Always friendly and they always try to help you if they can; like when our truck broke down the guys that work there quickly jumped into action and helped get us out of the way so the other customers could conduct their business in a timely manner. They were not rude or judgemental about our situation instead helped us figure out the problem and fix it.Awesome place.

I have only had the opportunity to come here twice and that hasn’t been enough for me. The teamwork and customer service here is amazing. They were down to 1’s and the guy helping me checked his own wallet to try and help. The man operating the crane made sure my trailer didn’t get scratched and I didn’t even ask! This is the most helpful scrap yard in tyler tx. The staff are friendly and quick to help. Pay top dollar for scrap, and if a competitor is paying more they dont mind telling you, I dont know of any others that do that

I have heard more than one person complain that they didnt get paid what they should have.

TO THE OWNER OF MADFOS METALS: I come into Madfos Metals at least twice a month to bring scrap. In the last several months I have noticed there is only one employee who seems to run the entire company. I was there today 5/14/16 and what I saw was a man doing the job of three men, Not only was he working the office,the inside scale,the outside scale,he was also randomly jumping onto a bike to ride down to the field where the scrap is dumped to help people there as well. Not only are you under staffed you left this man (who I later learned his name is Roy) without the means to pay the customers who were coming in. He had two dollars in the till as of 11am when I arrived. Not only was there no money in the till he was down to the last three checks,there were two trucks ahead of us and we had two separate loads. Luckily it was my brother in law with the second load so we were able add up the itemized receipt and properly divide the money. You should be ever so grateful for having an employee like Roy who did the work of three or more men in the hour I was there. I am unaware of his rate of pay,but I am sure he is not properly compensated for the outstanding job he does for you people. Not only should he receive a raise, you should seriously consider hiring this man some help even if only on your busier days.One can only keep such a pace for so long before they burn out.Sincerly;Jenny AndersonP.S.
