My wife and I had a delivery here today. As every trucker knows, deliverys to a busy location like this can be a nightmare. Not so here. They were friendly and efficient. We got there about 90 minutes early. They didnt turn us away as some places would do. They found us a door and started unloading right away. We were done just after our original appointment time. My only suggestion is that they update their signs on where the proper street entrance is. The one that appears to be the obvious entrance is not. The guard at that gate will turn you around without even asking why you are there and direct you to another gate on a side street. Also this didnt make any sense to me. After we made a u turn in the facility and went back on the street, we had to go down the street, make another I turn, go to the light and make a left to access the other gate. Once we were in there was were directed to go around the building, drive right over the ground we made the u turn on and docked not 100 feet from the original gate we were turned away from. While there, I saw no less than 5 trucks have to make the same maneuver. I dont know what the first gate is for but some adjustments need to be made. Now that I know which gate to go in, I will be happy to deliver here again.

Treat them nice and they will treat you nice. Finding an empty is tricky.

I read the reviews and had a great experience in and out bol 2.5 hrs, 0400 appt. Ck in 0330.

First time was quick Im not even sure if appt is even needed but, I was in an out within couple hours😁😴😴😁😉😅

Guard shack very welcoming, but lumper service terrible service! wont even look at you, great you or anything, just get ur info and tell you what they gonna charge when they call you, + they take forever to unload !! never been out in 2 hrs or less!! absolutely dislike this lunper service company

Got here 4am for appt. Left at 2:30 pm. 26 pallets. $210 unload fee. I would avoid this place. I’m gonna. Monday 6-28-21

Terribly experience, needs to conduct employee progress report where every single one of the employees would then find themselves on a preliminary probationary period which would end in their immediate termination. Hopefully!!!Their quality control department needs an overhaul!!!!

Well, for me, it was perfect. Friendly staff. Get there 1 hr ahead of schedule, got a door right away.. was done in 1 hr.. 😍

Horrible place to deliver to. They make you wait hours after your unloaded to give you your paperwork. If you deliver here make sure you dont have a load booked after because you will probably miss your next appointment. They could be faster but half the people in receiving office are sleeping on the tables.

A very bad place for delivering load. No place to park if you early for your appointment. They are killing their time to be unionized but they are putting others in trouble for their re-loading. Taking forever on deliveries, at least 6 to 7 hours needed even if driver is on-time for his appointment. I will never book a load for my drivers to this place again, Worst experience.

Checked in at 3:20am for 4am appointment it’s 2pm still waiting to get bols .It’s not just me .everyone is here who had appointment at 4amStay out . Nice guys though .No parking near .

Pretty painless to check in. Getting out is murder! 0345 for a 0400 appt, securty was pleasant and professional. Was given a door right away. Backed in and checked in at office. Lady inside was quick to warn me they were running way behind. 1030 received my paperwork and left.

Slow a** people rude and a bunch of disgruntled employees the security people have to have guns to work there too many bad people work there.

I had a great time delivering to Brookshire Grocers yesterday. The security officer at the guard shack was extremely polite, friendly & helpful. I was suppose to get a live unloading but instead he told me to drop my trailer & to grab an empty one. So far, everything went perfectly fine. To be honest & to the best of my knowledge that’s a five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ company.

Arrived at 0430 for a 0600 appt. In a door at 0640. Out the gate at 1200. Typical slow grocery warehouse. Plenty of room to back. No overnight

It was fine. My second time there. We had 7am appt. Got out at 9 am. You can unload there but no oversight parking.

Had to wait 2 hrs for them to finally figure out my appointment time 2.5 hrs to unload and 270.00 for lumper ran out of hours and I couldnt park there for 10 hr break.

My appointment was 7am. Backed into a door by 730am but officially unloaded by 11am. Lumper fee was $190. Plenty of space to back into a door. One of the other drivers on Google reviews wrote the correct address to the facility.Not an first come, first served environment.

Its a honest career and we feel blessed to have it.

Plenty of room to maneuver, Plenty doors, and not too pricy on the lumpers. Truck entrance is on old Jacksonville rd. Sign isnt easy to see until youve already passed it. Then your forced to go the long way around.

TRUCK ENTRANCE ADDRESS IS: 4878 OLD JACKSONVILLE HWY, TYLER TX 75703. Do not use the given address on your Bols because it will lead you to the wrong entrance and it will be very difficult to try and turn around in a semi. Anyway, I arrived at 8:40 am for a 9 am appointment. After you check in with the gaurd, park in the middle across from the docks to stage and walk to the drivers entrance to check in at the office. The office people take a break from 8:30 am to 9 am so you will have to just stand at the window until they come back if you check in at that time. I was called by phone at 9:45 am and given a door. I recieved paperwork at 2:15 pm 😔😥. The people that work here were all very nice and didnt look like they hated their job so that was probably the only good thing.

Dont know if the weekend makes a difference, but I had a super easy delivery here. Arrived 05:30 for 07:00 appt; back out the gate by 08:30. Had a full trailer with $125 lumper. Folks were nice; guard at the gate friendly and helpful. I have no complaints.

Best grocery dc ive ever been to

I did not know you had to be 65 plus (even though Im 58) to have your groceries taken out to your vehicle? I had to take my groceries lit to the car and unload them out of the basket and then take the basket back in. I should of had went to Walmart!! Poor customer service!! I even ordered food from the deli.....she dropped the food directly on the counter while trying to put it in the container and then picked up what was dropped on the counter and put that in my container. When I told her I did not want it and why. She said ok and dumped it right back in the pan/dish Needless to say I will not be back!!!

They DO NOT HAVE OVER NIGHT PARKING. They have a staging area for incoming Trucks but not the Trucks leaving with no hours left on there 11/14 hr clock. The guard shack staff and the Lumper Service is nice but they are slow like all Grocery Warehouses.

Slower than molasses. Had a partial load. Should have been easy peasy cover girl. 3 lousy pallets to take off. Been here for over 2 1/2 hours. If you have higher a lumper you better have a check. They will not under any circumstances provide you with one. This place is like going to a ALDIs DC you will be waiting for eternity before they finally finish up the paperwork

Lot of waiting at the chk n window seemed ignored mostly? Lumper fee high? If lumpers had to breakdown ea plt then rates fine. Give you 3 for average. Want a 5 put some coffee or drink machine n drvers lobby and be faster at chk n window.Thanks for asking.

The best grocery distribution center Ive delivered to. Friendly, The lumpers got right on it, signed bills delivered to me when done.

They will unload you pretty quick, downside is lumper fee $125... plus any broken pallets, refused boxes, restacking, etc...

Employees are very courteous, . Trucks are not allowed in until 330 am for delivery. There is lumpers. Process is not that fast bt cant complain either.

DO NOT GO THERE TO DELIVER ..This place have the practice to refuse the whole pallet only because 1 tiny small thing is damaged ..I had 20oz bottles of water, 2 of them was damaged, missing the caps ...Instead of refusing the whole case, They decided to refuse the whole pallet and took them 34 hours to resolve matter, at the end to tell me to throw it away ....They DID pay detention dough, still came out a bad deal... I did miss my next load, a good one ...I guess this is how truckers heroes according to the news couple months ago are treated in america ... Shame on them !! ..

Staging area outside gate. No lights on at night if u looking for building.

They are breaking federal law by not letting a driver unload their own freight but demand that you hire them to use their lumping service. Violation of the 1981 motor carrier act.

Its locally own and has been here since, before my childhood day till now in my 50s . The place has hired a lot of local people (essential workers) to date with employment.

Arrived and assigned door at 330am...just to find out...they already had a trailer dropped in that door. Wouldnt Assign any other available doors( there were at least a dozen available), been waiting for hour and half just to back in my door..some appointment honor system here..

Well I had heard all of the bad stuff.. but I got here and the guard is very nice and went on the inside I must say I was impressed. It o my took 1.5 hrs. Total in and out ever thing went good for a grocery warehouse.

I was concerned about the bad comments and reviews about this place but i can say they treated me great. Even tho i was late for my appoinment, they took me in and unloaded me quick, I was in n out like in 2 hours. The security guys are great people.

The earliest you can check in is at 3:30 am if U have a 4:00 am appointment. Sometimes the Guard in the front is cool depending on who it is. Now the female at the window Is another story...it’s a Real B**** to say the least. She will try to ruin your day and act like your stupid when she’s the one who is!!!!🙄🤬😡🤥

Ive been here a few times and have always gotten unloaded quickly. My only complaint is that if youve never been here you probably wont find it by following your GPS. They need to put up MUCH better signage directing you to their truck entrance.

Guard was very friendly checked in early and given a door. You can check in at 0300. Tyler travel center is about 15 minutes away lots of parking, laundry room and hot food.

Lumpers need to pay better attention at the window drivers have better things to do than watching the lumper service visit with each other.

Place is kinda slow it depends on what you have.Also it was kinda hard finding the entrance to this place so i will put a pic for other drivers to find there way here.Hope this will help others.

They are pretty good people depends on what type of security person on the gate .. if the security person is nice he let you in after 4 am at any time of your appointment and check in inside ..they will put you on door ... if they have space they receive one day early also my appointment is for Tuesday 7 am I checked in today Monday at 4 am they received my load .i delivered here a lot of times so it is good for me

I love shopping at Brookshires here in Shreveport La. on Pines Rd. All stores are VERY CLEAN and the employees are very professional. I have only one request that the Pines Rd. store be updated like the 2 here in Shreveport La one is on Line Ave. and the other one is on Mansfield Rd. The 2 stores have a seafood and a wine market in thembut the one on Pines Rd. dont. I would have to drive to the other 2 stores to get seafood and wine to feed my family. Im asking has a very valuable customer to PLEASE update our Pines Rd. store.Thank you....

1400 appt. Got there at 1330. Finally finished at 1830. And that was a half a load.
