutes.

Had the N.Y strip hibachi, spring rolls, and fried dumplings. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The dumplings were absolutely delicious and the spring rolls were crisp. The yummy yummy sauce was fantastic. It went great on the fried rice and the steak. 100% will be back. Cant wait to try the ramen!

The friendly, helpful staff were quick to take our orders and we were welcomed to stand by the glass and watch the food cook on the grill. When it arrived the portion size, quality of the meal provided, pleasant atmosphere, and balloon twisting gifts had everyone smiling.Our group tried several Hibachi options (Chicken, Steak, and Salmon) with noodles and fried rice. Everyone said the liked their meal, while the meats themselves could have a little extra flavor, dipping them in the provided sauces created a balance of flavor that we will be going back to experience again!All said and done 5.5 orders of food for our party of six ended up coming home in 4 take home boxes.

Hubby and I decided to do a late bday dinner here and were blown away at how delicious it was and for the price! I hope they never put one in Owasso or we will be broke all the time! Great little gem at 71st/Memorial!! Reasonable prices and a good amount of food! The food is great and freshly cooked. Have had the steak hibachi both times, and its so yummy. I tried the side of noodles the first time, and really enjoyed them. Today, I went with fried rice, which was also good! They threw in a complimentary eggroll today, and I recommend them. It was light, crispy, and fresh. Very nice staff too! Will be making this a regular place for me! Looking forward to trying the ramen on a future visit.

Good food and greater service, took my wife and a few friends there for my wifes birthday. We were all parents and of course brought our kids. Amazingly friendly service. The staff was awesome with the kids makes oir experience even better and the kids loved it!

Its was amazing the boys there seem to be owners or something more than just regular workers, they also seem to be straight from Japan and know well the food . Its was very tasty, a lot of food and super cheap (9.99 for scallops, noodles and shrimp with veggies )

Very disappointed. when I first came in I had a good impression of saku japan, but their menu was very unspecific and a bit confusing. after we received our meals, things just went downhill. the ramen broth tasted sweet instead of salty (it was titled salt broth), and there was practically no chicken in it (3 pieces) and the only thing I could bring myself to eat was a small side of salmon. my family shared my disgust, that is, expect for my little 9 year old sister. she chowed down on her rice and had a good portion of her ramen. we though everything was fine and went somewhere else to eat instead. weirdly, she said she had lost her appetite and passed on dessert. Later on, she kept getting sicker and started throwing up. she continued throwing up on and off again for another 30 minutes. will NEVER be going there again!

Been meaning to come here for awhile. I must say that I was really surprised. For the price and portion size I think it was worth every penny!

Update: went in for a quick bite with family around 8pm on 6/24/20. I dont know what happened, but the food does not taste the same as it did when this place first opened. This was the place where I fell in love with ramen, but after today, I want nothing to do with it! Broth had no flavor, meat (in my case, pork) taste very unpleasant. Soup was severed in a deep bowl and no soup spoons were available!l (spoons that get in Chinese restaurants for soup), only plastic tea spoons. How are you supposed to eat soup with a tea spoon? This was not the first time that Ive noticed difference in food quality (not only in soups, hibachi as well), but I didnt want to leave a negative review. However, after todays visit, I had to mention it. I hope the owner reads this: man, what happened!?!?! :(This is fairly new place, as it opened last month and we have been there a handful of times. Each time was a great experience with very polite staff, outstanding food and very reasonable pricing. The name of the place is Saku Japan express hibachi and no lie, food comes out very fast! Almost too fast to make you wander, if it will be any good... But dont think for a second that with how fast the food comes out, there is compromise in taste. Everything is steaming fresh off the hibachi grill! The only down side to this place, is that it is not very big inside, so it fills up very quick. We are definitely going back to try more things on the menu! See you guys soon!!!
