House of Random is a really fun ice cream shop experience! Great place for kids, adults and families. The swings inside are an extra fun touch. The unique ice cream options are different than your typical ice cream shop. Unicorn Fluff is definitely a favorite with my daughters. What kid doesnt love cotton candy and ice cream in the same bowl!!

We went in after having dinner nearby and I am so glad we did. Their ice cream was so amazingly delicious. The flavors were very rich, and flavorful. The cookie dough ice cream tasted fresh and not too firm. The chocolate chips were the perfect size and gave a good crunch. The coffee milkshake was thick and had flecks of coffee beans, but wasnt bitter. The waffle cone tasted just like a waffle. It wasnt super crunchy like I was expecting but it paired well with the ice cream. The managers were super friendly and took the time to explain their ice cream making process. I highly recommend supporting this small business. This is a cool little ice cream shop and fun for the kids.

I didn’t think the ice cream would taste good because of the liquid nitrogen, but it was surprisingly good. Exactly what you would expect from an ice cream store. I got a scoop of ice cream inside a bowl of cotton candy, with chocolate and caramel drizzle, and sprinkles. I didn’t think chocolate and cotton candy would be good together, but they mixed surprisingly well.Also the bathrooms are clean and well-stocked with adequate paper towels, toilet paper, and febreze. The decor inside the store was nice, too.Some of the reviews complained about noise and wait times. The music was a bit on the louder side, but it wasn’t so loud that you’d have to shout to be heard. The wait was a little longer than most ice cream places, but that’s probably because of the liquid nitrogen. It’s easy to pass the time by watching them work with it.

My Fiance has been following this place for months in Instagram. Last night after dinner she was showing me pics of all the wonderful selections. At 9pm we decided to make a late night run from Modesto to Turlock in hopes of making it on time to try it out. Once we got there the staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The customer service is above and beyond, great job for whoever is doing the hiring. Now being that my Fiance is Middle Eastern (Assyrian), the Rose water Saffron flavors brought back some memories of her homemade childhood deserts. Great job and we will definitely be back for more.

Hydrogen ice cream is amazing. It is richer and creamer. Me and Gf ordered the Strawberry cheesecake. Mine was in a bubble waffle heres was in a cup. The bubble waffle is fresh and soft. I was able to cut it with my plastic spoon. The place is awesome!!

Great ice cream and concept. Ive tried similar concepts in the Bay Area and they were more efficient. 58 minute wait time for 1 ice cream. Ice cream tasted good, hence the one star review. Customer service was non existent and wait times were atrocious!!! Music was exceptionally loud as well, so you couldn’t hear when your name was called. Just opened, but seemed disorganized.

New to me but not new!! They have been here for almost a year. Their differentiation ( their Random) is the nitrogen cooled ice cream. Very ubique and fun looking decor and pretty attentive staff. Lets not forget their delicious and most excellent ice cream!!In addition to random ice cream flavors like Pina Colada and Sea Salted Caramel, they also sell traditional Persian ice creams like Akbar Mashti a unique pestachio emblazoned rose water infused ice cream; Haveej - carrots ice cream; Sheer Moz - milk and bananas and also Talebi - cantaloupe ice cream!!You cant really go wrong here. If you like cold stone, give this a try. Location is right behind the old Trax restaurant.

THE BEST! All around! Interior, staff, and treats! They just opened less than a week ago and it is already extremely busy! They make everything fresh! Always expect a little wait when you go in there because everything is fresh and they are already busy. But they have the friendliest staff and owners. I have already gone there twice within 3 days. I would say one of the coolest hang out spots in the 209!!!

For the reviewers who experienced long wait times, I truly believe that was simply because their first few days open were so busy. I went on a Wednesday night and it wasn’t too full or too empty. The employees are extremely sweet and are doing great. The swings and the lighting were great parts of an overall very satisfying experience. They unfortunately had run out of the s’mores ice cream, so fingers crossed I can try it next time!

The ice cream was Splendid! The customer service was Great also. ( We waited 30 minutes for our ice cream, but they told us before we ordered that they were working half staff, due to employee call ins, and that it was a 30-35 minutes wait.) It was worth the wait!!!! Well be back.

So theres three negative reviews in here at the time of posting, and they couldnt be further from the experience in having right now. No wait to order, and getting our ice cream was fast as well. I did notice a small hiccup in service to switch out a nitrogen tank, but really, how cool is that?? Great atmosphere, and well definitely be back again. Give it a shot! Im sure youll love it :)

House of Random has fantastic ice cream, great atmosphere for all ages, and a friendly staff. My friends and I chatted while our delicious ice cream was prepared. I highly recommend it.

The staff are all great and the ice cream is the best.My family and i drive from stockton to get our house or random fix.Thank you to your staff for having great service and also this place is very clean.The owners are very very nice people and you can just tell they care about there customers and that is what keeps us coming back.

They recently opened so I think they deserve to be cut a little slack (hence two starts instead of one), but an hour for a cup of mediocre ice cream is ludicrous. In addition the music was so loud that customers had difficulty ordering and hearing when their order was finally ready...but it did insure that no one feel asleep during the long wait. Hopefully their product, service, and atmosphere will improve but I dont see any reason to return.

Delicious and very unique.

The icecream concept is really neat and makes for a great texture, but the flavor isnt quite there. They clearly use torani syrups to flavor their cream base and leaves the flavor lacking. Coffee was more like coffee essence and strawberry would be so much better with an actual strawberry base versus flavored syrup.
