The food, drinks, and desserts are all fantastic. The customer service is excellent. They do have signs up stating they are short-staffed at the moment, just like many other businesses are.This is a family-owned business and we need a support our small businesses as the severity of the lockdown in California has caused over a third of the small businesses to shut down.

What a unique variety of breakfast creations! Had the Green Eggs n Ham with a bulletproof coffee... so good! I like that they had non-dairy milk alternative options and plenty of menu options to please even the pickiest of palettes.You know it’s worth trying when you walk in to a quiet place with a few people inside and within a half hour, the line is to the back of the restaurant.

Had breakfast, it was tasty and just warm. Seem to blame short staffed due to COVID-19. They had signs up to let us know, we were pre warned.

Great breakfast mulita! Service: not impressive. This place serves old coffee. I asked if the young lady at the cash register could brew a fresh cup and she said that there wasnt anymore. Really? At a Cafe? 😑Worst $3 black coffee ever.

Very nice cafe and bakery. Small display case with baked goods, big menu with a good selection of food and coffee drinks. Dining area is nice with a lot of natural light. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Theres plenty of parking and easy to find. Food quality is good and service is great. Good place to meet with friends, study or grab a quick lunch.

I come here at least once a week and I hate how this place is so good. I keep coming back. The breakfast, pastries and coffee are always delicious! I have a sensitivity to gluten and I love how they have gluten free brownies. The staff is always friendly and the area is always so clean. Best breakfast spot in upland!

Bacon on half of blta sandwich was tough and chewy, bacon on other half was partially raw, could not eat. Avocado mash was already turning brown, bread was also not grilled. Chocolate pancakes were were undercooked in the middle, doughy, and did not receive toppings to go with oatmeal. Quality of food was awful, not to mention everything was overpriced. All your bakery goods suck, big time.

Pancakes were a little undercooked, cinnamon roll was DELICIOUS, Migas with chorizo was DELICIOUS! Simple decor and very clean. Staff is super attentive.

The food here is very good. They serve generous portions and love the fact that they actually top your pancakes or french toast with fresh cut fruits. Their tater tots are yummy and a nice option to have other than the traditional hash browns. This has become our favorite breakfast spot.

This location doesn’t serve the entire menu that is listed on their website. Tables and floor are dirty. The breakfast burrito was flavorless, the omelette was over cooked and had no flavor. The Chi Latte and Mocha was more cream than chi or Mocha. Could of got a better meal for a lot less at Taco Bell. Cost to value is terrible.

I was looking for a very specific brunch spot that would be able to accommodate all my needs. It needed to be close to the freeway, provide seating outdoors (due to covid), serve delicious brunch foods and be somewhat quick!Butter Cafe & Bakery just so happened to fulfill all of my needs and more! The location is a bit hidden, and I accidentally went to the Country Club across the street, but youll find it! They have an amazing menu with a little bit of everything. Avocado toast, french toast, country fried steaksn and a variety of sandwiches for those who want to skip breakfast all together.We ordered the chilaquiles, breakfast burrito and an avocado toast. The chilaquiles were nice and crispy, and came with two eggs. It was quite spicy for my tastes, so its something to note for those who cant handle the heat like me! The breakfast burrito was a beast of a thing. It was very filling and quite tasty, I appreciated the amount of eggs that were inside it. The avocado toast came on a nice thick slice of challah bread and a side of tater tots! This toast was one for champions, it didnt come on a tiny sliver of bread like the ones you see on instagram.Also, do not forget the cookies! The chocolate chip was very yummy and I like how the chocolate chip was sandwiched in-between the dough! I highly recommend you give it a try.Would love to go back when Im in the area to try their french toast, it looked delicious. Great spot for a quick breakfast, lunch or brunch!

Sunday for breakfast...yummy waffle with bananas and strawberries. Back on Monday for lunch... chicken and avacado and bacon sandwich with fries. So, so good and cooked to perfection. Loved everything.

Ordered the breakfast burrito and biscuits & gravy. Both were excellent but my favorite was the biscuits & gravy. It is really hard to find excellent biscuits & gravy in California but this hit the spot. Not only is the gravy homemade but so are the biscuits which is rare. Most places just use frozen biscuits but here they are made fresh. Also ordered lattes which tasted great. Definitely coming back here again.

This place was AMAZING. Not only does the food taste good the portions are large. I got a huge breakfast burrito eggs, hash browns, avocado bacon, jalapeños. Plus coffee and a lemon ricotta bar. The staff were attentive and so kind. Definitely coming back and telling everyone about this place.

Wanting to check out something different than our usual coffee spots, we also wanted something that had breakfast on the menu since we were both fasting this particular morning. We found Butters not too far from where we were at, so we came here for breakfast.Being our first time here, the two young ladies at the counter were very friendly and helpful explaining the menu and giving us some feedback on the types of coffee they have. We settled for a breakfast burrito and biscuits and gravy of course lol. Both were really good, not sure which one I liked more the Burrito or the biscuits and gravy lol.My sister wanted to try their coffee cake, so of course we ordered one to go. This went very well with the ButterProof Coffee. We will definitely be returning.

We had a great breakfast this morning. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pancake and eggs were delicious. The appearance of the store is very clean and inviting.

Clean. Customer service good. Been 3 times and each time they couldnt serve waffles stating it was broke. Please get it fixed. A little pricey for quality and quantity.

Ordered 2 sandwiches. The chicken, artichoke heart, spinach seemed it had been microwaved too long. The chicken was leathery and the bread was rubbery. The turkey, bacon, avocado was good. Really enjoyed the salad.

Bakery made German Chocolate cake for wifes bday and it was delicious. All breakfast items so far have been BOMB. Mr. Water is very accommodating and helpful. Great place!

Great food...good prices. Had the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs, and turkey sausage. Everythig was very good, but a little skimpy on the gravy, but all I had to do is ask, and they gave me a small container on the side!

5 stars is an understatement. I have eaten here 8 times so far and after ordering something different everytime I have yet to have a meal I wouldnt order again. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place is very clean and bright. They do have wifi. Breakfast and lunch only so far. Fresh food made to order and still pretty fast. I hope this helps and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Excellent food! The pecan sticky buns and pecan bars are the best Ive ever had. The breakfast burrito with tater tots and avocado is my favorite entree. Staff is very friendly & helpful. I was unable to connect to their Wi-Fi, and there are very few electrical outlets for charging technology, so this may not be the best place to do work.

Biscuits and gravy are weird and is yellow color taste like pepper bacon is nasty too. Just a bunch of people who don’t care how to make food

Pastries are heavy and dense. Not good. Drinks are just ok. A lot of hype they dont live up to.

The Food is good but EVERYTHING here comes in or on plastic: only plastic cutlery, plastic cups, spices in plastic, plastic packaging for to go... this is just wasteful and could be easily avoided to make this a better and more reasonable place to go.
