Since the place has been remodeled it looks beautiful in there and people are very nice

I went to Dollar General the other day and they refuse me service and threaten to fine me for not wearing a mask. It’s not by law you have to wear a mask it’s all controlled by the government our governor can remove this mandate but he refuses to do it. If we don’t stand up for what we believe in in our rights they will continue to be taken away from us.. I refuse to wear a mask because the virus is 99.9% recovery rate don’t let governors or places take over your rights let’s stand up for each other before it’s too late.

Got what we needed. Cashier wearing her mask correctly and was very friendly.

Place isnt even open now. Signs saying its closed, with a truck parked in front and a wood pallet blocking the door.

Dollar General is 5 star cause the less fortunate people or lower class can go here for service and not just for sweets.

Very disappointing today. The cashier had a mask on but none of it was covering her mouth or her nose. She did have gloves on. I think all employees dealing with the public while this is going on needs to have gloves and a mask on. we dont know where anybodys been just like they dont know where any of us have been. Id rather be safe than sorry

I love Dollar General especially the one here in Fisher Illinois I can always find unique things. And the help there its just wonderful they know whats in the store he can tell you yes or no and now also take you to help you find it its just a wonderful place to shop. And its also good for those quick pick-me-ups like milk and bread and things like that that you run out of

I like the store but the management is apparently not very likeable since there are always new people working at the register.

This one has the best variety and prices than any other Dollar General Store Ive been to (Ive never had a full cart before, in DG). That is including several states as well. Problem I had, the A/C was obsolete, and the employees looked miserable. They didnt show it though, excellent customer service from the lady working. She ROCKED. The items were unorganized as well, but the woman was the only one fronting shelves, assisting customers and running register. It is a BIG store, and her co-worker wasnt any help. Sometimes staff discusses personal things in front of and towards or about customers. No offense but some things are better left unsaid in a store. Otherwise great store, clean, organized, fully stocked and additionally the staff are really good people.

It was ok had decent amount of merchandise

I like shopping at this dollar general store particular because of the great customer service representative that are working. But the store needs to do better supplying consumer with goods by hiring people to stock the shelves and having two cashier available for long lines. Its really upsetting when you go visit this store to buy things and the shelves are bare do to nobody being available to stock the shelves.

This particular store looked very lacking in orderly fashion. Had to go way out in parking lot for a cart. Several items out of stock. Friendly people at checkout. Prices competitive.

Theyve really clean the place up the people have been nicer last time it wasnt so great but it has improved a lot since last year so I can only give it three stars keep it up and Ill give you more if you get a v I know youre trying

The staff is friendly. Good bargains. Great place to shop! The store overall needs to be cleaned and items need to be stocked and/or put away and not in the isles.

Negative 5 stars if I could! Its one of the most unorganized and dirty stores Ive been to. There is always product just tossed around, countless of times Ive found expired food, and milk and have said something to management and go back in a few days later and the expired stuff is still on the shelf. 🤢 they are ALWAYS OUT of at least 3 out of the 5 things I go in there for. It sucks because its the closest store to my house, i will be taking the extra drive to go to a nicer dollar general.

New help tryed to be nice and helpful, but they are poorly trained and overwhelmed by their inventory circumstances. There is inventory everywhere to be put out, but not being done. Back room looks like disaster area just like the front. Bathrooms are bad, water stinks, no soap, and no towels. Very dirty, disorganized and empty shelves everywhere with trash open food and drinks on every isle. Try A different DG until this place gets sorted out.

If you like waiting in lines for 25 plus minutes this is the place

Convenient location wise for me but the store can use more employees or something my last visit had to wait in a nice long line cause of it being 1 cashier

They are always under construction. Not really but I think theyre so short staffed all the time and nothing gets put on a shelf. It sits in boxes in the isles

The store is very disheveled, lack of organization and items just laying everywhere. The cashier was great though and answered a couple of questions that I had. I blame the look of the store on Dollar general corporate. They are obviously trying to run a store on a skeleton crew. The cashier that helped me seemed to be the only employee present. How do DG Corp expect one person to get everything done that needs to be done. Shame on you DG Corp, hire more employees!

I would give all of them a 5 ☆☆☆☆ if they would make sure all their items were priced !

Beautiful customer service

The urbana, Illinois location looks like 80s Soviet Russia. Bare shelves, out of too many things. What they do have is often scattered on the floor or still on pallets from truck day last week. The Tolono location always looks good, as does Rantoul for alternatives

Service was good BUT its dirty as hell

One of the older black managers is very nice and professional. The store is still filthy and I dont understand the reason for it.

Need more help during peak hours

The store is so undone and out of order it is sad. Not enough help stuff on the floor shelves have empty spots and then 1 poor cashier. I was walking so I didnt have a choice
