This auto care is not only convenient located for us but most importantly, seem to do honest business. We went for a oil check and a problem with my steering wheel. The mechanic was honest enough to point out a recall about this issue. We have been going there for couple years and still will take our car in whenever needed. That is definitely the type of service that make me go back.

My experience was amazing! I went in because there was a weird scraping/grinding metal sound that just wouldnt go away. It bothered me because I was scared there was something wrong. Went in for a sound diagnostic and the problem was a simple loose screw hahaha! The mechanics spent a good chunk of time figuring out and fixing the problem, plus they also drove me around a bit so that I could listen to my car and see whether or not the problem was fixed, so I was well-prepared to pay up my charges when BOOM! they told me no charge and let me go out the door just like that. My jaw dropped because at a previous place, they made me pay $100 for 30 minutes of their time and they didnt even find the problem. Will definitely come back again, and I have told my family and friends to come here!

I had my car towed here for a diagnostic because it would not start. Told diagnostic is $150, but that I would be reimbursed some of that if the problem is discovered early on. Got a call almost 2 business days later and told it was only a bad battery. The total bill was over $400! (Which includes a shop supplies fee and taxes, which are not pictured). They charged me full price for the diagnostic (even though they confirmed that the bad battery was discovered almost instantly) and even charged me $37.50 FOR LABOR TO PUT THE BATTERY IN LOL! This is a 1994 Mercury Tracer, meaning the battery is a very small size. I got ripped off. Trust me when I say, go someplace else.

I have been coming here for years! The staff is always so warm and welcoming. The make sure you are well taken care of and throughly explain everything that’s going on with your vehicle and make sure you understand. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

I needed an oil change and found a great groupon deal for here ($11.50 for an oil change). Customer service was awesome. I called to check to see if they were busy and they were able to schedule an appointment for me for that same day ..... About 15 minutes after i called them actually. When I got there, the staff was super nice and friendly. They completed my oil change pretty quickly .... Didnt even have time to finish my free cup of coffee. My only complaint would be they failed to mention a couple things on my printout afterwards. All in all, with the Groupon deal and the customer service they provided, i will definetely be back.

Got breaks from them about a year ago. Charged me $1000 to get them redone I have about 5000 miles on those breaks and they are already going out. They are slow working on the car. Took about an extra two hours than they told me it would take.Edit: First of all, my wife wrote you all a one star review that somehow got deleted so thats some shadiness so I already have no trust in this place even with new ownership. What went array was that you all put a longer bolt on than was supposed to be on. So why would I want to come back. I already got my breaks fixed which cost me an extra $1000 to fix the damage that was done from the bolt being too long.

I will never forget my experience here back in 2006. I had a transmission problem with my Honda Accord. I told them the problem the car was having, then selected the service that would best correct the issue.After a full day in the shop and hundreds of dollars later I got the car back. The issue was NOT fixed. I decided to contact the owner and explain the situation. I expected sympathy and understanding, but instead the owner was rude. He claimed they were not liable and I was basically SOL. He didnt even offer a solution to the problem.My car never got fixed. Till this day Im not sure what they did, but I do know they got a large amount of money for it. Since this happened I have never been here and have been happy ever since.

Work:The mechanics here are great guys. They get the work done, but are constantly pressed for time. However, your car will come out working, so that’s a bonus.Price:It is pretty expensive here for car repairs, however emission tests seem pretty cheap, priced at $25. I got my front breaks replaced and my headlights replaced. It came out to around 900. I’m not sure how much it normally is, but that seemed a bit much for me. They do offer a $25 military discount.Customer Service/Management:There is a female who works here who is a bit snobby. She bosses everyone around and over works the mechanics. I’m not sure what her job is other than to sit in the office. I’ve noticed everyone working on something other than her. I supposed she’s a terrible leader, but great at bossing people around.Time Management:DO NOT TRUST THEIR TIME ESTIMATES!! I called over the phone around 08:45 a.m. and was told my car would take about an hour and a half. I brought it in and they began to work on it. Around 12 p.m. I asked when it would be finished, and they said 5pm, when they close. I’ve watched several other people come in and walk out within’ an hour or two. It’s possible my labor took too much time for them. It appeared as if they stopped working on my car to assist other customers who had shorter, simpler car issues. Just be prepared to spend all day here.

They were very quick to address my vehicle issues and get back to me with results for my concerns plus anything else they found. They were also honest with my options and willing to start with the least expensive option and work from there. I was called at each step and given an update and asked permission to move forward. I really appreciated that I was not treated like a dumb female because I do actually know about vehicles. The quotes given were comparable to other shops, if not less. And the quotes did not change!! They were very quick with the work also and have a discount set up with the local rental car company that saved me over $400!!

The technician who came out to replace my windshield was very prompt, courteous and professional. He was very friendly and took the time to explain the install and curing process to me. After the replacement was done, he double checked to make sure I was satisfied before he left. I greatly appreciate the work he performed and the awesome attitude he displayed while performing the work!

My tire had a puncture in it, so I took it to Precision tire to see if they could patch it. They told me after half an hour that the tire could not be patched because there was a puncture. They ordered a tire for me and said that they could fix it the very next day. I left my car in their garage. The next day, in the afternoon, I received a phone call that my car was ready for pick up. I picked up my car. I drive a new Prius and it felt a little off, like it is out of alignment. When I took a look around in my car, I found several tools in my backseat, and a huge panel was just lying on top of my backseat. Turns out that the panel is to the right passenger side seat area. I have no idea why they would take this off while changing my tire. Additionally the interior of my car was scratched up on the right passenger side. UPDATE: according to “Az,” they left my car in neutral all night (which means they left the car on all night bc a Prius won’t shut off unless in park), and the battery died. They ripped off the panel under the passenger seat to charge the battery, and just left the panel and their tools behind. I have no idea what they are doing at Precision tire, but, whatever it is, it is shady. I would never go back there. I am taking the car to the dealer tomorrow so they can check for other damage.

I took my truck in for brakes and serpentine belt. I was a little reluctant when I found out the shop is under new management, as Ive trusted them with a few repairs over the years. The charges for the job were what I expected and was unexpectedly given a military discount! I got a chance to speak with the owner only to find out he is a veteran himself! The entire staff was friendly and the place is very clean. I will definitely be back! Thank you

I finally threw my hands up and admitted I needed a mechanic. I was prepared for a laundry list of things they “thought” were wrong, but in fact they were very clear and precise about what needed to be addressed NOW and what can wait. Great personalities, very affordable pricing, I definitely found my Shop for when I need one.

This business deserves more than 5 stars! They were recommended to me by a friend after a few other mechanics in town had overcharged or not done quality work on my car. These guys didnt waste my time or my money. The owner, Aziz, was genuinely gracious and appreciative to have my business. All the employees were very welcoming, professional and polite. The waiting area and restroom are clean, comfortable and well maintained. I will trust them with all my future car repair needs.

The staff was very attentive and helpful, they were very upfront about the work they would be doing as well as the cost; which was reasonable as I had price checked other local shops. I went in to get my starting system checked and they got to work right away and had me on my way in less than an hour. The manager was very friendly and took the time to talk to every customer that came in while I waited. Ive had plenty of bad experiences with shops where the workmanship was poor as well as the customer service. This was NOT one of them and Ill be taking my business here in the future. Automotive repairs are never cheap and this place was very reasonable with their pricing while providing quality customer service. I honestly have nothing negative to say about my experience. This is my first time with this Precision Tune location for an oil change. I’m not impressed about it because I come in Saturday they told me $10.00 surge to remove skid plate. The standard synthetic blend oil change is $26.99 minus $5 off = $19.99 instead they added additional $10.00 for 5-30W. My total bill $51.09. Yes they are upfront about the pricing and because I’m in a rush I have no choice. This is the first and last time time for with this location.

The boss man and his team always get the job done! If there is a problem of any kind boss man gets it taken care of! His employees are great guys who always make you feel welcomed and are funny. Its always nice and clean and nice to see a shop with a clean warm bathroom for customers.

This is without a question the best mechanic shop I have ever known. Ive been taking my Toyota Tacoma there since 2006 with any problems. I estimate I have been to the shop probably about 60 times. They have never, ever once been anything but absolutely professional and they do perfect work, every single time. They will tell you what your car could use/need, but they never ever pressure you to do any work. They take walk-ins and can almost always do virtually any repair the same day. Since I have been taking my truck there, they have helped me get it from 250,000 to 500,000 miles!! (Just hit 500k last week). I absolutely give them a big chunk of the credit for the 500k miles. Go here--you cant go wrong!! Also, thank you Precision Tune. You guys are the best!

A good place for an oil change or minor auto care. They also do emissions testing. There prices are a little high but the service is not bad. The owner is a little much. When he is there he micro manages everyone, and hell talk right over you leaving you feeling like hes not really listening or taking care of the issue you may have, so I always hope hes not there when I go.

I have all the maintenance on my vehicles, both major and minor, performed at Precision Tune Auto Care - University Place. I have always found that Mr. Karims skilled technicians perform the repairs/maintenance correctly and have the vehicle ready for pick up when promised. Recently, Precision Tune became a certified Washington State Department of Ecology Emission Testing Center. As luck would have it, I needed to have an emission test on one of my cars so I took it to Precision Tune. While I paid $10 more to have the test performed at Precision Tune rather than the State testing facility, I saved over $6 in gas and over an hour of my time counting the drive to/from the State test facility and waiting in line to have it performed. Having your emission check performed at Precision Tune is a real value!

Best customer service Ive ever experienced at a car place. Ive seen these guys go as far as driving customers home in their personal vehicles due to their car being stuck in the shop. This place will really go the extra mile for you and will speak you as if a friend while still remain remaining professional. 5 stars all day long!

This shop is a rare find in the auto repair business. I had a problem with my drivers window coming off track and forgot to tell them about it when I brought it here for an emissions test. They spent a good amount of time putting the window back in place and charged me nothing for their time even though it was my fault for not telling them.I asked for a quote to replace the window regulator and they gave me a very reasonable one. I tend to do a lot of work on my cars myself but I wanted no part of this job as I had already spent hours fiddling with the window right after I bought the car and knew what a pain it would be.The job took longer than estimated but they stuck to the price they had quoted me and I didnt mind waiting because I knew the job was complicated. While waiting I observed several patrons coming and going and was very impressed with the interaction between the staff and their customers. I could go on and on but you get the point. The most honest and fair shop I have ever experienced. I will recommend this place to everyone I know.

Took my car here for oils change and they recommend me oil flush. I do oil changes on my car every 3k miles or less regularly. It seems they recommend all new customers for oils flush for to add 50 bucks on your bill. Total unnecessary and scam.

I was surprised to find that state required emissions testing can be done here! That is a great time saver over trudging over to the hidden Lakewood test site and its only a couple minutes from my house. I perfer to have a local business take care of me anyways. Nice friendly people eager to take care of what I need. I found it to be a good value for the service.

This Precision Tune now offers Emission Testing. I took my 2008 Cadillac STS in for this simple inspection, and now my check engine light is on and they tried to charge me nearly $100 more than what I was coming in for. The problem I am having is that my car has been serviced by a Certified Chevrolet dealer since Ive owned it. I just had all my scheduled services done and there was nothing wrong, but after Precision Tune had their hands on it, now there is. The manger was very rude, and now I have to get this checked out by real professionals. I would not recommend that you come to this Precision Tune because they will try and rob you for your hard earned money....

Got in and out under an hour and the receptionist was nice enough to offer me water and a discount.

Took my Subaru in to have a technician trouble shoot a low tire pressure warning light. They found a couple of screws in one tire. The road debris was removed and tire repaired. I also had the wheels aligned and tires repaired. All the repair work was performed in a timely and professional manner, as well as at a price which was competitive with other auto repair businesses in the area. I highly recommend University Places Precision Auto Tune for your vehicle repair needs.

They got me in last minute for an emissions test. I had to go home to get my card to pay after the test. I came back 5 minutes til close. They then topped my oil off for $5.00. Not only did they do all of that, they treated me with kindness and respect and had amazing attitudes and customer service skills. Not once did I feel unwelcome or like a burden despite being such a bothersome customer! The ladies at the front desk were very knowledgeable about not only front office, but back office as well. The mechanics were also friendly and quick. Thank you guys, Ill be coming back for any future car needs.

Does not take American express, and over priced service. I came in to get a bulb changed in my headlight. The price came out to $56.68. $30.00 for labor. To change the bulb is very simple. I was in a hurry because I was late for work, so I was willing to pay for the service, but if you have some extra time, I suggest going somewhere else.

I was very impressed with the courtesy and respect I was given by Aziz and his staff at the Bridgeport location. He took the time to explain every detail about the work performed and has done an amazing job fixing my Nissan pick-up and my 1999 Cadillac, which is now running sweet after he put another engine in it. Folks you really want to avoid this shop if you are looking for an honest opinion or quote. My trip in there was for a fluid leak that was quoted me well over a thousand dollars for the repair. I decided to get a second opinion and was shocked to discover the part leaking was only fifty bucks and one hour of time to repair. I have been real tempted to notify precision tunes head quarters and bring it to their attention but I thought I would start here in my U.P. neighborhood first giving you a heads up...These crooks dont even deserve a one star rating. Great for emission testing or in a hurry but thats it. They overcharge you and it feels a bit sketchy.My husband took his car here a while back and they said they needed it overnight to fix, 3 days later he got it back. Fortunately I didnt need mine so he could use it but they took their time and overcharged us like no other. I shoupd have leanred my lesson then but decided to go back for just an oil change.I went today for simple oil and tire repair and told them I had a coupon but forgot it at home. I asked if they would honor it or if I needed to go get it (I was planning to go this weekend but was in the area so thought I would stop in and ask) they told me they would honor it. 4 hours later they finished the work and I went to pay and found out they didnt honor the coupon. It needed to be presented before service I stated that they told me they would honor it and take it off at the end but they stated that I signed for service to be done and agreed to pay.I then asked about their military discount (which was granted to me in the past) but they stated that they only give it on larger jobs (despite my total being over $115.00). You either do or dont give a military discount. Thats like stating you do a teacher discount, but only for math teachers, not science.DO NOT waste your time or money here. They charge you for every dime you have. I wont be going back.

I would give them Zero stars if possible! Had to take one of our cars into an emissions certified shop, it failed emissions. My daughter took it to Precision Tune Auto Care and its not the first time we have had a bad experience with them. Poor customer service, suggesting services not needed and just rude if you decline their recommendation. I recommend avoiding this place by all means. Dont be fooled by the fake reviews.

This place is lame. Brought my other vehicle there needed just emissions all they had to do was plug something instead, but two guys were taking turns doing what the hell it was they were doing. They were also going under the vehicle for some weird reason when all they had to do was plug in and get a code.after that they were giving me a quote for other stuff that had nothing to do for what I was there for.They were telling me the truck was low on oil and had low pressure, but the week before I had the oil changed, they also said I needed a new motor, this was three months ago.the truck drives fine today. The girls in the office didnt listen and one of them kept interrupting. I will not go there again they suck and I feel like they were not truthful. They also told my wife a fuse was going to be $185.we got a quote for same thing for $35 somewhere else WAtch out for this place.

These guys are Crooks, they will bleed you dry if they can and if you let them theyll find something wrong if not create it. Even if its their fault whats they never admit they replace my fuel pump and disabled my fuel sensor on the fuel pump and wanted me to pay more to get that fixed said oh you needed a whole new dashboard I got out of there as quick as I could. Do not go to an auto service if their rating is 3.8 go to a reliable mechanic with a rating of 4.5 or above this is a warning

Serviced my car in a very timely manner although I hadnt made an appointment. Pointed out other services I needed to which I was aware. They had the product on hand so as to be able to fix my problem right away.

I got my iridium plugs replaced and a six cylinder tune up at Precision Tune auto care in University Place, WA 3/29/2018 a couple months ago. While their, other customers had called the police on Precision Auto care due to parts missing from under the hood of their car. While the cops were there due to the customers and the employee altercation, after no resolution between shop and customer, my ride was ready 215.78$ later. The only problem was that I did not receive my old parts/plugs back. Which leads me to believe there was no work done and possibly swapped out my new parts for old ones. The mechanic stared at me with sketchy eyes as I was leaving as well. Felt like something was going on there thats not right and my car hasnt been running the same since.

I went into the UP location for a coolant top off, the front desk day was really polite, when I was talking to her about the coolant top off a lady from the back room, I think she is might be a manager, interfered in our conversation and tried to make comments about other problems my car might have, to run some tests on my car, which was not what I was there for, I clearly knew I just need a coolant top off. I felt that she was talking down to me that I dont understand something and she suggested me googling my issues, and she said: there are a lot of things on the internet that could be helpful, if u watch some videos, she said it in a sarcastic way, to make me look dumb in from of other guests who were waiting in the lobby. And at the end she said of course I can top of the coolant for you if you like, at that point I didnt even want their service. So I went to Jiffy Lube and they filled up my coolant whithout any questions, and when I wanted to pay they didnt even charge me, wonderful service there, very satisfied!! And the coolant top was all I needed to have my car run perfect, I had no other issues.

Ive been a customer since they were at the old location, and they still impress me. This week I burned out a crank sensor in my VW and they spent extra hours with no charge to find the problem, fixed it, then pounded out a dent in my fender just for good measure. Best shop in Tacoma!

I dropped my car off for a much needed tune up at the university place precision tune as I ran a few errands. I was under some time constraints but Aziz, the owner assured me that it would be taken care of relatively quickly. He is a man of his words. He bent over backwards to get my car in and out. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and quality of work. I wont take my car any where else from now on.

Aziz and the whole crew here are wonderful! They may not be the cheapest game in town, but you get what you pay for, and Im not interested in bargain priced, quick and dirty repairs. Excellent customer service, an understanding and helpful staff, and top-shelf work. Theyve taken care of both of our cars for years, and when I was in a hit-and-run recently, Aziz guided us through the claims process, and left my car looking (and driving) good as new. I recommend this shop to everyone who asks.

AVOID THIS MECHANIC AT ALL COST! They will not fix your issue and they incur maximum charges for parts and labor you dont need! Theyre deceptive and DO NOT guarantee nor stand by their work if your issue persists. I would give a 0 star rating if I could! I recently took my 1994 Ford Ranger to the University Place location. It wouldnt start due to the battery consistently being dead (it only would start from a jump with another vehicle). Upon arrival to Precision, they stated they would do a $65 charging system test to see what was going on and I left my vehicle overnight. They eventually called me the next day 3 hours past the time they said they would get back with me (noon), and claimed the battery was fine per their tests, and the issue was the alternator. They also stated it was critical to have my belt tensioner and serpentine belt fixed, as it could break at any moment, and fly off while I was driving, which could cause an accident. I explained to them I was a full-time college student, with a very old vehicle that I didnt want to invest much more in. They claimed all the repairs they were doing were critical and my issue wasnt my battery. Eventually they presented me with a $811 bill, which I begrudgingly agreed to as my issue appeared resolved. The next morning I attempted to start my vehicle, AND I HAD THE SAME ISSUE with a dead battery, despite having spent over $800. When I returned to them and demanded they fix the issue, the owner, Aziz, stated he would stand by his work and there was nothing to worry about. He then showed me a diagnostic that showed the battery indeed was BAD and that was the entire issue from the beginning (just like I thought it was). When I demanded that they replace the battery for not catching the issue the first time and charging me nearly a thousand dollars, the owner erroneously claimed I did not leave my vehicle overnight, which is why they didnt catch the issue of the bad battery the first time. He demanded $185 more to fix the battery, which clearly was the problem the whole time. I told him I did not have the money, due to just spending over $800 for parts I DID NOT NEED. Precision would not fix my issue without more money, nor would they reimburse me. Now Im left with a truck that will not run and Im over $800 in the hole! I wouldnt recommend this mechanic to anyone, as they swindle and deceive you for every penny you have and dont fix your problems!
