Updating to say that on a regular ammo run I found some extra magazines for my EDC, magazines that are literally nowhere to be found in stores or online. Thanks!Best ammo selection in PNW (that I’ve seen!) and their tally (online and on the front window) is accurate. Was looking for any 12 gauge I could get and found some Winchester Deer Slugs that were a ton of fun to shoot at the range (saving some for currency or zombies). Good sales crew around helping out. Clean store. Cool dog roaming around. No masks but they’re having you wash your hands which never hurts no matter the situation so be ready for that and get over it. They’re a bit of a drive for me but I’ll definitely be back for more shells and probablymy next gun.

This company has the best customer!! I had place an order with them and it was lost the UPS. They sent me out a duplicate order for at no expense to me!! However, this order was lost less than a week after the first!!! They immediately sent me a a replacement order!! It has cost them $$ and absorbed the loss to keep me from having to come out of pocket!!! It’s been a long time since I have had such service. I recently bought a gun here and was super excited about it until i went to another gun store and saw the same gun for significantly cheaper. (I was at the other store purchasing another gun also) I figured i might as well return my firearm to sporting systems (the other store said it shouldn’t be an issue) and get the better priced gun. I didnt think it was going to be an issue since i’m still waiting on the background check and havnt received the gun yet. I go into sporting systems and ask if i can cancel my order. I was told no. I offered to pay for the background check. Still No. This is the only gun store i know that has this rule. I was told “sorry you over paid, should shop around next time, we have a huge sign that says all sales final” (i looked and didnt see any huge sign that said so) So this will be my last firearm that i purchase from here. If you want to be treated like family and know you are getting a good deal go to Limitless America.** Edit / responseFirst off i never told you how much the difference was. I wouldnt care if it was $50. This just shows your characteristics here assuming im poor and would complain about $50. It was several hundred dollars. Same make and model gun also. And its fine. Ill take the gun when it clears. Just wont do future business here. I never once said i was treated badly either. Simply just left the review for the bad policy and the comment said to me.

Wierd how they enforce covid rules strictly on customers but half the employees have their masks off, little disappointed on their very small ammo selection yet other reviews say differently, dont try to take any photos or youll be reminded firmly for no pictures to be taken. On the high side of pricing so make sure you shop around first but if its the only place that has it in stock, then it is what it is. Overall okay experience just wish I went to other stores first and saw what I was missing out on.

My first and last time at this store. There are so many barriers to doing business with them and they certainly arent warm and inviting. It would be nice if they cared enough about new customers to make an effort to earn their business, but I lost my patience after jumping through one too many of their hoops.At this time the state of Washington is fully open after the Covid restrictions. I understand that each store can determine their own policies regarding Covid safety for customers and their employees. I also understand that limiting the number of people in the store at any given time could be Covid related, or a safety issue. There are only so many employees and a lot of guns on display and we all want a safe shopping experience when looking for firearms. But they are militant to the point of being ridiculous.I was picking up a new pistol after waiting for the background check. When I visited for the first time, I found out they make you wash your hands before you can enter the store. This time, I walked in expecting that policy to have been ended because we are fully open (and Im fully vaccinated). But the owners wife practically pushed me outside when I entered the store because someone was using the restroom and they require everyone to wash their hands before entering. I asked why? She asked me to wait outside. I told her I was simply there to pick up my gun. Im not shopping. I asked her why I was required to wash my hands if I am fully vaccinated and she said shed have her husband (the owner) explain it to me because she didnt think I would listen to her! First of all, thats extremely presumptuous (and very rude) and I was in no mood to wait outdoors to have the owner mansplain to me why they have this policy.It ends up it has nothing to do with Covid (according to his explanation) and more about personal hygiene. Apparently their clientele urinate in the parking lot, pick their noses, or come in from their construction jobs with filthy hands. Regardless, despite the majority of great reviews, after two visits there I was made to feel like an outsider and my business was not appreciated. Never really had a chance to shop. Oh well.The owner posted this in response to another complaint about their Covid policies, but given this is not related to Covid it makes you question whether a retail business has the right to force you to wash your hands?Limited occupancy, mandatory hand washing upon entry, social distancing in store and outside in the queue, masks, single use items where possible, routine cleaning of all common areas after each use, eliminated all classes, restrict entry to shoppers only and no tagalongs, limited hours, routine testing for all staff, limiting store visits for things that can be done remotely.They do have a great selection of firearms and I was excited to find a store thats so highly reviewed in my area, but I cant recommend doing business with these people because of their arcane store policies. Maybe I just dont know the secret handshake.

Bought by first firearm (AR Lower) definitely recommend. Simple NICS check, lower was $65 with a total of $70.01. They are very professional and they were very patient when walking me through the 4473. Would recommend first time buyers to go to Sporting Systems as they were the only ones in the Vancouver-Clark County area to have AR lowers at an affordable cost.

Wouldnt let my friend purchase any ammo because they happen to be standing with me and talking to me. We explained we arent in the same household and they didnt care even though she had an ID with a clearly different address than mine. Her crime was having a friend in line with her.So now she gets nothing except a wasted hour of time.EDIT: within 4 hours the store made this right. Just had the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a firearm. They are more than a gun store; shooting sports lifestyle store is more like it. Dan, Heidi, Chase and crew were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the products I was interested in. They ended up educating on a few things I was unaware of. Didn’t walk out empty handed, that’s for sure! Everything is reasonably priced. You have to check out Sporting Systems if you are looking for something in the shooting sports industry.

Just watched this store bar a Veterans LEGITIMATE service dog from entering. They wont be getting my business!EDIT: In response to the Response from the Owner, the dog had no less than 4 items VISIBLE on it stating it was a service dog. The wife/husband didnt argue with you because they had just spent 40 minutes standing in the cold to enter your store and didnt want to make a giant scene when people were waiting behind them. (The wife told me this herself.) So for you to claim they didnt contest is a little bit sad when your employee could visibly see it was a service dog.

Drove 100 miles from deep inside Oregon to meet a member of NorthwestFirearms to do a trade.With all of the COVID rules, this shop was absolutely amazing. I would never hesitate to go here again. $50 for the trade may be ‘high’ but I will gladly pay for what these guys do for residents of Washington.Very nice

Ive purchased items from Sporting Systems when they were at their old location and received excellent service. Ive been trying shop local instead of online, so I decided to stop by to pick up some bits to finish off a build. They had signs outside alerting people of what was in stock to minimize people in store. Given the current pandemic, I found this promising the store taking precautions seriously. However, the young man who met me at the door was not wearing a facemask, killing all my hopes of shopping safely as I live with high risk individuals. I couldnt see if any other employees inside were masked. When I need more parts Ill stop by to give them another chance, but getting sick over some parts isnt worth it to me.

I have been a customer of Sporting Systems for the last few years. Every time I have been in their store they have exceeded my expectations. Every employee I’ve been helped by has been competent, knowledgeable and patient. As someone that went in there for the first time with a basic and safety based knowledge, they were very kind and patient and truly showed they cared to help me find what I was looking for and help me further my knowledge. They are making customers line up outside the store and they dont answer their phone so if you want to ask Do you have ____ in stock?, you have to drive over there and wait outside in line for an hour to get an answer. Ive called them 10-15 times over the years and have never had them pick up the phone.EDIT: The owner called to me to argue and he doesnt get it. His business is booming but he still doesnt want to pay for one more employee to properly serve his customers and he doesnt care how much his customers are inconvenienced. Im done with that place.

Weve been going to Sporting Systems for quite some time, and not once have we ever had a bad experience, nor felt pressured into purchasing anything we werent ready to do. ALL of the staff has been awesome at answering any and all questions and helping us along the way. We will always come back here to make our firearms purchases, and have even visited during the pandemic. We understood the procedures put into place, and understood it was not just for our safety, its for the shop, employees AND other shoppers as well. ( We were trying to get me a firearm) he asked Me again if (I) was going to shop...I felt like if I wasnt going to make purchase they wanted me out of the store. Did not feel at all welcomed! If you havent been there yet, go. Customer service was stellar. Website has test for new Washington law. Place was laid back, except the hero salesman. They were helping customers, and each other. It was so professional I had to say something. There is free beverages while you wait for examiners to do your background check. Decor inside took you from cringing at a run down Hazel Dell Ave. into a different frame of mind. Owner operator was there as well. Hes a patriot. Nuff said. Also, hes just a pleasant individual who happens to look like an NFL linebacker. Hes done a great job hiring talent and running his business. First Class.

Best stock of firearms this side of the river. Theyre still very gung-ho about COVID. Only allowing four people in the store at a time and forced to wash hands first. Be prepared to wait in line. Great collection of military long weapons. Lots of eye candy.

I’ve bought many toys from them over the years. Despite 1639 lately, I’ve only had smooth experiences with them. They are consistently professional and helpful. I also really appreciate the amount of work they’ve been doing for our rights as well. That says a lot.

Seen lots of reviews of people complaining and whining. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but, if you’re going to complain about the wait-time or that you have to follow rules guess what, it’s not their fault. They’re just following guidelines like every other business has to. Want to complain, take that up with your congressman, senators, or Governor. Listen this place is hands down great, staff is phenomenal, everyone is super knowledgeable, nobody pushes you to buy anything, prices are great, and the guns are even better. I’ve been to a few locations in the Vancouver area and compared to others Sporting Systems has a great selection to satisfy anyones needs, you’re lucky if you can find the most basic of all basic at other locations. Purchased 3 firearms from Sporting Systems, and they are the only location getting my money. Owner is one helluva great guy, the frenchy is nice, conversations are awesome so no complaints.

Spoke with lady/owner via phone call 5:07PM. Looking to get paper work done on transfer. Transfer was delivered early AM. Plenty of time to get inventoried in. I tried to explain the bad experiences/situation that happened last transfer. Employee forgot to put in u-pen# by the time he was done he ran my background 3 times = delayed. Mid sentence she started raising her voice talking over me very rudely repeating that she had to inventory it first and shes not going to change her answer. I let her know I understand it has to be inventoried. If she would have took just a little time to listen to my concerns as a customer. I was addressing two issues. Very rude wont be doing business anymore. The employees are very nice. But the owners can be very rude. At times they have been pleasant/helpful to deal with. This is the second time iv had bad experience. Great service, huge inventory for such a small establishment. I took my Henry X rifle in on a potential trade for a different rifle. It didn’t work out.. but they took the time to consider/look over my rifle. It’s funny to see the ridiculous complaints on their page because I’ve never had any issues. Guess it must be a “Karen” Thing to complain about such asinine problems.

I purchased a Wilson Combat/Beretta 92G Vertec Centurion from Sporting Systems for $1663. Because of the virus situation when I picked up the firearm I had to wait outside to receive my pistol . I took the package home and when I opened it I found that one of the tabs to close the pistol case was broken off and completely missing.When I opened the case and unpacked the pistol and magazines I found one 15rd, one 17rd and one 20 rd magazines. The pistol is supposed to be supplied with two 17rd and one 20rd magazines.I called Sporting Systems and was told that this is a Beretta problem and I would have to contact them. They only make sure that there is a pistol in the box when they receive it and it is sold as is.This pistol was in their display case when I first looked at it prior to me purchasing it. They opened the box and removed the pistol from the factory box and put it in the display case. How long it was on display and how many times was this pistol handled and compared while on display?They take no responsibility whatsoever for the problem.This is not the action of a responsible retailer. They show no integrity as a retailer to their customers or do they care about satisfaction.After having spent well over $7000 at Sporting Systems they have seen the last of my business.See the response to my review. This is the attitude that you get at Sporting Systems. It’s never their problem. It’s always the customer’s fault. This is someone without integrity. Blameless in every situation. Washington passed I-1639 which added more unnecessary hoops to force a future semi auto rifle purchaser to jump through. This includes a vague training course as a requirement. Sporting Systems has a great resource that will allow users to get certified to purchase a semi auto rifle for free on their website and its really easy. Its also very humorous in its subtle criticisms of the new law. This company has a lot of soul and seems to genuinely care about the consumer.

I have bought a lower and a sig p365 there and both times the staff were extremely professional and courteous. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They offer refreshments while you fill out paperwork and when theres not a pandemic on they are a very family friendly place. All in all excellent place to be and they dont have that looking down thier nose at you vibe that you get at other gun shops. I will be buying there for any future purchases.

Been here a number of times. Very good selection of guns and parts. Super clean and awesome asthetic setup. Most staff was knowledgeable. Some staff had a condescending demeanor. Pricing is okay, not the greatest, a little higher than what things should cost.Did a gun transfer there at one point. Took almost a month for the backgroud check to go through.Would give 4 stars if pricing was more competitive. Overall, will still come here for parts.

Came here since I have always wanted to check it out. I had heard very good things about these guys on Facebook. Since I was getting a new shotgun, I wanted to go buy some target and defensive rounds. Also needed some defensive and target rounds for my AR15. I didnt call ahead or anything. I drove 10 minutes out and got there. I had to wait in a line outside of course but the owner was very courteous and offered me water or coffee. I carry a water with me everywhere so I was good.After a whiles wait, the owner comes back and asks me what I want. I tell him, he says they got all of it. I was happy to hear that. Once I was let in, I had to go wash my hands. Their bathroom is extremely nice. I finished washing my hands and walked back towards the paradise awaiting me. I had not seen such a nice gun store before, let alone this stocked after the COVID gun rush. I wish I had taken more time to look at some guns but I was mindful of the ones waiting outside. Well. There was no one outside but still.Dani came up to me after finishing up with a customer. I was clearly lost as I couldnt find the ammo I was looking for. Basic shotgun shells for range use. 25 rounds of Federal for $8.99. Not bad at all. Got two boxes of that and followed it with two of Winchester Super X 3 Inch Slugs for defense. Pricey yes. Worth it? Well, I have a Mossberg 500 Cruiser pistol grip shotgun as my very last line of defensive after 32 rounds of loaded 9mm and 120 rounds of loaded 223 run out. I want one of the best defensive loads I can get. Got two boxes. Price was definetely high but hey, excellent rounds cost money. Paid about $32ish or $36 for all that. Not too shabby. Ive paid more for less due to this COVID rush.Went out to my car, placed my goodies in the passenger seat and almost forgot. The 223/5.56 NATO. Ran back towards the entrance, washed my hands and went back to the front. Dani came up and asked what I needed. I needed one box of defensive ammo and a few boxes of 5.56 for plinking. They had Hornady Black in stock which was definetely a surprise. I had not seen that in town for a while so I took me one box to complete my 60 round drum full of the best Hornady rounds. Got 5 boxes of 5.56x45 NATO for range use. $8.99 a box of 20 is not bad.One very cool thing was seeing the M249 SAW. This was also one of the coolest things I had ever seen in my lifetime. I never thought in my life Id see one of these bad boys. I would definetely pay to try it at the range. Maybe some day. 🤷‍♂️Thank you Sporting Systems for the amazing experience. I cant wait to be back again and buy more ammo and possibly someday buy a piece. For now all I need is ammo because my hometown is out. Cleaner than all the stores and hospitals as well. The toilet seat here was cleaner than the counters or floors at any other store. Germs will be germs. Humans follow sanitary and safety regulations. Germs will never do that. They will get at you one way or the other, whether you wash your hands and dry your hands with the paper towels on the counter or air dry. Doesnt matter, germs will be on your hands, on your body, on your shirt, on your shoe, on your toe nail, and Lord knows where else. You will never be an extremely clean human being.

Awesome service. Lines take a little bit but with covid 19 thats to be expected. But once inside they give you their full attention and they dont make you feel rushed. Pretty good selection. Always seem to have what Im looking for and some that Im not lol.

I went in for my first handgun, and had the best experience ever. They really take the time to figure out what you’re interested in and show you things that you will actually be interested in based off of listening to what you want that experience was spot on...When I say this I mean it truthfully, there is absolutely 0 buying pressure. You are welcome to shop and look around to see about things you may be interested in. I wanted a Zev tech oz9 which is a high end modular handgun, and just off of that showed me some really cool custom glocks at half the price.. rather than pressuring me to just buy the more expensive one I already wanted and ended up going with cause I’ve had my eyes on it since they came out. I thought that was so cool. Background checks are ranging from 1-3 weeks on handguns and right on the 2nd week not a day longer they called me at 10:50am when they open at 11am leaving me a whole business day To make it over which was pleasantly more than enough time to pick it up.Ladies and gentlemen, if you’re looking for cool custom handguns, or rifles you owe it to yourselfto stop by and look before driving all over, cause this is the type of shop when you aren’t local to you make the drive.. 10/10 experience and I wasn’t sure how it would be until now. So only one of us could go in.. um yea sorry not going to make a big decision of buying a gun without my husband! So we took our business elsewhere and luckily we did because I am now a proud owner of a gun and my husband also found another gun to add to his collection! So sorry you missed out on selling two guns and a half hour of your time!

Very low pressure sales attitude at this store. I really enjoyed the shop. The selection was good with lots of options. I was looking for a Glock Gen5 and Luke was helpful with great advice. He was more interested in making sure I was satisfied and informed over making the sale. Once I decided to purchase, he was on top of it. Prices were good and I live in Vancouver so buying local was a huge plus. I’ll buy my next gun here. Easy to park at their store - parking on the side of the building.

In both of my experiences so far theyve been beyond professional, extremely knowledgeable and without a doubt helpful. The few times Ive been to Sporting Systems, its been excellent. Their employees are knowledgeable and kind, patient enough to listen to a novice shooters never ending questions as well as helping with comparison between firearms and working with price ranges. Their selection is varied, from low caliber handguns to high powered rifles as well as some more niche products (Such as a shotgun with an AK body), theyve got attachments, ammo, holsters, extra clips and such.

WOW. This is the absolute best gun shop I have ever been to. The store itself looks like a high end downtown fashion shop, but for guns. I almost felt like I should be paying a fee to come in to a private social club. The entire layout centers around a build bench that is for customer use. I found the entire staff to be extremely helpful, and they went out of their way to show me a few tricks while I assembled part of my newest purchase. I am won over as a customer.

High-end products at VERY affordable prices (better than any gun show or large store), extremely knowledgeable staff and plenty of them (more employees in a small shop than some warehouse stores), conceal carry classes, etc. Im there usually once a month. I hated shopping at small gun stores until now. Typically you feel small and unimportant when you enter smaller gun stores. Sporting Systems is the first place I have truly felt comfortable asking questions and interacting with the workers. They will be getting all of my future business.

Phenomenal store with an equally high quality staff. Luke, chase and the entire staff go above and beyond to make you feel like your apart of shop and will answer any question you have. This is also the only shop I’ve found that actually carries Wilson combat . From Budget items to high end weapon systems, this is the only shop worth spending my money and time at. I literally live less than a mile from safe fire, but make the nearly 20 min trip to solely deal with this establishment. They are also leading the fight against i1639 with actions and not just words. If you value your rights as a gun owner you should spend your money at a shop that stands and defends those rights even if the particular item you want “costs less” elsewhere. What’s more valuable to you? A couple extra dollars in your pocket, or the right to spend those extra dollars on a sport that’s vehemently being attacked and diminished by a constant barrage of anti gun legislation?

Came in to buy a lower receiver and walked out with all of the parts to build an amazing complete firearm with the best customer service you could ask for love these guys.

Greatest gun shop Ive been to ever ....And Ive been to every one in the area. Great selection friendly And knowledgeable staff. They even offer a workbench for you to bring in your fire arm and they supply most every tool you would need to repair your gun at no charge.... They could charge a small entry fee to come into this place lol... its that good.

This is a great atmosphere inside the shop. The staff is incredibly friendly not pushy at all willing to answer any questions that you may have. They carry a wide variety of different Firearms as well as the area for you to construct your own.

Hands down the best gun shop in washington that Ive found. Huge selection of AR lower, parts and pistols. Good knowledgeable guys. Even help you assemble your AR. I cant think of anything that they could improve on.
