I have been visiting this location for years and this morning was another amazing experience that I can add to the previous ones! The facility is always clean and running smoothly and you see smiles on the faces of the workers and customers - and for good reason! SAINTS!! Ive rushed in town from DFW because my mom is in the hospital and BAM...now brand new tire is losing air! I got here 10min before they closed, I was in such a panic and literally had a meltdown on their bench outside scared I would be stranded. These guys were super helpful and nice. My low tire pressure sensor came on today and I checked it after work and it was 25. Uh oh. I got to discount tire about 5:55pm (completely unaware they closed at 6:00pm) they did not turn me away, roll their eyes or give me bad looks. With a smile on their faces they had me pull in a bay and took my tire off to check it. After not finding any leaks the first time they checked they came to my car and reported it to me. I apologized for the 57th time for making them stay late for basically nothing. He said (while smiling)they really do not mind at all. It would be a few more minutes because they were going to go through everything again to make sure that I was safe when I left. No leak was found, so they put my tire back on and filled it up again. They definitely made me feel like they genuinely cared about my safety above going home after a long Monday. Discount tire will forever get my and my families business! I highly recommend for all your tire needs. You will not be disappointed!!

Emergency purchase with no appointment. All I had to do is make a phone call get the pricing for the best tires and found the alternatives. Then went through finding if Rebates were applicable. The Associate was very professional and helpful with my purchase. Everything went smooth and fast, no problems. I will go back to this location in the future. Im a long time Discount customer that is new to this area. Im very happy with this Discount Tire location.

I had a horrible experience. I called looking for a set of 245/45R18 Continentals for my car. The salesman I spoke to sounded like he had a mouthful of marbles, mumbled and when I asked him to speak up he was just plain flat rude. This guy told me that these tires come with no factory warranty, thats what he said. However the Discount Tire website clearly states Packing all-season confidence, stellar steering response and longevity into a single package, these Continental Pro Contact tires are backed by up to a 65,000-mile limited warranty. As a result I spent over $1200.00 for 4 tires at the discount tire store located in Longview, TX. Got great service and the guys there actually seemed to appreciate my business! Not going back to Discount Tire in Tyler anytime soon. Thats for sure!

They got me in and out on a busy Saturday in about an hour. They originally charged me for the wrong size tires, but corrected the issue. I ended up with better tires for the same price. Will definitely keep doing business here.

My fiance and I visited Discount Tire and spoke to Thomas Williams. Mr. Williams ensured us that the vehicles sitting in their parking lot were drop offs so it should not be too long. My fiance purchased 2 new front tires and paid for services to have 1 of the old tires placed onto his spare rim at 947am. At this time Mr. Williams ensured my fiance we would be out by 11:00am as we had a schedule to keep. After watching all the vehicles that were sitting there get pulled into bays vehicle after vehicle, ya know those ones that were drop offs, I was fuming. My fiance did not want me to go into the building because he knew I wouldve have exploded. You do NOT tell me you can keep our schedule if you cannot do so!!! We will NEVER go back to any Discount Tire again. This is the 2nd bad instance weve had with them in the past 6 months. Mr. Williams came out at 10:55am to advise they ran into problems and we they were backed up but it shouldnt be too much longer. At 11:40 we pulled out of the bay with the 2 new tires on and the spare tire changed. Needless to say Discount Tire did NOT acquire my satisfaction and we will go to the local tire company from this point forward because all though they may not offer the same road hazard warranties or free repairs; they actually CARE about their customers because they know without us they wouldnt have a business. Discount Tire used to be that way until they turned into a money hungry corporation. Such a shame they choose greed over their customers satisfaction and happiness. 😡

Horrible customer service. I have purchased countless sets of tires from Discount tire in the past. They have always beat whatever low price i can find down the road. Now they wont do it. Said oh that place isnt local enough. So I found a closer place that was undeniably local and still could get me in a set of new tires for alot cheaper. They pulled my records and saw they have always price matched for me in the past and said there had been no policy change yet couldnt explain why they wouldnt price match now and they would then. After being short and curt with me they told me I would have to go to the other shop and get a printed quote to bring to them or they wouldnt honor it. Something Ive never once done in the past. The small mom and pop tire shop did not have any systems for generating a printed quote. Its a small business! Well they wont take a hand written quote from them either! You can look the tire shop up on Google and their number is in the phone book. It is a legitimate shop! But because they are a small shop they arent prepared to jump through the hoops Discount Tire now wants you to jump through to actually get a price match. After going back and forth with the store manager he finally told me small mom and pop stores that cant print me a quote dont qualify as a competitor. Shop local folks! They can beat Discount tires prices and help local folk over greedy corporations. When in spending my money at the local shop we will see if the Discount Tire store manager still thinks they arent competitors! Youve lost a LONG TIME customer FOR LIFE!

Brett Bowers helped me pick out the best tires for my 2017 Prius 3 C hybrid taking into account how many miles per year I drive for work and types of weather conditions I should be prepared for. He saw my veteran status on my Drivers license and applied the veteran discount that I did not even know they offered. I got 4 Yokohama tires for a decent price and they were on my car and ready to go in about an hour. I spoke with about 3 employees during my experience today and every one of them were professional and courteous. I could not have had a better experience in buying new tires for my car. I was very pleased. My tires came with a 60,000 mile warranty too. They will do a free tire rotation and inspection when I return at the 6,000 to 8,000 mile point. My husband I have been customers of other discount tire stores in the tyler area in the past and have never been displeased. We will return.

How to wait an hour to get our tire changed and that was ok. The hour went by fast.

Overall my new tire purchase went well - they were ordered and arrived when promised. They did their best to get my tires installed even though I had no appointment. However, I went to check my tire pressures today and discovered that the part of my rims where the valve stems are located are all galled up. All four rims, all in the same place, and all chewed up the same. Since these are the first new tires since I bought the truck, it had to have happened during the installation of the new tires and jamming the air chuck in even though it obviously did not fit. Very disappointing - I take exceptional care of my vehicles - unfortunately, the person involved in putting the tires on my rims and inflating them could care less. Thanks for the only damage on my 5 year old truck. Will be sure to let everyone I know how careless the installers are at this location.

Clean, organized, and personable. I was a walk in for a tire rotation during a high volume time, thus taking closer to an hour and a half as oppose to typical 45 minutes. Even though they were busy, they were working fast. I watched as one of the techs ran across the parking lot to get my car in the bay. Good people from this encounter. (I do wish the store had free WiFi so I could of worked on my computer, like Firestone does). Overall pleased.

All I can say is, That is complete BS, This location flat out fed me a bunch of BS, I ended up driving to Longview location where the customer service, Was the way it should have been. From now on, I will make the 1 hr. drive.. To avoid doing business with the Tyler location.

Out of town working and I got a nail in my tire. I really didnt have the money to patch the tire. Called this place up and they did it for free.When I arrived they said it would be about 2 hours because they had 14 people ahead of me. I couldnt complain since it was free. They had me out of there in an hour and 20 minutes. Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. Also they provided free waters on this scorching September day. 10 stars!!!

They did a great job of fixing a low tire on my truck, but I had to check a few times to check on my status in line, & overall had to wait what seemed an excessively long time before my truck was attended to.

Fabulous service on a Monday morning. I drove here with a flat and the wonderful, friendly and smiley gents here fixed it up. Good service ultimately fixes everything...especially a stressful Monday. PRO TIP: GET THE WARRANTY YALL. I had mine from Austin, and boy did my wallet love that. Plus there are so many Discount Tires across Texas. Do yourself a favor. Also, wifi is strong and there is plenty of parking. You cant miss this Discount Tire from the 323 Loop.

Bodie is GREAT and very helpful.. but that’s where the good stops. The other staff members are rude. I spent $400+ on new tires and they didn’t even bother to give me a call when my car was ready, I had to go up there and ask. And on top of that, my tire sensors magically stopped working after picking my car up, I had to ask them to fix it. I will not be visiting this location ever again.
