Les is awesome and extremely helpful. Very organized and thorough. I highly recommend this shop for all transfers
I have been using Les for a few years now. He is quick to respond to emails and phone calls. I prefer to support the locally owned small businesses and Clark County Gunsmithing is a gem in our area. Highly recommended.
Very nice guy, guided me thru the process and made it very easy.. plan to use him again!
I’ve done business with Les for a long time and he’s my go to for transfers. Great rate and customer service every time.
Les installed new sights on my G23c. Took a couple days. Work was well done! Improved the accuracy of my weapon. Will use him again.
Very kind and excellent to work with! Thanks Les!
Ive used Clark Count Gunsmithing for both repairs and FFL transfers. In all my experiences they were pleasant to deal with, up front about the costs and the repair work was reasonable! I recommend them to my friends and will use them for any future needs I have.
I had a hard time fitting my 870 clone with a new stock. He worked it out and turn around time was excellent.
Had my gun for 2+ months for a simple fix he said would take a week. Did keep me updated via email. Was not able to fix my gun but still made me pay for the labor which was understandable. He did however ruin my barrel rib, which I was not notified about until pickup. After getting the gun home and noticing the rib was completely bent I was left dumbfounded how he could still charge me for a gun that is now in worse shape than when I brought it in. Now I have to buy a new barrel due to bent and broken rib, That he said I could pay someone else to fix. Never going back here again.
I looked around to find a good deal to repair my rifle. He gave me a good deal. (that is why I came from very far away). Told me about a month. Took the job but then figured that he did not have the right tools to fix it. Ordered the tools, took 3+ month to fix it. Then he charged me double of the agreed amount. Very disappointed. I would never come back.
OK, I did do a little research prior to bringing my little Marlin Papoose to Clark County Gunsmith but other than a little bit longer than normal wait to get it on the table to be looked at, I was amazed at the service and attention to detail. Got it back on time and under budget, was busy so didnt get a change to take her out till today, and boy was the work well worth the cost! Great job! I know who will get all of my work in the greater Portland area from now on!
Best gunsmith around my far. I would highly recommend them even if you have to drive from Oregon. They were professional and did a great job on my Les Baer 1911. The price was very reasonable.
Excellent transfer. After a little hiccup out of his control, he was able to complete the transaction after hours and allow for a pickup the same day.
Nice friendly person
Les did a great job on 2 heirloom shotguns. Always friendly professional service.
This is the only place Ill ever take my firearms for gunsmithing. Have tried others but keep coming back here. Les is very knowledgeable and does great work for a fair price. Ive also used them for FFL transfers. Highly recommend!
