Imagine you need a new car that is more family friendly and your credit is low.You contact a dealership that is supposed to be known for helping individuals with low credit purchase a car. Instead of recommending options that are best for you they push that the in house financing options are far greater than the options of the local bank you use. You drive nearly an hour in attempts to work out a deal.You have a great income of roughly 4500 a month with very low debt to income ratio, but you have low credit.Not only does the creditor decline (not a big deal) and yes I was expecting a hit on my credit score (roughly 3 points)but I was never informed that my credit would be run 4 different times through different lending agencies and my trans union score drops 45 pts.I would have liked to know that my score would have more than a traditional hit. It could be years before I recover from this.Long story short.If you would like to hang out and shoot the bull this is the place to go.If you really want to buy a car? dont bother. they dont really want to sell anything from what I gather.

I called and spoke to Sam - my friend Henry limped his civic to the dealership - and Sam greeted him and took great care of him. The way House took care of Henry made me especially thankful for Honda and the quality of customer service offered by the dealership. Absolutely the most positive and honest dealership that I have ever dealt with in my 46 years! I ended up selling both my cars and rode Greyhound from Florida to pick up my new car at Dosette. After my experience here, I would do it again. No shake down, no quick of hand, no wait here for 4 hours so when we get you into the finance office you will sign even if the numbers have changed. After 15 hours on a greyhound bus, I was exhausted. What a relief that they had my car ready, had all the paperwork completed with the exact numbers that we had discussed. Better yet, the finance manager found a better rate than I had with my preapproved lender. My CPO Insight was perfect and Im thrilled to have it. I worried that I was at quite the disadvantage because I had to get the car to get home but they were exceptionally kind. And none of that crazy womanizing stuff either. What a relief!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! And will be contacting them again when it is time to replace my 3/4 ton truck!
I wanted to take a moment to tell everyone why we buy our cars from Dossett Big 4/House of Honda Tupelo and will always be lifelong customers.Yesterday, my two sons, aged 19 and 5, and I were in Memphis taking the youngest for a post operative eye doctor appointment. My oldest son came with me because I had major abdominal surgery two weeks ago myself. In a matter of minutes, my van went from driving well to being completely dead in an abandoned lot in Memphis, in an area we have never been in before. After getting my husband on the road to rescue us and talking with my father, I was on the phone with Mr. Bubba Franks at Honda in Tupelo. He ran a remote diagnostic on my van, confirming that it was not moving again until it was repaired. He didn’t want me to suffer the cost of having it towed to Tupelo. He asked for directions to my location and sent one of their service trucks out immediately to get my van and take it back to Tupelo. His initial concern was our safety and comfort. When my van arrived in Tupelo, Bubba called me so that I wouldn’t be concerned about where it was or if it had been damaged after my husband had rescued us.Upon hearing about our predicament, Mr. Rudy Dossett Sr. called me three different times while we were waiting for my husband to get to us. He was very concerned about my sons and my health due to our having just had surgery and it being so hot. He even “threatened” 😂 to come get us himself until he found out that my husband was already on his way. He also considered calling local police to come get us and take us somewhere cool to get some water while we waited for our ride. We were fine and declined his offer.I knew we were in good hands when I called them for help, but I feel like they even outdid themselves. They went above what was necessary to take care of us. I don’t know if any other dealerships would have been anywhere close to being as helpful, but I feel sure that no one else could ever have been any more helpful than Mr. Rudy and Bubba. They provide true concern, hospitality, and service that shows what exemplary men they are and what a top notch business they have.On a side note, in the past, we have also worked with Mr. Rudy Dossett Jr, Mr. James Petty, and Mr. Cody Hopkins when purchasing our Honda vehicles. Everyone was wonderful.I cannot praise Dossett Big 4 and House of Honda Tupelo staff highly enough. We will always be customers. Next time you’re in the market for a new vehicle, check them out. Worst Honda service Ive dealt with. Specifically Bubba. He was a complete butt. Zero customer service. An issue that they stated didnt exist on my vehicle and wasnt covered by Honda was repaired by Wolfchase Honda and covered under warranty.
Called this morning to schedule a maintenance appointment and as before, the service was excellent! They checked everything on my vehicle & even worked in the recall and we were out before lunch. We’re looking to replace hubby’s vehicle & will definitely try to buy another here. The service is terrific.
I came to Dossett Big 4/House of Honda curious of a certified 2018 Honda Accord Sport. The staff was shorthanded, but salesman Tim Rowland handled it like a champ. He gave excellent customer service, no pressure, and management was able to work with me on a great deal for the Accord. I was a loan officer for six years, so I came in extremely knowledgeable on the car buying process. I recommend Dossett Big 4/House of Honda and Tim Rowland for your local car buying needs. They do a really good job.
I put my car in the body shop about a month ago. They ended up ordering the wrong part, had to wait longer. Theyve been telling me it will be done by X date for several days now, and theyre still not done. Im pretty peeved. I understand it takes time, but I just dont like being told it will be done, and then its not over and over again. Im giving three stars because theyve always been really polite on the phone and in person.

Brought in my Civic Type R for warranty service. Due to a lack of available information on specifics for the rev-matching system, there was some confusion about whether it constituted a possible recall issue. Bubba Franks had spoken with me several times before bringing in the car describing what he knew about a recall, but that my VIN was not on the recall list. Regardless, they (Bubba and his staff) followed a thorough, conservative approach of detailed review of actual operations and diagnostic readings. They listened closely to all my inputs and answered all my questions. I am a satisfied customer.
They have a nice cars but you cannot rely on financing a lot if you are new in the country. But they have an employee named James and he is really an nice guy who is explaining the features of cars very nicely.
