Excitement turned to sadness and disappointment. Almost immediately I was steered toward their lowest priced cabinets with minimal finish options. Im not saying anything was wrong with the cabinets but I wanted other colors, I think it was pretty evident that I wasnt happy. Even after I inquired about other finishes, the person there didnt price it out for me, I think because they believed I couldnt afford it. They never asked what my budget was. Not verbatim but it was one of those I could price it out for you but its going to be out of your price range anyway so Id rather not waste my time that is the impression I got when speaking to them. I was embarrassed and felt like I didnt belong in their showroom, I almost left middle consult but didnt want to be rude.

Mollie has been fantastic to work with from design to adjusting for our budget as we work on our basement bar. We have CLF cabinets on our main floor that are 3 years old and they’ve held up great - even with young kids.

We worked with Luke and had an outstanding experience. This is the only way to go. Big box stores cant compete with the selection, customization and attention to detail youll find here. Not even close.

Would love to have someone call me back to help out in the special order of a cabinet needed for my builder. I have been attempting to get this done since Aug. You would think someone would want to take my money for a special order. Can anyone help??

They came on time and were very thoughtful. Two chips in our counter tops were repaired and a seam repaired. The result was better than expected! I would highly recommend them.

Our Cambria Quartz counters are absolutely beautiful. Our designer was superb to work with, however when installed, there were several problems. The major disappointment was the counter next to our small wall by the sink was measured or installed wrong with a 1/4 inch space. The original person who measured came, did try to fix it by adding some crushed stone but it does not look right. As expensive as the counters purchased, we are still not real happy with the end results, therefore only give a 3 star rating..

I would never do business with this company again. Its the company our builder sent us to. The designer was not helpful and she would not return my phone calls I had to get the Builder involved to have a return to my calls. Then we had a drawer where the sliding mechanism was broke and we didnt notice it till we went to install the hardware so I called the designer and she said she didnt have a clue what to do so she sent me to the service department. He returned my call the next day and said the designer should have just gone ahead and ordered that for me but that he would order it and come on out and replace it. Thats been a month ago and Ive heard nothing since from anyone. Spent several thousand in cabinets.

We have been trying for 3 years to get the damaged cupboards they installed replaced and/or repaired. They drilled holes for hardware in wrong place, damaged front cupboard from factory, side of cabinets coming apart, to name a few issues. These are only 5 1/2 year old cabinets.I have left 4 messages since April and no response or follow up to my calls and concerns.I decided to call one final time,and spoke with another manager who promised to follow up and get back to me, well its been 1 week and no response yet.I forgot they use to be Armstrong Cabinets, who closed doors a couple years ago here in Urbandale, but opened with new name, but they have the same people working here and the same issues. Would never buy here or recommend them to anyone.

I had my Majestic brand fireplace repaired by CKF and Im very satisfied with the service. Unfortunately Majestic is out of business so there is only one business in Des Moines that services this brand of fireplace, but fortunately it is CKF. The service technician was courteous throughout even taking the time to teach me how to maintain the fireplace to avoid problems in the future. In addition, the service is guaranteed for a year and if any issues arise in that time the only cost will be the price of parts. Im glad that I called CKF and will certainly be a return customer for any fireplace needs in the future.

Over rated. Rude staff

I went into this store twice trying to get help. The first time no one was there to greet me so I left. The second time the man who was there was rude. I will take my business elsewhere.

Poor customer service, acted like I was imposing when I asked a question. Then when I called back for a quote, the sales person never got it to me. Apparently they weren’t interested in my money! Someone else will be!!
