Ive been going to golden eagle for years great agency great staff great people to work with top notch movers work there

This is the third time Ive used Golden Eagle and as usual, they have been great! Marti was great to work with on the estimates and Carolina & the office staff have equally been great. I packed a ton of non-breakables but left all of the breakable items to Golden Eagle. My moving team - Price, Art and Jake were on time, efficient and good. They did a great job. In planning for the final move east, I worked with Marti to make sure that the company on the East Coast would be as good as Golden Eagle. Again, Im very happy with the service!

They were very accommodating to me. Carolina was able to be flexible with me changing my moving date. The movers were very professional. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because I was not told about the drive being double in time. I was confused with that when I had to pay a fuel expense. The drive was 30 minutes. They charged me for a whole hour because they doubled the drive time.Otherwise, the overall experience was great. Nothing was broken. They handled everything with care. They asked where to put everything. I would recommend them for sure.

Price was decent for the move we made from California to Washington State, things seemed fine at first. But come time to move - the movers who showed up were very slow and not very careful with our belongings. We had full value protection on our move but had packed most of our items ourselves to save money. Unfortunately the info they give you does not tell you that the full value coverage does not cover items that you pack yourselves. We found that out the hard way after we got our items delivered (again with slow and not very careful movers). We could see that most of our boxes which we had packed very carefully were smashed or crushed even the ones that had Fragile written all over them were at the bottom of a pile of other large boxes. We had an expensive vase broken along with about 5 to 6 other items. We submitted a claim which was all but declined as they stated we packed the items. We were not very happy overall with this moving company and would not recommend using them even if its to save money. You will pay for it in the end.

I scheduled a virtual appointment for moving estimate. The day before the appointment Chris even sent me a text for confirmation. However, on the day of the appointment, no one contacted me. I tried to call Chris and the company after the appointment time to check what happened, but no one even answered the phone.

Our daughter recommended Golden Eagle Moving Services, Inc. We are so happy we took her recommendation. The moving crew were great both days. Fast, Friendly, & Professional. Thanks Guys!

PLEASE, do NOT sign a contract with United Van Lines (UVL), or any of their Agents, to avoid thehorrific experience my family has endured.We moved from the Los Angeles area, to the Las Vegas area. UVL crews packed the household goodson 9/9/2020 were loaded on 9/10.2020 and unloaded in Las Vegas on 9/15/2020. During the unpacking,we found damaged and destroyed items totaling an estimated $15,000.00. UVL was notified of thedamages but they NEVER sent anyone to inspect the damages. We subsequently located and hired aClaims Inspector in the area, to document and verify all damaged and destroyed furniture.We paid UVL for an insurance policy stating: “YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE FULL VALUEPROTECTION. Our records show that you have chosen the FULL VALUE PROTECTION optionand that you have agreed that our liability to you for loss and damages will be to repair or replacethose goods, up to a maximum of $125,900.00 with $0.00 deductible.”After seven (7) months of numerous e-mails and telephone calls to UVL, we received a settlementcheck in the amount of $1,397.99 to reportedly settle our damage claim. UVLs offer to settle theclaim is about 9% of the total loss incurred.United Van Lines is in “Breach of Contract” and legal remedies must now be considered.

I recently sold my house and bought a new house. Moving is no fun at all but these guys made it a little easier. Once I was all packed, I called them and they showed up on time and moved everything. They were helpful and answered all my questions and got me from my old house to my new house within one day. They packed my mattresses, wrapped my appliances, and took good care of everything. Like I said, moving is no fun but I would recommend these guys to help you.

Ridiculously very expensive!

These folks did a fabulous job, from beginning to end. The estimator was right on time and very pleasant to work with. The estimated weight was a little lower than the actual weight, but since the quote was binding we were not charged the extra tonnage. The mover/driver was great to work with. He delivered our stuff a day earlier than quoted - which was fine with us. The move was a little complicated with half of the stuff going into storage and the other half handed off to a 2nd moving company. He handled it like the pro that he is.

Moved back to Colorado from the festering scab on Americas backside known as Commiefornia. My vitriol for CA aside- this company did me right. There were a couple of hiccups but overall when you look at it after is conclusion- went very smooth considering it was during the height of covid times. The estimator did her best but underbid the weight by about 4k lbs- but they did hold to thier guaranteed price. This underbid resulted in sending a truck that didnt have the capacity to take out entire move so they had to send an overflow truck. That went fine- but getting the overflow to Colorado was the biggest headache- but again, all things considered went well. I would recommend.

This company is hands down, far and away, the BEST moving service I have used. In the past 5 years, we have used three different moving companies, and Golden Eagle was BY FAR the best, from start to finish. From scheduling the move to the the actual move itself, Golden Eagle far exceeded our expectations. Our 4 man crew of Sean, Art, Jesse, and one other young man (forgot his name!) was AWESOME. They were all dedicated, hard working, caring, respectful, and most importantly polite and super friendly. I trust them fully with our belongings and they took the best care of our things--nothing was damaged at all. They took extra care to wrap everything, worked carefully, and had an awesome attitude the entire time. I cant thank these guys enough--they made a stressful experience into one that was much easier to deal with. You guys are the best around and I would recommend them in a heartbeat! I cant say enough wonderful things about this company and their workers!

I’ve had two very positive experiences using Golden Eagle and United Van Lines - the most recent being a 2800-mile cross-country relocation. Chris Scott with Golden Eagle is thorough, and explains the estimate process clearly. I was impressed with the loading and unloading teams both, and everything made the trip intact, on time, and with no issues. I would recommend both United and Golden Eagle to anyone considering utilizing a professional mover for a relocation.

Golden Eagle/United did a fantastic job on my interstate move. I cant speak to their packing skills, as my wife and I did it ourselves, but not a single item was missing or broken. Quote was accurate (ended up being slightly under the estimate) and the team was friendly and professional. Two thumbs up!

We used Golden Eagle recently to move a lot of items into storage in another state. We will use them again for a second move very soon when we get a house. That move will go directly to the house and will be furniture, etc. I am confident that we will have the same great experience with the second move as we did with the initial move. The people were all friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and make it easy for us. The estimate was reasonable too! I would recommend them to anyone planning a move!

So, these guys moved my family and I from Upland to Palm Springs in 2015. We had to use someone else to move us back in 2016. Then, we just used Golden Eagle again to move our family again in June 2018. Two completely different crews moved us and each experience was amazing. I don’t know what they are doing over there, but their teams are just easy to deal with and professional. The crews were both extremely careful and personable. So much so that my wife kept referring to them by their first names instead of “the moving guys” after they had long gone.Golden Eagle is doing something right over there to keep having a consistently awesome moving experience. I can’t refer these guys enough!

We used Golden Eagle movers twice. Cant say enough good things about them .They did what they promised. No issues. Everything on time. They took great care with our furniture. As well as all walls and doors in our house. Very upfront with pricing. Carolyn, our schedule, was fantastic both moves. We highly recommend this company. !

This team made a major, time sensitive move as pleasant as possible. Packing, loading and delivery went smoothly with their professionals. I have very large heavu furniture with lots of glass. They did not flinch and cost came in under quote. I highly recommend Golden Eagle Moving.

Easy to find not far from the freeway. Entrance is decent one truck at a time. Got 3-4 docks no extra space to wait. Loading time 2 hours.

They stole from me. They had to keep 1/2 my things overnight since my community wouldnt allow them to come in after dark. I am sick to my stomach. My 1st move with them was awesome! The 2nd - where my personal property was kept at their facility (apparently unlocked) resulted in theft and heartbreak. I didnt notice for some time, since I lived alone and had to pack up 3341 sqft of stuff and move and unpack alone. I will never use them again - and, I hope youre smart enough not to, either.

Although I didn’t have enough time, give enough notice, or have enough household stuff to use the moving truck or Golden Eagle...I needed my vehicle shipped cross country and was in a panic after the company I was using was not coming through. I have used Golden Eagle four times in the past three years, moving my mother to various apartments. The office staff were easy to work with, friendly and helpful. The movers each time did a careful job with my moms antiques and otherwise fragile stuff. No breakage or any other complaints. Nothing but praise and thanks for them.

The movers and support staff at Eagle Movers are excellent. I have used them many times and each time everything was as planned. The moving guys are always competent and go beyond my expectations. Great job guys!

After meeting and speaking with 4 or 5 moving companies I met with Mike at Golden Eagle (United) I was impressed from the beginning with his knowledge and helpful instructions on packing. I did not know there were different grades of packing paper or cartons. Mike also informed us how to get the public street in front of our home blocked off the day of moving by contacting our local police department and thus saving us an extra $550 fee other companies were going to charge us to use a smaller truck to take our goods to the moving van. What cinched the deal for me was that I got a Binding Estimate. This meant my price was locked in. If the weight of my goods was less than estimated I would get a check reflecting the difference. If the weight was higher than estimated the estimated cost would not change. This is incredible in this industry. Any questions I had were quickly answered by Caroline in warm, friendly, knowledgable manner. Moving day was so much better than I anticipated as were we packed by this fabulous couple (the Whitfields) and two helpers. At the promised time we received our goods that had to travel from California to New Jersey. The original movers also drove and unpacked. It was without one negative incident, or word even when they saw the three flights of stairs. This company delivers in all ways. I have moved 14 times and I consider myself a good judge. United Van Lines (Golden Eagle) are tried and true. Anyone else is second rate. Go with the best United, we did!

The staff was nice and helpful, but they trashed our boxes and broke nearly anything remotely fragile. They took no care to move boxes gently even when they were clearly labeled fragile. The boxes were clearly crushed when they arrived, and even things that are fairly sturdy were broken upon arrival. We have moved multiple times, packed the same way and never encountered so much broken stuff as we did with these professional movers. Will never use them again.

United van lines/ Golden eagle Upland CA. I moved from San Bernardino CA,. to Ga. 1/2 of my furniture was scratched, or broken and disassembled. It all went to storage. When I was ready to pull my items out they were damaged. I sent enough pictures to them but they denied my claim cause some of the items were pulled out of storage. How can pictures be taken in the dark with your cell phone! They also sent my patio cushions to ??They finally found them and shipped them UPS. They are friendly but not honest. I will never use the again!

This was the most stressful and horrible moving experience. These people are deceptive and dishonest. They will take your money and ignore you and if youre lucky you will get your broken and scratched items back. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!

We did a local move in August and then an out of state move in October. Both experiences with them were very professional. My interactions with the front office all the way down to the men doing the heavy lifting were top rate. The workers were very efficient and very careful not to do the slightest damage to any of our furniture and property.Their top van driver, Delbert Longberry coordinated the entire operation and saw to it that the entire team worked together to achieve the desired objective. He then safely drove all our belonging up the treacherous Interstate 580 to our new home despite very windy conditions, that at times required him to drive at only 25 mph.When you hear in the news about horror stories regarding moving companies, it can be pretty scary.Thankfully, there are honest and reliable companies in the moving business and Golden Eagle Moving Services is at the top of the list in my book !

Mike Brunet and his assistant were absolutely wonderful in their dealings with me. They were always available to call when I changed my mind about what to take, and then when I changed my mind again with items to take or leave, several changes of dates to load and dates to leave for my new place.

Golden Eagle was recommended by several people. Mike Burnett came out and insured us that they were the most professional and others would contract with different people when they dropped off the load. He sold us on the fact that we would have the same people unload as loaded. This was only partially true. the driver was the only real person that handled it from start to finish... and he had no clue how things were taken apart. He tried his best, but the packers took things apart, didnt take the time to keep things together.... bolts with tables, screws with tools, parts to attach yard heaters, etc. The items were dropped off in piles and left with the promise that someone would show up later to fix it. We have yet to see this. When Ethan Allen tables were reassembled, screws were overtightened and wood bubbled on the top surfaces. Screws were missing making the tables un usable. Tables are still sitting upside down in the middle of rooms awaiting the mysterious people that will return to repair the problems. Mike Burnett made a final sales pitch that our largest customers receive a top producers award that allow the set up of two home theater systems where they hook up two wall mounted televisions to surround sound, stereos, Xbox, PS3 just the way we take it apart, as well as the set up of the home computer systems including the WiFi, Routers, printers and such. Upon arrival to our new home no one knows anything about the way this works. In fact, Bob Johnsons response was that I try not to get involved in this type of stuff because all I do is schedule, but we will take care of it. That he did.... We teleconferenced and insured us that it would all be taken care of, in fact gave us the name of a company to use and said he would rather us take care of the issue and reimburse us and his salesman would be charged the cost since he didnt understand the award process. He said to have the two tvs hooked up and computer system by the company and I would be reimbursed. I did that and had two separate bills produced.... one that was for the wiring of two in wall speakers and cutting in four others.... I felt this was not within the agreed set up. I paid the company and submitted the bill to Golden Eagle. I received a very kind letter from the CFO... Tom Johnson that said that they would pay half the bill and I should be more than lucky to get that.I contacted Bob Johnson on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 to discuss the issue and he said we didnt make any money on this so he was done speaking to me and hung up. I have worked very hard for my belongings. The crews that packed initially did a great job packing to prevent damage, but rushed at the end. They didnt keep bolts with packed items.... In fact, part of the electronic issue is that we have no idea where any of the wires went for each of the items and some had to be repurchased...... ethernet cables, plugs etc. Crews on the back side delivery were contracted to unload. I felt bad for them as they showed up at 0800 and didnt start unloading until 1:00 PM since the driver couldnt get the truck in the driveway and a small rental truck was used to shuttle. They finally rebelled and quit at 1:00 AM in the morning and refused to lift another item and left. They reportedly were coming back the next day, but one of the rebelled workers told us that they had no intentions of returning, however the driver assured us that they were coming the next morning. They didnt show! They decided that they would come finish on Fathers Day at 5:00 AM.I believe that a company should stand behind their bid and service even if they lost money. The owner... Bob Johnson.... obviously believes that when he has no more meat in the game that he abandons the contract. His exact statement was I havent made any money, nor has Mike Burnett and we are done speaking to you! CLICK!!!! the telephone is hung up. I called for a quote and the lady was incredibly rude, I told her my date she just said NO! Then asked how big my house was and she said I cant give you quote in a very rude tone. Wow! Way to lose business!
