** THEY TOOK MY NEW JEEP FOR 100 MILE JOYRIDE THROUGH OIL DIRT & SAND *** BEWARE > TAKE PICS OF YOUR VEHICLE & MILEAGE ***I took my new jeep (which my sister calls Black Beauty due to its immaculate condition) in for an oil change and checkup on Tuesday 6/29/21. Even washed my jeep prior to dropping it off for service so they would know to take extra care when servicing it. They looked busy so I told service advisor (James Farabee) that I wasnt in a huge hurry but needed the jeep by the weekend since it was 4th of July. Didnt receive any feedback until I called to check on the vehicle on Friday 7/2/21. Advised that I wanted to pick the jeep up & bring it back after the holiday weekend. Called again Saturday 7/3/21 and advised them to put the parts back on it so that I could pick it up & bring it back later. Picked jeep up & after returning home (7 miles away) noticed fender was scuffed, windshield & paint were chipped. Also noticed grease & dust spots all over the vehicle as well as underneath the fenders. Ran jeep through automatic (touch-less) wash to try to remove grease spots then went to dealership to notify reps. Was told to bring the jeep back Next week since service advisor was not working on Saturday. Went back home & began to do further inspection of vehicle - noticed that mileage was 100 miles over what was on the jeep when I dropped it off; Also noticed that fuel was @ 1/2 tank (was full when I dropped it off.) Went back to carwash to scrub vehicle & do a thorough cleaning where I noticed sand in the tray on the dash as well as dust & dirt in the rear door & window seals. Wiped most dirt off but left a small area untouched so that I could show the dealership. The following Monday 7/5/21, I went to refuel the vehicle & decided to check the engine compartment where I discovered what looked to be oil on the heat shield (mat type material on the top interior of hood) as well as all over the engine. Further noted that engine (which looked brand new when dropped off) was now dusty and dirty & had bugs, sand, leaves, etc all over it. At this point, I cancelled all holiday travel plans and went home and parked the vehicle out of frustration. The following Tuesday 7/6/21 I called to speak w/ Kirk Wallace (GM) and left a voicemail. Asked for Coy Powell on the second call and was told that he was off. After calming down more, I went to speak w/ Coy Powell on Thursday 7/8/21 and explained and showed him my findings but was interrupted and told that this is above my pay grade. and was referred to Christopher Sturm (General Sales Manager.) Chris was EXTREMELY NICE AND VERY UNDERSTANDING & stated that based on the current condition of the vehicle and my demeanor that he was confident that I kept it in IMMACULATE condition and was unsure of why oil was on the interior of the hood. Chris walked over to the service department behind me and handed me off to the service manager David Tremor. After going through the whole story and showing David the condition of the jeep he commented that we go rock climbing in our jeep all the time and this engine really isnt that dirty. After sensing my frustration he then asked what do you want me to do? I then said just change the oil & all of the filters again & have them wash the engine & make it look like it did when I dropped it off. Suddenly it was as if something snapped inside of him and he said Im not doing that! Youre just trying to get something for free! At this point I was SPEECHLESS...!!! He then began taking pictures of my vehicle & rudely dismissed any notion of wrongdoing on the part of his service team. Afterwards I called a local shop (Grease Monkey) & advised them that I wanted to retrieve the oil from my jeep. They simply asked me to go buy a container; Afterwards they drained & replaced my oil & I brought oil &+ filter home & stored it on my garage shelf. I then hired a private detective to document the whole incident by photo/video & notes. He then tried to speak w/ service dept but was turned away. IM STILL SPEECHLESS BUT MY PEN ISNT.
Service department was very quick to respond and actually seemed happy to assist. Its very obvious that customer service is their focus. THANK YOU Patterson!
Moving across the country from Colorado to Florida and my dodge ran transmission locked up near this dealership. I called and spoke to Joann in the service department and quickly got over to the dealership. We had multiple people jump up and help get us back on the road asap. Had a great experience with everyone at there location. Thanks again
Patterson of Tyler has the worst service department. I went in last week to the service manager to discuss an issue that last week my power train Warrenty covered but when the same problem occurred 1.5 years ago I was told by Patterson it wasn’t covered and paid 1000 dollars, of which 90% was labor, to Patterson. The managers response to me last week after I politely explained everything was that it was my problem and they weren’t accountable. I asked him to print out all my service records and I called the Warrenty company myself and after sending in the 2 invoices of the same repair and a few minutes on the phone they are sending me a full refund. I shared the same story and showed the same invoices to the Patterson service manager and the warrenty company. One listened and one looked for a way out.I have heard nothing but negative things about Patterson and deeply regret doing business with such a dishonest and discourteous company. Their maintenance department needs a serious change in leadership and personnel.
My wife’s cars rear brakes began having issues late on Friday and got considerable worse over the weekend. I called Patterson service department because I had a great experience previously. I was NOT disappointed again. Talked first to Joann who was very friendly and understanding and put me in touch with Lauren, who was also very friendly and professional, She told me to bring her car in even without an appointment. They gave my wife a shuttle home while repairs were being done. Her car was a Cadillac SUV so obviously they had to get the parts elsewhere, long story short, Lauren kept us informed, had the repairs completed in a few hours, picked my wife and gave us a 10% discount off the estimate she quoted me! Highly recommend Patterson Service, Joann and Lauren, job well done!
Horrible service. Took my truck in for service on CEL and an oil leak on my turbo, said it was “fine” after putting a USED “but working” part on. Didn’t even investigate my turbo leak. Just claimed it was my CCV. Week later CEL came back on. I realized they broke my air intake box. I go back and service rep claims to take pictures and says I’ll get back with you. A month goes by and I finally call. Literally get laughed at by the service manager, but he orders the part. It comes in and it’s wrong part.. my truck still isn’t fixed because they just want to replace parts after parts until it’s “diagnosed”. So now I’m most likely out several thousand dollars because they failed to investigate and properly diagnose. Would have been covered under warranty at time of first visit with them but now my warranty has expired. Oh that’s right, warranty claims don’t put money in their pockets.
I brought my car in for a diagnostic and recalls. They told me what needed to be done and I decided to go ahead a get my back brakes done since we had to wait for recal parts. After having my vehicle for 2 weeks I picked it up, drove it a few miles before I noticed my brakes were not working and the car was smoking. Turns out they forgot to put new brake pads on even though they took old ones off. They still charged me for service that they eventually fixed a week later, I sent an email to the man in charge and I am still waiting for someone to reach out to me about this incident that could have ca and others.. where is the quality control herself? Where is the management to address the customer and accept the liability? After requesting another mechanic to do the repairs why was the same one repairing what he damaged. Good lord DO NOT take your car here you might die from not having brakes you paid for possibly killing yourself or someone else!!
Absolutely, above and beyond service at Patterson and I didnt even buy my truck from them. That will change in the future. Ive been trying to get some recalls fixed on my truck for months. The dealership, that begins with a P, in Longview would never call me back. When I did get them on the phone, they wouldnt give me a loaner. Expected me to stay in the lobby all day. I asked Morgan (whos awesome!) about a loaner. She didnt have one but, got me a rental. The pan wouldnt and didnt do that. Ill bring my truck for future service and will shop there because, they have shown me, that customer service is still alive.
Very, very, very poor service. My jeep was going dead on me when I had made a complete stop at a light or stop sign. They kept my jeep for an entire week and supposedly fixed the an EGR valve and removed the transmission plan, value body, replaced the solenoid pack, and replaced the gasket. Even though, I never had any problems or leaks with my transmission. I picked up my jeep on a Monday, then on Friday of that same week, I noticed a BIG wet spot under my job. So, I took it back again to Patterson, now, they are telling me it was an oil leak. So, your team for an entire week did not notice that my jeep was leaking oil and again, this never happened until now....again I see where they have gasket. So was it fixed the first time or not. So I paid to get the oil leak fixed. I picked up my jeep again on Tuesday and now today Friday of the same week, my jeep is leaking something again!!!! What are they doing to my jeep?? I refuse to take it back to them, so who do I contact for an investigation? Do I file a claim with the city? Get an attorney? I know that they did not perform the correct repairs on my jeep and I am sure they are doing other people the same way.
1 star mainly for the atrocious reliability of the dodge brand. The location has went thru so many ownership changes it’s hard to keep up with but has never been overwhelming by any of the names. A vehicle shouldn’t have such major issues with only 90k miles. Will be my last dodge purchase without a doubt. I can’t say anything good about Patterson because of the facts that going by the conversation I had they obviously don’t care about having their customers return and the fact they hired a apathetic alcoholic as a finance manager in the past.
Kirk, Im not sure how a bad review for you guys got attached to my name a year ago. I want to publicly say that I have not heard anything negative at all regarding your company and would have no reason at all to give anything but five stars. Continue keeping customers happy in our business!!
Found a good deal on the online page, which had been on their website for at least a week. We drove over an hour to look at and most likely purchase. We left after being told they didnt have cars in that price range and we should just look at Facebook Marketplace. We left watching the salesman and either his manager or coworker definitely trash talking us.
I do not recommend Patterson to anyone! After having my car only a couple days I started noticing several different things wrong. First off it needed tires, the brakes something is wrong, it needs ball joints or something is going on in the front end, it shakes when I’m in reverse or park, the air conditioner makes a funny noise, and several other things. I called the service department after having the car about one month to see what they were willing to fix. He was very rude and told me I needed to find out what all my warranty covered and more than likely it wouldn’t cover it since it’s wear and tear even though I only had the car for a week before it started doing these things.
The service at Patterson has been second to none. Morgan & the service department were able to get me in within 48 hours and fix my car the same day!! Would 10/10 recommend to all of my friends.
Bought a New Ram 3500 from Brandon Hart, great experience and nice person to deal with. I’ve bought many vehicles in my time but this was one of the easiest hassle free experiences I’ve ever had! Great job and thanks for all your help. Great company to deal with!
I want to thank my salesman Josh E. He worked hard to get us top dollar for my trade and got us in the truck we wanted- Ram 1500. Excellent customer service, worked on our side to get the numbers right and we couldn’t be more grateful! If you are in the market for a new ride, please go to Patterson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and ask for Josh. He will work for you to get you in the vehicle of your dreams. We just got ours!!Thanks again Josh and to the Patterson crew!
If youre looking for a great sales person at Patterson Joshua Osorio is awesome! He helped me through what couldve been a stressful process but I was highly satisfied with his hard work and determination to get me exactly what I wanted! The whole process went so smoothly and quick. Im in love with my new jeep! Thanks Joshua.
Came up here needing a newer, bigger vehicle for my expecting wife and Cody Gibson set me up. Put me in a Santa Fe so I can get the best value for my low budget. I had some hard limits to meet but him and his team bent over backwards to reach them. My bank couldnt match it when I called so I returned to seal the deal. I felt valued as a customer and I didnt feel pressured into something I didnt like. Fantastic experience from Patterson!
Fantastic experience, from initial consult to delivery. Customer service from Cierra S. was great. Jordan Rs extended effort on all parts of the process was much appreciated. Driving 5hrs for that level of service was WELL worth it. Thanks again,
Fieat off, not a single mask in the whole place. That out of the way, my car is literally still under warranty, i have the paperwork, I havent gone over the mileage, transmission work is covered because obviously I didnt do anything to the transmission and I noticed it acting up like the day after I bought the car...but not the point. IT SHLULD HAVE BEEN COVERED. It was not for some reason i dont know because they wouldnt even let me talk to the guy who heads that department and handles it. Had to pay hundreds i do not have out of pocket for work that should have been covered by a warranty I PAID FOR. Not a factory warranty, one I PAID for. But they wouldnt listen and I had to get somewhere important and didnt have time to cause a scene, fortunately for them. The Lady at the desk was very friendly, idk though it seems like she could have helped a little more by calling the guy up there but WHATEVER
I bought one truck from patterson and warranty- they serviced truck for two years and twisted off drain plug and now having problems they are telling me need to replace oil pan and I need to pay for it BS thought old NeL McCoy and his friends were pretty good old boys NOT stay away
Had a great experience with Briton and Jordan. I sat down with Briton and created my DREAM Jeep! She delivered just that. Jordan help make the paperwork go so smooth and easy. They made sure I was happy with everything before I left. So excited! I highly recommend this dealership they are patient and wants to deliver the best to their customers!
Bought our 6.7 diesel 2500 4 door @Patterson Tyler. All Sales professional were courteous & accommodating. I’m sure there are all terrific, I had the pleasure of working with Josh. Man it was by far the most seamless transaction. He listened to what we needed to have in a Tradesman and flat out delivered!! No drama!! He underpromised and over delivered.I haven’t had my truck serviced there because we travel a ton. But I had questions when I need es LOF in the Round Rock area. These dudes @ RR Dodge were more typical of what you could expect. They told me I not only needed LOF, but the “manufacturer” recommends replacing both fuel filters every 10k! That didn’t make any sense at all. So I called Patterson and Tyler and I spoke with Tim in service! He assured me that that was not the case. Based on his experience you change out the right engine filter 15k and then the one upfront at 20 K. Save me a bunch of time and unnecessary maintainable. Love Patterson!
I have bought one used and two new vehicles from this dealership in the last year. From the greeting on the lot, to the assistance picking the perfect car, to the price negotiation and final car delivery, I have been extremely pleased with the customer service I have received. I’ve taken one of the cars back for scheduled service twice now and am happy to say the good service continues after the sale. My car has been serviced and returned to me in a timely manner and with a friendly attitude. This is a great dealership from top to bottom, I give them my highest recommendation. Special thanks to Dan Boston and Chris Sturm. Thanks again!
Top notch place to do business!
Customer service is the worst I have ever had to deal with That is no customer service was given at all I would not recommend this dealership to anyone
Worth driving a town over.
Keaton was so sweet and polite and got us a great deal on our new Jeep Wrangler ! No pressure. Very knowledgeable about the product. Taking good care of us post sale as well. Highly recommend. Jordan was very nice and polite and helpful as well during the finance part. Thanks to both of you for making it a pleasurable experience buying a new car !Linda and Steve
Excellent customer service, short wait times. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. No complaints!
I called and the lady answered “hello.” I had to confirm I was calling Patterson. I shared why I needed to talk to a service technician and she transferred me to the body shop. The gentleman in the body shop transferred me to a lady in the service department. I left my name, cell phone number and why I was calling. That was early last week. This call was to calibrate my Jeep speedometer and discuss buying another Jeep with a sales person while I was waiting. Still waiting for a return phone call. Looks like like I need to find another Jeep dealer!
Shout out to Wendy who made communication so easy, Donny for helping me find the impossible deal, and Tanner for putting up with my cheesy jokes and in selling me the car. I got a great memorial day sale, lowered my payments, and got a car without a dumb volume button on the console between the chairs so i dont have to worry about blasting people eardrums out when i move my purse now. And its not red.AND THEY OFFERED ME A WATER UPON ARRIVLEANNNNDDDD was NOT there Allllll day. Maybe 3hrs max.
Hate the slick salespeople. Shop online, make the deal, go take delivery. Free lifetime powertrain warranty. Willing to buy there
It all started when I pulled onto the lot and saw exactly what I wanted in a vehicle. Rich Luft was a great sales associate and answered all questions we had. Jordan Ray helped finalize the deal. Jordan was very personable and friendly and we will definitely do business with Patterson of Tyler again. Thank you!
I have to let everyone thinking about buying a vehicle from these folks to go somewhere else. I bought a used truck from them a year and a half ago. While negotiating the deal with the sales folks and the gentleman writing up all of the paperwork and financing I mentioned that I wanted the tires replaced because they were original. I was told that they couldnt do that because the tires had a certain amount of tread on them and couldnt be replaced. When I said I was going to leave I was quickly assured that when the time came I wanted to replace the tires I would get 50% off a set from Patterson. I thought that was fair and asked for it to be in writing. I was assured I would get it with my paperwork when the car was delivered to me. When Jalen Rattler my salesman delivered the truck no agreement on the tires. I asked for it and was assured that the manager that promised me the tire deal would mail them to me with my tags. I bought Mr. Rattler and his girlfriend dinner at my restaurant to be nice for his time to deliver my truck and take such great care of me, boy was I wrong. Well I was called to come in and get my tags which i think is weird, never had to do that any time I ever bought a car, no paperwork on the tires. Again asked for the paperwork and was assured that I would receive them after the lady left a message for the gentleman in charge of the deal. Well shame on me, life got away from me. Now that I have contacted Mr. Rattler about the tires a sudden case of amnesia has taken place and the manager that did all of my paperwork is no longer working for Patterson. I am now being told that they only honor these offers for 30 days after the sale ( never told to me) and my offer must be on some owe form which it is not according to Mr Rattler. Now I am being told sorry nothing we can do via TEXT not a phone call. You dont text a customer that is un happy you try to work things out via phone. Its sales deception when you do not honor your agreements . I am not asking for a free set of tires just what was promised to me but I guess its not worth keeping a customer or getting one less bad review. When I called the sales manager I was sent to voice mail. I will go out of my way to NEVER buy another vehicle from these folks and to tell anyone looking for a vehicle to go elsewhere.Response to Mr Wallace:Mr Wallace while I appreciate your response I would sincerely have liked for you to read my review entirely. My agreement with Patterson was not for a free set of tires it was for 50% off a new set when I wanted to get them. I stated this in my review. A sales manager did call me back and after I explained what had happened he said he would have the manager that he said was out sick call me. He did not. Mr. Rattler my salesman called me this morning and told me that his new sales manager agreed to splitting the cost with me for a new set of tires. I ordered the tires with Chris (super nice guy) for install next Friday. By the way I ordered the least expensive road tire offered and did not take advantage of my agreement with Patterson. As to your comment about the 1 1/2 year driving and that a new set was obviously not needed my response is 1.) I drive 5 miles to work each day and for the past 6 months due to Covid I haven’t even done that. 2) my agreement at purchase with Patterson was to replace my tires at 50% off when I needed them. No sidebar exemptions. I’m glad after multiple phone calls that y’all are honoring your agreement.
Had a great truck buying experience. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful.
We had an incredible experience at Patterson! From the sales team to finance department, each member of their team were so easy to work with. We will be back for sure!
Worst ever, had to walk out of their finance office. Negotiated a deal, went into finance, and not only was the agreed to sales price overstated, but multiple fees were added, even after I told the salesman from the start that I wasn’t paying anymore add-ons to the price I negotiated. My calls to the finance guy and salesman afterwards were never returned. The worst part is that I trade every year, and used to be a repeat customer. Buyer beware.
I am writing this to send a message to Patterson and to try to save another customer the hassle we went through. They have a black 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara advertised on their website today. Its the same vehicle we drove 1900 miles to purchase last month from their sister lot Patterson Volkswagon and walked away from after it was not what it was advertised to be. It was advertised to have a back up camera, be a non smoking one owner vehicle, and have a Moab package addition, all at the advertised price. When we arrived, we found the vehicle reeked of cigarette smoke, had not one but two owners per the Carfax, did NOT have a backup camera nor any of the Moab edition trim. The final straw was when they told us the price was actually HIGHER than advertised AND confirmed before we arrived and would not budge to make any of this right. They just expected us to pay more than they said it was...for a vehicle that had less than what it was supposed to have. No way. We walked out after hours of trying to negotiate ANY consideration after the time and expense of driving so far. When I saw the ad today, still full of all of the same false advertising I just had to say something to give a heads up to anyone else looking at that vehicle...or any other...since truth in advertising doesnt seem to be important to Patterson.
These guys are the best, hands down. I recently bought a vehicle, and couldn’t be happier. The staff was fantastic, and made the very nerve racking process nice and easy. Big shout out to our sales associate Jeremy Johnson, he went above and beyond to help us find the truck we wanted, at a price that fit our budget. Thanks, Bud. In fact, the entire staff was accommodating. We were treated great, and got a great and fair deal. I definitely recommend these guys. They will treat you right, and give you a fair deal.
This is my second post regarding the service department. I have had service work done four times now and I am impressed. I have dealt with the same service writer and each time they have got my vehicle in to the shop fast, provided good estimates and stuck to them or come in under and got the work done on time or quicker. I am a very particular customer when it comes to my vehicles and have to say this is five stars out of five in my book. Thanks Tim and the service team.
I love doing business with Patterson the staff there was very nice and Mr Johnson is such a good person very friendly and helpful he has sold me 2 vehicles and I am still enjoying my Lincoln that I purchased over a year ago and when I get ready to buy a new one I will be going back to Patterson.
It was great love my new Mini Coop
Nice selection of vehicles, nice staff who are helpful and informative.
Had no intention of buying a vehicle, was dropping off another vehicle for service. Randy greeted us as we inquired about a truck. He was very professional and showed me a truck for what I was looking for. Great job. Jordan in finance made the Experience very simple and made me feel comfortable with the purchase. Definitely will recommend Patterson Dodge.
Keaton went above and beyond to get us the vehicle we wanted and then some. He exceeded our expectations. He worked with us really good and was very courteous and helpful the entire process. He is still checking in to ensure all our needs are met. Will absolutely recommend him to any and all our friends who are interested in buying a vehicle.
Jeremy Johnson was so helpful to my family and I buying our new truck. We went in to get a used truck for my father but ended up getting a great deal on a new truck. Jeremy was very helpful and patient with us. He helped us decide on the best thing for us. I appreciate Patterson and will be telling everyone to ask for Jeremy Johnson
Jeremy Johnson was an outstanding Help!!! He didn’t rest until I found my exact truck that I wanted at my desired price !!! I recommend him to anyone who is in the market for a new vehicle
First time car buyers, but with this staffs amazing help my husband found the perfect car! Jordan Ray helped us get the best deal, and even worked with us on a specific payment plan. If we ever need another vechicle, we are coming back to Pattersons in Tyler for sure!
Firewall 5s! Went in for recall work, requested steering wheel be straighten if possible. They said it would be additional fee, but when I picked up my truck, steering wheel fixed at no additional charge. Pleasantly surprised!! Recommend to all!
Morgan (Service Advisor) was great! She was very friendly and helpful. My salesperson, Brit, made the buying experience very pleasurable and fun! I am highly pleased with this dealership! 5 stars!!!
Keaton really hooked me up and found a truck on very short notice and went the extra mile on making sure that I got it. Great salesman. Great team. Overall very pleased with my experience with Keaton and Patterson of Tyler
Only visited the parts department, but based on the service and attention I received, these guys deserve the 5 star ranking. Parts guy went way beyond my expectations trying to find a part for a classic car. Im sure the sales people would reflect the same customer appreciation, and I will definitely check with them when it comes time for a new car. Well done Patterson.
These guys got me into EXACTLY what I wanted within 2 hours of walking through the door! This has been the best buying experience Ive had! Thank you Joshua and Jordan for everything!
Every single person we worked with was wonderful!! Keaton was great in helping work out the deal over the phone! And Jordan in finance didn’t stop until we got the best rate for my car! Highly recommend using these guys for your next purchase, you won’t be disappointed!!!
THIS IS AN AWESOME DEALERSHIP... with great employees. If you are in the market for a car go see Taylor Garrett at Patterson Dodge in Tyler. He is an awesome gentleman and will do everything in his power to get you a great deal. Taylor was able to get me into the vehicle I wanted and he also helped my sister with a vehicle purchase. Go check them out for yourself you will be amazed. Love these guys.
This is absolutely the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Brandon Hart was both attentive and knowledgeable without any car salesman “push”. Certainly can’t go wrong here...
Keaton from Dodge Patterson did a really great job going over and explaining my features in my new 2019 Ram Classic! Will definitely go back for future purchases, as well as service. AJ was my salesman, and did a fantastic job as well. I highly recommend anyone to go to Patterson, everyone is top there. Thank you guys!
I wanted to thank Brandon Hart for an excellent job.He went above and beyond to find the vehicle I wanted. He was determined to find exactly what I would be happy with.
If you’re looking for a new vehicle go see Collin Wilson at Patterson Dodge in Tyler, TX! I told him exactly what I wanted and he made sure his job wasn’t done until he found me exactly what I asked for! I absolutely love my Toyota 4 runner!! I highly recommend him to anyone & everyone! He’s the best in the business!
We bought two used vehicles from Patterson in Tyler in the same month. The sale was easy and not hassle or hidden fees. For the first time ever though I went with the extended warranties even though both had factory warranties and Patterson lifetime warranty. The truck we bought was a HD Ram 3500 that we turned into our transportation businesses. The first time we pulled a trailer with it the rear end went out. It has now back in the shop for a 3rd time in ³ months and has cost us thousands in lost revenue, rental cars and hotels while the truck was broke down and being repaired. Patterson told us their warranty we paid for and the free life time doesnt mean anything at this time. We just have to keep bringing it back when it breaks down and see what the factory warranty will pay for. Their warranty is a scam that does not repair the vehicle or give you any extra protection. We bought a lemon from them and they are doing nothing about it as we go broke unable to make money with a broke down truck.
Made an appointment to replace a specific shift cable for my vehicle. I show up and wait 40 minutes for the clerk to tell me that they won’t have the part for months. I was charged $144 for nothing.
Auto Nation in Tyler TX is an excellent dealership! Tanner Wilson is so helpful and never went into pushy car salesman. The cool thing was that Tanner pulled up all the inventory for Auto Nation and found 3 vehicles for me to choose from. Got my loaded Sienna van delivered in one day and love it! Its like brand new. The finance man was great as well. Never pushy. Auto Nation will be my go-to car dealership from now on. I was not paid for this review.
Dave Tremor & Morgan in the service department are a joy... They were very helpful & extremely nice!!! My car had a new engine installed and it went very smoothly... Thank you...
I was looking for a new car and my cousin had just talked to me about how smooth the buying experience was at Patterson. I came down one Saturday and was able to find what I wanted. Jeremy Johnson was so helpful and was very knowledgeable on the cars. I will recommend him to anyone looking for a car.
Bought my first new Jeep Cherokee yesterday and Cody Gibson was my salesman. He was awesome! It being my first time purchasing a car I was really nervous but he was really friendly and down to earth and him and his staff made the whole process easy and seamless for me. I really felt great driving off that lot and will definitely be recommending friends and family to them.
Called to ask about a service related question and they went out of their way to answer an specific question. Quick and professional.
Just bought a Wrangler from Tanner Wilson and had a wonderful experience! Great group of people. No sales pressure, but they worked hard to make me a good deal. I highly recommend them!
I just had the best, easiest, most painless experience buying a vehicle at Patterson!! Collin Wilson, my salesman, was the best salesman that I have ever dealt with.. He is on your side and makes sure that you get EXACTLY what you want at the BEST price possible.. No games, No run-around, No attitude.. Collin is all business with a personality plus!! Go check out Patterson and see Collin! You won’t regret it!!
Five Stars for Keaton Kilgore at Patterson In Tyler for our new Jeep! He literally went the extra mile to get the exact rig we wanted brought to Tyler all the way from Austin. He gets all the review words: Nice, helpful, hard-working, courteous, and we will definitely recommend him with a 5 Star rating for our overall experience. Thanks Keaton!
Collin made my experience really great & helped me get into a wonderful truck. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a vehicle! He made the process really quick and easy & he continued his great service even after we left the dealership.
No words can express how impressed I am with this dealership. I’m originally from a college town and it was nice to finally work with a dealership who didn’t bs me the entire time. I went in with the intent to see how much they would offer me for my trade. When that number came back higher than I thought, I decided to see what they could do for me and with 10 minutes Jimmie came out of his managers office with an approval. Jimmie is a great salesman and it was such a pleasure to work with him on our truck deal. Thanks to everyone at Patterson for the amazing customer service and giving us one heck of a deal!!
My daughter bought her first vehicle today from Collin Wilson at Patterson in Tyler. I have to say, he did a fantastic job of finding the right car and having everything ready when we got there. Very polite and professional. Thank you Collin for making it easy!!
After seeing all of the negative reviews, I was worried to bring my car to Patterson today. But James Farabee made it a great experience. It took exactly how long he said it would and he kept me informed on the progress as I waited. He also advised me I didn’t need to replace some items instead of just replacing and adding to the cost. I highly recommend you ask for him when you go there.
I reached out to Collin Wilson about a Jeep he had posted on Facebook. He was very responsive to my needs so I went and met him in person. I was highly impressed on how knowledgeable and professional he was to my husband and me. He made us feel welcome from the start and he aimed to please. I’ll just say I bought the Jeep of my dreams when I didn’t think it was possible. He made the car buying process easy, painless, and very enjoyable. I highly recommend buying a vehicle from Collin. We also made a friend out of the deal. 😁
I got a notice that my vehicle had a recall on it and needed to be fixed. I was told that the parts were not in stock but would be by Friday (this was a Wednesday). I was told they would call me when the parts arrived. Almost three weeks later I called back because I still hadnt heard from them. I was told they werent sure if they were in. So I called back yet again and was told they were in. I asked how long it would take to have all the problems fixed and was told an hour and a half. I went in and while they did indeed fix the recall problems it actually took over three hours AND some wires were left pulled out from under the dash on the drivers side and hanging on the gas pedal (not safe by any means). I was not happy with the service I received.(Update)When I received my vehicle after getting the recalls fixed I found that my a/c was not working properly, so I called and talked to the service tech who handled my recalls. He said to bring it in and they would look at it but seemed annoyed at my complaint. When I took it in he went out and started my vehicle then turned it off and said it was fine but they could sell me a service to improve it if I wanted.I then contacted the general manager who reached out to me because of my previous review and explained the situation from the beginning. He said he would look into it and call me back in a day or two. After going nearly a month without hearing back I contacted him again. He said he had passed it along to his service manager (who never bothered to get in touch with me).The service manager then called me later that day and said to bring my truck in first thing the next morning so they could take care of everything. I dropped it off like asked as soon as they opened and was told they would let me know something as soon as possible. It then took three days of me calling and leaving repeated voice mails asking for someone to call me back before a service tech told me that they hadnt even looked at it yet. After leaving more messages for the service manager to call me back (which he never could be bothered to do). I finally found out that my vehicle was being looked at. By late afternoon that day and not hearing back even after leaving more messages asking for an update my wife and I decided to just stop by.After almost thirty minutes of waiting they decided to tell me that they could fix what was in fact wrong with the a/c but that I would have to pay for it even though they were to blame for now broken part. I said I wouldnt pay for their mistake and decided to leave, but upon getting into my truck I found out that they had made the problem far worse than it was the second time I brought it in. I went back inside and asked for the service manager. They wanted to say that they werent anywhere near it even though the wires that had been disturbed and hanging out were beside the part. After pointing this out they tried to put the blame on me because of after market wires that were in the dash (which I had no idea about, and they couldnt tell me what kind of wires they were or what they were for (keep in mind my truck is very basic with factory stereo and speakers and doesnt even have power windows or locks)).When I told them I wanted to speak with the general manager who said they would completely take care of the problem, he then wanted to tell me that they would take care of the nearly thousand dollar labor cost (which after talking to several other mechanics in the area I found out that the labor cost on that at most should be under two hundred) but that I had to buy the inexpensive part which they said would be around three hundred dollars. When I refused the offer and asked to just have my truck back to the way it was when I first brought it in, they then decided that they would sell me the part at cost (which was still almost double what it would be through another area mechanic). Do not go here, they do not care about the customers, have poor communication, and will not take responsibility for their screw ups.
Went early in the morning to avoid tons of waiting and cars but as I arrived tons of other people had the same idea. Were about 15 cars there. But honestly somehow they got to everyone quickly telling them estimated time it would take. And very sweet. Ended up taking shorter than what they said. Thats always great. For as busy as it was I appreciated their time. Also had someone that would take you somewhere if you didnt want to wait.
The guys were awesome, did everything by phone delivered to my driveway. Absolutely professional. Couldnt be happier!
I usually hate going to dealerships but when I went to visit Patterson my view changed. Jeremy Johnson made the visit very pleasant. He was very helpful and knowledgeable on the cars at the lot. I will recommend him to anyone who needs a car.
Very easy buying experience, great attention to detail and customer service. My salesman was Juan Servant I believe that was his name, hope I got that right lol. Very friendly and seems to enjoy his job and making your buying experience quick and easy. I was in and out in about 3.5hours which is excellent to me. Auto nation in Tyler, TX. has a great selection of certified new and used cars, at prices you will love. I recommend anyone to check them out for your next buying experience.
Take way too long. Generally give you the run around on warranty work. I was hoping that the change in owners would help. Called them today about an oil change. The said that they were completely empty, no customers. Show up 15 min later and the actual service guy said they had been full up all day. Would be atleast 2 hours to change the oil. Last time I visited they said my (gas) truck would be done fairly quickly. It took over 3 hours for an oil change.
Can’t say enough! Colin Wilson helped us get into a new Jeep when I didn’t think we would be able to. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He is a genuinely nice and caring person, and we are glad to call him a friend. I will continue to recommend him over and over!!! He definitely gave us the Patterson Experience. Thank you!!!
My salesman, Brandon Hart, was an absolute pleasure to work with!! By FAR, the BEST experience I have ever had buying a car!! Thank you so so much!
Got the out the door price upfront with no run arounds or hidden fees, jimmy was my salesmen he was honest and not pushy the whole process was very smooth. If I buy another vehicle it will be from here! Well worth the drive from conroe!
I highly recommend anyone looking to buy from Patterson Tyler ask for Cody Gibson. He made the whole car buying experience a breeze from start to finish! I bought my wife a Jeep Wrangler from him a month ago and was so empressed by his service I went back and bought a Dodge Ram 2500. It was completely hassle free and Cody got me in the exact truck I wanted for the price I wanted.
Collin Wilson was great with helping me find the perfect truck. Great experience at this car lot and great people working there. Very helpful and easy to deal with. Love my truck. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thanks for all of your help.
I highly recommend Jeremy Johnson to be your salesman, very knowledgeable about the product and easy to work with. This is the man you want to talk to if youre in the market for a new car!
I was approached by Joshua Van Deman yesterday while looking at a specific truck we wanted to purchase. I have to say he was the absolute best salesman we could of had. We have had horrible experience in the past from dealership salesman and this included the same place Joshua works at. We told Joshua how much we appreciated his time and just visiting with us. Made us feel he was genuine wanting to help us and to even make the time enjoyable. I will say to my friends, famIly, or random person looking to purchase any vehicle or just looking to ask for Joshua. I will in the future go see Joshua for any new purchase on vehicle and deal with just him. Thank you again Joshua we truly appreciate your time and pleasure of getting you as our salesman.
The salesperson, James was very helpful and courteous. I hadnt planned on delivery the same day, but he was very helpful in getting it delivered. I was able to test drive it while I made the errands that I had planned for my trip to Tyler. After driving it, I liked it and made the purchase. It was a good car buying experience.--Posted as a service per authority of the business, review written by customer.
We purchased a new car from Patterson last month. Blake was our salesman. He was so very helpful and knowledgeable. He made the process extremely easy and quick. We highly recommend Blake when buying a car from Patterson! And by the way, we love our new Hyundai.
I came In over the weekend late Saturday evening and walked through the parking lot. I ran into Brit Grove super nice lady she was closing up on a deal she had made and the place was closed but, she took the time to talk with me! She apologized about the store ours and ask me to return on Monday I told her I would and we parted ways! Later that evening I got a text message from her with her Buisness information kinda like a Buisness card I thought man I can’t believe she sent me that! I told her I would see her on Monday and I hoped she enjoyed her day off!Monday morning around 9 o’clock she texted me and told me that she was pulling a truck I was interested in up to the front of the store and she then sent me all kinds of photos of the truck I mean it really got me excited 😆 I thought to my self this lady must really love seeing smiling faces and happy customers I came In to the place at 10 o’clock that morning and she made me feel like I was the only person there and I got the greatest attiontion! I just want to say that this lady right here goes above and beyond and I made a new friend and partner in the car buying exsperance thank you Brit!!!!Your friend,Buddy Pringle
We found ourselves in need of a car after my the motor in my husband’s Jeep Wrangler went out. Joshua Van Demean was our salesman and he was awesome! He got a fair trade in price on our Jeep. Didn’t try to push us in a certain direction when it came to looking for a car (ie new car, more expensive). He let us decide what was best for us and made the whole process of buying our car super easy and quick!!!! We will definitely be going to see him again when it’s time to buy a new Jeep!
Went in yesterday with a hard deal on my trade in that I didn’t think anyone could do much with. Guys here worked hard and made something work for me with nothing down and got me into a very nice, brand new Jeep Cherokee Latitude. I was impressed that they could work the deal to my satisfaction. I honestly thought I would be driving away in the vehicle I came in. I love the lifetime power train warranty. Great job guys. You have my return business for now. We will see how service goes in the future
Cody Gibson and the complete staff there are absolutely amazing! Very professional! It was a very fun, relaxing and enjoyable experience! I would highly recommend checking them out for your next vehicle! Cody worked very hard on getting me the Jeep Wrangler I wanted! He made sure I left with exactly the price and vehicle we wanted! Go check them out!
Joshua Osorio is amazing! Very helpful especially since I didn’t know where I was going - parts department. Took me where I needed to go. Next time I’m looking to purchase a vehicle, Joshua will be by sales guy.
My experience at Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was great! During my visit at the dealership I was assisted by Shawn Anderson. He was very patient as well as very knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased. Upfront on what he could do and not do. Shawn was not like the average sale person playing the cat and mouse game and I really appreciate him for that. My finance person Mitch was just as great. I received top notch service from the beginning and the end. Great job!
I bought my 2015 Ram there almost 2 years ago and had a great experience with no pressurefr9m the sales team. I cant wait to get my very first brand new Ram truck from there soon also. Thank you
Bought my first car with Patterson and they made the whole process easy and explainable! Walked away with my dream car — Jeep Wrangler. Joshua Osorio took care of us and answered every question we had. Great experience and great service.
I took advantage of the $5,000 over the fair KBB value on my trade just three weeks ago. I was in a financial bind with my previous car and Josh Oaorio helped me find the perfect Jeep for my lifestyle and preference and got me out from an upside down car statement. I realized buying a vehicle doesn’t have to be stressful and can actually be fun. Josh still reaches out to me to make sure I am happy with my purchase. The operation at this place is great and have definitely found where I will spend my money when it’s time to purchase a vehicle.
