First, I have always loved Mazda. I have owned x2 Mazda3s and was impressed. So when my 70+-year-old mother was looking for a new car, I suggested getting a Mazda. She took my advice and was in love with the vehicle. Then she begins having issues with the sound system. Where she is no longer able to use the hands-free. If and when it did/does work, it goes in and out. Before the warranty going out and even after, she has pleaded with them to please look at the system. Each time she has been told that they could refer her to someone to look at the system. She has not done it because she does not trust this Mazda dealership. And her point is valid, why take it somewhere where they may or not know what is going on with the system? Just bad customer service from what she has told me. And that is her version of the story. SO, I decided to call to see what was going on exactly and to try and help clear any misunderstanding. I tried to call several times. Like most of the experiences I have read today on these reviews. They kept transferring me to the service department, which never answered. And eventually, I was disconnected each time. After several tries in frustration, I gave up.Well, she called me last night and told me that the dealership had lost its license? I asked her that does that mean? Did anyone contact you to say to you? I mean, how did you find out? It seems like the dealership would have notified and provided some options other than having my 70+-year-old parent, one with mild dementia, now have to travel over 100 miles to have their car serviced. I now feel stupid for advising to buy a Mazda. I live over 5.5 hours away. She is frustrated and has every right to be. Im still questioning how does a dealership lose its licensing? AND why did the Hyundai dealership have to inform her? THIS IS A MAJOR LETDOWN for this dealership. The lack of communication, as well as apathy and compassion for their buyers, is ridiculous. I received excellent service when I had Mazda and living in GA and AR. I mean top-notched. Good enough, I told my mama to get one! I would like to get this resolved as soon as possible, but have been told good luck!
I tried to call the service department multiple times. No one would answer the phone. Also, when I tried to call back and speak with someone else about getting a service appointment, no one would help. They kept transferring me to the service department which never answered. Instead, they continued to disconnect my call. I tried for almost two hours to get in contact with them to make an appointment. I will never do business with this dealership again if they cannot even have the decency to answer the phone.
Dont let the name or sign fool you, they are a Hyundai dealership not a Mazda dealership. We went to drive a Mazda and they didnt have any. However they said they had some in Jackson if we wanted to go there and try one. Not willing to drive 3 hours just to try a car! The salesman who helped us was very nice

My daughter drove from Oxford to Tupelo to have her CX-5 serviced. They didnt meet our expectations the last time we used their service department six months ago and I left a bad review. However, today they made up for it and they provided exceptional service. We will be back.
Completely disrespectful...was put on hood for 35 mins just to be hung up on...called back several times ...just to be met with someone who had a very bad attitude....both service desk employees were extremely rude and short ...didnt answer anybof my questions and basically told me good luck .....would not reccomend to anyone ever...worst customer service I have encountered in my life! Terrible

Supposed to be a mazda place but only one guy works on the cars lol what a joke. Setup up my appointment a month in advanced, to drive a hour to be told we cant do it ourselves.Update- rescheduled the appointment and was pushed out two weeks. Took another day off work to go. Confirmed my app two days before and drive the hour and 30 min drive and these people forgot to order the parts. Stay far away from there. What a mess. Mississippi folks stay in Tennessee. Also couldnt get a rental because I drive a mazda. But if I drove a Hyundai I could get one. First thing out of the dudes mouth was GD when I told him what I was there for.
There are no Mazda vehicles for sale or to test drive at this location. Sales person said they had cars in Jackson. Dont know if he was meaning TN or MS but I wasnt traveling to either. Memphis is closer than both. Seems a bit deceptive to have a Mazda sign and internet listing but no product.
Went to look and ended up buying a SUV great service and friendly staff. They took really good care of us on our new purchase will definitely go back.

They made my first time buying a car pretty good. Anthony was my salesman, and he didnt do a half bad job helping me out. They even worked with me on the financing side of things. Only problem was, the car had a roof rack on it, but when I purchased the car, they had removed the roof rack and misplaced it. However, they did offer to buy me a new one (if they couldnt find it) and put it on for free as part of the deal.

Yesterday my daughter drove from Oxford to this dealer for service at my instance to use the dealer rather than a quick oil change place. I paid the $75 for oil change and tire rotation, plus the cost of her fuel and her lunch. Today, she gets in her car and the low tire pressure light is on. Since her tires use nitrogen she cannot just go to any service station and get air. She took her car to Gateway Tire in Oxford and they told her every tire had 31 or less psi. That means that Barnes Crossing did not give a full service! What is the point of having my daughter make the drive from Oxford to Tupelo to use Mazda dealer there if they cannot even bother to check tire inflation. How can I trust that they even checked belts, hoses, etc.? I live 950 miles away and I count on our dealer to maintain her car to avoid her breaking down. I am p-ssed. How hard can it be to check the customers tires as part of the service that is supposed to be included.
I would highly suggest anyone that’s looking for a car or even slightly Interested in a car to go ask for EDWARD HALL!! Edward was such a pleasure to work with and never once tried any of those pushy salesman tactics that keep most people from car lots. There was no pressure and he was willing to help us even in horrible weather. He listened to all my needs and found the perfect car to meet them! I could not be anymore satisfied with my car buying experience and I owe it all to Edward! Hands down the easiest and less stressful car purchase I have ever had. I can’t even say enough good things about him! 5 star service!!

I came into the service department for tires, oil change and clean up and it turned out a battery. I was there for 4 1/2 hours and when I did leave, after a good bit of driving, I called back and told them that something was wrong. They drove it and put it back on a machine and had to rebalance it and I waited another hour. I have to say, everyone was very apologetic and even refunded me the cost of labor for the tires. The clean up on the car was a joke, they didn’t even wipe down the dash and the windshields were still filthy, don’t waste your money on that!
I bought my Mazda in 2007. I have come to Barnes Crossing Mazda for all my services. However, this will be my last time coming back there. I brought my car in on 4 different occasions for the same problem and every time it was the same thing!! More money for the very thing they were supposed to fix. Worse service department people I have dealt with. I was told Cody wasn’t in the service department and here he comes walking past me in the lobby. I ask to speak to a manager and there wasn’t one ever there!! Funny thing is, you lost my business of buying a new Mazda!!! With that kind of service just cause I have an older model Mazda is just sad so why would I buy another one. My daughter was about to buy one as well and that will also not happen. Thanks for not doing a good job.
Went in for an oil change & it was quick. The service rep went over the work completed & said my drivers side low beam light was out. Since it was Saturday they didn’t have the people to change it out. When I tried to make an appointment they said they would have to order the bulb & I would have to leave the car with them all day. This is unacceptable. I went to Auto Zone to pick up the bulb & they even offer to help change it. In & out in less than 45 minutes.

I purchased my Mazda CX-5 in 2015. I have been extremely pleased with my service and treatment until yesterday. I took Mazda in for maintenance and to have it washed/detailed. Tristan explained a suggested service to me. I happily agreed. I understand wash service is not a charge, but I could tell they weren’t happy having to clean harder. He was very polite but I feel I was aired off somewhat. Also paid $257 for service (which was fine), but refused to let me use $40 coupon offered by Barnes crossing because I had not printed it. Also requested help because my phone Bluetooth isn’t clear anymore. Kept asking about update on my iPhone. That issue was not addressed at service. As I said, he was very polite so not knocking him. I guess I’ve been spoiled previously.
