Nice experience, a lot if items out of stock.

7:30 on Sunday night had to check out our entire cart at selfcheckout. Everything wouldnt fit in bag area. Not 1 single lane open with a cashier! We pay a lot of our groceries and I have a job where I work over 40 hours a week. Kroger does not pay me to work there nor do they give a discount because they cant keep employees. I was told all but 1 person was at lunch. Maybe they should have staggered their lunch so customers are taken care of. With the prices they are charging this is ridiculous!

I had to move From Kroger to Elsewhere to get My Medicine Kroger missed them up 15 Time on me, I Like my Know Place Very Friendly Not Rude like most Kroger People I when you call them up

Good place to shop, good deals. They are remodeling the store, cant wait to see how it looks. People are very friendly and helpful. Free samples in bakery daily. I loose myself with my toilet paper fortress. If you find my fort the password is snails otherwise access denied. Join us on the war against pasta

The grocery Manager, Tim I believe, is one of the rudest employees I have ever encountered anywhere. Especially for being the a grocery manager you would think he would have a little more class. If you have a problem with anything at the store don’t go see him, talk to corporate instead. I would rather drive 30 minutes out of the way than to go back and see this shmuck. Guy is hot tempered and you can tell he doesn’t want to be there or care about the customers.

On one visit to urbana kroger I came home and the buttermilk I got was expired, the greek yogurt I got was expired, and the sour cream I got was expired. Need to do a better job of checking expiration dates of things on the shelf.

I always go there for the great deals, plus I hate getting sucked into Walmarts vortex. Especially if I only need a few groceries.Their produce is beautiful!! It looks like its artificial or something. I mean, look... just look at these onions!!Its crazy, theyve got a light shining on them and everything!!Ok.. that being said, I have been there THREE times recently, and they have been OUT OF SUGAR. Again.... OUT of sugar. 😑What corporate grocery store runs out of household staples? And more than once!?Then if you mention it to the employees upon checkout, they just look at you with a blank stare on their faces. They dont even acknowledge you or try to help. We had three employees at once just looking at us like they could not comprehend our request.Im starting to see now why they are CONSTANTLY hiring. My idea is that they should hire someone whose sole job is to maintain the sugar. So, so ridiculous!!

Used to like shopping at Kroger until the remodel. I even gave it a few months to settle in but still don’t care for it. The organic section was all together and in one place, very convenient. Now it is spread throughout the store and have not been able to find/ or they stopped carrying some of the products I used to buy. I even asked at the customer service desk about The products. No worries amazon has them and they deliver. But there produce is the best in urbana.

Always have great sales. Friendly employees who always are very helpful. Prices are competitive with other groceries. Great place to shop.

HORRIFIC customer service. Was asking for help aquiring a Kroger card because we just moved here. I have one, but my boyfriend does not. I asked an employee for help, and was met with nothing but condescending, snide remarks. She rudely told us to come back another day and get one? She couldn’t be bothered to walk 5 feet and get a packet. So I asked her if I could go get one from the service desk, and she says “I’m too busy right now to go to the service desk. Come back another day”. Turns out this woman is a MANAGER. ARE YOU KIDDING! Kroger needs to give those with appropriate skills that title. This is where I do a majority of shopping, and I will not be back!!!!!

Good selection of goods. Nice bakery and deli and fair selection of produce. Store layout is slightly off. The more popular aisles, such as soda and chips are narrower than other aisles in the store and makes it difficult to get through them at busy times of the day. Have you Kroger plus card to save money and not pay their high prices on most items.

Spoke with Melissa in produce. She is always friendly and has often helped me select ripe fruit. Etc. Then Cindy W.helped in the express lane . So much easier to shop with their help!

You really only have 2 major choices in Urbana for groceries... Kroger and Walmart. I was never happy with the meat or produce at Walmart. Krogers quality is better on fresh foods and meats, but Walmart has them beat on other item pricing. Kroger comes in even when adding in fuel rewards program if youre a big driver.

I always shop at Krogers. I like that the produce is always fresh, you cant beat the prices. And the people in the pharmacy are great always helpful.

The Pharmacy and the Pharmacists and pharmacists technicians are the VERY BEST EVER....Amy and all of the stores staff are the very best too. Im at the Urbana Kroger store on an average of at least 3 times a week (seriously). You want it they have it and usually cheaper than the horrible Walmart store..parking is fantastic at Kroger. Carts are in and dried constantly. Wonderful people and last but NOT least the family and friends I see in there EVERY TIME Im in there is the best. Thank you and on a very serious note I honestly think ALL of the Kroger employees should be paid more. Much more because they all deserve it..

This Kroger is so great, they make me feel like they are only here for me.

I go to Kroger often. Its much quicker than Wal-Mart when you only need a few things. But after my last visit, Im hesitant to visit again. Im a 15 year old mother to a 3 month old. During my last trip, one employee decided to look at my daughter, which everyone does, so it was no problem. Except she assumed my daughter was actually my mothers child, and my shocked to discover I was actually her mom. Instead of just moving along the conversation and saying congratulations, this employee proceeded to tell me to keep my legs shut in a quarter jar. She also asked if I had my daughter traditionally, to which I replied yes. She then asked if that taught me a lesson. I understand being a parent comes with having to build a thick skin, but this discussion was unnecessary and rude.

Based on the state of the mens restroom alone I would be overly cautious about consuming any prepared food there.I was in after they had been opened for hours. There was a lake of urine in front of the urinal and fecal matter smeared on the toilet in the handicapped stall. The check board mounted on the door showed that no cleaning had been performed that day. Gross.

I like this Kroger because the people are friendly, but dont treat you like youre their friend. It has a decent liquor department, and generally the produce is in good shape.

I got extra help today. Two different people were extremely courteous and helpful trying to find some sugar for me. Thank You.

I’ve been there multiple times, and every single time I’m there someone on the speakers always alerts the workers. Today it was “code 13, position 65” coincidentally I was in aisle 13. I was the only person in that aisle, and every single time I’m there the code is always the aisle I’m in (last time I was there it was an announcement about stealing). Besides the fact that I feel targeted by this place, it is unorganized. The layout of the store is clumsy and not very well lit. Don’t call people out in the store, make your lights brighter so you can actually see what is happening instead of randomly accusing people!

Kroger, please be a little sharper, theres a Walmart across the road! I have for years made Kroger my first stop for grocery shopping in Urbana, and will continue to do so. But I just had a disappointing experience. Trying to avoid The Mart, I found that Kroger had two gas grills for sale, one an advertised special. Great! The smaller one was in stock, the larger(special), no. Always try to have your specials on hand! They could have it Saturday, I needed it then, and it required set up. I asked the manager if I could buy the floor model, politely, but definitely no. Two grills, about $300.00. Not a big deal for Kroger, but a big deal for me.I found two helpful employees at Walmart and bought my grills.

Ive been to many Kroger stores and this one is my least favorite. They keep this store very cold even in summer. I had to wear a winter coat in July. The isles are very crowded and it is very difficult because everyone was very rude. I will not visit this store again.

Always out of everything we have coipons for. Entire starbucks display was covered in dust and the dates on them all were September 4 2017. Yeah, someone put that display up with dust and all.
