I love this store! There is so many different products. Make up, hair, hair appliances, skin care, perfumes and lots of hair accessories. They have almost every brand of make up that you can think of. Prices are decent. All of the employees are so helpful and answer any questions you may have. I didnt get the name of the girl who helped me, but she was lovely! All of them know their stuff...which colors look best on you and which skin care products you need.

Used to be an Ulta fan. They used to give free samples with purchase. Now Even though they advertise free samples or gifts with purchase, I place an order over 300 dollars without one free sample. I called, and was told they mustve run out. Hard to belive they ran out of ALL the samples and free gifts that were offered on that large of an order. I didnt get one! I have in the past found new products from the samples. Im very disappointed.

My first time in this store a helpful young lady offered to help my ex girlfriend find her correct shade of makeup. She promptly had a meltdown in the middle of the store because she wanted a foundation that was seven shades too dark for her skin, and I was never forced to come here again. A+!

Let me begin by saying that I love Ulta and the variety. However, the location in Valdosta is something left to be desired. I’m never greeted when walking in, and the associates almost never ask me if I need help finding anything, they just look miserable to be there and just stare at you instead. I don’t expect them to wait on me hand and foot, but acknowledgement would be nice sometimes. I noticed multiple opened products during my last visit, and one of the associates standing a few feet away heard me exclaim in disgust after I discovered that the last of a certain item had been opened and the safety seal damaged with a hole blatantly poked through the foil, and yet did nothing. Some of the shelves with certain products are almost always bare for months, as though they’re just not being restocked. The cashiers are usually pretty okay though, and the store itself seems fairly clean, and I appreciate that they still require masks.

Theyre so pricey, but they usually have a sale or a coupon you can use.

So, everyone was pretty nice. Then I got home and opened the hair gel that I just bought for $20 and someone stuffed their fingers inside of it. So I bought a used product for $20 in the middle of a pandemic.

Very kind people, and they helped me to figure out a routine to keep up with my curly hair (that seems impossible to work with)! They’re the best place I’ve ever gone to!

Selection and service excellent...at prices far less than the competition. If they dont have your request, they will do their best to accommodate you. Great location as well. If you get hungry while shopping there are so many diverse restaurants very near by.

I took my 9 year old biracial daughter to a hair appointment and had by far the worst salon experience I have ever had in my entire life....she had to listen to to not one but two beauticians talk negatively about her hair and not only about her hair but about me for not having her hair done to take her to get her hair done it was ridiculous they were there to do a job and instead brought a child to tears they should not be working in customers service. When you are being paid to take care of people you should do it right dont make then feel bad about themselves I expected better from ulta for the price I paid she should have left feeling like a princess not a peasant. I really expected better from the Company. If I could give 0 stars I would have..

The best place to buy make up, hair products, nail polish, and a lot of other things to make you look and feel beautiful. The make up is expensive, granted, but it lasts for a long time. I bought concealer back in 2016 and Im still using it. I highly recommend this place!

Worst salon I’ve been too. I thought i am going to ulta salon and going to get my hair done the way I’ve dreamed off. I showed her the picture I wanted and she said no problem. My hair were up to my hip. First she left the bleached on my hair for 1 hour because she was taking care of another customer. Then when she started to do highlights, the color ran out and she had to run down to sally to get another box, which led to another 45 mins of the color left in one side of my hair. When she washed my hair, my hair start breaking off. I thought it was normal due to the heat and bleach. After I came home, my hair broke off 6 inches. It’s been 1 year now and they are broken and not growing at all.

Stopped in this evening for dance makeup for my 4 year old daughter. The associate who helped us was AMAZING. She quickly recommended products we specifically requested, most of which were the less expensive brands. She took time matching foundation to my daughters very fair skin, finding the perfect shade of blush, eyebrow pencil shade, and lip color so our little ballerina will be stage ready. Thank you for making her feel so special and important!

Love my Ulta! Valdosta has the best staff. They are always so helpful and willing to give advice and a free make over to figure out what fits your face best. Totally recommend this location!

Friendly workers and very knowledgeable and helpful

I went today and was very much unsure of what I wanted to have done. Had some pictures and I went from shoulder hair to a nice short cut with a color and style .. The Stylist was Michelle. I cant say enough about her... She is truly the Best...I have been to other Salons... but she truly was right on Que!!! with my style and color and cut... Everyone.... Go see Michelle.... she not only knows her stuff... but makes you feel right at home. Thank you so much Lady...It was truly a great experience... I will be Back!!!

I came to get my brows waxed, and Danielle (I think thats her name!) was excellent! She is the Benefit Cosmetics rep. I love Benefit anyway, but Danielle helped me pick out a few new products and was very knowledgeable. The only reason why Im not giving five stars is that I always feel a bit overwhelmed walking into the store. There always seems to be a lot going on, and it often takes me a bit to find what I need. Other than that, I will be going back to get my brows done again!

I love Ulta and I have never had a problem going there. But ULTA PLEASE HIRE PEOPLE THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Who test matches people on their face when they have a full face of makeup ?? Makes no sense . The lady with the gold colored eyebrows tried to match me when I had my make up beat to the Gods then tried to rub it in WITH A SPONGE

I received a service from a stylist who was absolutely kind, wonderful and professional but sadly didnt do what I initially asked and what she did do was poorly blended especially for the over $300 price. *I have Short/medium hair*. I went back in a little under 2 weeks later because I was like okay I need to speak up that this job is unacceptable. I spoke to the manager who was no where near as kind or professional as my original stylist. Trying to give me the run around as to not have to fix it and that she saw nothing wrong with my hair. (I was told by 2 other stylists from my home state that my hair was unacceptable especially for the price.) She finally agreed to fix it 2 days later. During this appointment her work had a lot of banding or blending that resulted in some small sections looking slightly leopard print. I told her what I saw. She fixed it again. Slightly less leopard print pieces. I am not 100% happy but I am much happier than my very first result. I can style it and live with it for the time being until I can get back to a stylist I fully trust.

I made an appointment to get my hair highlighted and trimmed. The highlights look great, however, the hair cut portion of this experience was awful. She stated that she had been cutting hair for 30 years, however, it looked like a child cut my hair. The layers were extremely choppy, and the layers near my face werent the same length on either side. I immediately left Ulta, crying, and called someone else to fix the damage. We ended up having to cut side bangs because so much had been chopped off on my right side. The stylist also failed to tell me that it would be $21.00 just to style my hair. If I had known that, I wouldve walked out of there with a wet head at that point. Dont ask What style would you like? and fail to tell the customer that there is an additional fee to blow dry and straighten your hair. I will not recommend this salon, and she needs to be reexamined as to whether or not she is qualified for this job.

Only shop here for some lipsticks which is $12 a pop! Staff is friendly but only seems to be with certain people. Prices are too high for our area but I guess they are making it work somehow.

I needed to get my hair done for Fathers Day yesterday. I had the pleasure of seeing Jaz. Since I have been natural for 6 years, I am very cautious on who I let in my hair. There are salons who trick you by straightening your hair by adding relaxer without your knowledge. This was definitely not the case, my hair was washed, blow dried, and styled within the hour. Thank you for everything, I received many compliments from people who thought I was relaxed and could not believe that being natural looked this good. Will definitely come back 🤗

As with most Ulta stores, I walked in and was ignored. My daughter was with me, about 1 step behind me, and the sales associate walked AROUND me to greet my daughter and ask if she needs help. I eventually walked up to two young ladies who were talking to each other and asked for help. They looked at each other for a long minute before one finally asked what I needed.

Ive never seen someone so unhelpful. A foreign citizen at checkout gets the flyer discount at 20% and I dont. Wow, being senior and retire military spouse I thought this outward witness of discrimination was very very sad. It will be a long while before I go t Ill this location again.

It has definitely gotten alot better. Before they never seemed to want to help, but now they actually seem better. Not the best but getting there. My girlfriend also said that they have a Becca Rep there now. She loves that brand and says that she does an amazing job. I wonder what else they will have soon.
